    Mr. Gaynor’s Very Good Blog!

A very good bit of news I knew nothing about, until I rediscovered this patriotic Aussie guy’s blog.

The Army’s Pride Pins have been humbled

I had run across Mr. Gaynor’s gallant resistance to evil in the past….

Remove the Mufti, Not The Badge!

…but that was more than five years ago, so I’m delighted to read he’s still providing continuing insights into what’s being done to Oz and applaud his endeavours to fight back!

General Angus Talks Sense – And Gets Sniped At!

If I were a drinking man – which I am – I would hope to have the sense to get a Grab car home after a good night out….

    =

…or that my drinking buddies would insist on it!

    That’s what friends are for!

If I chose to walk home through deserted streets after midnight, then those who prowl deserted streets after midnight in hopes of easy prey might well decide that a guy on his own, drunk, or at least not entirely in command of his faculties, would be an object of interest.

It’s plain common sense. Avoid getting mugged.

I cannot, alas, classify myself as a ‘young attractive person…’

Defence chief General Angus Campbell criticised for warning young cadets against being out late to avoid sexual predators - ABC News

    ====

…so Australia’s General Angus Campbell did not have folks like me in mind when he wisely warned “young attractive people” to be aware of risk factors such as alcohol and being out and alone after midnight.

Again, it’s common sense – a pretty young girl on her own, staggering about quiet, night-dark streets is obviously at risk….

…from any malign sorts who happen to be – indeed, who tend to be – loitering around at such places and at such hours.

And yet some bint lashes out at him?

Chrystina Stanford from the Canberra Rape Crisis Centre said the comments were “dangerous” and “outdated.”

“It lends itself to victim blaming…”

    BOLLOCKS, BABE!

The general’s comments, if heeded, lend themselves to getting girls home safely.
