EU members abstain as Britain defeated in UN vote on Chagos Islands
0000000000000000000
The UK has suffered a humiliating defeat at the United Nations general assembly in a vote over decolonisation…
=
Sounds like another re-run of those UN pukes’ hypocritical declarations of solidarity with Argie expansionism.
But it’s not.
This time the double standards are aimed at Britain’s residual hold over disputed territory in the Indian Ocean.
It’s the Chagos, not the Falkland, Islands this time, and if you had never heard of the former, join the club.
-===

===
Actually, I was vaguely aware of them, but no more than that. Much the same, I strongly suspect, as a lot of the dimwit Third World dingbats among the 94 UN delegates who supported a Mauritian-backed resolution this past week.
oooooooo
But at least those Third Worlders had backbone enough to make up their minds whose side they’re on.
The same can’t be said for Britain’s back-stabbing EU partners.

==
Even the Guardian report notes that these swine might have been expected to vote in support of another bloc member.
DEJA VU!

Ratbags who ordered their UN ambassadors to abstain included Muppet Macron, Mama Stasi Merkel, Red Tsipras…
-==

‘Mais oui, Geli, I will compensate les Anglais by giving them all the crimmigrants from Calais!’
‘Ach, Du bist mein perfect Muppetchen!’
===
….and other Euro-Turds from Spain, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, and Finland.
Speaking of turds, Justin Turdo placed Canada in the abstention box too.
BUT…
PLEASE NOTE, Donald Trump’s USA stood by Britain, one of only 15 nations with the guts and integrity to face down the decolon deadbeats.
ooooooo
The Mauritian representative at the UN said: “I’m elated. The results are beyond my expectations. It’s interesting that the EU didn’t support the UK….”
How much aid does his third-rate country get from UK tax-payers? Would he still be elated if the largesse were cut off tomorrow, which it should be, if his mangy ingrate government doesn’t apologise and stop whining?
But that’s by the way.
The real issue is why Theresa May still expects her wittering to be taken seriously. Only this week she came out with this drivel about the ‘European Union,’ via the Queen’s Speech.
We will continue to be reliable partners, willing allies and close friends.
Close friends?

With back-stabbing b-stards like Muppet and Mama Stasi?

More on the Chagos issue tomorrow

I like this, the idea of doing something, taking action not just sending letters or signing petitions.
If we look at the options there must be plenty of alternatives to Cyprus, even one of the abstainer countries, or stick to British territory and see Gibraltar!.
However, Israel is not that bad an idea.
I’ve never been there and would like to see all the old holy places. .
