Angry Cats Protest Systemic Speciesism – Hats 'Inappropriate!'

Absurd, yes, but we can laugh if I depict my young distractions in protest (?) mode over ‘The Cat In A Hat.’

‘We never wear hats- we’re totally cats!’

Not so funny the cultural vandalism of the creeps entrusted with the legacy of the globally popular Dr Seuss books….

The Cat in the Hat - Wikipedia

…six of which are to be suppressed ‘because of racially insensitive imagery.

At least the cringers are not building bonfires Nazi-style, like the big Gramedia publishing company here in Indonesia…

…but merely discontinuing access to ‘inappropriate’ books, to prevent kids enjoying “If I Ran the Zoo, Scrambled Eggs Super, McElligot’s Pool and On Beyond Zebra!”

The asinine excuse put forward is that –

“These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” said the PC pukes, after ‘consulting experts and teachers.’

‘Experts’ are the last people mums or dads should trust when their offspring’s upbringing is concerned…

…and as for teachers, many are good-for-nothing subversives….

We Know BBC’s Infested But School Collabos MUST Be Fired!

…precisely the sort that might suffer ‘disquiet expressed over the way they portrayed non-white characters.’

    Oh, yeah? Like what?

‘…a character described as Chinese has two lines for eyes, carries chopsticks and a bowl of rice, and wears traditional Japanese-style shoes…’

Apart from the shoes, what’s wrong with that? Is rice not the staple diet in China? Were chopsticks not invented there? If you are asked to describe a typical Chinaman, are not the shape of his eyes an obvious place to start.

    Oh, and get this!

‘…two men from Africa as shirtless, shoeless and wearing grass skirts as they carry an exotic animal..’

If you want to portray a Scot, would a kilt be out of place…

…even though most Scots rarely if ever wear kilts?

    Who the Hell cares?

Would the Africans be better depicted wearing fur coats and wellies?

Dr Seuss Enterprises’ inane and censorious statement added insult to the late author to the PC injury inflicted on the young reading public.

The announcement was timed to coincide with the anniversary of late American author and illustrator’s birthday.

The report reminds us that ‘Dr Seuss was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame‘ not so long ago, but the facts that children undoubtedly ENJOY his works matters nothing to the uptight pinko gas-bags.

Their pusillanimous pronunciamento makes one wish to vomit.

As we become more culturally responsive and racially conscious, all building leaders should know that in recent years there has been research revealing radical undertones in the books written and the illustrations drawn by Dr Seuss.”

There’s quite a lot more cultural marxist hogwash in the UK Pravda report, if you can put up with reading it.

    Being the BBC…

…few if any rebuttals from sane people are included.

Oh, and ‘The Cat In The Hat?’

My indignant felines can stay their protest – that famous example, one of Dr Seuss’s most popular books, has also received criticism but will continue to be published for now.’

PS That report included references to other outrageous censorship I hadn’t heard about.

Other popular children’s books have been criticised in recent years for alleged racism.

Babar’s Travels was removed from the shelves of libraries in East Sussex in the UK after complaints of racism from words used such as “savage cannibals…”

So in the official pinko creep view, it’s wrong to call cannibals ‘savages?’ Or is it wrong to call savages ‘cannibals?’

Canada – Red Indian Tantrums, Gutless Oiks, Odd Spellings…

In Montreal, protests disrupted commuter train service on the Exo’s Candiac line, forcing the regional transit authority to sub in buses…

Sounds like Canada’s suffering the same sort of anti-social tantrum antics that the X-Stinkos have been inflicting on Brits!

But reading the report reveals that Red Indians are the main trouble-makers in this case…

If Magua was around today, he’d be obstructing commuters too!

…. ‘blocking the Canadian Pacific rail line, impacting commuters at a number of stations.

And what a supine response by ‘officials,’ who instead of calling in the cops, are ‘keeping an eye on the situation!’

    Useless plonkers!

The hapless dorks declare that ‘service could be disrupted for an indefinite period…’

    That’s a damned disgrace.

Elsewhere in Canada, we read in the same story, the Mounties seem to have been doing a good job, judging from the whining heard from evicted agitators, not yet as raucous as the ranting by undesirables when malevolent Mohawks ran amok some years ago….

Mohawk mayhem, seven years back, when the Ontario Provincial Police betrayed their duty to protect public order

    …but noisily enough!

.But going through the whole news spectrum, I find only one gem of sanity, from Max Bernier.

Maxime comments about the blockades happening in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs: We cannot allow a tiny minority of reactionary fanatics to paralyze our economy.

    #PPC2019 #PeoplesParty #PartiPopulaire #BernierNation #CdnPoli

There is also a more general matter I have long meant to have a word about – the ridiculous re-spelling of Red Indian tribes’ names.

The page is headlined Wet’suwet’en Pipeline Protests, but is that name not pronounced Wetsuweten?

    Here’s wikipedia –

Witsuwitʼen is the correct spelling in the writing system in general use. In non-technical publications it is usually misspelled as Witsʼuwitʼen, Witʼsuwitʼen, Wetsʼuwetʼen, or Wetʼsuwetʼen due to the difficulty of distinguishing glottalized [ts] from plain [ts] and official spellings with <tsʼ> and <tʼs> in the name of the Wetʼsuwetʼen First Nation and the Office of the Wetʼsuwetʼen.

In point of fact the [ts] is not glottalized. Older spellings include Hotsotʼen and Hwotsotʼen. …

In other words, those apostrophes have just been inserted as some sort of affectation?

Who knows? Not me, because I had never heard of that tribe.

But I had heard of the Micmac Indians, on the far side of the Dominion.

That was how their name was always spelt but, childishly, that perfectly adequate usage is more or less banned now..

…the slavish media aping ‘academics’ who, wikipedia again tells us, discarded ‘Micmac’ as ‘colonially tainted.’

    Wo’t A Lo’t O’ Ro’t!

Good Guy Menashi Deserves Support – Get A Petition Going!

Steven Menashi, a Stanford-trained lawyer who clerked for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, wrote dozens of editorials and blog posts in the late 1990s and early 2000s for a number of college and professional publications decrying “leftist multiculturalism” and “PC orthodoxy.”

Trump judicial nominee Steven Menashi has faced intense criticism from the left. (George Mason University)

     Steven Menashi

He complained about “gynocentrists,” wrote that the Human Rights Campaign “incessantly exploited the slaying of Matthew Shepard for both financial and political benefit” and argued that a Dartmouth fraternity that held a “ghetto party” wasn’t being racist.

    Dashed fine fellow!

But that CNN witch-hunt report coincides with, and is clearly calculated further to incite, an upsurge of petitioning by undesirable ‘leftist multiculturalism’ fanatics….

…including the ever-unpleasant CAIR, a real Enemy Within whose hostility alone should suffice to rally patriots in Menashin’s support.

One of the Republicans on the Senate panel, John Kennedy of Louisiana, has shown signs of swithering on approval of a nominee whose views as a student were evidently admirable and who presumably still maintains much of his youthful principled approach to his country’s traditional values.

I hope Americans who want to remedy the left-liberal prejudices shown by various judges…

…who have ruled maliciously against wise Trump reforms, far too often, will deluge Kennedy and his colleagues with demands that they push this nomination through.

Over to you, dear readers in the USA!

He sounds like just what we need on the Supreme Court once that old buzzard Bader G makes way for somebody who cares about American values.
So we need to push for his present nomination so he will be ready for another step up, sooner rather than later, I hope.
