Public documents reveal that the Los Angeles Unified School District has been promoting “transgender theory” to K-12 students since 2021. The District recently held a panel of “queer 7th graders” at a conference that encouraged athletes to “come out.”

Gascon grotesquely disgracefully advised the family of a murder victim that they were not educated enough to stay quiet while he tried to talk at a small press conference.

We shall be looking soon at the brave patriots of Oregon, OFIR, who have won a battle for democracy, with a successful referendum petition. They gathered enough signatures to force the elitists to give every citizen a chance to vote on the scandalous ‘sanctuary’ laws so adored by the Media Democrat party there, and all over America.

But how about a bit further south, in California, where another, similar drive for people-power is under way.

One of the key figures behind the petition there is a man named Don Rosenberg.

Unlike many of those working with him, he has a deeply personal reason for his commitment to curb crimmigrant sanctuary in the Golden State. One of his sons was knocked down and killed by an illegal immigrant in 2010  –

To be precise, Mr. Rosenberg, is focusing on the scheme to grant crimmigrants driving license, which the left-liberal legislature approved a year or so ago.

But at least as important is his parallel plan to ‘prohibit automatic voter registration in the state, something Rosenberg thinks can help prevent voter fraud.’

All good stuff. We should cheer Don on.

Yet what is striking is the callous, and ever so slightly menacing, riposte from a far-left Los Angeles City Councilman called Gil Cedillo.

Cedillo dismisses the tragic death of Rosenberg’s son as ‘unfortunate.’

Then he swings into absolute hypocrisy.

“We must stop politicizing immigration issues for political gain, like we have done with DACA, DAPA and the separation of families.”

Oh yeah?

So the Media Democrat party does’t use crimmigrant issues to wage political war on President Trump?

But then…what are we to make of this ominous outburst?

“It is Mr. Rosenberg’s right to collect signatures for this initiative, but I advise him not to poke the hornet’s nest.”

We all know very well that poking a hornet’s nest is physically dangerous, even, on occasion, fatal, if enough of the nasty creatures retaliate.

Is there a suggestion here that larger nasty creatures, aka the illegal aliens who currently wallow in the protective embrace of liberals like Cedillo, might similarly retaliate?

Against what?

Against loyal Americans who merely wish to give the decent people of California their constitutional right to vote?

Is this how elites react when their disdain for common folk attracts democratic blow-back?

NB  Californian patriots have until December 19th to get the required number of signatures to put the measure to a referendum.
