De-Select ‘Blubby’ May! Solidarity With Ulster!

Some Conservative backbenchers plan to object to the legislation, however, on the basis that it breaches the rule of law....

That includes an erstwhile Remainer loud-mouth…

    ooooo

Official portrait of Simon Hoare (cropped).jpg

    OOO

…whose empathy with undesirables we have noted before….

Nothing Lower Than A Tory Hoare?

…yes, ITMA, Simon Hoare, the chair of the Northern Ireland select committee –

Respect for the rule of law runs deep in our Tory veins. I find it extraordinary that a Tory government needs to be reminded of that.” https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jun/27/boris-johnson-northern-ireland-protocol-bill-vote-brexit

    Time for deselection!

But not just for that Hoare, who seems to have forgotten that the UK is a sovereign realm, that sovereignty means British laws are made in Britain, are supreme in Britain..

    .

    …..

…and can be unmade in Britain.

Today we read that Theresa ‘Blubby’ May, a dreadful politician in matters not just of Brexit but of the personal safety of British people….

    .

….as well as of national security – and BTW, she’s a big fan of shariah law…

    .

    .

….has inserted her haggard countenance into the debate.

Speaking in the Commons, Theresa May told MPs that the government’s proposals to modify the Northern Ireland protocol would ‘diminish’ the UK’s standing in the world and she ‘cannot support it’.

The bill proposed by the government, she said, is not ‘legal in international law‘.  https://www.theguardian.com/politics/video/2022/jun/27/theresa-may-northern-ireland-protocol-bill-will-diminish-uk-in-eyes-of-the-world-video

Jellyfish Johnson was wrong to sign off on that Protocol pact, but whatever his reasons for re-think, and they are likely very different from my reasoning…

    .

    .

…any effort to remedy the dirty deal, by using normal parliamentary process, aka UK LAW, merits support, not a rabid rant like May’s.

Both Mr. Hoare and Mrs. Haggard deserve to be deselected by their constituency associations.

    .

I have no idea what kind of people constitute Tory Party membership in Knight’s Solihull constituency, but they should start the removal process ASAP.

Jellyfish Johnson too should disown his ranting…

    .

..unlikely, alas, given how Bojo’s at ease with woke weaselry.

Otherwise, one hopes, in the next election, he’ll face an opponent, perhaps from Reform UK…

Tory Axe Hovers Over Democratic Deselection!

After our denunciation of the Tory elite the other day…

…one sometime leading member of that effete in-crowd has owned up to how the party bosses don’t hesitate to crush democracy when the grass-roots members dare defy the nabobs.

    We heard from another super-rich Remainer, Cast-Iron Cameron’s comrade-in-arms…

How many times have the stuck-ups stomped party democracy?

I had never seen him before, just read wbout him. An unimpressive person.
I thought the funniest part was when he turned to walk out and some plaintive little Tory called after him, ‘Nick, don’t go!’

Tory Democracy? Kidding, Right? Tory Jackboot, More Like!

Meanwhile, the Conservative party chairman Brandon Lewis gave his backing to Grieve and said the association vote against him had no formal standing under party rules…

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/mar/30/grieve-accuses-ex-ukip-opponent-of-insurgency-after-confidence-vote-loss

So much for the Conservative Party’s pretended interest in democracy.

    =

    ==

May’s flunkey Brandon Lewis MP makes it crystal clear!

A properly constituted motion, ruled in order for debate, passed by a very clear majority…

    .

    =

…by fully-paid-up members of Beaconsfield Conservative Association, has ‘NO STANDING’ if it upsets the arrogant Tory elite who think that they, not the rank-and-file, own the party.

That’s irrefutable evidence of what we said earlier  this weekend.

May wants Grieve and all the other collaborationist ‘Conservatives’ left unhindered by democratic action in their various constituencies, left in peace to focus their malevolent attentions on their war on British independence.Don’t Grieve For That Remainer Millionaire!

You should read that Guardian piece – the quote we use at the top of our page is the key, but the way their sycophant hacks who wrote it doff their humble caps to a Brexit-hating toff is hilarious – the pro-Grieve puke is deferentially described as…

    =

    ‘a distinguished man…’

…who is then provided with a platform to insult the people who voted Grieve out as ‘loud-mouthed yobs!’

But this is a serious matter, nonetheless. The Tory ruling clique are plainly not going to let party democracy prevail…

    =

    Image result for dangerous democracy

…if they can possibly prevail against the deselection revolt, they will.

Months ago, I expressed my grave doubts about the efficacy of Leave.EU’s strategy of mobilising patriots in the constituencies of Tory ratbags to join the local Conservative Association.

    I’ve explained my scepticism already.

Save Brexit By Infiltrating Tories? What Do YOU Think?

But I wished them well in their endeavour.

Now we see that simply following constituency rules might be insufficient to purge the Europhiliacs.

More good reasons to destroy the Conservative Party and bring on Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party?

Pamela and Ross – your experience matches mine.
I knew a few of the local Tories where I used to live, not the neighbours who voted Tory but the local ‘dignitaries’ who walked the MP round the streets when an election was on. They took it in turns to be mayor or were on the county council, drove fancy cars and looked very uneasy in our modest little neighbourhood.
That was the only time we ever saw them, then they would go back to their big Tudor mansions till the next time.
They were useless, in the true meaning of that word, but they could always be seen at public events, self-satisfied looks on their faces.
A lot of people laughed at them behind their backs.

A good thing too, because he is one of the most bitter Europhiliacs in the House of Commons.

But plenty of worthless wallies at Westminster are weeping and wailing on the ratbag’s behalf.

These parliamentarians seem to regard it as shocking that mere commoners dare suggest upper-crust arrogants like Grieve – reported to be worth 3,000,000 pounds sterling ten years ago…

It is VERY telling, about Theresa the Appeaser’s true feelings towards the Brussels Empire, that she has urged a ‘Hands Off Remainiac Rats’ policy on her party’s rank and file.

May’s Malevolent Mafia Stomps Party Democracy!

… and we may rest assured none of these dirty tricks would be in play without May’s approval and authority.

When the Commons votes this week, voting that could precipitate her downfall, feel not the slightest sympathy for the Remainer in Number Ten!

    oooo

    Dear Supporter,
Conservative Campaign Headquarters are desperate. The launch last week of our AGM drive within our wider deselection campaign received a sensational response. No confidence motions against sitting pro-Remain MPs have been filling local association letterboxes across the land.

Knowing that if allowed onto the agenda, the majority of these motions would pass at general meetings taking place this month, CCHQ is using underhand tactics to reject proposals. The party machine is exposing its despotic hierarchy, which is completely misaligned with the grassroots.

HELP RESCUE THE REFERENDUM | DONATE TO LEAVE.EU
In Dominic Grieve’s Beaconsfield seat, John Strafford, chairman of the grassroots Campaign for Conservative Democracy, had his motion rejected on the grounds his membership had lapsed. Mr Strafford had not been sent a renewal notice in January as he has for each of the past 56 years. In sneakily and not so subtly neglecting to ask him to pay his annual fees, CCHQ timed out Strafford’s membership, rendering his no-confidence motion void.
Industrious deselection campaigners in Bracknell, Eurofanatic Phillip Lee’s constituency, have discovered that the Party Director General has drafted suspicious new guidance, issued to association chairman trying to find a way of invalidating no-confidence motions.

The new rules have given collaborating local party chairmen all the excuse they need to reject letters sent in over the past two weeks. Any motion tabled later than 21 days before the annual meeting will not make it onto the agenda we’re now told. Bizarre, since the Party constitution states notice of annual general meetings must also be given at least 21 days prior.

How on earth are members supposed to get their motions in if they don’t know when the annual meeting is even happening? Under the guidance, as soon as they’re informed, it’s automatically too late to add items to the agenda. This is the type of political engineering comrade Stalin would have been proud of. Red stars all round.

The isolated upper echelons can only stem the tide for so long. We’ve received thousands of emails from outraged activists agitating for their anti-Brexit MPs to be shoved out. They have the party constitution on their side. It cannot be subverted by new made-up rules, it’s also very clear on how to call a special general meeting via a petition of 50 signatures – usually less – in order to table a motion of no confidence. We encourage you to find out more on our deselection page.

Nevertheless, AGMs still represent an immense opportunity to humiliate CCHQ’s accomplices. Comically, the Beaconsfield association has allowed a motion “expressing its full confidence in the Rt. Hon. Dominic Grieve QC MP” to make its way onto the agenda. Strafford suggests the motion be moved to replace “its full” with “no”.

HELP RESCUE THE REFERENDUM | DONATE TO LEAVE.EU
So if you’re a Tory Party Member sick to the teeth with your MP’s obstructionist antics, get down to your upcoming general meeting (find dates and locations here) and pile on the pressure. It will also be a great opportunity to get momentum going behind a deselection campaign via an SGM.

As always, we’re looking for participants. Remember, you need to have been a member of the Conservative Party for at least three months in a seat represented by a pro-Remain Tory MP. If those two criteria apply to you and you haven’t volunteered already, drop us an email. We’d love to hear from you.

Spelman Next Target? All Aboard Deselection Express!

I hope all the Brits overseas who cannot physically participate in the delightful deselection campaign described below will at least seend a donation to Leave EU.

    They’re doing an excellent job.

Pleasing to see the patriots are now going after that repulsive Spelman…

    https://wordpress.com/post/rossrightangle.wordpress.com/111218

….whom we spotlighted a little while ago.

Here’s the entire Leave EU bulletin for you to enjoy with your Sunday British Breakfast, if you are ‘back in Blighty’ – or with a sun-downer, if you are here in Jakarta.

More heads are about to roll after Leave.EU’s AGM initiative got off to a ruthlessly effective start this week. The response to this initiative, part of our deselection campaign, to put forward motions of no confidence in the sitting MP at Conservative Party annual general meetings has been overwhelming. Already, we’re poised to win another big scalp after slaying Anna Soubry, Sarah Wollaston and Heidi Allen last week.
HELP RESCUE THE REFERENDUM | DONATE TO LEAVE.EU
Yesterday, we learned supporters of Caroline Spelman in Meriden have been plotting to finalise the agenda for their upcoming AGM and close out any chance for Conservative activists to get her booted out.

Within 24 hours, a letter had been sent to the branch chairman for a no-confidence vote. Hopefully, she’s on her way out. This afternoon, two Leave.EU supporters in Rugby got in touch with us to say they will shortly deliver their MP, Mark Pawsey his P45. If you’re about to send in your letter, get in touch with usand we’ll support you in any way we can.

Meanwhile – petitions, the other deselection route – are growing at a rapid rate. Eurofanatic MPs Dominic Grieve, Philip Lee, Sam Gyimah, Antoinette Sandbach and Jo Johnson are all about to be summoned to a Special General Meeting where activists will vote on no-confidence motions. Simon Hoare and David Gauke will soon receive notices. Nasty Nick Boles has already been read the riot act by his members.

Ex-defence secretary Michael Fallon is another who has lost the trust of local members after the Sevenoaks Conservative Association chair walked out in disgust at his continuous attempts to block Brexit.

Following Mrs May’s abominable decision to hand control of withdrawal over to Parliament, along with Jeremy Corbyn’s predictably pathetic second referendum pledge, we are faced with either a very bad Brexit or none at all.

If MPs are allowed free rein to side with either of these dreadful options, we will have been well and truly betrayed. Which is why our deselection initiative is so important. We need to put the frighteners on our shoddy representatives.

So join our campaign to stick two fingers up at your local Remainer MP.

LEAVE.EU’S DESELECTION CAMPAIGN | LEARN MORE
There are two ways of getting rid of your MP via a motion of no-confidence: a petition and special general meeting or by simply adding the motion at your upcoming AGM.

Before participating, please note that you need to:

    • Have been a member of the Conservative Party for at least three months
    • Live in a Tory-held constituency. We are only targeting MPs who are assisting with Theresa May’s Brexit strategy and those attempting to sabotage it altogether.

If these criteria don’t apply to you, we encourage you to make a donation to support our expanding operation.

    Annual General Meeting
This process is the simplest. All you need to do is send a letter (we’ve prepared a template for you here). Print off two copies. One to send to your association chairman, the other is for your local party secretary. Ensure both copies are filled out appropriately (blank fields contain instructions in red), signed by the proposer and seconder and sent via recorded delivery. The Chairman will publish the agenda seven days in advance of the meeting so get your letters in soon. Click here to find out the date and location of your AGM. If you can’t find details, contact your association.
    Special General Meeting
Outside of an AGM, you can bring about a special general meeting by compiling 50 signatures or the equivalent of 10% of the local membership. So long as you pass one of these two thresholds, you will trigger an SGM, at which the no confidence motion will be held.If you’re interested in arranging an SGM, ensure to check our deselection page and get in touch with us. We’ll then help you to build your network to ensure you get enough signatures.Time is of the essence. In 11 days’ time, Mrs May’s deal will be put to Parliament a second time. It will most likely fail, paving the way for yet more delays. The time to strike is now. Please support our campaign.

    Kind regards,
    The Leave.EU Team

Leave EU are doing a lot but we have to wait and see how many deselections are achieved.
I am not at all sure whether that Soubry ran away from her local party’s angry members or felt she preferred being a big fish in the small ‘Independent Group’ pond.
If Boles and Spelman and a few others are deselected, then I will be very happy to congratulate Leave EU and I have sent them a small donation.
However, let’s not count chickens, etc.

As Treasonous Commons Readies To Pervert Democracy…

Looks like I will be obliged to keep my promise to return to The Old Country, if Blood-Beast Adams’ comrade coerces the electorate back to the ballot box…

    .

    adamscorbyn

    .

….as part of the ruling class’s attempt to subvert the democratic decision of the British people.

    So much for Labour.

Meanwhile as regards the Tories, here’s another call to arms from Leave EU.

    Dear Supporter,
The Conservative Party AGM season is upon us. The Party’s National Convention met this weekend and passed a motion in favour of EU withdrawal regardless of whether there’s a deal or not. Compare that to the powerful pro-Remain forces in Parliament trying as hard as ever to extend negotiations with the long-term goal of blocking Brexit. The quality of our representation is truly pitiful.

The Government is now in on the delay tactics after a group of nearly 25 ministers, including four members of the cabinet, threatened to back Labour MP Yvette Cooper’s amendment. Around 100 Tory MPs agree with them.

May has succumbed. Papers circulated over the weekend by Downing Street reveal plans for a two-month extension if the Withdrawal Agreement is voted down a second time. The EU is asking for two years.

Leave.EU’s deselection campaign is as vital as ever. Parliament is increasingly behaving as if the Referendum never happened. The approaching AGMs in local associations across the country offer a tremendous opportunity to bring the elites of the Conservative Party down a peg and put Brexit back on its right and proper trajectory.

Since launching last month, we’ve had an immense response to our campaign, which has focused around getting local activists to amass enough signatures from fellow members to force through a special general meeting of the local association in order to table a no-confidence motion against the sitting MP. An AGM cuts out the need for petitions, providing a direct route to giving MPs their marching orders.

So long as you’ve been a party member for three months or more you’ll be able to send a letter to your association chairman and secretary requesting a no-confidence motion gets added to the forthcoming AGM’s agenda.

EMAIL US TO DESELECT YOUR PRO-REMAIN TORY MP
LEAVE.EU’S DESELECTION CAMPAIGN | LEARN MORE
Association chairmen are required to provide notice of annual general meetings at least twenty-one days in advance. They will release the final agenda seven days before the date of the meeting so you have a window of around fourteen days to get your letter in.

You must ensure that it is signed and seconded by another member of at least three months standing. We recommend you send it via recorded delivery. Thereafter, you only need to drum up support among your friends in the party to ensure a decent turnout and hopefully get the right result.

Click here to visit our deselection page. Near the bottom, you’ll find a list of upcoming Conservative Association AGMs. If you don’t see yours, ensure to keep an eye out for an email or letter from your chairman. Better still, get in touch with your local association to find out when and where. You can find contact details by entering your postcode in the bottom left-hand corner of this page on the Conservative Party website.

At this critical juncture, we have an amazing opportunity to strike a lethal blow against a swathe of MPs in one fell swoop. Contact your associations and get your letters in.

    Kind regards,
    The Leave.EU Team

Your description of Corbyn is perfect, Vanessa, and if anyone disputes it, look at how he has taken up the case of that Islamist fiend Begum, whom he wants to let back into the Britain she wants to destroy. He even says she needs ‘support’ when she gets back.
The only support she deserves is that involving a piece of rope to support her while she hangs by the neck until dead.
The only prospect of that happening is if she is kept in the Middle East, as Ross has suggested.

An Important Call To Arms from LeaveEU!

    Treason is a strong word.

But the betrayal of democracy by Westminster Europhiliacs, with the collaboration of Slimy Speaker Bercow, surely merits that description.

Leave EU has issued this action alert and I am happy to pass it on.

    Dear Supporter,

Our withdrawal from the European Union has reached a critical stage. MPs are breaking every constitutional convention, rule and tradition to thwart a sovereign Brexit mandated directly by the people. Letters have been flooding into Tory associations calling for deselections. Leave.EU is calling upon supporters to do the same.

Last week saw a spate of shameful amendments designed to obstruct Brexit. That was just the beginning. This evening, a treasonous faction of MPs – just one of several – will publish a ludicrous alternative to the EU (Withdrawal) Act to enable Parliament to take the lead in renegotiating May’s deeply flawed settlement with Brussels, while the government stands aside. A no deal would also be outlawed. The leader of the insurrection is Nick Boles who has become deeply unpopular in his constituency. Speaking on BBC Radio 4 last night (click to listen, 35 mins in) Boles outlined his idiotic plans.

“I have always said that I cannot support a Brexit with no deal, and I have been voting with Labour MPs, Lib Dem MPs and SNP MPs to stop that and rebelling against my government,” was his riposte when asked about the letters from angry constituents calling for him to stand down from his Grantham seat.

Nick Boles isn’t fit to be a Conservative MP. Those former Kippers who joined his party did so because they expect the Tories to honour their manifesto pledges to Leave the EU, which Boles is doing the utmost to avoid. He and others need to be forced out.
The motives of Boles and his allies, Nicky Morgan, Oliver Letwin and several others are sheer lunacy. However their plan is workable, for the simple reason that most MPs voted to remain in the EU. More worryingly still, the more Boles’ proposal looks like a genuine threat, the more ammunition the Government has to rally support behind May’s Deal. It’s either that, or Remain, so the scare story goes.

We need to fight back and forge a clear pathway to a WTO withdrawal.

      God bless them!
I’m not sure, that LeaveEU strategy will make a difference. Most Tory locals are forelock tuggers, with no backbone to stand up to the little cliques that run their constituency associations.
      But it’s worth a try.
Our country is facing treason in the House of Commons and we have to take the fight to the enemy every possible way.

        Quite right, Pamela.
        In every possible way.

May has been hammered, her sell-out rejected overwhelmingly tonight.
If she had stood up to Brussels, we would not be in this pickle, with the people’s decision at the mercy of anti-democracy MPs.
She ought to resign and give a patriot a chance. There are still a few in the House of Commons.
