Tory No To LibDem ‘Alien Votes’ Plan – But Aliens Will Still Be Voting

l see from Brexit Central that the Liberal Democrats’ manifesto declares that EU citizens who have lived in the UK for five years or longer should have the right to stand for office and vote in all UK elections and referendums…

    =

    —-

…and that is of course absurd.

Living here in Indonesia for more than two decades, I would no more expect the right to vote than I would in anyone’s else’s country…

    =

    =

…because although I love Indonesia, I am NOT Indonesian.

The Labour Party is just as bad as the LibDems…

    =

Labour vows to give EU nationals vote in UK general elections

    =

…worse, extending the nonsense to include not just EUSSR citizens but ‘third-country’ nationals too.

    =

But, as far as I can tell, the Tories are abhorring the outrageous suggestion.

    Why?

I imagine they’d say that, just because we may like and respect Danish and French and Polish people, they are NOT British and thus have no right to intrude on decisions that British people take about how Britain is run, any more than, for example non-Poles should think to meddle with how Poles, for example, organise their courts.

To behave otherwise is arrogant hubris, exemplified of course by the Euro-Commissars who aspire to emulate Hitler’s aggressive interference in peaceful democratic nations.

    .

So Labour and the LibDems are entirely in harmony with the hubris that enevelopes Brussels and Strasbourg.

The Tories are not…or rather not quite.

Because while the Tories may not wish to let Swedes, Germans, Belgians etc., vote in UK elections and referenda…

“It would also mean EU nationals in the UK enjoy wider voting rights than UK nationals in any other country….”

    …says Johnson…

“Citizenship requirements are the norm in national elections in democracies, including in the United Kingdom.”

…the very SAME Tories are more than happy to acquiesce in the outlandish situation whereby citizens of a foreign republic, which, unlike ANY other country in the Brussels Empire, unlike any other country in the world…

(here’s where I reveal that I cheated. I didn’t give you Johnson’s full quote – here it is, unclipped. . “It would also mean EU nationals in the UK enjoy wider voting rights than UK nationals in any other country other than Ireland.”

NB ...’other than Ireland.’ By ‘Ireland’ he presumably means Eire, which is not of course “Ireland!” The former is a foreign power, the latter a geographical expression.)

It’s nothing new, but only this month we encountered this rabid, arrogant attitude yet again, when Eire’s deputy prime minister, the far-from-simple Simon Coveney, started (continued) laying down the law to Britain…

…, oblivious to the irony of a Dublin minister whining about people ‘getting away’ with offences when his own grubby little country allowed the scummiest IRA/Sinn Fein murder gangsters to escape justice for years and years and years.

Labour Lunacy – Even MORE Non-Brits To Vote On British Freedom?

Labour is expected to support efforts to amend the bill to bring forward the date, and also to lower the voting age and allow EU citizens to vote.

That’s from the Guardian and while we may argue about giving local counterparts of The Addled Brat any rights whatsoever…

…it’s to be hoped that Comrade Corbyn’s plan, to let even more aliens (citizens of countries in the EUSSR ) participate in a UK election, will damn him forever in the eyes of every British man and woman whose loyalty is to Queen and Country.

It’s bad enough that hundreds of thousands of citizens of an alien and hostile nation….

      That is undeniable.
Nobody but UK citizens should be voting in UK elections.
      Logic seems beyond the Left.

No foreigner should vote in British elections, and they should not want to.
We don’t want to vote in their elections.

Enemy Within UK? Ain’t Just Eire’s 5th Column!

“I hadn’t actually realised I could stand,” says Ms Butler-Thalassis, a Greek national who is running to be a Labour councillor in Westminster…

    Payback time

Britain’s EU migrants get a first chance to vote since the referendum

    Watch out, Theresa May

    =

    This is not good.

The shocking story in The Economist underlines a key reason why Brexit is not just a wise decision democratically reached, but an URGENT priority – because it reminds us how aliens – not illegal aliens, not voter fraud crimmigrants…

“Very Tall Figure – Full Islamic Burka – Voted 3 Times!”

…but aliens who are quite legally on British soil, legitimately resident thanks to their citizenship of foreign countries which, like Britain, languish under Brussels rule…

    =

    =

…have got hold of the privilege of voting in British elections!

Not, fortunately, for parliamentary purposes – bad enough that Eire aliens have insanely been granted that boon by unthinking legislators – but in every local election.

No less than a million votes from EU nationals, that could easily swing election results, will be cast in just a couple of months.

..about 400,000 of them are in London, where nearly all seats are up for election and several councils are expected to change hands.

The Greek woman is married to a Brit. She could fairly easily have exchanged Greek citizenship for UK citizenship. She chose not to, and she’s entitled to choose, no argument.

But she’s now standing in Westminster, which Labour hopes to win from the Conservatives for the first time… https://www.economist.com/news/britain/21738379-watch-out-theresa-may-britains-eu-migrants-get-first-chance-vote-referendum

Westminster is a British local authority.

Only UK citizens should have the right to participate in its government. It’s not just that local councils now wield influence on national issues, like Brexit, with puffed-up, self-regarding blustards – like London’s Mayor – weighing in on national…

…and even international matters, on which they’re neither  qualified nor have the legal authority to speak.

It is, in the current Brexit situation, completely insane. These foreign citizens are still foreign. They have not applied for UK citizenship, plainly because they identify with their own countries – not with Britain.

Any decisions they take will not be guided by their perception of what’s good for Britain.

Or, more often than not, in material considerations, maintaining their privileged position in Britain  – which depends on EUSSR rule.

Their allegiance lies beyond the sea.

It is simply WRONG to give them any say on how Brits are governed!

Greek cheek, that woman in Westminster, who could as you say get UK citizenship by her marrying a British man. Instead she wants to cling to Greece but even o intends to be part of our political system.
Bad enough as it is to have a man running London who, like Theresa May, refuses to condemn shariah law, but he at least carries a UK passport.
If the Greek woman is an example of the ‘EU migrants’ that May is going to allow to continue living in England (or Scotland or Wales or Northern Ireland) then there’s going to be a lot of ill-feeling against them if they don;t bob down and accept it’s OUR country they are in, not theirs.
