One of F24’s journalettes interviewed Pascal Bolo, the city’s head of security, on the nightmare of alien predators who make life hell for decent French people.

Monsieur Bolo was quite clear about the menace.

Well, that rings true, and not only for France.

M Bolo felt obliged to add that the filthy young savages had come to Nantes because they were ‘fleeing from war and misery,’ although that is both unproven and unprovable…

The French official continued, saying that a lot of them ‘should be returned to Lampedusa, under the Dublin rule.’

That Dublin Rule is Brussels’ requirement that illegals need to be kept for approval at their point of EU arrival.

Then the journalette moved on, to meet ‘Night Security Nantes,’ some people joining together for self-defence classes etc.

Lots of women, who had stories to tell – of harassment, assault, robbery and their fear of moving around in their own city after dark.

Plus lots of closed circuit film of criminals who certainly didn’t look like Asterix the Gaul!

Trying to end on a positive note, France24 told us that Nantes has 50 new police officers due to start this year.

Nantes needs them, no doubt, but there’s a greater need!

A new Edict of Nantes!

Those cops need authority to shoot to kill!

And they should exercise NO discrimination, on grounds of race, colour, ethnic origin or AGE!

This shows that Marine understands the essence of the Islamist menace, because those of us who want it rooted out surely have no problems with Muslims who want to pray five times a day or refuse to drink wine or eat pork.

What is essentially different, and evil, about the Islamists is their demand on decent Muslims that they exalt sectarian solidarity above loyalty to country.

 The Cardinal was a significant 17th century minister, who might even be said to have ‘made France great again,’ so no reason to be surprised at her choice.

But at once the left-liberal opportunists leapt at the opportunity to smear – it was, apparently, pointed out to her that the Catholic bishop and statesman “was not very friendly with the Protestants.”

My great7grandfather, Charles De Azeley, was a Huguenot, a French Protestant. In 1685, the King of France revoked the Edict of Nantes, which guaranteed his right freely to worship.

He left his home and ended up in Ulster, at a place called Corbally.

So I have a genetic predisposition to favour religious liberty.
