‘Peace’ is generally regarded as the opposite of ‘war,’ and whilst it could be argued that the crimmigrants’ violence, vandalism and arson during their riot on Christmas Island could be construed as waging war on their benefactors, Burnside has rarely, if ever, called on his precious parasites to cease and desist from their malicious mayhem.
I’d like to know who served on the Sydney Peace Prize Jury that chose this richie-rich ratbag, but I suspect its members, too, are equally unrepresentative of real Australian society. And also hostile to the democratically approved policy of the Government of Australia.
It’s a politically-motivated manoeuvre, not a principled decision we have witnessed.
However, let’s stick to ignoramus Burnside.
Ignoramus? A man with a law degree? How dare I say such a thing? Well, I’m sure he knows about every single legal loophole that can be exploited to facilitate boat-bludgers’ entry into countries that don’t want them.
But it’s his Aussie modern history that worries me.
He only yesterday was reported as praising Gough Whitlam, as a starry contrast to today’s Australian leadership.
Whitlam was a colossus but a survey of today’s political landscape shows we are led by midgets.
I’m not going to speak ill of Whitlam here, as he was only buried recently.
But what is indisputable was his visceral hostility to refugees. Anyone seeking refuge from Communist torment after the Fall of Saigon was NOT welcome as far as GW was concerned.

So how come Burnside has such a high opinion of the late Labor figure? Does he not know of the man’s record on REAL refugees? Or does he himself limit the scope of his sympathy to people fleeing any evil EXCEPT marxist tyranny?

That flies in the face of the facts, the ridiculous largesse, the free board and lodging, which the crimmigrants get handed on a plate. Even when their criminality is no longer in dispute, like that Pakistani charged with molesting Sydney girls on whom we posted this week.
