Cambridge professors in row over use of ‘eloquent’ as racist term | News | The Times

Read the whole story, the mindless, nit-picking pettiness of which is adequately summed up in that headline..

    ..

    “Eloquent’ as racist term.. “

…and contemplate how far Cambridge, once one of the finest universities in the land, has slithered downwards…

…to a nadir in which a ‘war of words’ is waged, ‘between two Cambridge professors after one suggested the other was racist for describing a black presenter as eloquent.’

One is Priyamvada Gopal, who teaches postcolonial studies at Churchill College…

“No Whites, Thanks – We’re BBC!”

Brits should be grateful to The Times for the revelatory report which has left the BBC’s rancid racism exposed for all to see.

    .

    =

NB – this is a follow-up to the post an hour or so ago- ‘Black Power’ Play At BBC?  – so maybe read that first if you missed it.

So horrified were the BLM addicts at UK Pravda, at the thought of a White Brit getting a top job in what they like to call their ‘news’ section…

    .

    .

…that they cast their own rules to the wind to prevent such a heinous outcome.

The BBC was so keen on a black candidate for an important news role that it secretly extended the application deadline so he could put himself forward for the position.

    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/marcus-ryder-bbc-reopened-job-for-black-candidate-lv6p5j9g7

    00000

No point in me going through the whole vile discriminatory saga, but suffice to say the nasty in the woodpile seems to have been not so much Marcus Ryder, who only seized an unfair opportunity, but a senior slug who stuck his nose in.

The fix was in, after “informal talks with Jamie Angus, the BBC senior controller of news output and commissioning… “

These BBC leftist fanatics are quite clearly out of control.

Ryder should be put at the back of the queue, behind all the other candidates who were conscientious enough to get their applications in on time!

And Angus ehould be given a boot up his sleazy ass and sent to the nearest JobCentre.

UK Racism – ‘Black Public Figures’ Defending Savages!

It would be easy to dismiss the moronic outburst from the Mayor of Louisville, Kentucky, a pinko named Greg Fischer (a Democrat, almost needless to say!) as simply that, moronic.

    .

    Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer

    .

With his BLM-style garbage executive order declaring racism a “public health crisis”  – Louisville Mayor Declares Racism a ‘Public Health Crisis’i – in his city, he basically trivialises the real public health crisis in the USA, that Chinese Virus.

    On the other hand…

    .

    ..

…one is tempted to wonder why Bojo or Priti Patel failed to declare something similar in response to those ‘Black Public Figures’ reported in the Guardian last month, the slimers siding with some of the vilest criminals in the UK…

Eighty-two black public figures have written to airlines who have worked on deportation charter flights urging them not to carry up to 50 Jamaicans the Home Office wants to deport next week.

Signatories include the author Bernardine Evaristo, model Naomi Campbell, historian David Olusoga and actors Naomie Harris and Thandie Newton, as well as lawyers, broadcasters and NGO chiefs.

It seems incredibly racist behaviour on the part of those creeps who signed the subversive appeal.

Disgraceful enough to publish a statement that effectively declares solidarity with alien rapists and murderers who don’t want to get sent back to whence they came.

But it’s outrageous that the organisers have seemingly restricted those allowed to sign the declaration to non-whites.

    .

    .

But this is the era of BLM, so racial preference ( in one direction!) is apparently not only tolerated but approved by the ‘liberal’ (far-left) media.

Would the Guardian even publish any declaration whose organisers are known, or even suspected, to have avoided seeking the signatures of coloured people?

Of course there is a great deal of discrimination in the UK – against sexually normal white males, that is…

Asked whether it would be possible for him to win the Booker or even to get published today because of “this current suspicion about white straight men”, and whether he was now disadvantaged, he replied: “I would not like to be starting out now, certainly. It’s very difficult.  “I despise this ‘woke’ movement….” https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/books/banville-criticised-by-fellow-booker-winner-for-saying-he-despises-woke-movement-1.4424788

So says, correctly, a former Booker winner!

…as we saw in the recent Booker Prize short list, which some drongo on tv was heard to BOAST about, because it had – if I’m not wrong – four non-whites, four women and two self-confessed queers.

But having heard brief outlines of their ‘works of literature,’ I doubt I will ever read most of them.

Coincidentally, one of last year’s Bookerettes is also one of the ‘Black Public Figures’ named in the Guardian’s roll of dishonour, a not very black bint named Evaristo.

And -surprise surprise!- another is that academic who interviewed Obummer, two hearts beating as one…BBC Exalts Obama’s Palinophobia – And Terror ‘Truth Decay!’…as mentioned a week or two ago, whose involvement in this new leftist escapade confirms that the BBC selected one leftist to interview another.

And then there’s that ‘model citizen…’

    naomi-campbell-33

Cadbury’s Crumbles before Nutty Naomi – Beauty Sans Brains?

    ==========

But all I’ve written and quoted above is secondary to the real sense of outrage I share with every decent Brit, at how

..thirteen Jamaican criminals, including four killers and two sex offenders, were deported today on a controversial Home Officeflight opposed by Labour MPs and celebrities….

    BUT..

…. a significant number of other offenders – including a rapist whose case was highlighted by Home Secretary Priti Patel in a letter to MPs – were removed from the flight at the last minute after legal appeals. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/jamaica-deportation-rape-crime-murder-home-office-immigration-b138825.html

Another win for the legalice and their Labour lackeys.

As for the ‘celebrities’ – and there are plenty of scumbag white celebrities as lousy as those BPFs – who want alien vermin kept in the UK, one can only hope they will be fortunate enough to bump into one or other of the predators they’ve preserved from justice, on a deserted London street, one dark night.

      I wouldn’t complain.
It just shows the rest of us whose side they’re on, that of convicted rapists and killers.
Of course don’t buy their books or watch their films, though I don’t know what films those actresses have been in.
I’d like to know which ‘broadcasters’ signed the letter.
Useful for the next time we get an ‘impartial’ broadcast?

    Knife-Charge Marcus Wants An Apology!

Remember that poor cop, suspended last week?

Thought UK Police Had No Problem With Kneelers!

Now Knife-Charge Marcus wants an apology!

So said his over-fed lawyer, on BBC Sunday morning ( Jakarta time)

BBC also showed us a shower of shrill gits imbecilically chorusing

    I Can’t Breathe!’

    .

    .

And they interviewed a snarky bint from the far-left gang called ‘Stand Up To Racism.’

But the most interesting part of that chunk of BBC guff was a rather stunning absence of any detail…

….on the circumstances which led to him being charged with possession of a knife!

Who Told UK TV Presenter To Abandon Impartiality!

    Interesting, this.

If you flick over to Aljazeera to read this propaganda piece –

    – you’ll see below it a disclaimer, that the leftist bigot author’s views are his and do not (necessarily) reflect Aljazeera’s institutional viewpoint.

For an often offensive part of the media…

‘I AM NOT CHARLIE!’ Leaked Emails Expose AlJazeera’s Intolerant A-Hole!

‘Walls of Shame?’ Al Jazeera’s Shameless Bias On Show Again!

    …that’s mildly reassuring, I suppose.

Yet ironically, if you read the rant above their disclaimer, you learn that Sky News has coerced one of its presenters, a guy named David Jones, into retracting an almost identical disclaimer, which he had quite properly asserted –  after a whiner named Gary Neville had insulted the entire UK!

Specifically, Nasty Neville, an ex-soccer player, had bleated on Sky Sports, that “racism is an endemic problem not only in UK football, but in UK society at large – not least of all within the country’s dominant political parties.

    .

    .

That may or may not be true, but it certainly is contentious. I’m sure both ‘dominant’ parties would dispute it!

So David Jones was not only entitled but duty-bound, surely, “to add a disclaimer to Neville’s comments, saying that they were not the views of Sky Sports.”

When a visibly annoyed Neville asked whether or not he agreed, Jones responded: “Whether I do or I don’t is irrelevant. I’m here to try and hold a balanced debate.”

    https://www.itv.com/news/2019-12-23/david-jones-apologises-to-gary-neville-following-racism-row/

End of story, you’d think, unless Sky News took the next obvious step to uphold principles of impartiality and invited some more level-headed guest onto the show to refute the smear.

    .

    That’ll be the damn day!

Jones has since apologised, tweeting that he is “sorry to have spoiled … an important discussion on racism”.

    SPOILED?

In what possible way did Jones ‘spoil’ the discussion?

Because he didn’t go down on bended knee and kow-tow to the arrogant Neville, who has done pretty well for himself in the dreadfully racist UK?

So next time some uptight has a rant live on tv, defaming one or more political parties and/or the very fabric of British society, presenters must nod and simper…

    ..

    .

…and, not for even a nano-second, indicate that the opinions of the ranter might not be divinely inspired truths…

    .

    .

…not give the viewing millions even a hint that the chip on the ranter’s shoulder might be the ranter’s problem and not that of the society in which he has thrived?

    ‘Fair and balanced?’

If you’re watching Sky, watch out for flying pigs over head!

Jones’ original remark was quite appropriate. Neville was making a blatantly political point and abusing his guest status which was as a sports personality.
To start hammering away at British political parties, at British society, was wrong and not just because Neville is black but quite rich and quite famous, so Britain cannot be that bad a place for black people. Neville was in the wrong because it was Sky Sport.
Not Sky Politics. Not Sky Sociology.

When did that idiotic term ‘people of colour‘ come into vogue? I presume she means coloured people?’

    But that’s one thing.

What’s more important, and so utterly appalling, is the brazen complicity in her arrogant racism displayed by the organisers of the Halifax Pop Explosion, a ‘music festival’ in Nova Scotia.
