Hallelujah – Jakarta Shows Sectarian Satellites What Religious Freedom Means!

Good for Jakarta’s Governor Ahok, and what a contrast to the sectarian bigots in the satellite cities around the capital.

Metrotvnews.com reports that he will NOT force an East Jakarta Protestant church to close, just because they lack the needful building permit. Instead, he’s going to help the Christians GET their permit.Protestant Church of Indonesia (GKPI) in Jatinegara is not to be dismantled. In fact, the church will be helped in the licensing process….

Compare and contast, with the grim intolerance of Bekasi, where the fanatic Regent, No-Shame Neneng, had a church demolished, amid a crowd of weeping congregants and shrilling Islamist hate-freaks.

Golkar’s Dilemma – Is Bakrie Big Enough to Dump Neneng On Bantar Gebang?

Compare and contrast with Depok, where the fanatics who run the city used Communist-tactics to SEIZE a mosque belonging to the minority Ahmadis.

Compare and contrast with the extremists of Bogor, where the Mayor continues to deny   Christians the right to worship in their GKI Yasmin Church, sealed in defiance of a Supreme Court ruling.

Unlike the backward bullies in the cities that surround the capital, Indonesians in Jakarta will feel a thrill of pride in their Governor, who smartly quotes the Government Regulations which require local governments to assist such houses of worship.

“They’ve been praying since ’72….it is set out in Joint Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs and the Minister of the Interior No. 9 2006 / No. 8 of 2006 regarding Implementation Guidelines for religious houses of worship in operation since before 2006, if I’m not mistaken..they’re to be assisted.”

And listen also to his clever way of reminding us who are the real offenders in this matter of building places of worship withut proper permits.

“If you want to talk straight, all those mosques converted from private houses, are we going to have to close them?

    BINGO!

    congratulationssuperjob

    How often does that happen?

Meanwhile, while the process goes ahead, Ahok will ensure that worship continues undisturbed.  http://news.metrotvnews.com/read/2015/07/25/150673/soal-gereja-di-jatinegara-ahok-rumah-ibadah-lama-harus-dibantu

This is great news not only for the obvious reason, religious liberty, but also for the spin-off advantage…

……….it will infuriate Jakarta’s IslamoNazi thugs, who have previously been reported on the scene, trying as ever to exploit building rule technicalities to suppress religious minority rights.

Jakarta Mosque Mayhem – IslamoNazi Louts Silence Moderate!

Gus Nuril, in green, forced off by IslamoNazi louts
    ——————————-

Merdeka.com reports that a distinguished Islamic scholar, Nuril Arifin Husein, known as Gus Nuril, was silenced by  a gang of shriek-freaks from the IslamoNazi FPI, self-styled ‘Defenders of Islam.’

The incident took place in East Jakarta, in the area of Jatinegara, at the Assuada Mosque, a week ago, but I’ve only just been sent the report by one of my Indonesian readers.

He was lecturing on the origins of Islam in the archipelago when white-shirt layabouts began to scream and yell, no doubt upset by the obvious disparity between their own benighted ignorance and the words of an educated man.

But, as all too often happens when there’s an ignoramus outbreak here, the victim won’t fight back.

Gus Nuril reckons it was only a misunderstanding.

    • I was explaining how Islam arrived from 4 countries, but when it came to the arrival from China, suddenly the sound system went dead, and the committee asked me to step down, “said Gus Nuril on Wednesday (25/2).

By strange coincidence, however, at that moment, the FPI were clamoring for his lecture to be stopped.

Gus is very much a mild-mannered Clark-Kent type. “He added that the issue would not be brought into the realm of law. He as a parent understood the behaviour of young children.   http://www.merdeka.com/peristiwa/ceramah-di-masjid-assuada-jatinegara-gus-nuril-diusir-fpi.html

    Spare the rod…etc.

These vicious intolerants have been spared the rod for far too long.

Curious, I checked other news sites, and found that the IslamoNazis’ ‘high priest’ – former Fuhrer Habib Rizeiq – had squealed his support for the Hitler Youth clones’ anti-social antics.  http://nasional.rimanews.com/peristiwa/read/20150224/198112/Habib-Rizieq-Dukung-Pengusiran-Gus-Nuril

    Ahok ahok

It seems Gus Nuril, who runs an Islamic boarding school in Semarang, had the audacity to express goodwill towards Jakarta’s Chinese-ethnic and Christian Governor Ahok, whom the fanatics detest on purely sectarian grounds (oh, yeah, and because Ahok ‘calls people names!‘)

Fanatic Islamist Wails At Christian Governor – “He Calls People Names!”

The rancid bigotry of the FPI has been a source of dismay and embarrassment to decent Indonesians of all creeds for years.

    Ahok wants them banned.

    Not before time!

President Jokowi holds the key to success, but will he use it?

Not according to Ms. Sidney Jones, of the Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict (IPAC)

So far the government has not shown firmness in handling FPI vigilantism.

    ———————–

Jones was speaking in Jakarta, about her new book The Dark Side of Democracy: Civil Society Violence in Indonesia ‘(26/2).

    http://www.merdeka.com/peristiwa/sidney-jones-sebut-pemerintah-tak-pernah-tegas-pada-fpi.html

Ms Jones is a pretty smart lady, and she went on to cite examples of Islamist lawless brutality, including the Monas Riot of 2008, the oppression of the Protestant GKI church in Bogor, and the government’s cowardly cave-in on the Miss World contest venue.

    • “From all these events…the state (the security forces) obeyed the agenda of the FPI, to cancel or dissolve the activities that were considered unacceptable,” said Jones.

    Very true.

And as the news from Jatinegara shows, it’s not just minority creeds that these primitive predators harass, but decent Muslims too.

If Pak Presiden can hang tough on the drug-smuggler issue, can’t he show the same determination to rescue his country from the white-clad forces of darkness, fanatics who disgust everybody with a conscience?
