    Jennie BlackPink – Just Another Outbreak Of Aurat Outrage!

    Just a little light-hearted look at ‘aurat’ today.

    And how lighter one’s heart is at the sight of Jennie!

    Pretty Jenny, and uptights’ infantile censorship

    I owe a debt of thanks to WowKeren.com, which is run by people undoubtedly much more clever than the clowns at Google Translate, who, in response to my request, served this up

    Jennie BLACKPINK (Black Pink) recently took a photo shoot with ELLE. After the photos were released, fans felt Jennie was too sensual and indulged in a lot of genitals so they tried to cover it up… https://www.wowkeren.com/berita/tampil/00326428.html

    Honestly, ignoring the kooky English, and admittedly it’s difficult to render the uptight word ‘aurat’ into anything that makes sense…

    .

    .’Fathers, Husbands, Their ‘aurat’ is your responsibility!’

    ….can any of you normal folk see anything untoward about Jennie’s minimal cleavage or graceful legs?

    Sadly, numerous people here really believe that just about every part of a woman’s body should be covered, including not just ‘genitalia’ but mid-riffs, shoulders, knees etc.

    Yes, pathetic, yet if any girl likes to go out and about looking like The Michelin Man, okay.

    But the Dark Age notion that husbands and fathers dictate a gal’s dress-code…

    .

    .

    However, the delicious young Korean ladies who constitute the Black Pink girl-band do seem to bring out the backwards!

    Can’t call such freakin’ killjoys ‘fans!’

    Remember, a year or more ago!

    Meanwhile there’s minor stuff like a global pandemic and the marxist BLM revolt against civilisation going on.

    How can ANYONE waste time getting uptight about a cute little chick whose whole body looks great?!?

      My friends and me talk and laugh at this, how can anyone say Jenny is not nice to look at.
      Crazy fanatic men do not like women. It will not matter the women dress in ugly clothes or pretty like Jenny, fanatic men still want to be big boss.
      We should be free to show everything Jenny is showing. Men do not like women then no need look at women.

    Boob Ban Protest Ignores ‘Rape-Refugee’ Risk!

    A huge debate in Munich, about whether or not women should be free to sunbathe topless, at least during the current wonderful weather that Germany, and much of Europe, are enjoying.

    ====

    naked-lady-knees-up

    ===

    The RT report has evoked both wise and witty comments galore, some showing rational insights, such as that which suggested mandatory toplessness, to ensure no vests containing bombs strapped beneath clothing.

    Others, if parsed carefully, reveal an inordinately sybaritic working life!

    I worked there for 2 years about 20 yrs ago and on my walks always came across naked people sunbathing. Also from the office window we could see people walking around their gardens nude… https://www.rt.com/news/462747-topless-women-munich-debate/

    Most of the guys I know, German or otherwise, will share my enthusiasm for – ooops – sympathy with –  hot women who feel a need to minimise heatwave discomfort.

    But at the same time, we have to give sensible consideration to the concomitant risk to their safety, given the number of alien savages imported by Mama Stasi Merkel.

    =

    raperefug

    =

    Even women fully clothed and going about their day-to-day business have not been immune to the undesirable attentions of barbarous beasts…

    =

    …many of whom regard women as unable to think for themselves, unworthy of respect, mere creatures who must behave, and dress, as instructed by arrogant males.

    =

    aurat-mereka-dosa-anda-2

    ‘Fathers and husbands, their aurat is your responsibility!’

    =

    …and if backward bigots think that hair and knees and shoulders are to be hidden from normal people’s gaze, how dangerous might be the reaction of imported dark-agers to the sight of a pair of jutting German breasts?

    We have to recall that ignoramus in Australia….

    Australian Muslim leader compares uncovered women to exposed meat

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2006/oct/26/australia.marktran

    …who tried to explain molestation with the moronic assertion that-

    “If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside … without cover, and the cats come to eat it … whose fault is it, the cats’ or the uncovered meat’s? The uncovered meat is the problem…”

    We reported on drooling alien uppities in Bavaria before, several years ago…

    German Girls Forced Into Shariah Dress-Code By Sex-Pest Syrian Ingrates!

    But since then the full impact of Merkel’s treasonous green-light-to-crimmigrants has begun to be obvious…

    …except to those who won’t hear a word against illegals.

    So Munich’s women need to weigh up their options with all due diligence.

      A little bit of the real you visible in this, your ‘enthusiasm’ for ‘hot women’ which some of us couldn’t fail to notice in certain nefarious bars in South Jakarta. Your enthusiasm for happy hours ( and free beer in the Highway when that once upon a time was available) was also impressive.

      What many of us can’t quite square with your known ‘hobbies’ is the way you give so much support to the American ‘Christian Right.’

        Hello, BMV
        I rarely go down that area now, since I parted ways with the place where I worked, which was nearby – and esp since the Highway discontinued the free beer.
        I still go out at night and have never tired, and hope I never tire, of the company of girls ( I do call them ‘women’ sometimes but ‘girls’ upsets feminazis so I prefer that word) and I am not convinced that enjoying life precludes support for religious liberty.

    BlackPink OK – Thigh Panic Hits Indonesia!

    ‘The clothes do not even cover the thighs!’

    My apologies for not noticing the latest example of uptight indignation here in Indonesia, as my attention has (as might be expected) been focused on The Old Country’s beleaguered bid for independence.

    But I HAD noticed the cause of the new ‘petition war’ in this hot and mostly very agreeable archipelago where I’ve dwelt for almost exactly 20 years…

    =

    …as I was travelling from the Ground Floor to the Top Floor in a lift (aka elevator) in a Jakarta office building, with one of those built-in screens on which ads appear, appealing to their captive audiences to buy products or use services of various kinds.

    The ad that caught (and kept!) my attention was one for an ‘e-commerce’ business called ‘Shopee.’

    =

    Image result for shopee blackpink

    =

    …which featured absolutely delightful young ladies dressed immaculately in bright attractive clothes – clothes perfectly suitable for lovely lasses like those who comprise BlackPink!

    That’s the gals, above, and you can see for yourselves that the Korean girl-band are respectably clad, cute dresses which reveal nothing shocking, no bare bums, not a nipple in sight.

    BUT…

    ‘The clothes do not even cover the thighs!’

    For pity’s sakes!

    What is it about thighs, any thighs, not just the charming thighs visible in the ad, but any thighs (okay, I admit, my thighs are not inspirational) that gets uptights in a tizzy…such a terrible tizzy that there’s been a priggish petition launched, to get the Government of Indonesia to BAN the ad that features the Korean beauties?

     http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2018/12/10/of-legs-and-pancasila-two-petitions-battle-it-out-over-blackpink-ad

    Thighs are not always nice to look at – I’ll not inflict a pic of mine – but many are, not least the thighs of BlackPink!

    However, we can quickly suss out the true character of the objectionable petitioners by reading another part of the uptight outburst, viz.

    “A group of women wearing skimpy outfits. What kind of subconscious values do we want to instill in our children with this vulgar ad that flaunts aurat…”‘

    Aaah, the dreaded AURAT!

    The Jakarta Post helpfully translates the word as ‘intimate parts’ but of course thighs are not intimate parts, not to most of us.

    What the uptights mean by ‘intimate parts’ can best be illustrated by that wonderful kill-joy poster I often use…

    …with its poor little ‘Michelin Man’ lookalike girl, it’s pictorial message made repulsively clear with the sexist wording above and below it –

    ‘Fathers and Husbands..Their aurat are your responsibility!’

    No nonsense there about women getting to wear what they like, just a mediaeval mind-set on display.

    To be fair, there are similar cranky kill-joys in the Western world –Appeasing Uptights – Merkel’s Himmler Wants Ban On Sexy Ads! – and there are people here in Indonesia much more uptight than the anti-thigh brigade. Aceh’s Mad Mullah – ‘Dancing is EVIL – It Involves Body Movements!’

    However, happily, there’s a counter-petition on the go, urging the state censor NOT to ban the ad. The sensible petitioner’s initiator provides a refreshing response.

    “Open your mind. Be smart, people!”

    That petition had 27,000 fans when the JP report was published but today is up to 35,000, and rising. Yet the uptights have nearly 90,000 on theirs.

    I hope all my Indonesian readers take a stand against such backward forces.

    RIP Tara Farez! Target Of Evil Shot Dead

    We don’t yet know the exact circumstances but we know that sectarian bigots disliked her, to put it mildly, because she saw no reason to shroud her good looks, and express her opinions.

    The photo above shows how attractive she was, evidently no time for the offensively misdescribed ‘modest fashions‘ – a phrase which is an insult to every decent woman who dresses modestly but doesn’t get uptight about guys seeing her hair or her shoulders  – or her knees or any other part of her body blessed by her Maker with beauty.

    It may have been that Tara was murdered by a common criminal or a random psycho, but in the climate of hatred fostered by ‘aurat’ extremists…

    I see that Tara had taken to living much of the time in Kurdistan, where more civilised values prevail.

    I also see that even beauticians have been targeted in Iraq, two having died in mysterious circumstances in their respective homes. The beauticians’ deaths fostered concerns over militias and armed groups systematic targeting of beauty center owners.   http://www.kurdistan24.net/en/news/c1ddd610-007f-4716-a1db-b42b936307ad

      Sad but inevitable, when there is an entire culture devoted to keeping women down.
      It will produce men, if we can call them men, whose reaction to resistance by bright young women is murder.

    ‘Fesyen Modest!’ That Offensive ‘Modest’ Label Hits Jakarta!

    Good Indonesians Denounce ArchBigot Ali’s Latest Intolerant Outburst

    But aside from his nasty prejudices against Muslims who dissented from his own dogmatic doctrines, he could make people laugh too, with odd-ball rants like this – viz.

    The Beat, Jakarta, 29th March 2012 –  Indonesia’s powerful Religious Affairs minister, Suryadharma Ali, has declared that miniskirts are pornographic and should be banned under tough new anti-porn laws.

    Appointed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono earlier this month to run the new task force into pornography, Ali told reporters in Jakarta yesterday that a set of universal criteria must be decided. He added that, “one criteria will be when anyone is wearing a skirt above the knee.”

    -####################################

    Any normal person who reads such hogwash would laugh, because there is obviously nothing ‘pornographic’ about miniskirts, and in any event a lot of skirts that reveal knees are NOT miniskirts!

    But although such drivel is not heard from the current Religion Minister, who tends to be fairly rational in his statements, his predecessor’s offensive mind-set seems to be alive and well in today’s Jakarta.

      Evie is a narrow-minded hypocrite, isn’t she, pretending to be upset about the pretty MP showing a bit of leg on tv.
      Unsuitably dressed for the occasion because it wasn’t ‘appropriate?’ Come off it, luvvie!,
      We already know from her disapproval of beauty contests that it’s sexy looks anytime anyplace that really gets her pen moving fast and furious.

    Fear And Loathing of Knees In MaIaysia, Truly Arabia!

    I’m certainly not a fan of AirAsia, and won’t be until they stop trying to coerce passengers into eating their over-priced meals.

    =

    Hasil gambar untuk fried egg sandwiches l

    My home-made specialty -bacon and fried egg sandwiches!

    =

    It’s the height of arrogance to seek to confiscate any customer’s private property (i.e. sandwiches) before  allowing them the privilege of boarding their scheduled flight  – after all, they have paid hefty sums for valid tickets.

    However, needs must, and there’s a need to defend that airline’s stewardesses from sad-sack kill-joys in Malaysia’s legislature.

    Malaysia is  increasingly a country one wishes to avoid…

    Malaysia – Aged Scholar Hauled to Bigot Court

    Malaysia, Truly Arabia! Intolerance Rules Kuala Lumpur Court!

    …but most of the stories reported previously, like those in the above links, are of shocking sectarianism.

    Today’s, in contrast, is just ludicrous, but albeit with rather unwholesome overtones.

    ==================

    Abdullah Mat Yasim

    =

    I refer to the likes of Senator Abdullah Mat Yasim, who is a stalwart of the government party, UMNO.

    He has declared in Parliament that the fitted attire of AirAsia’s and Firefly’s female flight attendants can “arouse passengers..”

    What a pathetic old geezer, you say, as I do!

    But in that delightful photo, he doesn’t look THAT old, so how come he’s such a curmudgeon?

    =========

    ========

    One of the few agreeable aspects of air travel is the fact that ( except for Qantas, which seems unable to hire young sexy women ) the average air hostess is fairly yummy.

    Certainly, admiring them as they shimmy along back and forth does assuage nervousness among passengers who fear flying.

    And for sure it helps pass what is usually a tedious time in the air.

    =======

    Gambar terkait

    ==

    Behold the proof of what I write.

    Above, Air Asia girls, visual delights all, and below, some Firefly lasses, busy but equally easy on the eye, I hope you’d agree.  Actually, I’d never heard of Firefly, till yesterday, but no matter.

    ==, Hasil gambar untuk firefly air

    Poor old wowser Abdullah – what’s wrong with his uptight outlook on life that he can disapprove of those girls’ outfits?

    Nothing remotely naughty about them, unless one doesn’t like shapely females.

    Perhaps he’s one of the nutjob sort, the sorry sorts who think women should only venture out of doors looking like the Michelin Man..

    Gambar terkait

    …as illustrated in the infamous poster below?

    =====

    ‘fathers and husbands, their private parts are your responsibility!’

    =

    Aaah, but there’s one airline whose stewardesses do merit Abdullah’s approval, more or less.

    …the flight attendant uniforms of Malindo Air, a Malaysian-Indonesian budget carrier, were “acceptable….”

    More or less, I observe, because Ole Grumplestiltskin had to add that the uniforms are also body hugging but at least the “sensitive areas” are covered

    The clear implication of Abdullah’s asinine observation is that ‘sensitive areas’ of the AirAsia and Firefly girls above are UNcovered.

    Like, which sensitive areas are uncovered? Their faces? Their hands? Their hair?

    OR…have we stumbled on another case of…

    ‘Knee-ophobia?’

     In Sumatra, Knee-ophobia Rules! No Knees is GOOD Knees

    ==================

    No knees to be seen on Malindo!

    .Gambar terkait

    Pretty ladies, but over-dressed, one could argue!

    ======

    In case you reckon they broke the mould after Abdullah was created, get this!

    Abdullah was praised by the assembly’s deputy president Abdul Halim Abd Samad for highlighting the issue. “This is a good topic that many people can relate to as they always take flights

    And there’s another strange man been haranguing the senators, Megat Zulkarnain Omardin, who suggested that the airlines redesign the uniforms.

    =====

    Hasil gambar untuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin

    ======

    “My wife is worried whenever I fly alone on Malindo or AirAsia,” said Megat…”This is a real hassle for me,” he said, drawing laughter from other members of the Dewan Negara or Upper House of Parliament.

    Odd as a nine dollar bill!

    AND ANOTHER, the week before, Senator Hanafi Mamat from Kelantan, who came right out and confessed his sectarian motivation,  claiming attendants should wear “syariah-compliant” uniforms as Malaysia is an Islamic country.

    But what about the large non-Muslim minorities? Will Catholic, Protestant, Hindu and Buddhist attendants be allowed to dress like normal women, and will Hanafi’s “syariah-compliant” uniforms look like this…

    ..

    ….to ensure normal blokes will still want to use the airlines?

    All interesting questions, but how sad that such rubbish is even aired in a place meant for discussion of serious issues!

    Listen to Hanafi’s hogwash…

    Tourists might get the wrong impression of Malaysia if flight stewardesses dress up “sexily and disrespectfully!”

    http://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/airasia-firefly-stewardesses-uniforms-too-sexy-malaysian-mp

    Disrespectful to whom?

    Since when is being sexy the same as being disrespectful?

    But while we may shed a tear for Malaysia, it’s not the only country that is getting totally screwy about the babes in the skies.

    My own preference for the ideal air hostess outfit would be that worn by Zuhal Sengul, in this photo below…

    …I wonder whatever happened to her, after she lost her job for being gorgeous!

    … but the wearer is no longer in that line of business. Magnificent Zuhal got fired after some classy pictures were published online, which upset the mean-spirited management of Turkish Airlines.

    But what can one expect from the Land of Erdolf?

      I had to trawl back to find this you wrote a year and a half ago, after just hearing on the news that Branson has told his air hostesses they can wear trousers if they like, and no make-up.
      If the girls can stop being forced to look really sexy, will Bransom let them look more sexy if they like, micro-minis and fish-net tights?
      Any airline tries that, I will fly anywhere with them.

    So Saudi Women CAN Look Like Women!?!

    I guess we always suspected that the female population of Saudi Arabia included a lot of yummy chicks.

    =====

    =====

    It stands to reason that, beneath those repulsive shrouds they’re forced to wear, many are attractive.

    But proof positive at last!

    And it’s causing an uproar.

    Threats to prosecute the slender young gal in the photo below, named Khulood, it seems, for wearing an ‘indecent’ mini-skirt?!?!

    What Dark Age do these people live in?

    The Saudi writer Ibrahim al-Munayif told his 41,000 Twitter followers that if everyone disregarded the law in this way there would be chaos.  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jul/18/saudi-arabia-video-of-indecently-dressed-woman-at-heritage-site-prompts-investigation

    No, daftoid, there would be a glimmer of hope that your benighted country is at last becoming civilised!

    But then he makes a very interesting statement!

    ——–=

    “Just like we call on people to respect the laws of countries they travel to, people must also respect the laws of this country,” he wrote.

    ===========

    So what is Mr. al-Munayif telling ‘migrants’ from the Middle East, Pakistan, etc. who choose to settle in civilised Western countries?

    That they must repudiate the iniquitous shariah laws which treat women as second-class human beings?

    That Londoners, New Yorkers, normal folks in Toronto and Paris and Sydney, should no longer have their street scenes blighted by burka-clad bints wandering along, about three or four subjugated paces behind their men?

    If so, he’d be doing more than that lousy appeasement artist, Theresa May.

    =

    Theresa May hails ‘benefits’ of Sharia as inquiry set up

    But I doubt the sectarian sexists who oppress Saudi women really would encourage alien immigrants in the UK to accept civilised standards of behaviour.

    Even here in Indonesia….

    ……

    …..

    ….where many of its lovely women do behave like and look (very much!) like women, we have shariah fanatic outfits who wish to see women coerced by men.

    “Fathers and Husbands, their ‘aurat’ is your responsibility!”

    000000

    I imagine that kill-joy Welya woman from the MUI, the Indonesian ‘Scholars’ Council, has not changed her dismay at seeing lovely ladies unashamed to display their God-given femininity!

    —————————

    …the Aceh model is a good example…most importantly, wearing the hijab must meet three conditions. That it’s Shariah compliant, conceals the genitals and shows no curves

    ‘Scholars’ on Scarfs – ‘Must Be Shariah-Compliant, Hide Genitals, Show No Curves!’

    Of course she’s not actually talking about ‘genitals.’

    That’s the dumbo Google Translate interpretation of ‘aurat’ – a catch-all word for ‘private parts,’ which, to the backward brigade, includes thighs, belly-buttons, hair (of course) but even shoulders!

    Pathetic!

    But at least here in Jakarta, there’s no shariah gestapo harassing women whose delightful appearance might provoke primitive passions.

    Not yet.

    Late Start For Indonesia’s Valentine Kill-Joys!

    Heck, I’ve been waiting for the past week for the annual kill-joy chorus.

    Killjoys-

    Since the most fanatical elements in Indonesia are pre-occupied with the prosecution of Jakarta’s Governor Ahok for daring to quote a Koranic verse on the campaign trail…

    “We encourage the government to process the death penalty for Ahok as soon as possible…”.  http://www.suara.com/news/2016/10/14/134313/

    ‘All you need is love, tra-la-la!’

    ———

    …I had begun to think they’d not got the time and/or energy to pick on kids who like the harmless fun of St.Valentine’s Day.

    We had a jolly post last year, about attempts to provide a substitute for the scary ‘day of love…’

    -extract below-

    ………..=============

    Tolak (Reject) Valentine’s Day

    ==

    Boring!

    Hari Menutup Aurat International?

    Literal translation  – ‘International Day for Covering Aurat.’

    Aurat?

    A matter of interpretation.

    But Google Translate often gives it as ‘private parts’ – yet what normal, sane people regard as private parts has little to do with it, though no regrets for the fun afforded me when I wrote about “No Guarantees On Miss World’s Private Parts!” MUI

    Another common Google Translate offering is ‘genitals!’ Most of us would be taken aback if genitalia were on display, but that’s uncommon, to say the least, except in the smallest minds to be found in the archipelago.

    Genitals?…‘Scholars’ on Scarfs – ‘Must Be Shariah-Compliant, Hide Genitals, Show No Curves!’  .

    We can review what’s a private part in a moment, but first let me remind you – aurat is a sexist concept, a form of subjugation imposed by men, usually old but often younger fogeys too.

    The poster below, which needs to be widely circulated, makes the sexism absolutely clear.

    Addressed to ayah dan suami, fathers and husbands, you can see what’s  forbidden in the lists on either side of Michelin Maid.

    Then, at the bottom, it offensively tells the afore-mentioned gents that –

    ‘Their Aurat is Your Responsibility.’

    In other words, inspect your women before you allow them out!

    But you men can go bare-headed, flaunt your knees, etc…

    —————————-

    THAT was last year…or the year before, or the year before that…hard to keep track of the recurrent ranting.

    February 14th – ‘International Hide-The-Yummy-Bits Day!’

    oooooooooooooo

    oooooooooooooo

    But back to this year.

    West Java’s extremism rarely fails to appal (please use our ‘search’ facility) and sure enough, here’s the news from that sad Indonesian province.

    West Java Education Agency head Ahmad Hadadi signed the letter on the ban on Friday.

    Undoubtedly, no matter how outlandish the reasons…

    …the ban was part of the government’s efforts to build good moral character in students and prevent them from engaging in activities that contravened religious, social and cultural norms…

    ……..

    …West Java can issue such coercive diktats to the youngsters when they’re on school premises.
