Florida Family Association sent out two email alerts which report that LeafFilter was a new leading advertiser at HuffPost.com.  LeafFilter started blocking emails of concern from the first alert that FFA subscribers were sending through the action email server.  Florida Family Association sent out a second alert that asked subscribers to send emails using embedded links that opened in each subscriber’s email client.  LeafFilter started blocking emails generated by the second alert based upon the wording in the subject line.  LeafFilter continued to advertise even after all the emails and blockings.  Florida Family Association changed the wording in the subject line of this alert’s prepared email which appears to clear LeafFilter’s filter.  That is not to say at some point in this campaign LeafFilter won’t start blocking the email to be sent in this alert based upon the new wording of the subject line.  PLEASE SEND THE NEW EMAIL!!

Many new advertisers conducted business with HuffPost.com after it was purchased by BuzzFeed in February 2021.  These new advertisers are likely companies that have been doing business with BuzzFeed.   Florida Family Association communicates with these companies before developing online campaigns that encourage them to stop supporting HuffPost’s hate inspiring propaganda. Thankfully, the overwhelming majority of companies do not advertise again after receiving emails from the Florida Family Association office regarding HuffPost’s propaganda.

The Florida Family Association office has sent numerous emails to encourage LeafFilter officialsto stop advertising at HuffPost.  However, Leaffilter continued to advertise.  LeafFilter certainly has the right to advertise in whatever forum it chooses.
