ABC’s Q&A – So Much For The Free World!

A Q+A audience member has been slammed following a sensational blow up with ABC host Stan Grant over the Ukraine conflict.

Well, that’s true to some extent, as it’s easy for a shallow character like Stan Grant, to win lots of cheap hoorahs the way he did.

But I remember Question Time, broadcast in London, as Britain was fighting an indisputably just war to rescue the Falkland Islanders from a dictator’s aggression.

A young man rose to ask a question, introducing himself as a citizen of Argentina.

    He was heard in silence.

Nobody screamed and shouted abuse at him.

The Question Time host, or was it hostess – that I don’t remember – certainly did not act like a Galtieri, or a Putin.

The man was not declared unwelcome, not banished from the studio.

The Argie was not ordered out, or ‘booted’ out, which makes both that 1980s audience – and that host – morally more gifted than those at Q&A, as one Australian site reports Grant decided to take action, booting the questioner in emotional scenes.

Another report is very revealing about how much free speech is allowed on that talk-show.

Once the man had left, Stan explained to the audience that the question the man asked hadn’t been vetted, apologising for what had happened.

NOT a good night on ABC!

I don’t think the young Russian should have been treated so rudely.
I might have been ready to debate him, even angrily, but to banish him?
      Not right.

    • Jim Ex Jakarta 23:18 on March 4, 2022 Permalink | Reply

That Stan man behaved very unprofessionally.
If most of the crowd were shouting the Russian down, it was the chairman’s job to tell them to cool it.
Instead he sided with the mob.
And what’s the point of a, question and answer program if they pre-censor the questions?

Marine Faces Hard Talk – But In France, Red Nazis Amok!

I would say Marine Le Pen came out of the clash very well, and as forecast…

Barnier, EUSSR Tool, To Rule France?

The grey bureaucrat has next to no chance of victory, but he would be better for Britain than five more years of the vindictive incumbent..

No disagreement with the definition of the little bankster Macron as ‘vindictive,’ though he’s worse than that!

Muppet Macron’s Mock-Consultation -“We’ll Only Talk About What WE Value!”

Like Merkel, Macron Has Bloody Hands

    But Barnier?

    On issues that matter most?

Surely a joke, albeit sick, this line we heard from Barnier, that ‘limits’ to immigration are a priority.

It’s not the first time he has purported to be on the side of sense…

….and the last time we heard it, we took his tough talk apart

But no more laughable than the pretensions of a Brussels stooge, who served the Euro-Commissars…

Bojo MUST Slap Down Brussels Arrogance

…so diligently in their bid to bully Brits into accepting a watered-down version of Brexit – which Brits never did, though Jellyfish Johnson did!

    Barnier running against Le Muppet?

Both consumed with concern about unwelcome and very undesirable aliens….

…but neither Tweedledum nor Tweedledee prepared to defy the the Sorosoid ECHR’s get-out-of-jail-free card…

Crimmigrant Arson In Calais! Savages Still Amok! Thanks Again, Euro-Court!

….that it’s illegal for French police to detain scum who are illegally in France?

Faced with this pusilannimous pair of pretenders….

…La Belle Marine must feel her presidential star is surely rising ever higher.

    Bon Chance, Marine!

A grand speech from the lady who may yet be the saviour of La Belle France…

…Marine Le Pen, who ‘kicked off her long-haul presidential campaign on Sunday by urging France to “wake up” to the fact that the country was sinking into “barbarity…”following a summer of violence….

..but we know it’s going to be a tough fight, not least because French state media is as rotten with bias as UK Pravda.

We drew attention to that state media’s Mme. Saragosse and her notorious leftism just a few minutes ago.

Does This Lefty Madame Ever Watch Her Own Channel?

As ever, Marine will be facing the collusion of the so-called ‘centre-right’ and ‘centre-left’ parties around Le Muppet. They are always quick to drop their shadow-boxing charade, when faced with a people’s champion.

It’s the Enemy Within, though, that should be the focus of Marine’s campaign, the need to clean out Un-French from France…

….so whoever those ‘centre’ saps unite around can therefore also expect a shoal of votes from disloyal primitives in the banlieues.

But French patriots don’t need outside advice.

    They only need to unite!

    BBC’s Bitter Bias – A Megaphone For Left-Bigot Smears!

Noonday in Jakarta, and, fed up with France24, I switched channels just to see how biased the BBC could be in its coverage of Muppet Macron’s win – The Fall Of France? Mais Non! Vive La Resistance! – on which we reported last night.

Sure enough, some Beeb bint was on the screen, ‘interviewing’ two foreign journos.

Fair enough, you think, one from each side?

Hasil gambar untuk gotta be kidding

    C’mon, this is the BBC!

We had to listen to vicious vapouring from both of them, one being the infamous Nabila Ramdani, who a while ago revealed her true colours after Islamist savages descended on their Charlie Hebdo victims.

Ramdani is, according to wikipedia, a French freelance journalist of Algerian descent who specialises in Anglo-French issues, Islamic affairs, and the Arab World.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nabila_Ramdani

    ================Hasil gambar untuk nabila ramdani

We actually had a go at her back in January 2015 –

Nasty Nabila, BBC’s Shariah Star, On Charlie’s ‘Consequences!’

After the Islamist atrocity in Paris, she talked rot on the BBC, totally offensive merde about how the ‘blasphemous’ cover of Charlie Hebdo was some sort of misuse of free speech.

Like so many liberals, she disowned the murder tactics but made it very plain she reckons a free press should be unfree when it might upset fanatics.

Watch and listen for yourselves – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAEBSrFeG6c

And who was standing there beside her but a German, Stefan Simons, of Der Spiegel, equally eager to purvey nasty anti-Marine prejudice, who ended his obnoxious in-put by saying that the patriot party candidate reflected harking back his own country’s Hitler era!

I’ve not changed channels again, waiting to see if the BBC might display even fragmentary commitment to fair play, but no chance!

Simons is back on, and some dork called Hugh Schofield.

I watched that pair too, Ross, and it’s so true what you say about BBC bias.
I was home when that Question Time was on, about Charlie Hebdo and that French, no, Algerian female Nabila was so offensive, trying to make a case why we should all be sorry for sensitive souls whose feathers were ruffled by ‘blasphemy.’
I remember thinking they could all find another country to live in if they hate free speech so much, why bring their stupid prejudice to our country where we say what we think.

The Fall Of France? Mais Non! Vive La Resistance!

I spent an unpleasant half hour or so, whilst waiting for the French election result, in front of the tv, assailed by the nauseating prejudice of  France24’s panellists, who were, as usual, ALL hostile, some virulently bigoted, in their attitude towards Marine.

    • But finally we got past all that, and once the results were announced, I left the leftist skunks to wallow in their own stench.\

    • So what are we to make of what’s been decided in the polling booths?

    • A bad result for France, true, but not that bad for Marine, whose eleven million voters are a record high for her party, and who can  look forward to a big increase in the percentage of National Assembly legislators next month.

    Let the dust settle,

In the weeks ahead, let’s see if the rotten media can continue to cover up the substance of those documents that Hollande ordered them not to reveal.

At least Hollande, Le Retch, will now ooze off into obscurity, though he may well pop up in another incarnation in Brussels.

Like father, like son – but when the similarities become glaring, who will really like that!

As for Muppet Macron, he will soon enough drop the ‘centrist’ mask and be seen as the left-liberal he undoubtedly is.

    Gambar terkait

THEN La Resistance will rise and rise!

    Enough for tonight.

As I was switching everything off, France24 changed their panel slightly. They took off one of the most poisonous leftists, a creepy lecturer named Aurelien Mondson, and brought on two young men, one from Muppet’s ‘movement’ and one fro Marine’s Youth Section.

So out of the four, now one was pro-Marine and the rest were anti.

    ‘Progress’ of sorts!

You are so positive, a good change from many of us here who are so very dissappointed about the Macron victory.
In just one more month we have a golden chance to win many places in our parliament then we begin the next five years plan that can take Marine to the presidency.

    Tonight, Debate! Bon Chance, Marine!

Must take a nap this afternoon, so I can be on good form to stay up late in Jakarta, enjoying the Presidential Debate in Paris.

Just listening to France24 – why am I such a masochist? – and it turns out there’s a bunch of ‘artists’ out on the streets there, gabbling pro-Muppet merde, telling the media that he’s the only pro-democracy candidate!

I hope their music is in better shape than their logic.

    • Last I heard, Marine’s the one offering real democracy, with referenda on the big issues.
    • It’s hard to find anything positive to say about Muppet, but at least he’s got a little more guts than that old shyster Chirac, who chickened out of debating Marine’s rough-hewn Dad, was it something like twenty years ago?
    • Prediction?

I reckon La Belle Dame will wipe the floor with the Europhiliac.

Mon Dieu! The Double Standards Of France’s Liberal Media!

The arrogance of the media is extraordinary, as you’ll have noticed if you saw  those braying jackasses at the posh Washington White House Correspondents’  Dinner on tv yesterday.

They were clearly miffed that President Trump preferred the more wholesome company of the thousands of ordinary Americans at the patriot rally in Pennsylvania.

    Gambar terkait

But it’s the sheer hypocrisy of their French counterparts that deserves attention today, with hacks from more than 30 French media outlets whining about their allegedly restricted access to patriot presidential candidate Marine.

I note that The Leftal, sorry The Local, gives us a clue why much of the media in France might be unpopular with the lady – once more, they insist on calling her ‘far-right.’

Marine has unequivocally asserted that she is NOT ‘far-right‘ but still the hacks stick to their biased labelling, despite the known fact that her platform of stopping crimmigration and cracking down on subversive Islamists has huge public support.

But while the media like dishing out bias, they don’t like blow-back!

“Several outlets have had their representatives excluded from any information or any possibility to follow the National Front candidate…” French media slam Le Pen lockout while Macron bans Russian news sites

The petition was signed by representatives for journalists at Agence France-Presse (AFP) and editorial staff at other major French media outlets including Le Monde and Le Figaro dailies, TF1 and BFM television channels as well as France Info radio…..

    Hasil gambar untuk tantrum

“We protest in the strongest way against this hindrance to carrying out our duty to inform,” the petition says.

    Duty to INFORM?

If they were providing objective reports, unslanted coverage, these ‘several outlets’ might not be encountering any problems.

But in fact, The Leftal exemplifies the inability of left-liberal media to cover election news fairly.

At no point in their entire report do they have any source from Marine’s campaign explaining the ‘restrictions!’

It goes without saying that there MUST be reasons for the situation, but The Leftal can’t or won’t tell us both sides of the story!

Instead they just provide a megaphone for arrogant hacks.

“It is not up to political structures, whatever they may be, to decide on which outlets are allowed to exercise their democratic role in society.”

Hell, Jimmy Olsen, cub-reporter, must be turning in his cartoon grave.

Hasil gambar untuk jimmy olsen cub reporter

Back in the day when journos worked hard to report news, and took pride in their hard work, they didn’t ask their targets to set themselves up as sitting ducks for predatory, prejudiced reporting.

And as for double-standards, where’s the hacks’ petition against Muppet Macron’s ban on media whose reporters upset his sensitive Europhiliac soul?

‘Liberal’ Muppet Macron Bans Media Critics – Press On, Brave Marine! .

NO PETITION, or none that I have heard of, anyway.

These hack hypocrites care naught for press freedom, only for their inalienable human right to put the boot into Marine!

I don’t read French news sites but if the French-language media is anywhere NEAR as devoid of impartiality as their Anglophone comrades on France24…

…then Marine is absolutely entitled to exclude them and tell them to –

It’s May Day – Don’t Let Reds Hijack It – Vive Marine!

Here we are, May Day in Jakarta!

Thousands of Indonesian workers will be out marching and hollering downtown, causing traffic nightmares, so best stay home and continue with my paper-back out front, if the sun shines as brightly as it has over the weekend.

But while the workers in Jakarta undoubtedly have just cause to demonstrate…

May Day, Jakarta, four years ago

…let’s not forget that this holiday predates revolutionary socialism by at least two thousand years, its origins in Ancient Rome.

It was long celebrated in Merry England by the common folk, with no hint of fatuous class war ideology.

In France, I have newly learned, May 1st, since 1561, is marked by gifts of ‘a sweet smelling flower called the spring of lily of the valley.’

So with a mere seven days to go  before La Fleur de France makes her bid to win back her country from its enemies…

…may I offer an imaginary bouquet across the globe to Marine.

‘Liberal’ Muppet Macron Bans Media Critics – Press On, Brave Marine!

Lazy morning here, in Jakarta, sunny so far but a risk of rain later. Time to think quietly.

Last June I sent a text message to somebody far away but near and dear to me, on Brexit Eve…

…pondering the poll-prediction of defeat for the British independence.

I had spent almost all my adult life in the freedom fight and to see it lost in a referendum would be a matter of mourning, I observed,  or some words of that sort.

Bliss was it, then, in that dawn to be alive, on June 24th.

Similarly, the stunning upset in America was a delight to see, when I had truly lost all but a sliver of hope.

However, the Evil Empire is pulling out all the stops to get its Muppet into power in Paris.

It looks to be a grim, up-hill struggle before we learn if La France, personified by Marine…

…can prevail against her Enemy Within, the arrogant elites who serve masters beyond her borders.

    But hold on there.

Even the Guardian’s Nutty Natalie, whom we’ve noticed before –For True French Folk, Marine Offers A Truly Fair Future! – says the Europhiliac Muppet shouldn’t take it for granted that the French people will be bullied or beguiled into supporting his candidacy.

Muppet Macron’s allegiance, judging from the flags flanking his appearance on election platforms, is as much to Brussels as to France.

Of course ultra-liberal Nat doesn’t quite put it like that.

Her long, tedious rant takes much of a page to warn against the ‘dark forces’ of self-determination, which is anathema to her and the rest of her rotten political/media class.

But Marine’s campaign must surely already have received a boost from the almost unprecedented intrusion of an arrogant alien cabal into the campaign…

    Echoes of the 1940s

Meddling Euro-Fuhrers Tell French What MUST Be Done!

…Junker, Schultz, Sigmar ‘Der Dicke’ Gabriel, Mama Stasi Merkel, all into brazen sticky-beak meddling mode.

The Euro-Commissars fear Marine deeply, and have thrown overboard the principle that each country should be left free to decide by whom they will be governed.

I said ‘almost’ because of the Austrian precedents, both last year and more than fifteen  years before that.

Haider derides EU over sanctions – Telegraph

Now we have Theresa May’s stance scrutinised by some Guardian hack too.

Asked if May would engage with Le Pen, the spokesman said there was a “longstanding policy of not commenting on ongoing elections in other countries”.   https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/24/downing-street-silent-political-leaders-back-macron-french-president-le-pen

But May has already, by sins of omission, shown her biased hand…   Lost In France – Theresa May’s Damn-Fool Partisan Prejudice! …by refusing to welcome Marine to 10 Downing Street, though she’s had Muppet there for tea and anti-Brexit biscuits.

Her latest reticence is no admirable adherence to principle but – as ever with Theresa –  just a calculated manoeuvre based on her undoubted realpolitik insight.

She thinks Marine may well win through.

Hasil gambar untuk workers cheer marine

Muppet, overshadowed by the patriot party candidate, Marine, and her cheering fans

Watch: French workers boo Macron, cheer Le Pen – Yahoo=

Even on France24 we saw yesterday those workers cheering her, to Muppet’s dismay, while today we saw him falling back to a safe haven for applause  – one of those grim, alien-infested banlieue dens.

There was a brief mention too of how in the first-round vote, Marine did well in town after town across La France, while Muppet’s tally was bloated by Paris, which has a large non-French (except in the technical sense) electorate.

Disturbing thought, that the pro-French patriot candidate might well win most French votes, only to be beaten because those whose allegiance lies abroad, to Brussels or to The Caliphate, flock to Muppet’s standard.

Yet he’s a worried man, as shown by his ban on media he perceives as hostile from his campaign rallies.  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/27/russia-emmanuel-macron-banned-news-outlets-discrimination
