As Roberts Goes Rogue, One U.S. Judge Does His Duty!

The weaseling of Chief Justice John Roberts has been rightly deplored, his endorsement of recent bizarre Supreme Court rulings, on preventing DACA crimmigrants being deported…

…and forcing employers to hire sexual maladjusts.

Good for Senator Tom Cotton, who described Roberts as a wannabe “Solomon who will save our institutions from political controversy and accountability.”

Bravo Senator Ted Cruz, who weighed in too!

Reassuring, then, to find one American judge who is infinitely more principled than Roberts.

The US state of Virginia, some 130 years ago, undertook, as a solemn legal obligation, to look after the statue of General Robert E Lee, as a “perpetually sacred” duty.

Now, as an act of appeasement towards the BLM rabble infesting America’s streets, the current Virginia Governor, a leftist Democrat named Northam, has disavowed that duty, planning to haul down the hero.

…the great-grandson of two men that signed a deed giving the state control of the the monument in 1890 sued the state….

And, admirably, Circuit Judge Bradley Cavedo has extended the injunction the hero’s heir obtained!

Unlike that robed rat Roberts, Judge Cavedo, who may or may not like seeing Lee’s statue in Richmond, understands that his job is to uphold law, not play politics.

…it is horrifying that MOST Democrats in the House of Representatives took a different view.

As the Daily Caller reports, an amendment to deter the Transportation Security Agency from employing persons convicted of such offences was only passed in the teeth of opposition from the majority of the Democrat members.

Seems like a lot of American parliamentarians share the equivocal attitude towards the terrorist threat as we have noted among certain Westminster MPs.
