Sad, That Herry Wirawan’s Not To Hang!

Herry Wirawan has been found guilty in a case that has garnered worldwide attention –

‘Islamic boarding school teacher avoids death penalty or chemical castration as he is jailed for life for raping THIRTEEN pupils and impregnating nine of them in Indonesia’

– and will not be forcing his vile demands on any other young girls for a long time.

But it’s a great shame, in my opinion, that Indonesia is not making good use of the death penalty –

Hanging or shooting, I’m not fussy, but capital punishment is the best option!

– as I’ve said before.

One can only hope the mild sentence is not a response to undesirable neo-colonialist influences –

Java Crack-Down After Anti-Christ Desecration!

Horrible story from the city of Solo, in Indonesia’s Central Java province, where a gang of children smashed up Christian graves.

But better news quickly heard, that the mayor ‘has vowed to shut down an Islamic school’ which the perpetrators attend.

Gibran Rakabuming Raka is not only the mayor but also the son of President Jokowi.

The nasty little brutes, aged 5-12, ‘broke off crosses of 12 Christian graves in the public cemetery on June 19.’

Mayor Raka went to the scene and was suitably appalled.

“We will close the school and dismiss its teachers because they are teaching intolerance to their students, Raka told reporters after the visit.

 He added that the ‘school’ had no permit from local government and ‘urged police to prosecute the teachers and punish the students despite them being children. Their actions were a gross act of intolerance, he said.

Curiously, the report says the ‘school’ has not been named, yet goes on to quote its head, a man calling himself Ustad Mujair (‘ustad‘ just means cleric)

He denies  ‘teaching intolerance or that teachers encouraged the children to vandalize the graves.’

It’s important to emphasise that this kind of behaviour is uncommon here and most Muslims abhor it.
