Chief Inspector Umer Khan, or any cop who holds such views, is clearly unfit to hold any position in the police of any country that is not an Islamic Republic.

Sgt Umer Khan, 35, claimed he was prevented from becoming an inspector because of his race. The case was dismissed after a five-day tribunal hearing in Manchester….

It may be that Chief Inspector Umer Khan is NOT the same person as Sergeant Umer Khan. Maybe it’s a common name in Pakistani circles in Northern England. But it’s odd, two men of similar appearance, mouthy gits from what we read. 

The 2009 whinge resulted in the then Chief Constable saying it was  disappointing that Sgt Khan felt it necessary to take his grievances to a tribunal but we have always felt that his allegations were unfair and unfounded.

This has now been confirmed by the decision of the tribunal.

I had the Jehovah’s Witnesses at my garden-gate recently (yes, even here in Jakarta they come a-knocking!) but I sent them politely on to my poor neighbours. No way would I turn my coat. We’ve been loyal Protestants for centuries.

But if other people ponder long and deep and wish to switch faiths, I respect their right to do so. And every religion should be free to seek recruits too. 

For the Malaysian Government to say that only ONE creed may seek converts is an outrage. It means they are actively condoning apostasy among Christians, Hindus and Buddhists, while simultaneously, within their national territory, the PAS primitives are planning to inflict stoning of Muslim apostates, in Kelantan.

What a benighted society they are building.

President Urges Tolerance, State Flunkeys Declare War on Valentines!

If the kids do Valentine things in school, not paying attention to their lessons, certainly the Education Agency has the right and duty to warn them off.

But that’s not the case..

The office distributed a circular to school principals advising them to caution students against violating “ethical and moral teachings” on Valentine’s Day.

Mind you, it has to be said that Jambi has a singular take on what’s ‘ethical and moral.‘

That’s nonsense. It’s up to the kids how they feel about religion. And unless they break the law, not existing norms, what they do outside school is none of Mulyad’s business.
