Oz Labor’s Brief Flirtation With Patriotism!

While predictable, the backlash against that Australian Labor Party woman…

Oz Left Now Say No To Migrants?

…who talked up patriotism as a factor in the immigration debate, still makes one a tad nauseous.

We read the headline about some Egyptian-born leftist parliamentarian…

    .

    …..

    Aussies-first rhetoric must stop: Aly

    ..

who, of all people, surely ought to be out in front pledging her solidarity to the fellow-citizens of the country which has given her so much opportunity.

Yet instead, unlike Ms. Keneally, her American-born Labor colleague, Anne Aly evidently thinks it somewhat distasteful to put one’s own people first.

Moreover, ex-New South Wales state premier Bob Carr – who was born in Australia, so far as I know, ‘has urged Kristina Keneally to drop her ‘jobs for Australians first’ rhetoric…’

    .

    ..

Disappointing, old Carr, who once offered wise words on the fake-refugee issue.

    • Senator Carr famously identified Australia’s enemies within during the election campaign.
    • “If you want to embrace the Greens-Left-Fairfax-ABC position, you are going to go backwards at the next election,” he said, according to Labor sources quoted by The West Australian.
    • New Labor/Green Bid to Stab Oz in the Back?

But now he appears to find a rare patriotic statement from a member of his party unacceptable?

What is wrong with these people?

It doesn’t matter what policy politicians in Australia, or in ANY country, are talking about!

    .

    ..

THE priority in ANY debate should ALWAYS be…

    PUT OUR OWN PEOPLE FIRST!

That party used to stand for the Australian working man and his wife.
Now if you say you want to put Australians first, they lose it.
Something is very sick about that.

What is that Aly on about? What you say, that every country should put its own people first, is what all normal people think?
As soon as you have kids, you put them first. It doesnt mean you want to be rotten to other people’s children, it is just right and natural and normal.
As with families, so with countries.
Aly left Egypt when she was a kid. Her parents chose Australia.
Maybe she has now decided they were wrong?

NZ Euthanasia Referendum? Why Not On Capital Punishment?

I rarely get much from New Zealand to comment on, and it’s been a while…

Kiwi Shoppers Should Be Entitled To Bash Vile Vegans!

Kiwis Keep The Flag Flying! But Oz Pinkos Aren’t Happy!

..though when I do, the stories are usually interesting….

    Scumner-Burstyn Oozes Into Hyper-Whine

….but this latest news, that MPs there are bowing to the democratic principle, giving Kiwis a referendum on euthanasia, is most welcome.

    BUT…why only on euthanasia?

In a true democracy, if the people are indeed sovereign, they should have the right to a citizens’ initiative, demanding a vote on any issue.

I have no idea how New Zealanders feel about the death penalty, but in many Western lands the politicians are seriously out of step with the people.

The political class is almost openly contemptuous of us common folk. Certainly, when the UK ended capital punishment, British MPs arrogantly over-rode the wishes of the electorate.

I have heard that there are concerns too about immigration in NZ, that tiresome leftist PM sabotaging a sensible reform planned by her coalition partner.

Inexplicably, she seems to like the idea of aliens getting in based on the primitive practice of ‘arranged marriage.’  https://www.newsroom.co.nz/2019/11/11/899072/the-dirty-little-secret-about-this-migration-debate

    .

Why don’t the reformers challenge her to put that VIP (very important policy) to a people’s vote?

Holiday Weekend – Want A Good Long Read…Or Two?

As Easter is a holiday not only where you are but here in Indonesia too, I am offering you two links to very readable articles, one about ‘Europe…’

    …actually, about the Brussels Empire…

    http://www.spiked-online.com/spiked-review/article/the-eu-where-did-it-all-go-wrong/

Probably where you are, you will have both Friday and Monday off work, whereas here in Jakarta, Good Friday alone is the official holiday.

Whatever, I hope you have fun during your work-free time.

London Has Fallen – Defender of Evil Declared Mayor!

Declared by his supporters, unofficial, but it seems unlikely he’ll be dethroned.

    —————

    islamophobia-21

    ——–

Before we even get started, let’s dispose of the gobble-de-gook word ‘Islamophobia.’

There are good Muslims and bad Muslims.

Good Muslims, in the UK, are loyal to Queen and Country and abhor barbaric, backward beliefs about killing apostates and beheading blasphemers.

    ———————————————————-

    • royal_wedding_ahmadiyya
    • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
    • Bad Muslims prioritise their supranational sectarian ideology and regard good Muslims as ‘Uncle Toms.’ That’s an American term of abuse used by bad black hate-groups against decent black citizens who prefer to obey the law and live amicably with white people.

Now flashback to when Sadiq Khan was a government minister in 2009.

Mr Khan said: “You can’t just pick and choose who you speak to. You can’t just talk to Uncle Toms.”

This week he was into damage-limitation mode. Mr Khan acknowledged that the comment had been an offensive racial slur. He said: “It is, and I regret using that phrase.

    ……………

His excuse would make a cat laugh.

“The context was me trying to encourage everyone to get involved in government consultations…”

In other words, instead of linking up with honourable elements to isolate the enemy, Khan was out to network with rabid jihadists. Instead of shaming and quarantining the forces of darkness,  he wanted to sup with the devils.

Who’d have thought, that Londoners would elect a malignant extremist as their mayor?

I have a photo taken on VE Day, by my late Mother, of a crowd roaring with joy outside Buckingham Palace, Londoners all, I guess, though some of Britain’s overseas allies were probably in the merry throng.

They were cheering Churchill and the Royal Family, after a hard-fought struggle to preserve the realm.

Unfortunately,  imbecilic immigration policies since WW2 have resulted in hundreds of thousands of Britain’s overseas ENEMIES settling in the capital. Many immigrants did their duty and adapted, becoming British and leaving behind their alien trappings.

But there were FAR too many people from barbaric countries like Pakistan, who failed to leave their primitive customs behind…

    Shariah Controlled Zone_thumb[1]

…and whose allegiance to Queen and Country was a joke.

Insanely, they were not only allowed into the UK but given the vote as well, and today we see the result.

    • It’s a tragedy that in London one of their spawn is set to be installed in the office of Mayor.

London Mayor’s Race Exposes Ugly Faultlines in British Politics

    oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

It’s a simplistic, trashy article, insulting the electorate as dogs – the usual stupid stuff about Khan’s opponent using ‘dog-whistle’ tactics, as if the voters are dumb curs who don’t think.

    And get this fatuous quote!

Khan points out, as a lawyer he defended clients he did not agree with…’  http://time.com/4317129/london-mayor-sadiq-khan-zac-goldsmith/

Lawyers abound in big cities. They take on clients they want to defend, or they refuse them. Did anyone twist Khan’s arm and forced him vigorously to defend evil Islamists like those listed in this much more informative Breitbart piece.

London Is About To Elect A Muslim Mayor Who Has Defended

If you read that, you will have a truer measure of the man who holds power in a once-great city.

I’ve been contemplating a visit to the Old Country, later this year, but still have several months before I need to make that decision.

Takes One To Know One? UK Journo Uses Hate-Group To Map KKK

So The Independent is in a tizzy about the Ku Klux Klan? Which has maybe between 3 and 7 members ( maximum!) per city in the USA?http://indy100.independent.co.uk/article/map-the-scary-number-of-us-states-that-still-have-an-active-kkk-chapter–WJegB8EApCx

    • I don’t have much time for hooded vigilantes – living in Indonesia, where similar figures can be seen when IslamoNazi thugs go a-raiding, one’s distaste for such characters is easy to maintain.

But what struck me as appalling is how blithely this Grub Street hack, Louis Dore,  opted to use a notorious marxist hate-group to track the KKK’s antics.

    ————–

    splc

    —————

The Southern Poverty Law Centre has little to do with poverty, except maybe for the impoverished intellects of hacks who rely on their propaganda instead of doing real research.

But it does provide a centre for the dissemination of hate against conervatives of all varieties in the USA. We’ve covered something of its dangerous nonsense before. It was exposed after leftists in the military used its resources to target Christians.

The Enemy Within the US Army!

It was also an inspiration in the violent, would-be murderous attack on the American Family Association.   Check out this link for the video –http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/25/watch-the-splc-inspired-floyd-corkins-try-to-kill-a-family-research-center-security-guard-and-straight-get-his-beat/

And…the SPLC attacked the American Legion for its support of immigration enforcement, which they called “Legionnaires’ Disease.”

This is indicative of what the SPLC is really about. Instead of monitoring “hate” and “extremism,” they are concerned with tarring patriotic Americans who oppose their left wing agenda as haters and extremists…

In an excellent report put out by the Center for Immigration Studies, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jerry Kammer detailed the smear tactics used by the Southern Poverty Law Center to silence those in the immigration debate.

You can read a lot more about these rabid reds in our post here.

The Enemy Within the US Army!

But the issue today is surely whether or not The Independent’s Louis Dore knew their true character.

If he didn’t, he’s a poor reporter. If he did, he’s a menace.

Happy Australia Day, Despite Baird and Morrison’s Divisive Discord!

It’s Australia Day, and I hope all my readers across the Commonwealth enjoy it!

But what a let-down that Morrison has turned out to be.

I watched him last night, this Australian of the Year (chosen not by the people but by a panel of people who no doubt regard themselves as ‘the great and good’ aka the elite) a military man being honoured not for great victories against Australia’s enemies but for his commitment to ‘diversity.’

Morrison and Turnbull, two of a kind?

Regardless of his views, and the less I say about those the better, you’d expect him to express sentiments, for this day at least, that would command broad support from all across the spectrum.

Instead, he opted to call for a republic, about the most divisive issue imaginable.

Although I’m a monarchist, I have always said the decision must be a matter for Australians only. There’s a time and place for the debate to take place.

Not on the eve of Australia Day.

Much the same for that Baird, more so in fact.

    ——–

Baird, Friend of the Bludger – NSW gives asylum seekers travel concessions ‘to help the vulnerable’http://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2015/jun/26/nsw-gives-asylum-seekers-travel-concessions-

    ——–

The New South Wales state premier showed both malice and wilful ignorance in his recent rant about immigration, showing contempt both for patriots and for decent people who take their turn in the queue for admission to Oz by suggesting that Australia is at risk of losing its character to anti-immigration politics.

    http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/mike-baird-sounds-warning-over-antiimmigration-politics-in-australia-day-speech-20160122-gmbzby.html

Most Australians are not immigrants, but most can examine their family trees and find immigrants  somewhere in the last hundred years. Recent intakes include the East and Central Europeans fleeing communism after 1945, and South East Asians escaping the same evil ideology after 1975.

    communism_by_rapierwitt2

    —————–

Nobody nowadays, except ( in the Vietnamese case) the ghosts of Comsymp Labor bigots ( “not having hundreds of f—— Vietnamese Balts coming into this country” The Left Rewrites Its History on Refugees — Quadrant Online )  resents such refugees. They have overwhelmingly embraced their Australian identity, as is the duty of every decent migrant.

What those who engage in  ‘anti-immigration’ campaigns object to are, surely, economic migrants, who are not ‘refugees’ at all, and the disgusting, disloyal brand of bigots who arrive in Oz but refuse to adapt.

    • 3557c-hizbut-tahrir2
    • They proclaim their allegiance not to Australia but to alien sectarian ideologies.
    • We hear this time and again, not least from treacherous swine like Hizbut Tahrir and the Un-Australian Grand Mufti. Wot Next, Oz? Blasphemy Law? Cut The TurnBull-Sh-t!
Many of these undesirables want Australian law to be superseded by a backward code rooted in sexist discrimination against women.

Baird – and Morrison, given his vaunted reputation as a champion of women’s rights – would have been better advised to address their remarks to scum like that, who ought to be deported to places their subversive beliefs belong.

    Which ain’t Australia.

    Happy Australia Day.

Iya, Cinta Indonesia…Tapi Jangan Pakai Fotokopi2!

     gado2

    =========================

I was going to confine myself today to a mellow tale of the rather beautiful tukang gado2 spotted near Grogol during one of my food forays last week, a dishy lady from whom I bought two take-away portions of that spicy dish and whose small stall I shall certainly revisit, and not only because the food was good.

But instead, let me draw your attention to a disturbing story read yesterday afternoon as I sat in Ya Udah (yes, again – I do like that place!)

While a beer in the nearby Jalan Jaksa may well be cheaper, at least in Ya Udah it seems there’s less risk of being roughed up by government raiders!

    ============================

    ———————————-

    WHAT?

I’m referring to the quite long but highly readable account in Indonesia Expat magazine (copies of which were on the mag rack of said watering-hole) about a raid by President Jokowi’s Imigrasi ‘officers’ on the bars and cafes of Jalan Jaksa which, in terms of behaviour described, is rivetting enough.

    ===============

    • pappas Jalan Jaksa
    • ====================
    • But what’s worse is the fact that it appears that no longer are we foreigners safe-guarded from such raiders by carrying photocopies of our documents with us wherever we go.
    • Up till now, most of us have always carried copies, because the real papers are valuable and expensive documents, not easy to replace if they are stolen by one of Jakarta’s numerous pick-pockets, or lost, or damaged, for example if you’re caught outdoors in the rainy season.
    • ===================
    • floodjokowi-baru-bisa-beri-sembako-belum-punya-solusi-banjir  rainy season in Jakarta
    • ===========
    • My personal interest needs to be declared at this point, because for two months I had only photocopies to carry – the dynamic bureaucrats at Immigration took that long to process, insert the required renewal stamp and return my passport.

To be fair to them, the problem was exacerbated by my embassy’s refusal to return my expired passport (which had all my immigration stamps) on the ludicrous grounds that it was ‘damaged.’

    It wasn’t.

A few rain-stains, but perfectly legible throughout. Their rationale – that my old ‘damaged’ passport could be stolen and misused, makes NO sense at all, because had it NOT suffered the rain-stains, it would have been returned with the new one, and an expired passport in 100% good condition is surely much more useful to bad guys who get hold of it than one which is ‘damaged.’

    ————————–

The embassy does provide a formal letter ‘to whom it may concern’ verifying that all is in order, but clearly that two months of processing (usually nearer two weeks!) suggests the letter was of scant interest as far as Indonesian Immigration is concerned!

But that’s BTW – there I was, gallivanting round Jakarta, photocopies only, so fortunate indeed that no bureaucrat raiding party netted me in that time.

Not so lucky a mixed bag of foreigners, whose fate Kenneth Yeung relates in his well-written and most disturbing article, which I recommend you take the time to read. Here’s a brief extract, with his conclusions…

So we must always carry either a passport, KITAS, KITAP or KTP-Asing (residency card for foreigners). Should these be originals or photocopies? The law does not explicitly say so, but given the recent raids, photocopies and scans are not enough.

In which case, it’s high time for countries such as the UK to update their travel advice for Indonesia. The UK Government advises: “Carry a photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport and copy of your arrival card for identification purposes and keep the original documents in a safe place.”

…and here’s the link so you can read it all over your Sunday brunch.  http://indonesiaexpat.biz/featured/the-immigration-inquisition/

I might add that. a few years ago, an official at another big embassy here, when phoned to ask for help with an Imigrasi problem, stated very clearly that ‘we don’t get involved with immigration.’

And here’s me thinking their job was to help their citizens.

If all Kenneth Yeung says is true, and I’ve no reason to doubt him, it indicates an ‘attitude’ on the part of some zealous ‘officials’ here, not – which would be perfectly understandable – against illegals, but against any foreigner whose documents are kept in a safe place and who therefore goes out and about with copies.

Mr. Yeung does add that much comes down to a foreigner’s attitude.

Always be polite, friendly and cooperative. Establish a respectful rapport with Indonesian officials and you’ll find there’s less risk of being treated like a criminal…most Indonesian officials are friendly at heart, provided we don’t antagonize them..

And that’s all good advice, which I learned long ago while still new in Jakarta.

Grasp the truth, that you are a guest in someone else’s country.

    =========================

    • prisoners
    • ……………………….
    • But if you’ve been enjoying a few beers with friends, secure in the knowledge that you have followed your embassy’s advice, clear copies of legitimate documentation in your pocket, and then suddenly you’re grabbed and hauled off to a cell, respectful rapport is not always that simple to summon up!

Mexigration – Canada’s Turdo Outdoing Obama?

If Canadians are actually listening to what Justin Trudeau says, then my concerns expressed earlier this week, that he has a chance of becoming Prime Minister, are surely being allayed.

Kathleen Wynne truddownload Turdo – gaily galloping, Gadarene-Style

    ——-

But again, despite my patriotic prejudices, I have to acknowledge that American voters are neither more nor less attentive than Canucks to speechifying, and the former twice voted for The Manchurian.

    ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Mention of Obama brings me to the point of this post, the Mexican migration menace.

    ————————

    • obama-illegal-immigration-policy
    • ————————–
    • The White House Charlatan is seriously toiling to maintain his standing as Worst President Ever, that news last week – about extending his crimmigrant amnesty to alien felons behind bars – surely unbeatable in terms of rank irresponsibility. Obama amnesty reaches illegals in prisons, jails …
    • ……………………….

But Turdo Junior is striving manfully to outdo Obama, witness his demented declaration that if elected prime minister he would allow travellers from Mexico to come to Canada without a visa.

    ……………….

As a bright gal named Candice Malcolm observes in the Sun, if Canada were to scrap the visa requirement for Mexican visitors, anyone from Mexico could simply show up at our doorstep without prior warning.

    ==================================================

    • illegalimmigrationimage
    • ———————————————–
    • I do wonder if an irate Obama rang Turdo after that news, complaining that little Justin was pilfering parasites that he, Obama, had intended to cram into the USA.
    • Because for your average shiftless Mexican welfare bum, Canada has a lot to offer.

Candice reminds us how, if foreign low-lifes can ooze into Ontario, their greedy snouts will instantly be afforded access to welfare and healthcare services above and beyond what most Canadians receive, including full dental coverage.

    ………………………………………

    • a22ee-snoutsintrough
    • …………………………….
    • And even in the other provinces, yummy benefits are on offer, not least to ‘asylum’ parasites who have never contributed anything to the Dominion. This aspect is relevant, as in 2008, nearly 10,000 Mexicans claimed to be refugees and asked Canada for asylum. About 90% of those asylum claimants from were eventually found to be bogus, requiring deportations on Canada’s dime.  http://www.torontosun.com/2015/06/26/mexican-visa-requirement-a-must .

The article notes that in 2009 a visa was introduced, and by 2013 the number of Mexican asylum seekers went down to just 84, most of which were accepted as legitimate refugees.

Maybe – Canadian immigration, in the past, let tons of garbage through – how did the Khadr tribe arrive, after all? And all those filthy Tamil ingrates?

‘Poor, Persecuted’Tamils? Out with Them, Canada!

    • Toronto- ‘legitimate’ Tamil ‘refugees’ engage in mass havoc, to punish the land that took them in

    =======================================================

    • But save that issue, who are ‘legitimate refugees,‘ for another day.

    • Trying to round up those 10,000 liars must have cost millions. With undesirable aliens, it’s not just sending out a cop or two to pick ’em up and chain ’em to an airplane seat.

There’s an entire industry grown-up (since Turdo SENIOR’s time) consisting of agitprop outfits that fawn over alien intruders, and of vile lawyers who get sleek – but still slimy – from court/tribunal law-fare on behalf of such unwanted and unwelcome swine.

Who pays them? NOT the swine!

    Now there’s a thought.

If Turdo opens the gates wide, and disables what defences Harper and Co. have managed to insert into Canadian immigration, if it becomes SO easy to gate-crash the country and batten on its resources, how are the legal lice going to bleed the tax-payers?

Even if he had better ideas, he is so obviously a lightweight , not a fit and proper leader for a country that takes itself seriously

Hungary’s Immigration Survey – ‘Horrible?’ Or Admirable? You Be The Judge!

    power-to-the-people-17-10-13
    —————————————————————————
Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has just this month launched a public consultation on migration in order to confront existing EU rules, in an exercised dubbed “horrible” by one  liberal MEP.                    https://euobserver.com/beyond-brussels/128513

I figured the survey can’t be far wrong if a liberal loathes it, so I looked it up.

    What do you think?

My own view is that EVERY civilised country facing alien hordes ought to be doing something similar.

    It’s called DEMOCRACY!

    But what’s your opinion?

    00000000000

All Hungarians, who are eligible to vote, are soon to receive a questionnaire.

    The questions are as follows:

    1. 1. How important is the spread of terrorism as far as your own life is concerned?
    2. 2. In your opinion, could Hungary become the target of terrorism in the next few years?
    3. 3. Some say that mistaken immigration policies by Brussels contribute to the spread of terrorism. Do you agree?
    4. 4. Did you know that economic immigrants cross the border illegally and that lately their numbers have increased 20-fold?
    5. 5. Do you agree with the opinion that economic immigrants endanger the jobs and livelihoods of the Hungarian people?
    6. 6. Some say that Brussels’ policies on immigration and terrorism have failed. Do you agree?
    7. 7. Would you support the Hungarian government in its effort to introduce stricter immigration regulations than those of Brusselsʼ?
    8. 8. Would you support a new regulation that would allow the Hungarian government to place immigrants who illegally entered the country in custody?
    9. 9. In your opinion should those immigrants who illegally enter Hungary be returned to their own countries as soon as possible?
    10. 10. Do you agree that those economic immigrants who stay in Hungary should have to make money to cover the cost of their keep?
    11. 11. Do you agree that the best means of combating immigration is to give economic assistance to the countries of origin of the immigrants?
    12. 12. Do you agree with the Hungarian government that instead of allocating funds to immigration we should support Hungarian families and those children yet to be born?

The deadline to send back the completed questionnaire to the Hungarian government for consideration is July 1, and its postage is free of charge. Early Friday morning, Hungaryʼs Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in his fortnightly interview with state-owned Kossuth radio that the borders of the European Union must be protected from immigrants.

Well, nothing remotely ‘horrible,’ is there?

In fact I wish Orban or somebody like him were PM of every Western land, because then we might have a fighting chance of survival.

Mind you, let’s see if he acts on the completed consultation forms first.

      Bloody brilliant.
We need a government like that.
I’m speaking for everyone in my family, spread over three Commonwealth countries.
