Bad BBC, Targetting Housewives!
The BBC’s taken to aping American wokery NewSpeak, as I noticed again this week when they labelled one of the lady politicians from Belarus a ‘home-maker…’
….that absurd word devised specially to attempt to erase the honourable vocation of HOUSEWIFE from British English as effectively as the feminaziis have done in the USA.
To be a housewife is to be of vital importance to families and societies.

It’s hard work, too!
As I’ve said before, once upon a time, I was house-husband when my offspring had not gotten very big.
Although it can be great fun, and is a way to bond with one’s children that I’d recommend to any father, even so, it can keep you damn busy.
Why would women want to go out commuting to work every day unless they have to?
For that matter…
Why do men? It’s not always fun toiling 9-5.
Every family should decide for themselves, taking into account the financial aspects, the characters of both mum and dad, and also what the kids think about who handles home activities more agreeable.
But the word ‘housewife’ is no put-down, so the BBC should stop trying to brainwash us out of using it.

Home-maker is a stupid word to use about housewives, as if what they do is like a plumber or barber or accountant.
A housewife is very special. Vocation, yes, or more, not a profession, not a job.
