    Pity Purwodadi – Vampirical Beasts Prowl In Java?

     In the backwoods of Java, something strange is happening.

    Something wicked this way comes?

    Gambar terkait=====

    A most alarming story in the ever-amazing Jakarta Post, about the residents of the hitherto obscure township of Purwodadi, who have been coming across goats fallen prey to an alleged attack by an unknown predator, which many suspected to be a blood-sucking herd of wild animals.

    http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/09/11/yogyakarta-village-shocked-by-chupacabra-like-attack.html

    Scary stuff – and one feels sorry for the villagers, whose livestock  has been turning up  with bite marks on their neck and legs and … no blood left in the animals’ body.

    But while the JP headline tells us where Purwodadi is…

    Yogyakarta village shocked by Chupacabra-like attack

    …its reference to Chupacabra is absolutely baffling.

    I have read and re-read the entire report, and NOWHERE can I discern any definition of what Chupacabra actually is!

    Indeed, whoever wrote and edited the report must be an afficionado of Latin American folklore…

    =

    Hasil gambar untuk ghosties

    =

    …and must assume all readers share his or her expertise, because, despairing of any explanation within the odd newspaper’s website, I turned to wikipedia, and lo…

    The chupacabra or chupacabras is a legendary creature in the folklore of parts of the Americas, with its first purported sightings reported in Puerto Rico.

    Immigration Ministry please investigate!

    Three Cheers for Banyumas!

    A total of 15 mass organizations in Banyumas rejected the draft declaration of the Islamic Defenders Front in Banyumas. They agreed to reject the arrival and declaration of the FPI leader…

        http://regional.liputan6.com/read/2441376/fpi-ditolak-masuk-banyumas

    They also put up banners expressing this rejection throughout Banyumas, with five key points listed.

    Benteng Nusantara is what they’re calling their campaign against the Islamist bigots, the ‘Fortress of the Islands,’ and the coordinator, Yudho F Sudiro, detailed those points- viz..

    Firstly, they condemn anarchist actions undertaken by FPI.

    Second, they reject ALL forms of FPI activities in Banyumas.

    Third, Banyumas is peaceful –  the presence of FPI can make Banyumas ‘not conducive.’

    Fourth, rejection of the presence of the IslamoNazi ‘high priest’ Habib Rizieq and other FPI notables in Banyumas.

    Fifth, an exhortation to local leaders not to give space to mass organizations affiliated with the extreme right and left in Banyumas.

    00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

    That sounds to me like they’re making the comparison many people have drawn between the outlawed PKI – the Indonesian Communist Party – and the FPI, which, like the Reds, has a long record of violence and contempt for Indonesian democratic values.

    0000000000

    Habib Rizieq (left) with infamous advocate of violence Abu Bakr Ba’asyir (currently doing time!)

    000000000000

    There certainly is an inconsistency that the marxist outfit is banned but the jihadist outfit isn’t.

    However, the white-shirt thug gang seems determined to press on with their Banyumas launch. And Rizieq is expected to show up sooner rather than later. Their gauleiter from nearby Cilacap, Ridho Anshori says that if all goes according to plan,Rizieq will induct FPI Banyumas…

    Then he gratuitously insulted the community he intends to subject to IslamoNazi attention, saying that “the formation of Banyumas FPI will bring serious benefits, because immorality in Banyumas is extraordinary compared to Cilacap…”

    Ominously, after what happened last time…

    Bravo, Banyumas! Decent Muslims Stand Up To IslamoNazi FPI!

    …Gauleiter Ridho is hoping that the police look after his vigilante pack.

    “If there is a security breach, and so on, we also have the law enforcement officers, the police.”

    Rizieq was scheduled to appear today. If he defies the locals, it will be interesting to see if the cops back the people or the IslamoNazis.

    Prost! Javanese Beer – Better Taste Than Prohibition!

    ====

    Went into Carrefour last week, and my eyes lit up to see decent-sized bottles of beer for just Rp.25,000 each, a ‘special,’ and a brand I’ve not seen before!

    Naturally I bought some.

    With the backward bigots pushing for prohibition throughout Indonesia..

    ‘Creeping Shariah,’ Warns Prof. Muhammed, As Jakarta Dims!

    …it seemed prudent to stock up, though regrettably stocks in my humble home tend to dwindle speedily on hot sunny afternoons.

    •  One of which was yesterday – between rains! – and hence it was with a sense of anticipation that I sampled the new brew.
    • Not a bad brew, and a lot tastier than the prospect of a nationwide booze-ban, which the primitive parties launched but nobody seems to be blocking.
    • Only the Balinese are making their voices heard, plus a few others, like –

    …the chairman of the Association of Alcoholic Beverage Distributors (ADMA), Frendy Karmana, said he hoped the legislators considering the proposed legislation will send a team to Bali to consider local cultural and community aspects of the proposed ban.

    “Don’t rush to create a law that will outlaw (alcoholic drink) everywhere. There are civil rights and the diversity of the natural culture that must be considered in any discussion of a new law that will make the law clear and certain for all concerned,” he said. http://www.balidiscovery.com.

    • Drink up, while we still can.

    Senang Sekali! Warteg Buka…Plus Plus – FOUR Reasons to be Cheerful!

    The warteg is open once more!

    oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    • warteg
    • oooooooooooooooooooooooo
    • I’d travelled all the way up to Citraland, got some bread etc., then, having purchased gado2 at the place I mentioned the other day (sadly sans that beauty who’d served me previously – looked her mum was on duty today!) I hopped an angkot back towards HQ.
    • When I passed my culinary nirvana, sealed up tighter than a minority house of worship in Bekasi since nearly two weeks ago…WOW!

     It was open, signs of life within!

    So out of the angkot and in I went, to be greeted like a prodigal by the proprietrix, though it was she who had gone far away, now returned from distant Tegal.

    And not only she – there are THREE new waitresses too, all of them, when I walked in, busily cleaning up to start a fesh year of cooking tonight, serving tomorrow.

    • …………….
    • I’ll miss the other gals, now deposited back in their kampungs, somewhere around that city by the sea, but it’s always fun to make new friends too.

    The Javanese teens watched me warily, astounded, maybe a trifle alarmed, at a bule on the premises. However, no doubt the good lady who employs them will have, by now, explained that I’m a regular, apart from the lunchtime crowd, probably one of their best customers!

    I wonder if they will emulate their predecessors and ask for English classes while serving up cap cay, perkadel, tahu, etc.

    A VERY Good Muslim Lady Breakfasts in Java!

    I missed this news item from a few weeks ago, but it demands attention, so people overseas get a fairer impression of Indonesia.

    Sinta Nuriyah is a devout Muslim, the widow of President Gus Dur, who was not only Head of State here but an outstanding Islamic scholar – a real scholar, not one of those ranters we read about too often from the MUI.  http://www.asianews.it/news-en/Indonesian-Ulema-in-favour-of-female-circumcision:-a-human-right-26948.html

    ===============

    • ===================
    • And she declared her intention to break her fast one morning last month with the victims of IslamoNazi persecution, the Ahmadi religious minority “Our Prayers Disturbed His!” Pluralism in Jokowi’s Jakarta?   in a show of solidarity with the oppressed.
    • The event was inclusive of the mainstream Muslim body, the Nahdlatul Ulama, Ahmadis, Shia…also a number of religious leaders, Christian, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist, and Confucian. In addition to maintaining inter-religious harmony, the event was aimed at helping orphans and people facing economic hardship….

    A pity our current President Jokowi doesn’t invite some Ahmadis to join him for a similar event at his Palace downtown!

    But it’s not just Sinta’s actions, but the location that stood out in the Tempo.com report. She was making her point in Central Java’s Wonosobo Regency, right next door to Temanggung, where, in fact, she’d stopped off prior to her Wonosobo breakfast.

    ==========================================

    • Hasil gambar untuk wonosobo temanggung

    ============================

    And that proximity highlights the kulturkampf that afflicts Indonesia’ Muslims – the Javanese tradition of live and let live, on the one hand – I often have Javanese Muslims as welcome guests in my home –  and, on the other hand, the determination by very unpleasant elements to Arabise the land.

    IslamoNazi Slams Jew-Collaborating Fascists Who Say ‘Good Morning!’

    ————————————————————————–

    • devil destroyed
    • Such elements seek to drag Indonesia into the dark realm of shrouded women, subjugated minorities and heinous crimes against so-called ‘apostates’ and ‘blasphemers,’ respectively people who think for themselves how they should or should not worship, and those who acknowledge that God is Great but religion should be open to criticism. .

    Wonosobo has a deserved reputation for religious tolerance.

    But not Temanggung! A few years ago it was the scene of some of the most disgraceful sectarian mayhem Indonesia has witnessed.

    Filthy savages ran amok in blasphemous attacks on Christian churches, the spark for the primitives’ riot being a court verdict.

    A Statue of Jesus Among the Rubble in Temanggung Statue of Jesus vandalised by blasphemous swine

    In a blasphemy case!

    The poor guy in the dock had done nothing particularly serious, but the blood-thirsty bigot mob wanted him put to death!

    And when the terrified judge issued the maximum sentence allowed, five years, they boiled over, their ugly hate made manifest all over town.

    =========

    ————-

    The judge had to do a runner to escape their vicious vengeance!

    You can read about it here     .

    Security forces had to turn out in strength to restore order, but when the ring-leader was brought to justice, he only got a slap on the wrist, and is out and about again, no doubt still busily inciting hatred.

    And these sectarian gangster-groups are not above crossing provincial boundaries if there are innocent victims to be had.

    So all the more should Sinta, an old and infirm lady, ever-ready to show good will to all and let her voice be heard, deserve applause for her decency and guts. Her late husband must be proud of her.

    A cautionary tale for those who make unwarranted generalisations about Muslims.

    Erwiana OKE! Now PUNISH the Evil Bitch Guilty of Tormenting Her!

    This combo shows an undated handout photograph provided by her family and released by Indonesia's Migrant Care on Jan 22, 2014, shows a recent undated image of Indonesian maid Erwiana Sulistyaningsih (left) and the same girl sitting in a wheelchair (right) at a hospital in the Indonesian city of Sragen on Jan 15, 2013, with injuries sustained after she was allegedly tortured by her employer. -- FILE PHOTO: AFP<br />

    Erwiana, before, and after being battered and brutalised, by a fiend in female form.

    We covered this months ago…

    Kasihan Erwiana – Another TKI Come to Grief

    …and today we hear that the demoness, Law Wan Tung, who maltreated her has been found guilty.Warga Hong Kong Dinyatakan Bersalah Siksa TKI

    We must hope that the maximum penalty, life imprisonment, will be imposed.

    Now we are told Indonesia’s Government must do more to safeguard its TKIs, citizens working overseas, usually little kampung gals from Java and the other islands.

    Quite right.

    But just as important is the need to safeguard them here in Indonesia, from criminals who recruit them, ship them out, to agents and employers who abuse them.

    AND when they get home!

    All too often, corrupt swine rip them off at the airport.

    Ayo, KPK. Drag the Airport Scum Out of the Shadows – String ‘Em Up!

    It’s GOT to stop..
