    What’s Wrong With Chad?

Last week I had a whole day to do nothing, all by myself,, no welcome visitors, nobody to go hang out with, no parties, no nothing.

That was so unusual for me that I went to the movies…

….but that only accounted for about three hours, including travelling time, so I frittered away some of the rest of the day on pointless pastimes.

One of those was looking back through this blog, and I learned something mildly interesting.

Throughout the several years since we began, it has been viewed in EVERY country in the world – except one!

    What is it with Chad?

    Chad Country Map

The land-locked Saharan republic has even from time to time had a mention in my columns, including a complimentary mention, when I called Chad ‘sensible…’

….but still, not a single soul there has ever had a look at RRA.

Hence these few paragraphs, a reaching out to see if I can remedy the situation!

I’ll let you know if it works!

If your repulsive ‘blog’ is not read in Chad then that makes me consider, very seriously, spending my next vacation there.
This about Chad is possibly the only thing you have written for a long time that is not offensive in the extreme.

Hello? Harper, Cameron, Abbott? Learn from Chad’s Bag-Head Ban!

Now here’s a lesson that Canada, Australia and the UK could usefully learn…

    • burqa
    • ……………………
    • …from Muslim-majority Chad, as described in AlJazeera!
    • Like all three of Her Majesty’s realms, Chad has come under attack by Islamist savages, in their case the brutal Boko Haram beasts.

But UNLIKE the timorous leaderships in Ottawa, London and Canberra, the Chadians aren’t reluctant to take needful action.

“This attack just confirms that a ban on the full-face veil was justified,” national police spokesman Paul Manga said, adding that “it now must be respected more than ever by the entire population.”

“Anyone who does not obey the law will be automatically arrested and brought to justice,” he warned.  http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/07/chad-police-wearing-face-veils-arrested-150712143747203.html

We all know very well that the garb imposed on women by backward bigots lends itself all too readily to undesirable, anti-social activity.

“Very Tall Figure – Full Islamic Burka – Voted 3 Times!”

But of course it is not only on security grounds that this uglifying garment should be banned. It is grossly offensive to democratic principles that anyone should demand that women be confined behind shrouds while men are free to go about unshrouded.

If aliens wish to behave in benighted fashion this in their own lands, that’s their problem, till they haul their sorry asses into the modern world. As Canada at least has gone some way to recognising.

‘The Zero-Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act’ –Canada Tells It Like it Is!

CIVILISED  countries should NOT accommodate primitive customs that affront women’s rights – as the burka most certainly does.

Greenland and Chad – Unlikely Abstentionists!

So what is it with Greenland’s icy mountains and Chad’s sandy wastes?

Since this is the idlest day I’ve had in weeks, it seemed an interesting exercise to see which countries have viewed RRA the most, and which the least.

Indonesia, America, my most populous targets, were no surprise as front-runners, with Australia, Canada, the Old Country and Western Europe dominating the second tier.

The pre-blogging world – a much nicer place!

    • Every other land in the world has at least a handful – but not those two in my headline!

I wonder if putting their names at the top of this post will remedy that deficiency?

So today after what you said above, Chad is still holding out?
At least Greenland has fallen to your blog charms. I presume.
Curiosity makes me ask, how many countries do you reach in the average day?

      • ross1948 21:43 on December 2, 2018 Permalink | Reply

Yes, Noreen, we got Greenland on board a while ago. Chad remains obdurate.
Today so far we have had people in about 30 countries read the blog, but other days it can be twice that.
This week we had a sudden surge in India but it’s mostly a close run thing between Indonesia and America, with Brits in third place.
        Sundays are always slow.
        Have a nice week!
