    A Tropical Calais? Indonesian Mayor Wants Migrants “Removed!”

    Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi said Thursday he asked for the minister’s guidelines about how to deal with the “social problems caused by the immigrants” in Batam…

    • =======================

    • “We are asking for the immigrants to be removed from Batam,” Rudi said..

    • Batam is a bustling port at the northern end of Indonesia, just across from Singapore.

    • I’ve passed through it a couple of times, and taken the international ferry, a short, pleasant journey, on which you can see lots of small boats going to and fro, many of them fishermen. It must be quite easy to sneak into quiet spots along the coast if one wishes to deposit a cargo of crimmigrants.

    • But this JP article nowhere specifically says Mayor Rudi is talking about legal or illegal immigrants…

    …until we reach these two consecutive paragraphs.

    Batam Immigration Office recorded 362 immigrants in Batam, 280 of whom live at Kolekta Hotel and 61 at the Immigration Office Detention Center. The immigrants’ cost of living is funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

    Does this mean that some government apparatchik has chosen to emulate Cameron, instal illegals in hotel accommodation, instead of slapping them behind bars where they belong?

    There are also 82 immigrants living at Aspirasi Park in Batam. They are from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia and Ethiopia.

    Aaah! Same allsorts with which poor Calais is burdened.

    The municipality said the immigrants have made the park “dirty.”  http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2016/10/13/batam-wants-govt-to-remove-immigrants-from-city.html

    And another Batam official had another thing to say which made me think of Calais, and the long failure of French authorities to crack down on the undesirables –

    “There is no supervision of them. This is dangerous. The central government has to consider the local wisdom when they decide to accommodate immigrants,” he said.

    British Lying Press V French Patriot Mayor!

    Sounds just like that fine French mayor we wrote about last week!

    In France Today, Democracy’s ‘A Threat To Public Order!’

    The report concludes with a most peculiar sentence.

    I’m not sure if it reflects the versatility of undesirable aliens or the the Jakarta Post’s infamous grammar issues.

    Recently the Immigration Office arrested several male immigrants suspected of soliciting themselves.

      Thank you for reminding us that it isn’t the AfD in Germany and Marine Le Pen in France and the FPO in Austria who see the illegal immigrant problem clearly.
      Like many Australians, I fully agree with the Batam Mayor.
      I also remembered your blog post nearly three years ago, when the Indonesian judge described how some of those ‘poor persecuted Rohingiya refugees’ behaved.
      ‘ – the defendants have been proven legally and convincingly guilty of working together to blatantly carry out violence, which resulted in the loss of human lives.’ https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2013/12/05/heading-for-oz-murderous-rohingya-asylumers-out-in-nine-months/
      Indonesians naturally don’t appreciate ungrateful migrants.
      I understand that perfectly but just the same, it’s a pity that they don’t deport them back to where they come from. I read too many times that they try to pass them along to long-suffering Australia!

      That’s an outstandingly good Jakarta Post grammatical bolzup!
      Soliciting yourself must be easy but not profitable.

      Why doesn’t that newspaper employ people with a minimal command of English?..

      How nice to know that our refusal to be cowed by the political elite is echoed by a mayor in distant Indonesia. Well done, Batam..
      Everywhere around the world we read of these unwanted people just sneaking or even barging into places they don’t belong, no respect for the places they invade, causing crimes and making as dirty a mess where they squat as they did in their own countries..

    Third World Dunnies Mean Oz is ‘Catching Up?’

    Australian Multicultural Foundation executive director Hass Dellal welcomed the squat loos — saying it was a sign Australia was catching up with the rest of the world.

    dellal Dellal

    Yup, that’s progress!

    But a more generally acceptable great leap forward for Oz might be the disbanding of that foundation and put all the money wasted on it towards educating simpletons…

    Instructional stickers were even put up in the Canberra office, where 20% of staff are migrants from non-English-speaking countries

    ….who can’t comprehend the obvious meaning conveyed by these sort of signs, which are hardly difficult to figure out, even for dumbos hired by the Australian Tax Office.

    Aussies who have to deal with tax bureaucrats probably already have  a low opinion of those hired to squeeze cash out of honest working men and women to pick up the enormous tab incurred by nasty ‘asylum’ ingrates – sixty million bucks burned up on Christmas Island alone!

    Another Amok-Run by Ingrate Illegals!

    Now, reading that more of their taxes are being squandered on backward buffons incapable of taking a dump the real Aussie way, public anger must be white-hot (oooops, is that a racist phrase in this context?)

    No wonder Pauline Hanson is asking what the hell’s going on?’

    Third World Dunny – Advance, Australia, Fair?

    But multicult management at the ATO insist they want to “accommodate for the different needs” of their staff….

     The new office in Melbourne had squat loos installed after several complaints about the “mess” left by workers at the capital’s HQ.

    Why inverted commas around ‘mess?’

    Bit and pieces of human faeces ARE a mess, except perhaps to Justin Untersteiner, ATO acting chief finance officer.

    •  Untersteiner
    • ==========================
    • He says – “We are committed to maintaining an inclusive workplace that engages, informs and supports all our employees, whatever their background…”

    Australia forced to install ‘squat toilets’ in government building…

    Enough ‘diversity’ hogwash!

    • hogwashmeterred
    • ====================
    • Sod off, dimwit! Tell the slobs to shape up or ship out!

    Meanwhile, will Malcolm Turnsteer meet the Grand Mufti, a noted expert on Un-Australian thinking, to hammer out a compromise dunny deal?

    Where would be a suitable venue for such a high-level confab?

      Good lord, if they can’t manage basic toilet training, why are they working in a government department?
