I see from the US media that the cop being subjected to threats of persecution by Obama’s racist Attorney General has resigned.

It’s no fun quitting your job if you don’t have another to go to.

And it doesn’t sound like Officer Darren Wilson has.

In his resignation statement, Wilson said: “It was my hope to continue in police work but the safety of other police officers and the community is of paramount importance to me. But that sense we all can grasp, of facing an uncertain future when you find yourself out of work,  is magnified a thousand fold for this decent American cop.

It may be termed ‘resignation,’ but the plain truth is that he surely had little choice. It’s not only his livelihood at stake, but his very life, and that of his family, which must be considered at risk. And his cop colleagues are under threat as well.

I would hope decent Americans can start a support fund for Darren Wilson. God knows he deserves it – and if Holder’s “Justice” Department white-collar hit-men come after him, as they may very well do, despite the Grand Jury findings that he has no case to answer – he will be up against it. 

PS – and a nice bit of news at the end of that same report, about the infantile introduction of racial politics into the recent game involving several St. Louis Rams players standing with their arms raised in a “Hands Up” gesture before trotting onto the field for pregame introductions…

When about three dozen St. Louis officers in riot gear showed up to make sure things didn’t get out of hand, many of the fans broke out in spontaneous applause for the officers.

 

And that show of solidarity with the good guys probably represents 90% of Americans.’ Sez who?

No, it was a tv personality on the left-lib medium MSNBC.  And he went on to say this –

BBC Bias and Ferguson Filth – A Double Disgrace!

I wasn’t going to get into the disgusting riot scenes in Ferguson again – American readers have many American conservative blogs to follow where sense is talked.

But then tonight I tuned into the BBC’s ‘World Have Your Say.’ and what do I see but a display of bias that’s hard to imagine – if you don’t know the BBC!

• The first guests were introduced, three women, two young and black ,one less young and white – they all chimed in to say how much they agreed with the ‘protestors’ – a lot of rot about ‘oppression,’ which didn’t seem to have hindered the career of one of the young black ladies, who’s a PROFESSOR, no less, in some UK college.

Not bad for an oppressed little gal!

Then we had a young black man, who said he’d personally, when he was younger still, witnessed cops ‘macing’ young people – why, he didn’t tell us! Just to pass the time?

Or were they juvenile delinquents who deserved it?

Then a retired NYC cop, Tom Verni, who didn’t challenge the whining we’d already heard, but instead told us calmly that ‘America is still a sexist, racist and homophobic society.’

 Then a Canadian ‘reporter’ who quoted ‘research’ showing that ‘of course’ (his own words!) US cops were ‘faster’ to shoot a black male than a white male in similar situations.

Oh, and not to omit a black blogger named Jamal, praising Al Sharpton for having ‘kept this issue at the forefront,’ and a black pastor, also moaning that ‘there’s a long long way to go…’ .

The presenter, after more than half an hour of this one-sided propaganda, suddenly said that ‘we’re running out of time.’  I was thoroughly p$$$ed off, naturally, but hung in there to see if ANY contrary voice was going to be allowed a hearing.

NOT!

A black (-ish) LA lawyer named Walter Katz popped up next, who specialises in ‘police conduct.’  On and on about how to ‘reform’ the police. You’d think a lawyer would be keener to ‘reform’ vicious young louts like those in the news item below.

Ferguson, Missouri, on Monday night, an elderly white man, dependent on oxygen to breathe, strolled out to his car in the parking lot of a pizza joint to retrieve an oxygen tank from his car. Moments later, he was brutally attacked by marauding thugs “seeking justice” for Mike Brown…A TV news crew…arrived and videotaped the victim lying crumpled on the pavement, his oxygen tank perched across his body.

…eyewitnesses can be heard telling the news crew the man was beaten with his oxygen tank, which was then used to smash the window of his car. The attackers fled the scene in the man’s vehicle and ran over the victim in the process.

I note the trendiest demand from the anti-police agitators is that every officer should be fitted with a mini-camera (presumably with a wide-angle lens to ensure a good shot of the approach of ‘unarmed teenagers’ like the hulking Michael Brown?)

Perhaps sane America should lodge a counter-demand that each policeman/woman’s standard equipment should include the local equivalent of an AK47? 

Darren Wilson, No Case to Answer – So Quell That Riotous Rabble!

I heard on the news last week that Obama’s fellow-racist Eric Holder had warned the police to show ‘restraint’ if, as is of course currently happening, the violent rabble in Ferguson Missouri, run amok when the verdict was announced.

That’s the real question!

This comes after hearings that lasted for 25 days, in which the grand jury heard more than 70 hours of testimony from 60 witnesses, including three medical examiners. In its deliberations, the grand jury considered five possible charges ranging from first degree murder to involuntary manslaughter.

And they have concluded there is insufficent evidence to prosecute Officer Wilson on ANY of those!

But the hate festering in the streets of Ferguson, the vile ranting wannabe lynch-mobs, will NOT accept that the man can be anything but guilty.  I heard Obama this afternoon saying that being ‘deeply disappointed and angry’ with the grand jury was ‘understandable.’

How so? Has The Manchurian access to other evidence the grand jury never saw?

Or is he just exposing his engrained racism, again, as he did when he singled out the lout Trayvon Martin, of all the many American youths who died in one year, as somebody who looked like the son he never had?

 I also hear that already today another cop has suffered, not, like Darren Wilson, the misery of irrational accusation, but vicious racist violence, as the savages turn to looting to prove their commitment to justice.

The National Guard is there to reinforce the police. They should get stuck in, hard, and teach the scumbags, both black AND white (it’s important to remember that much of the anti-social garbage on the streets IS white – it’s not just blacks!)  a lesson they won’t forget.
