The headline is quite unequivocal.

But get this – Liar Juncker, characteristically, describes this authoritarian design as his vision of a ‘more democratic’ Europe.

The European Commission has outlined more than two dozen new proposals and initiatives….part of a larger effort by the institution to lay the course of what it describes as a “more democratic Europe.”

The proposals are geared towards priority areas defined by Jean-Claude Juncker, the EU Commission president.

Well, if that’s the case, no wonder the author of this EUObs piece remarks that ‘some of the ideas are likely to generate debate.’

Not least the Euro-Commissars’ plan to prevent EU states from using veto powers to block legislation in areas that usually demand an unanimous agreement, like in taxation.

So once more, sovereignty of the nation-states is the target, barely a year after the outrageous power-grab we saw when, contrary to standing practice, the rights of each member country to decide who could settle within their borders was overthrown.

Not, mind you, citizens of other EUSSR members, but ‘quotas’ of alien crimmigrants! Quotas determined by Brussels!

Taxation now tops the target for a further supranational seizure of power, removing that key attribute of self-government from control of the elected parliaments in every country…

To escalate the sick joke, we’re told of another scheme – ‘to set up, in a non-legislative proposal, a “democratically accountable” permanent European minister of economy and finance.’

Will these wise words now be followed by firm action?

Talk is cheap.

Is Mrs. May really threatening to scupper Juncker’s plan for mandatory redistribution of ‘asylum’ bludgers across Europe, a scheme rightly denounced by Hungary’s PM Viktor Orban as   “mad and unfair?”

Britain, Ireland and Denmark are effectively able to opt out of participating under EU law, which EU sources said could effectively sink the plan.”.
