What Are We Fighting For? Islamist Hate In ‘Liberated’ Iraq!

A very good article by Claire Evans of International Christian Concern has just been published.

The report describes how the new Ministry of Education curriculum there has been condemned by Iraq’s Christian leadership for ‘inaccurate, inappropriate and offensive statements that incite hatred and division…’

Reading on, I was moved to recall a horrible leftist song, by Country Joe and The Fish, brought out during the Vietnam Wart, and ask the same question those pinko nitwits asked – but this time, coherently, in respect of the continuing conflict in the Middle East…

Chaldean Church leader Cardinal Sako points out several glaring examples of ignorant sectarian prejudice, notably the moronic assertion in textbooks for elementary-age children that “the woman who is not covered (veiled) is sick.”

Image result for cardinal raphael sako

The Cardinal says about Iraq what I have often said about Indonesia.

“There are a lot of uncovered Muslim women. But they have good ethics and behave in a proper way and vice versa…”

I notice we have some new readers joining us, so I suppose it won’t go amiss to remind you that many civilised Muslims dissent strongly from the nitwit notion that women of their creed should be bullied into shariah dress codes by benighted male family members.

‘Fathers and Husbands..Their aurat are your responsibility!’

And for further reading, look at these previous posts.

It’s on the BBCBag-Head Bans Do Not Infringe Religious Liberty!

Fiery Islamists – ‘Head-Scarves NOT a Big Issue!’

It’s always important that we recognise that many, many Muslims hold civilised views, strikingly different from the sexist and sectarian nonsense exemplified by one notorious Jakarta fanatic…

IslamoNazi Gauleiter – “Women Already Have Limitations, Let Alone Non-Muslims!”

AND that while non-Muslims are undoubtedly and rightly offended by outrageously intolerant statements like that in the Iraqi curriculum, Muslim girls are also the victims, quite possibly a life-sentence.

Not all young ladies have the courage and sense of self-respect…

Darebin, Dustbin Of Democracy! Greens Warn Christians!

After our somewhat lengthy piece on the bigotry and bias faced by pro-decency campaigners in the Australian vote on homo-weddings…

Australia – Guardian Gaystapo Gal Gives Gag Guarantee!

…here’s another example of the intolerance of the gaystapo forces there….

…where a Melbourne-area local council has declared it will give free office space to same-sex marriage campaigners — while blacklisting opponents of marriage equality.

Seemingly, ghastly Greens rule on Darebin Council.

Their councillors are free to express their personal and party opinions, but how dare they aim to pervert municipal powers to issue a warning to local churches not to campaign against same-sex marriage?

AND just as bad, or maybe worse, they seek to give gaystapo agitators use of council facilities and services for free in the lead up to the postal plebiscite on same-sex marriage?

But….‘no’ campaigners will be barred from using council facilities, according to an urgent motion to be voted on next week!

    Darebin Council HQ

It’s sublime arrogance more reminiscent of 19th century Europe’s Holy Alliance, this squalid Green scheme to browbeat local churches and religious groups, to warn them of the “potentially harmful impacts of campaigning against marriage equality.”

I’d have thought churches etc. have a moral duty to campaign against debasing an institution the proposed change to which would have been laughed to scorn not that long ago.

Not so? So how come none of the ALP Prime Ministers up to and including the most recent ever put it on their election manifestos?

But it’s not just empathy with sexual aberrants that motivates these Greens.

    It’s a deep-rooted distaste for democracy!

Their Councillor Susan Rennie rants against giving Australians a vote.

The postal poll is a terrible idea, there’s no justification for it and it will make some people in our community feel unsafe and expose them to homophobia and discrimination!”

It’s democracy that’s unsafe with Rennie in any position of authority.

A postal ballot is not the ideal way – it should have been a proper plebiscite – a  referendum, but whose Senate votes prevented that going ahead?

Her Green comrades in Australia’s Upper House!

Green light for marriage postal vote

Rennie rejected suggestions the council was limiting free speech…

“… and just because people are free to express their views doesn’t mean council should deliver a platform for them,” she said.

    WRONG, Comrade Rennie!

YOU are not obliged to engage in fair play, NOR is your Green Party.

But a local authority SHOULD – and I would hope that some of the municipal electorate will be examining what legal steps they can take to prevent the Greens’ outrageous pretensions which are arguably ultra vires  – local authorities are constituted in order to expend local resources on LOCAL issues.

I never thought i would see the day when Christianity would be a persecuted faith in our Australia but that’s what happens when you put very intolerant people like Greens in power, even at the local level.

There must be something the good people in Dustbin ( I like that!) can do about this because local goverments have limited legal authority.
Are the Greens even allowed to waste public money by letting these ‘gays’ use council facilities without payments when anyone else would have to hire them. .

Was there not a scandal on the German Greens being in favor of legalising pedophilia not that long ago? I suppose they would call that ‘molestation equality?’
Wasn’t it the English Green party very recently wanted to have polyamory legalised, three-people ‘marriage?’

Will the Dustbin councillors be giving the same kind of support to those causes as they want to give to queer marriage campaigners?

Migrant Christian Converts Tormented – Do Mama Stasi’s Cops Care?

Many Indonesian Christians, still stunned by the draconian imprisonment of Jakarta Governor Ahok for daring to question the meaning of a Koranic verse – Slouching Towards Shariah, Indonesia Jails Ahok! – may at least hope for moral support from Western governments which like to prattle about ‘rights.’

But  let them not look for sympathy to Mama Stasi Merkel.

Intimidation of Christians is a matter of indifference to German police, according to a brand new report – from the left-liberal Deutsche Welle.

Paradoxically, the DW piece is all about people about whose ‘rights’ Fuhrerin Merkel has often affected concern, Mama’s ‘migrants!’

She imported a million so-called ‘refugees’  –  a nonsense, since they had all travelled through numerous safe and free countries to reach Germany, so were clearly mere economic migrants, or, worse, predators or even terrorists.

    Yet not all.

And now that some of them, safe from the vile intolerance that prevails in their homelands, want to take advantage of Germany’s religious liberty, they are subjected to persecution and harassment by evil aliens who refuse to recognise their basic right to worship God Almighty as they choose.

Hatred and violence against converts apparently abounds in German ‘migrant centres’ and DW tells us that in the past years there have been more and more reports about converts being attacked in Germany.

One pastor who ministers to many of these victims says –

“Right now we have five people with us who have been assaulted. One has lost some of his teeth and one of the others has a wound that had to be sewn up.”

Yes, but NOT as appalling as this!

The authorities, according to Martens, haven’t reacted. The security personnel are mostly on the side of the attackers…

…and even though the police are involved “they are not looking further into the matter.”

That’s a damned disgrace, though I won’t blame the rank-and-file officers – we know they are subjected to political diktats from a very high level.

Shocker – Honest Cop Unmasks Migrant Crime Cover-Up!

Not only should these Christians be protected.

Every single undesirable alien known to be involved in tormenting them should be locked up and deported ASAP.

    • ——-
    • It may be that there are Germans so pig-ignorant and satanic that they refuse to accept the right of any and every individual to convert to or from any religion have no place in a civilised country. I doubt it, but if so they need to be put somewhere safely under lock and key.

    • But if people have migrated to Germany bringing such demonic dogmas with them, then OUT they should go! The DW reporter correctly states that, in many uncivilised countries converts to Christianity are exposed to hostility  in Iran and Afghanistan they face religious persecution. In some instances they could be dealt the death penalty.

    • That’s a good reason for the strictest vetting of people coming from such sectarian hell-holes.

    • ………..
    • Hasil gambar untuk extreme vetting meme

Anyone suspected of adherence to an ideology that advocates killing of ‘apostates’ should be barred from entry, and, if discovered to have already entered, should be ear-marked for expulsion.

Remember, it’s not just a German Christian pastor who’s attesting to the brutal harassment –

“…the attacks are partly the other people of the same nationalities of the converts…

…but also “radical Muslims from different countries”

    – but the reporter from one of the most ultra-liberal media in Germany. He begins his report by saying that ‘thousands of refugees in Germany are converting from Islam to Christianity, although it could carry a huge personal risk for them.’

My natural curiosity made me look for more on this subject, to see if Islamist intolerance is at its wicked work elsewhere in Europe.

And who else should I find engaged in an impressive emulation of Pontius Pilate than that well-fed Euro-Commissar Comrade  Dimitri!

Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos answered to a parliamentary question on this issue saying that “the Commission is not aware of specific incidents of public incitement to violence or hatred or bias-motivated violence directed against Christian migrants housed in reception centres for asylum-seekers on the EU territory.”

Criminal prosecution of alleged manifestations of anti-Christian sentiment is a Member States’ competence: they –and not the EU- must monitor, investigate and prosecute bias-motivated criminal offences; but when this happens, the EU shouldn’t remain silent, as it doesn’t in other cases where the EU has no competence.

There are none so blind, or deaf…

But if you scan the same site, you’ll find that people who actually CARE about religious freedom in this context can provide examples not just n Germany, but also in the Netherlands, France and Sweden

The harassment of Christian refugees in European asylum centres

They should never let sharia get a toe-hold here. You just told us what they do when they get control like in Jakarta, and I wish our politicians would face up to it.

I feel quite sorry for you people from here living over there because you must like being in Indonesia and what is happening now must be heart-breaking. for the Indonesians naturally but also for you.
What is happening in Europe is also heart-breaking, the way we are insulted by these ungrateful brutes who come here to our country and expect us to adapt to them,
Somebody needs to stand up to them. Hungary is great but why must Hungary have to stand alone?

End Obamanoid Neo-Colonialism In The Caribbean!

Not often I look at the Caribbean, though I did spend a very pleasant time there, years ago, and that was when I belatedly learned to swim!

    Hasil gambar untuk caribbean

So I was interested in this article about ANOTHER task awaiting President Trump – ending Obama’s policy of pushing the gaystapo agenda in those sunny islands.

As you can read it all by yourselves, I offer just a few extracts to whet the appetite.

…Obama’s State Department, which seemed oblivious to any problem not preceded by the letters L-G-B-T…

The new occupant of the White House has said he does not like interfering in other countries. If that’s the case, Obama’s cultural imperialism – neo-colonialism if you like – should be scrapped, pronto.

No wonder that hundreds of pastors and church leaders are urging Donald Trump to chart a new course for U.S. relations — one that doesn’t include an obvious disrespect for other nations’ values.

It’s time, the Evangelical Association of the Caribbean writes, for the White House to stop using the State Department to impose their LGBT agenda on other countries.

..We refer specifically to the policies of the U.S. State Department and other government agencies involved in foreign policy that have undertaken to coerce our countries into accepting a mistaken version of marriage.

…the Obama administration, among others, has shown this to be so, as so-called ‘gay rights’ are pre-empting human rights, such as freedom of religion, freedom of expression, and freedom of conscience.

Read it all, especially the quote from Pastor Paul Mursalin

“We were coerced into accepting [the administration’s LGBT] agenda, threatening fund withdrawal and a number of other things. And our governments are under severe pressure to relent.

We now see a ray of hope under President Trump and Vice President Pence, where some of this can be reversed and give us a chance to maintain our traditional conservative Christian values on the issue.”

Disturbingly, despite the anguish of the people down there, it looks like, so far, draining the swamp does not seem to include getting rid of a full-time, taxpayer-funded, diplomat who openly identified as gay…

….whose sole purpose was forcing the president’s radical social agenda on reluctant countries.

So this LGBT Envoy, a certain Randy Berry, continues his deplorable work.

    Randy The ‘Gay!’

Keeping Berry only signals to the world that the extreme agenda of the Obama years is still deeply entrenched in the State Department.  http://www.frc.org/updatearticle/20170214/caribbean-tired

    Best to fire him!

I hope all you decent Americans who read my blog will make representations to the White House to this effect!

As Christmas Draws Nigh, Remember REAL Refugees!

By sheer coincidence, I have Deutsche Welle on this morning, and I see an ad for a new series they are doing, ‘The Last Prayer...’

… In Iraq, Christian minorities have been displaced by the murderers belonging to the so-called Islamic State. Syrian Christians are also fleeing war and upheaval, while those in Turkey have almost completely disappeared over the course of the 20th century. Although Egypt has the largest Christian community in the Arab world, the Copts enjoy scant protection in law.

West Java – Religious Freedom Still Stomped by Sectarian Bigots

I was thinking about going into the city centre today, but will postpone that plan till next week, because, according to my calculations,  the fortnightly open-air service beside Monas Park should next take place next Sunday.

I refer to the persecuted Christians of Bogor, West Java, who worship there, still persecuted, their church still sealed. So much for all that hogwash ‘hope’ heard, about the bright young ‘moderate’ Mayor Bima elected last year.

    bima-arya-sugiarto-ketua-dpp-pan  X-Rated Xmas – Foul-Mouths Bully Christians, As ‘Moderate’Mayor Denies They Exist!’

His disdain, or worse, for  the legal rights of these unlawfully downtrodden people – the Supreme Court ruled in favour of GKI Yasmin Church’s congregation to worship in their own building  – has taught many Indonesians, and observers overseas, never to take these so-called ‘moderates’ at face value.

    diani-budiarto Diani

Bima is no better than his predecessor, the fanatical Islamist Mayor Diani.

Metrotvnews.com reported last month on the oppressed Protestants’ plight, and thanks to Metro for doing so. Many other local media have been increasingly forgetful of this blight on Indonesia’s reputation.

The report quotes Yasmin’s spokesman, Bona Sigalingging, reminding us that not only the high court but also the Government Ombudsman long since ruled in favour of the victims of Bogor’s vindictive sectarianism.

    • Bona Sigalingging 2 Bona

Bona was speaking a few Sundays ago, in downtown Jakarta.

He and other oppressed minority creed members have been holding their services on alternate Sundays on the streets of Jakarta, usually opposite the President’s Palace, because President Jokowi like his predeccessor, SBY, has so far not seen fit to order enforcement of the high court ruling.

    • jokowi
    • ooooooooooooooo
    • The last time I went down there to join them, they even had a couple of Shia girls (one of them very pretty) also victims of Sunni Islamist intolerance. Muslim dissenters, members of the Ahmadiyah community, subjected to the infamously discriminatory Tri-Ministerial Decree, have similarly attended these open-air gatherings.

Many of us hoped that Jokowi’s inauguration would herald a restoration of religious liberty, in particular for Yasmin, and for that HKBP Filadelfia church in Bekasi, where fanatic scum pelted the Christians with dung and urine for the crime of trying to worship God on their own premises.

Jakarta’s Oppressed – Ascension Brass Band Worship! No Sewage, Urine This Year!

So far, Jokowi has not fulfilled our hopes.

Does anyone still think he will?

West Java’s Persecuted Christians – Freedom Hopes Loom!

Kompas reports that persecuted Christians here are hopeful at least one case may be resolved soon, with the imminent hand-over of power from President SBY to Jokowi, who has a significantly different track record on tolerance.

In Bogor, West Java, the Protestant GKI Yasmin congregation has been shamefully oppressed for years, denied access to their church, despite favourable rulings from both the Supreme Court and the National Ombudsman.

The local authorities, formerly under the fanatic Mayor Diani and currently under the so-called ‘moderate’ Mayor Bima, keep the house of worship sealed, and scenes of mayhem, with bussed in bigots from the GARIS lout outfit, whose leader recently declared himself the ISIS king-pin in Indonesia, have occurred.

The cops have been reduced to the role of referees between peaceful Christians and thuggish hoodlums. No order given to enforce the high court ruling, they stand disgraced in the eyes of Indonesia and the world.

For several years now, Yasmin and other victimised minorities have worshipped on the street, in downtown Jakarta (where I sometimes join them) right across from the Presidential Palace, praying and pleading for President SBY to lift a finger for freedom of religion.

That head of state ends his term of office next month.

So hopes of justice are rekindled.

And now Presidential Advisory Council Member, Albert Hasibuana, who has been trying his best for the Christians, has been to see the Religion Minister, Lukman. He, Lukman, had recently said and done some things to offer hope, after he replaced the dismal intolerant Suryadharma Ali.

Morning In Indonesia? Ray of Hope for Liberty, As Jokowi Waits to Win!

    main-lukman-hakim4 Lukman

But alas,  Lukman gave only a short answer about the solution of the central government over the GKI Yasmin case. He was evasive about confirmation whether the government will soon implement the Supreme Court decision.

Well, he probably won’t have long to reconsider his evasive answers.

    jokowi-twitter Jokowi

President-Elect Jokowi is due to announce a new Cabinet, and unless Lukman gets real on tolerance for Christians, we could be seeing a new Minister for Religious Affairs – although frankly such a Ministry must be an anachronism in a modern state like Indonesia, which guarantees the right to worship in its constitution.

Religion should be something people observe in their own time.

School prayers okay, as the great majority of parents want, but state intervention, especially state subsidies to fanatics like the MUI, which continues to issue fatuous fatwas…

Islamist ‘Scholars’ – “Don’t Complain if You’re Attacked!”

… ought surely to be confined to ensuring all creeds are free to worship peacefully.

Presidential Advisory Council Member, Albert Hasibuan

    Anyway, Albert is hopeful.

And so should we all be!
