Gaystapoid 'Vue' Makes One Want To Spew!

One of our UK readers just sent me this appalling report, about a company named ‘Vue,’ which apparently owns a cinema in London’s Piccadilly.

Christian group Core Issues Trust hired a screen at Vue Piccadilly, in the West End, to show its film – the Voices of the Silenced.

But the cinema cancelled the event at the last minute, saying it contradicted the company’s values.

Protesters accused Vue of censorship. According to the film’s makers, the documentary tells the stories of 15 people “emerging out of homosexual lifestyles”

I have over recent years spent some time writing about the ridiculous film censorship here in Indonesia…

…but the self-righteous movie (and TV) censors here can at least defend their bizarre behaviour by saying the law gives them the power to make our viewing choices for us.

Vue, in contrast, was simply pandering to the intolerance of the gaystapo lobby, which perennially seeks to relegate admirable people who successfully seek cures for sexual maladjustment to the category of ‘non-persons…’

….a bit like how the Soviets used to air-brush individuals from photos if they fell out of favour with the marxist in-crowd.

After all, if homosexuality is not to be cured, then how can cured ‘gays’ exist? Hide their very existence – that’s the gaystapo watchword!

Curiously, not a single Vue management figure is named in the BBC news report. Only a nameless statement is quoted, making that absurd ‘values’ claim and saying the censorship decision was reached without outside influence.

So I checked and find that their big boss is, embarrassingly, a Canadian, named Tim Richards!

I hope Brits made aware of Richards’ vindictive ban will boycott his cinemas.

But Vue bosses don’t exist in a vacuum, and the ban-fans may well have been anxious about the vicious, vengeful intolerance of the gaystapo.

The BBC found some creep from that bigot mob Stonewall to quote, though once more no name is given.

“LGBT people aren’t ill. Being gay, lesbian, bi or trans is not something that should be ‘cured’ or changed.

Why not?

It’s an affront to nature and if people want to be cured of that miserable malady, they should have the chance to seek both encouragement and treatment.

But the militant queers fear that idea.

As with any form of psychological maladjustment, there should be treatment available to cure sexual aberration. It’s obviously not something engrained from birth – look at Mrs. De Blasio in New York.

NEA okay with promoting homosexuality to children and members

Welcome to America, the land of the free— unless you belong to the National Education Association, the nation’s largest union. 

This increasingly radical arm of far-left politics always has its national meeting over Fourth of July week and guess what is on the table at its meeting right now in Boston?

They are proposing to expel the exhibitors of the NEA Ex-Gay Educators’ Caucus.

All in the name of tolerance and diversity, of course. 

Here’s the resolution, published this morning in the convention agenda:

“Be it moved that the NEA implement its own rules and regulations on ‘Becoming an Exhibitor’ to NEA caucuses AND IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE EXHIBIT ENTITLED ‘NEA EX-GAY EDUCATORS’ from the exhibit hall on the grounds that this exhibit violates existing NEA exhibitor standards. These standards state that Exhibitors may not distribute materials that are offensive, distracting, or discriminatory.”

Leaving homosexuality is “discriminatory”? Only among those afraid of the power of that option! And to whom is this hope “offensive”? To radical homosexuals and their allies.
