However, I’m more sanguine.

The same report describes how, in nearby Schleswig Holstein state, moves to ban such sectarian and misogynist maskng were frustrated by the Greens. Now it seems a re-think is taking place!

And equally welcome is a statement from the German Teachers’ Association.

What is truly shocking about the Swiss canton’s admirable action, however, is the slim majority by which it passed, a mere 57 to 55 vote on second reading.

Even Switzerland, it seems, has a large Enemy Within element among its own citizens!

As usual, liberal media hacks have expressed indignation, one local editor whining that it’s wrong for cops to have to make an “instant assessment” as to whether a person who covers their face is a threat. 

What’s wrong with that?

That’s what all civilised countries should be doing, and also looking at the sexist shairah aspect, the subjugation of women.

Just read in FPM about the evil ayatollahs in Iran, and their latest crack-down on women who have the temerity to want to look like women rather than black sacks.

The report tells of the arrest of eight women whose photographs were featured on Instagram. The models reportedly failed to adhere to stifling Islamic style dress codes rigorously enforced by Iran’s oppressive mullahs. More specifically, they posed without wearing religiously sanctioned head scarves designed to cover exposed hair.

An adult education centre in the northern Copenhagen suburb of Lyngby has told six female students that they can no longer attend classes unless they remove their niqabs, a veil worn by some Muslim women….

Ruling party Venstre and support parties the Conservatives and the Danish People’s Party also expressed support for VUC Lyngby, with the latter using the incident to repeat its demands for a national ban on burqas and niqabs.
