While we often focus on the IslamoNazi FPI ( ‘Defenders of Islam’) it’s important not to forget their kindred spirits in the FUI, the Indonesian Muslim Forum, who are every bit as hostile to religious liberty and just as nasty.

Today’s report on the Jogja Radar.com confirms my description, jihadist goons trooping along to the city’s Police HQ to rail and whine about Christians celebrating Passover on Kridosono Field.
As so often, the bigot gang’s excuse is that passing Muslims might be converted!
What a pack pf poltroons, with such a low opinion of their co-religionists that they purport to believe there’d be apostasy breaking out all over the field if the Christians offered food, free medical treatment and other things.
Actually, that’s just offensive to the loyalty of decent Muslims to their faith – and so threadbare an excuse that it lifts the lid off the FUI’s true motivation- naked hostility to other creeds.

Oh, yes, and hate for America too!
The good news is that Police Chief Brigadier General Erwin Triwanto knocked the bigots back (only metaphorically, alas) and rejected their demand that the peaceful Christian minority be banned from the field.

In fact, he said afterwards that he had no power to license or forbid meetings.
However, the climate of intolerance that these Islamist fanatics have cast over Indonesia is evident from what else he said.
However, to avoid things that are not desirable, Police took the initiative to invite the committee to ask for explanation of those matters. “Do not allow misunderstandings between residents of Indonesia…FUI concerns we’ll forward to the committee, “said Erwin.
Disingenuous, that, about misunderstandings.…
FUI understand perfectly that Christians should celebrate their holy days. FUI simply wish Christians be gone – or turn apostate!
And those Jogja Christians understand all too well how precarious their freedoms are.

For the Easter event’s advisory committee, Chang Wendriyatno gave assurances that there are no food handouts, free medical care, or apostasy. “We have nothing like that throughout the event….we reiterate, no proselytizing or anything else…just purely Easter celebration. “said Chang told reporters on Tuesday (14/4).

It goes with goody-bags, apparently!

Sad they’re afraid to spread the Gospel. They should feel free to do so, to anyone willing to listen. Anyway, tomorrow the objects of Islamist loathing will worship on their field. But it won’t be a glorious exultation.
“…the Easter celebration service will be carried out in an orderly manner and not provoke unwanted things.”
Unwanted/undesirable things is a common code when people don’t want to say sectarian mayhem.
“There should be no publication of the bombastic, nor lots of banners…We also want to keep Yogyakarta a tolerant city,” Chang said.
The easy way to do that is to detain every IslamoNazi undesirable in town!
