Tommy Book Ban? Remember When We Were Shocked By The Rushdie Affair?

    ayatollah_ruhollah_khomeini-425px-004

Remember when that ignorant old savage in Tehran pronounced a ‘death sentence’ on Salman Rushdie, what, thirty five years ago, for no other reason than that the man had written a book the old bigot didn’t like?

    We were all horrified.

We found it incredible that writing a book, publishing a book, about anything, could by any standards by deemed an outlaw activity.

    marx

After all, we can buy Marx’s Das Kapital in most big bookshops, and his works bore, still bear, responsibility for more evil in the world than any other ‘intellectual’ enterprise.

Yet now we have Amazon, which carries both Rushdie’s and Marx’s books, and Mein Kampf, BTW, refusing to sell copies of Tommy Robinson’s book.

AND the arrogant little pillocks who serve as Amazon censors won’t even tell us WHY!

    ==========

I’ve used Amazon in the past.

But I detest book-burners, book-ban bigots, whether here in Indonesia…

    …or anywhere!

Now for the fight-back! A boycott to begin with?

    Or…

When will pro-free-speech supporters start a petition to get the book on sale again?!?

It won’t be long till Amazon start to ‘feel the heat,’ as our American friends like to say. Their intolerance is not tolerable.
It’s infuriating how some members of one particular religion arrogantly think they are above criticism.
Having read about what Islamic fanatics do in Indonesia, I can’t say I am at all surprised if they want to suppress British people’s liberties, but for Amazon to go along with them like this is something that won’t quickly be forgiven.

Fiona, it is time we stood up to them. We are fed up of their arrogant attitudes.
      ‘We must never offend them.’
‘We mustnt complain if they take time off while we have to work on through if the shops busy.’
‘We hsve to change school menus that our kids like just because they dont eat bacon.’
Now we can only buy books that dont upset their intolerant little minds?
Then we get called phobes because we dont like being pushed around by people who dont want to fit in.
They are the pushiest people in the world. We have to take a stand.

I hope a petition and lots of other protests will be organised and I will do what I can to help.
      This is very wrong.
What kind of people run Amazon?
Not British, not in any real sense, if they take the side of the ‘always-offended.’

Amazon Are NOT On Our Side!

I only recently realised that Amazon were on the side of the Enemy Within, consorting with the evil hate-group SPLC.

Now, by pure chance, somebody sent me this petition, organised not by any part of The Resistance but for entirely separate reasons.

However, I take the view that any weapon should be wielded if it hurts those who are hostile to the cause.

Since Amazon launched in the UK two decades ago, half the high street bookshops in the country have closed down, a new report reveals. [1]

Last year, Amazon posted record profits, yet they’re paying even less tax than the year before. [2] This report is the latest warning that our high street shops could continue to die off if the Chancellor, Philip Hammond, doesn’t level the playing field between our local shops and online giants like Amazon. [3]

An amazing quarter of a million of us have already signed a petition telling the Chancellor to make Amazon pay their fair share in tax. [4] Right now, he’s making plans for his next budget. [5] But you can bet highly paid lobbyists for online giants will be busy behind the scenes, fighting against a tax rise. We could tell him that the public want him to help protect our high streets and make companies like Amazon pay their fair share.

We don’t have long before he makes his final decision. George, will you add your name to the petition now?

It’s not right that a trillion-dollar company like Amazon can get away with paying less towards our public services than our local high street shops and businesses. [6] The Chancellor is considering a change, but we need to make sure he knows where the public stands. [7]

One of us alone couldn’t compete with the likes of Amazon, but hundreds of thousands of us are reading this email and together we’re powerful. We can leave the Chancellor in no doubt that he needs to make firms like Amazon pay their fair share.

Already 250,000 of us have signed. Will you add your name and help make sure companies like Amazon pay their fair share of tax?

    Petition Against Grisly Gaza Game!

Most RRA readers understand that the Hamas regime in Gaza is responsible for the death and destruction there. Launching terror raids against Israeli civilians has left the victim country no choice but to retaliate, though biased media here in Indonesia can’t seem to take that on board .

Air Mata Kobane? No Bleeding Heart Dirge for Kurds On TVOne?

    ————————————-

    But that’s one thing.

It’s something else entirely when Palestinian terrorist attacks are turned into a ‘game,’ marketed online!’

Last week, “Gaza Man” — a game promoting terror and the murder of Israeli soldiers — was released on the Amazon Appstore and the Google Play Store.

Our petition to remove the game from the Google Play Store was a success. Google relented and did the right thing. Now we need to double-down and make sure Amazon removes the game as well.

“Gaza Man” is nothing more than a tool to promote hatred, violence and the murder of Israeli soldiers among Palestinian youth.

Join our fight and tell Amazon: Follow Google’s lead. Do the right thing. Remove “Gaza Man” from the Amazon Appstore.

    oooooooooooooooo

     Sign the petition here –

I can’t find the app in the Amazon store. Maybe they already removed it.
