EU policy and law makers are ironing out final details of a legislative reform on collecting the fingerprints of asylum seekers and refugees, known as Eurodac. The latest plan includes possibly using coercion against minors, which one MEP calls “violence….”

If I had to choose a nominee for Nutjob of the Month, she’d be a top candidate.

Of course all ‘migrants’ should be finger-printed. The very fact that so many defy attempts to ID them in that most reliable of ways gives their mendacious game away.

She got all fretty in her role as chair of a cross-party group on children’s rights at Strasbourg, but alarmingly she’s now happier that the original draft, a sensible plan to approve coercion to be used on children as young as 6…..

If your kid starts breaking up the furniture, or throws rocks at the neighbours’ cat, no matter how old the kid may be, a spot of coercion – a damn good slap – makes sense.

And if the kid has no bloody right to be in your country at all, and refuses to mind its manners and hold out its hand for painless finger-printing, why the Hell shouldn’t it be taken hold of and made to behave!

NOW Nutjob is at least temporarily placated, since brat-prints may be obtained in “duly justified circumstances that are permitted under national law.”

But only if they are over 14.

Ludicrously, minors between the ages of 6 and 14 can provide their prints on a voluntary basis.

So border security personnel will need to go down on their knees before obnoxious little squirts and say ‘

A tad insensitive, true, and I can see why an honest black person would be upset, but how many pallid faces have we seen among the Mediterranean undesirables? And these are not ordinary times –  in the run-up to a G7 summit in Elmau on 7 and 8 June, Germany has reintroduced border controls. Passports will be checked over a three week period, from 26 May to 15 June.

Germany is concerned by recent terrorist attacks, which is wise. But why only during a summit? Okay, we don’t really, really want Angela and Cast-Iron and Hollande blown up!

But their safety is no more important than that of Hans and Ilse out shopping on German streets. Allowing hordes of crimmigrant savages into their country at ANY time poses a clear and presnt danger to the common folk.

So logic as well as common sense demand these border controls be made a permanent fixture.

Tough on Italy that patrols are making sure that migrants get off the train by Brennero, 300 metres from the Austrian border.

But then it’s Italy that’s letting the rabble disembark in their port cities, instead of adopting the smart Oz strategy of turning the wasters back.

What they SHOULD be told is to DO what they’re told.

Dawit says he was never fingerprinted. “They told me that I can do it, if I want to stay in Italy, or go free.” Many other migrants present in Bolzano said they hadn’t been fingerprinted either.

As for those who had been, it is unclear whether the records were only used by Italian authorities to check criminal records or whether they were also introduced into the centralised Eurodac system. If so, EU rules stipulate they cannot apply for asylum in another country than Italy, where they first arrived.

Draw your own conclusion what kind of advice the legal lice are offering. And rest assured the arrogant aliens will please themselves rather than abide responsibly with the law, because…    “According to our headcount, more than 5000 people were taken off the train in Brennero during the last six months. They would only stay one day and try to go with another train..”

Obviously, they need to be taken off the train somewhat more robustly –

The good news is that patriotic italians are doing their best to fight this menace via the ballot box.   Matteo Salvini, an MEP for the far-right Lega Nord party in the European Parliament, said Bolzano was worse than Beirut. His Lega Nord party had a break-through last month, gaining fur seats locally.

And, though I hate to say it, there’s even a little sense showing in Brussels.
