Bravo, Bolsonaro! Defend Brazil Against Chile-Style Appeasement!

Good to hear Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro warn the reds that his country will not be about to emulate Chile’s appeasement of the riotous rabble.

    .

    Jair Bolsonaro

“A protest is one thing,” he said. “Vandalism, terrorism is another thing entirely. If you set fire to buses, kill innocent people, set fire to banks, invade ministries, that is no protest,” he said.

Most people who followed recent events in Chile were shocked at the speed and malevolence with which subversives transformed protests about a rise public transport fares…

    .

    .

    ….into an insurrection.

Most people who know anything about Chilean history, however, remember that many on the Left there have always had a contempt for democracy.

There was the unforgettable headline in a leftist publication during the chaotic Allende regime, which, if I remember right, reported a narrow election win for the anti-communist parties as –

The Reactionaries 51%, The People 49%’

    ….

The true face of Latin American marxism

    Seriously!

There has always been a large chunk of the electorate there wedded to leftism…

…far-leftism, indeed, exemplified by Old Bat Bachelet…

Exit Uppity Arab – Red Bat Flies In!

….but since Pinochet retired after losing a democratic contest to the left, 30 something years ago…

.You can find the ‘Reactionary’ shocker described above in this excellent book!

    .

…reasonably ‘moderate’ left and right governments have alternated in power, much as left and right governments come and go in European countries.

Democratic channels existed for the Chilean electorate to change governments and change parties.

Yet if you read some ‘mainstream media’ coverage of the situation, it’s like peering through a very opaque looking-glass.

Take this laughable shrilling from the tax-funded bias channel in France.

For the past month, Chile has witnessed unprecedented mass protests. Demonstrators are angry at the ultra free-market model established during the Pinochet dictatorship, which remains in force today and has turned the country into one of the most unequal in the world.

In response to the rallies, President Sebastián Piñera and his government have resorted to a violent crackdown: a return to the methods of dictatorship. FRANCE 24’s team reports from the ground.

    https://www.france24.com/en/americas/20191115-reporters-chile-protest-movement-pinochet-pinera-dictatorship-crackdown

Nothing new about France24’s hatred of the anti-communist cause, of course.

    France24 V Brazilian People’s Choice!

Of course there’s inequality, as there is everywhere. But if you skip France24’s fatuous rhetoric, if you look at factual reporting, get this.

In a region where GDP growth can often fortify the rich and leave the poor behind, Chile’s economic policies, through both center-right and center-left administrations, have slashed the poverty rate from 40 percent in 1990 to less than 10 percent now, boosting the ranks of the middle class.

    https://www.worldpoliticsreview.com/articles/28290/if-chile-can-erupt-over-inequality-anywhere-can

That article levels serious criticism against Chile, but nothing remotely sufficient to justify the violent havoc seen in the past month.

And importantly, even the poorest Chilean is better off than the average Cuban, for example, in that the poor in Chile have the right to vote for whomsoever they wish, from far-left through the entire spectrum to far-right.

Some Chileans understand the true nature of the menace, like former Foreign Minister Luis Gonzales Posada, who has ‘warned that there is an international conspiracy, apparently from the Venezuelan government…

    …..

….to destabilize democracy in different countries of South America, and thus establish a regime of the radical left…’

    https://www.expreso.com.pe/destacado-portada/hay-una-conspiracion-internacional-en-curso/

We have now witnessed the rage of the reds in Colombia too, another country long governed by democratic parties taking turns as decreed by the electorate.

    .

But again a land where evil marxists made war on democracy, Sinn Fein/IRA’s narco-gang comrades of FARC.

A perfectly legitimate election a year ago gave power to President Duque…

So You’re ‘Far-Right’ If You Won’t Appease Terrorism!

….but street-mobs are trying to bully him down as their counterparts did to Pinera in Chile.

So three cheers for Brazil’s Bolsonaro.

If the marxists there seek to stir up strife against the elected government, which was chosen freely in preference to a clique in which Communists played a key role…

….and whose candidate ran in tandem with a notorious Brazilian Communist Party activist…

….then the security forces should be ordered to smash the swine!

So You're 'Far-Right' If You Won't Appease Terrorism!

We might have expected Telesur, the ultra-left Latin American ‘news’ outlet, to brand Ivan Duque, who yesterday easily defeated an ex-terrorist in Colombia to become the country’s president, as the candidate of the ‘far-right…’

Colombian FarRight Candidate Duque Wins Presidential Elections

…but that’s Telesur. We have identified their brand of poison in the past!

Here’s a clip from our post on another Latin American matter, a year and a half ago….

Aliens Ice-Cold In Serbia? Ship ‘Em To Ecuador!

    …when we described Telesur’s character!

    ooooooooooooooo

    …a red rag-site called Telesur
    oooooooooooo
    000000000
    ….
    …..
…which, if you hadn’t heard, is a multi-state funded, pan-Latin-American terrestrial and satellite television network sponsored by the governments of Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Bolivia.
    ======
Telesur is a swamp of propaganda.
It publishes tantrum-esque tirades from creeps who hate European people prepared to resist invasion like last year’s demented diatribe demanding an end to Europe’s Racist and Murderous Migration Regime…
    0000000000000000

Yes, that’s Telesur, but I just this morning heard some daft DW bint call Duque ‘far-right!’

    =

    =

    • Yet they are only following in the footsteps of some of the most rancid American media.

….which leads us to ask why these foul propagandists (hardly journalists!) have chosen to smear Duque in this manner.

Telesur is just marxist broadcasting and they make no serious effort to hide that.
The NYT is still pretending to be a newspaper but as your cartoon shows, few Americans take it seriously as a news source.
They always were bad and dishonest, going back to the 1930s and their Soviet Pulitzer putz, Walter the Liar. Nothing much has changed and nothing is going to.
I would say now they have Soros as a share-holder, it might get worse, but that has to be impossible.
When something hits rock-bottom, it cannot get any lower.

This Duque wants to stop amnesty for terrorists. He thinks it wrong to bribe them with political power as a reward for them not murdering any more innocent people.
      That makes him far right.
      Really?
Can we have him running the UK for a few years?

Colombia – Sell-Out No More? Good Luck, Senor Duque!

Apart from its essential immorality, the way it let off terrorist red scum with slap-on the wrist sentences…

    .

    • ….and rewarding the same marxist FARC swine with seats in the national parliament –  no matter nobody would vote for them! – the worst aspect of The Santos Sell-Out in Colombia was, and is, how its sponsor deliberately flouted basic democratic principles.

We made a lot of noise about that when it happened.Colombian Sell-Out Santos Crawls To Reds, Betrays Democracy

Now, however, the people are getting a very belated chance to have their say, albeit not via a referendum as it should have been, but by a presidential election.

And the good news is that latest polls indicate the good guy will win!

      Candidate Ivan Duque

Ivan Duque has declared that he would revise it in order to sentence guerrilla leaders guilty of serious crimes to “proportional penalties.” And he wants to cut off their access to Congress, enshrined in the agreement.    https://www.journalducameroun.com/en/farc-peace-deal-in-limbo-as-right-closes-on-colombia-presidency/

    ‘Proportional penalties?”

    =

I’d say firing squads would offer the appropriate penalties for red terror, but so long as Duque’s steps are tougher than the namby-pamby nonsense envisaged by Slimer Santos, no worries!

The election is tomorrow, so we must wait till Monday for the outcome, but fingers crossed for The Man!

The Lousy Legacy Of Colombia’s Cur!

While we must hope that Senor Duque, ahead in the first round of Colombia’s presidential election will defeat his ‘reformed‘ guerilla (aka left-terrorist) rival in the run-off…

    =

    Gambar terkait

    Candidate Ivan Duque

….perhaps the most pleasing words we read in the Guardian report are those that reveal how the slimy U.N.-honoured cur Santos, who spat in the face of Colombia’s democracy is now the least popular within living memory, on an “unfavourable” rating of 63%.  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/28/colombia-presidential-elections-ivan-duque-gustavo-petro-runoff

    And no wonder.

    Sell-out Santos

….the rat contemptuously tinkered with the deal, made merely cosmetic changes, then rammed it through the legislature, cravenly refusing to risk any further ballot-box consultation.

The Guardian opines that the current election is akin to a ‘second referendum’ on the sell-out, all the more reason to hope for a Duque victory on 17th June.

That sensible man shared most Colombians’ dismay at the way Santos guaranteed seats in congress for the red scum regardless of how pitifully low the total votes they got, and even more at the piddling, puny sentencing decreed for their typically barbarous communist crimes.

    ========
It’s up to him, of course, but if Senor Duque does triumph next month, I’d say a good start to his term of office would be to hold an actual second referendum, with serious options for voters to choose from.
Restoration of capital punishment for terrorist treason could be one such.

And tough re-sentencing, along with the cancellation of those undemocratic appointments – they were NOT ‘elected’- of FARC filth to the nation’s parliament, should also be on the menu.

I think you’ll find you spelled guerrilla wrongly. You are not very handy with commas either. If you want to blog, you need a grammar book.
Nothing to say about your world-view, except that.you might have been a lot less beside yourself if you had been born a century earlier, when the sun never set on the British Empire.
We Irish always maintained that was because the Lord wouldn’t trust them to behave in the dark.

Sean, you can crit Ross for spelling guerilla like this but I looked it up and both your spelling and his are acceptable.
I have looked at his commas in this blog post about Santos and he has misused one or two but if you look at most of what he writes, he makes few mistakes in grammar or punctuation.
Let he or she that is without sin…
My grammer and spelling is folty offen so dont maik a big deel of it, pleeze.
