Just getting ready to go out, a party tonight, my first since my return from Australia. But last night I watched a ranting leftist given a platform to spew his bile. It was on DW’s English Language TV, some pinko named Kon Karapanagiotidis.

The Kon man
—————————–
But he’s not German!
He’s Australian, the big boss of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, a notorious agitprop outfit.
Why Deutsche Welle feels entitled to hand this rabid leftist a megaphone, God knows.

They provided no such time or space for any Oz government minister to counter Kon’s caterwauling, nor for the reasoning applied by the court in Oz which has approved that government’s ‘asylum’ policies.
Blatant leftist bias. Though The Kon Man let slip that the sensible policies upheld by unusually sensible judges arose for the purposes of ‘vote-winning!’ He dismissed the electorate’s preferences as due to ‘ignorance,’ his contempt for democracy quite breath-taking!
Adding insult to injury, DW told us that another treat was coming up soon on their news programme, ‘refugees’ telling their own story by means of photos from their mobil phones.

‘Refugees’taking a break from using smart phones
————
I didn’t bother watching that guff, propaganda pure and simple, with little chance they’d highlight the really interesting stuff found on ‘refugee’ cameras , like ISIS slogans etc.
According to Norway’s VG newspaper, Norway’s Police Security Service (PST) has received hundreds of tip offs from immigration officers about asylum seekers with potential terror sympathies. Norway refugees had Isis beheadings on phones
Still, I doubt my Aussie readers will give a tinker’s cuss about the rotten bias on a German network. They have, after all, the ABC’s bitter leftism to keep them incensed.

And in how the court news, which involves prevention of any antipodean outbreak of the insane ‘anchor babies’ phenomenon which plagues America, has been handled by the ABC in typical fashion.
The questions the ABC did not ask: which pedophiles raped these children? Are they boat people, too?

Of course, the ABC has been giving it heaps of attention, but thanks be for the honest media in Oz, in which ABC’s slipshod ‘journalism’ has been exposed. I prefer to let you use the link for the whole story, but the following is well worth reading.
HANSANTHA GUNASEKERA, PAEDIATRICIAN: Across the detention network there’s a report of a sexual assault every 13 days. Most of those are children
Among the obvious questions not asked:
– Who raped these children? Are the alleged rapists and pedophiles other detainees? What guarantees do we have that they will never, never come to Australia?
- Does the high level of alleged sexual attacks on children apparently by detainees reflect different cultural attitudes, and what implications does that have for refugee policy?
- Why haven’t the children or their parents ended their detention simply by going back home? How many are genuinely in fear of their lives if they return, and how many are economic refugees?
- Under what circumstances were the art works by the children produced? Are they authentic expressions of distress or were the children coached to produce them to increase pressure on the government to let in the detainees? Why did the handwriting on some of the childish pictures look adult?
- What would be the consequences of letting in the children? Would that encourage more parents to load their children onto boats to Australia, and how many would drown?
- What ages were the “children” interviewed last night? What effort was made to check the circumstances under which they came?
The bare facts or assertions presented last night are indeed troubling. But this report was so one-sided that it simply cannot be taken seriously as a contribution to a debate over a very difficult issue.
UPDATE
Not included in the ABC report:
Nauru police commissioner Corey Caleb rejected the reports, claiming “refugees regularly fabricate allegations of assault and sexual assault”.
In statement released on Tuesday, Commissioner Caleb lambasted “friendly Australian journalists who have a political agenda” for publicising the “lies”.“They tell us they have been assaulted but their stories seldom add up,” he said.
He accused journalists of encouraging false reporting, adding that the refugees would be charged with making a false complaint had the allegation been made in Australia.
Note that Caleb’s statement was released yesterday, presumably before the 7.30 report was aired. http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/the_questions_the_abc_did_not_ask_which_pedophiles_raped_these_children_ .
The same evasion is clear in the recent controversial report by Human Rights Commission president Gillian Triggs.
Triggs presented only two vague anecdotes from the 33 cases she alleged of alleged sexual abuse. One involved a cleaner allegedly grabbing a 16-year-old boy. The other was more serious: “An eight-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by adult detainees.”
Yet Triggs did not conclude this indicated the danger of such detainees but “the danger of the detention environment” instead. http://blogs.news.com.au/heraldsun/andrewbolt/index.php/heraldsun/comments/the_questions_the_abc_did_not_ask_which_pedophiles_raped_these_children_. ——————————
Typical of this bizarre woman whose leftist animus against Australia we have covered before.
And typical of ABC and all the other running-dog hacks in politics and the media to show total indifference to the grave risk to Australian women and children from ‘asylum’ predators, a menace already ravaging Germany, thanks to Mama Stasi Merkel.
As the article we’ve quoted from ends…
Really? Aren’t our children owed more honesty before we open the detention centre doors?
What else are you not being told?

A useful reminder, next time somebody gets a mouthful of sanctimonious abuse from a walking letter-box, as Bojo used to call them before he went woke!
