When I was a little lad on the farm in Perth County, Ontario, getting to church meant a half hour drive into town….

In the deep snows of winter this was not always practical, but on most summer Sundays, in we went.

Among the other congregants were a black family, and I’m pretty sure they were they only black people in town. Nobody referred to them as ‘black,’ of course.

‘Coloured’ was the fashionable term, had been for years, and remained so until ‘black’ became the trendy word. Exactly what the PC in-crowd currently dictates I’m not sure.

We often now hear the cumbersome, rather ridiculous ‘people of colour’ – it’ll be back to ‘coloured’ soon!

Anyway, the point of today’s trip down Memory Lane is the fact that in the Canada of the halcyon Diefenbaker Era…

An uptight bint at McGill University in Montreal wanted women-only sessions at the uni gym. The good news is that normal Canadians put up resistance!

An online petition entitled “We oppose women-only hours at the McGill Fitness Centre” has been started by a user identified as Concerned McGill Student. The petition, addressed to the McGill student union and to university administrators, aims to collect 300 signatures.

“All McGill students should be treated equally. Exclusive rights to the gym should not be granted to specific demographic groups. Women who refuse to use the gym when men are present make a choice that they alone are responsible for,” reads the petition.   McGill University gym women-only hours proposal causes uproar – Montreal – CBC News.

Her arrogance is such that she makes no effort to conceal her sectarian motivations…she  wears a hair covering and cites religious reasons for her preference.

As we hear from the left-libs all over Canada, the Dominion these days has no time for official recognition of religion. If she had advanced safety reasons, fear of molestation by male gymnasts, I’d certainly be prepared to listen to her case.

But given the shariah sexist thinking she cites, I’d say there are other countries where she might feel more at home!  Or a private gymnasium, if she and like-minded uptights care to hire it.

McGill facilities are there for every student to enjoy. How dare she demand special treatment because she subscribes to sexist dogma…though she quickly adduced specious nonsense to allay such criticism. 

“I feel like there are many women who have a variety of reasons for preferring to work out in a women-only environment. Whether it’s how comfortable they are, whether they have had bad experiences at the gym in the past, whether they have less access to the machines. A lot of women tell me they feel intimidated in the weights section,” said Allalou.

Intimidated? What, do big bad guys hog the weights? Push girls off machines? Surely not? If it happens, it’s wrong, but that’s a thing for management to sort out, not an excuse for shariah segregation!

But the best news, the cream on the Canadian cake, if you like, is that McGill is having none of her nonsense!

Boycott Sexist Saudi Airlines!

Good morning, readers everywhere!

Just been scanning the news and, whilst I am well beyond shock/horror, the latest declaration of barbarism by Saudi Arabia did take me somewhat aback. 

It seems their national airline is set to impose primitive shariah sexism on travellers, refusing to allow men and women to sit side by side if the passengers are not ‘close relatives!’

Well, we know the Saudis are steeped in Dark Age dim-wittery, but what are civilised countries going to do about this?

Heck, part of the fun of flying around the world is not knowing who you may end up sitting next to!

It could be that little gal pictured above – or not! 

But seriously…

If any outfit that does international business were to establish racial segregation as a rule, in their day-to-day commercial activities, as Saudi is establishing sex segregation on their airplanes, sanctions would surely be on Obama’s agenda, and probably Cameron’s, and just about any other heads of governments’.

It’s time for the International Air Transport Authority to ban these pathetic primitives from every airport in the world, until their flights drop this ‘gender apartheid’ – pardon me for using the sort of jargon left-libs adopt, but it has a certain resonance here !
