UK – Bruges Group Meeting 4/10

As the Bruges Group did sterling work for the Brexit cause, I happily pass on news of their meeting in Manchester – albeit the question which constitutes their topic –

Will conservatism wither in the Conservative Party?

    – strikes me as at least obsolescent.

    The Jellyfish…

…has pursued the same wretched left-liberal agenda as his rotten predecessors.

But by all means, go along, find kindred spirits and get to work on rescuing Britannia! .

    An Appeal From Lord Tebbit!

I’m not a member of The Bruges Group but I admire their commitment to the cause of British freedom.
    =============
    For a sovereign Brexit

The Bruges Group spearheaded the intellectual battle to win a vote to leave the EU and, above all, against the emergence of a centralised European state.

Lord Tebbit asks you to support the Bruges Group

Click here to donate to the Appeal

“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” – Winston S. Churchill

    Dear Supporter,

When the British people voted to leave the European Union in the historic referendum of 2016, many thought that this decision would be acted upon rapidly, and treated as binding. Yet, as the Bruges Group presciently observed, the fight had only just begun.

Despite the referendum result, the Government are attempting to present a Hobson’s choice of accepting a far from desirable “withdrawal” agreement leading to a faux Brexit or, now we are told from those in power, the alternative may be no Brexit at all. We reject this counsel of despair and will continue striving for the Brexit vision which won the referendum.

The failure of Project Fear, and Project Fear 2.0, shows that the British people do not like being bullied. A cursory understanding of this island’s history should show that we do not accept false choices, and as President of the Bruges Group, both this renowned organisation and I, will not start now.

We have a fight to prevent what is an ‘in name only Brexit’, which contains the worst aspects of federalism ever devised by the bureaucrats of Brussels and Berlin, that is no doubt designed to humble us economically and politically so that we can be slotted back into the EU at some future date. Or we are given the again false option of returning as full members of the very same organisation that we voted to leave 2 ½ years ago. Indeed, there is a major foreign funded and luvvie supported drive, a veritable fifth column, that has that very aim. It is a matter of great disappointment that this nefarious campaign has many supporters in both Houses of Parliament.

To see the benefits of Brexit, and to enjoy the fulfilment of what we have long worked for, I respectfully ask you to donate to the Bruges Group. For over three decades we have spearheaded the intellectual battle to win our freedom and we will continue to do so. In the long campaign to leave the EU, the Bruges Group has been the constant leading presence in this epic struggle. Just as Margaret Thatcher won her battle against red in tooth and claw socialism, the Bruges Group have guided this country towards a better future. This has never been so close to our grasp, but conversely this vision is now at its time of greatest peril since Tony Blair was in power.

Europhiles in the media and within Parliament are bringing mounting pressure to bear against our bid for democracy. We continue to hold firm and are pushing back to make sure that the Brexit that we voted for is delivered. Only with your continued support can the Bruges Group deliver the change that this country needs.

There is still a long way to go and any scenario is possible, and all eventualities are evenly probable. The Bruges Group is, however, well prepared for the intense and crucial campaigning ahead. I would like to ask if you will please give as generously again to the Bruges Group’s work, to support our vision and to join others in continuing to fight for Britain’s freedom, democracy and future prosperity. Please give generously to our mission, I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours faithfully,

Rt Hon. Lord Tebbit, CH, PC
    President of the Bruges Group

      Tebbit was brilliant.
All through his time in high office he always showed he was in tune with the way people thought.
It was tragic that the terrorists injured his wife so badly that he had to step back from proper politics.
I have heard good things sbout the Bruges Group and I am ready to work with any group st all that stands up to Brussels.

They (establishment and political elite) are getting their timing right as being in the EU now and through the WA (a completely fictitious construct), takes us into the 2020-2021 time frame when LISBON Treaty starts to require more compliance and submissions to EU control.
The WA is not required to leave the EU as it is a political deal, where the Trading Deal is negotiated during the transition period, just declare on WTO terms (as EU suggested and talk Trade), & ‘good bye’, as you know.
This is as well as the ongoing commitment to integrate UK military forces into the EU military forces exposed by Tony Woodcock.
But most importantly talk about the LISBON Treaty, as that dissolves the UK into Regions and a whole lot more, and we signed up to it 10 years ago. The Remainers and Press read your page too.
They are not scared of WTO, but they are not that interested either; but they will be scared of the Lisbon Treaty SO PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE. You do not need money unless you know Bill Gates very well, the pen is mightier than the ££
      Yours sincerely, David Cox

Armageddon UK – Defend Brexit Against The Enemies Of Democracy!

Armageddon may seem a little bit hyperbolic, but it isn’t, really.

It’s not even just about Brexit any longer but about a titanic clash over British democracy, an attempt by a decadent and traitorous ruling class to put the people down, by overturning the largest vote in UK history.

Everyone who cares has a duty to do everything he or she can to fight back.

    Here’s today’s war-cry.

     Email your Member of Parliament

    Stop the “withdrawal” agreement
    Prevent any delay to Brexit

Take part in the Bruges Group’s campaign to ask your MP to honour their promise.

Theresa May is trying to tie the UK into continued EU control. Britain is set to leave the EU at 11pm on Friday 29th March 2019. However, the Government may seek to delay Brexit, that is a key part of the strategy to reverse the referendum result.

Write to your Member of Parliament to ensure that we leave the European Union on time and tell them not to bind the UK into a Brexit in name only deal.

Please demand that your Member of Parliament honours the referendum result by not standing in the way of the UK leaving the European Union on Friday 29th March. And that they will not betray Brexit by approving Theresa May’s ‘withdrawal’ agreement.

Click here to email your MP
This will send an email to your MP to demand that they vote against any delay to Brexit and against the Brexit betrayal “withdrawal” agreement

Theresa May’s agreement is the worst deal in history.
The withdrawal agreement is not only unjustified but also not required. In the event of the UK’s departure from the EU without a withdrawal agreement the EU itself has put in place measures to keep trade open. These range from agreeing to equiveilance in financial services, access for hauliers, the continuation of flights, and the transport convention with the customs clearance declarations at the final county of destination meaning that trade can continue to cross borders.

These measures build upon and exceed other international agreements and world trade bodies that further ensure that there is simply no such thing as a ‘cliff edge’ nor a problem of ‘crashing out’. These are just pejorative terms for our national independence. Words designed to solicit a fearful response from members of the public in order to cajole them in to agreeing to scurrilous attempts to dispose of our self-government.

The Withdrawal Agreement is redundant and there is simply no good reason to delay, let alone reverse, our departure from the European Union. Project fear has no basis in theory let alone reality.

    Leaving the EU on 29th March 2019 with no withdrawal agreement means the UK can then decide whether to enter into other trade agreements on terms that are beneficial to the UK if we so decide. The benefits of leaving the EU and rejecting the ‘Withdrawal’ Agreement are;

    • 2016 referendum result will be respected and implemented
    • UK democracy restored
    • UK sovereignty restored
    • UK independence restored
    • UK fishing rights restored
    • UK can set own trade policy
    • UK can set own immigration policy
    • UK can negotiate and implement free trade agreements
    • UK laws set by UK Parliament
    • UK cases dealt with by UK courts
    • UK can control our immigration policy
    • The British taxpayer saves £39 billion
    • UK can reinvigorate good relations with the Commonwealth
    • Certainty
    • No more endless Brexit debates
