‘Scholar’ Arrested! Why Would Anyone Be ‘Provoked?’

We have often discussed Indonesia’s “Council of Scholars…”‘

…and rarely had much to say about them…

“A Wise And Noble Step?” Islamic ‘Scholars’ On Terrorist Unleashed In Indonesia!

Bali Hindu King – Don’t Kill Our Cows! Muslim ‘Scholars’ – Get Lost!!

Adam Created By Angel?” Islamist ‘ScholarsCall the Cops

Cops – “Islamist ‘Scholars’ Can Veto Religious Liberty”

Islamist ‘Scholars’ – “Don’t Complain if You’re Attacked!”

…that the ‘scholars’ would enjoy reading.

But the recent news, that the National Police Anti-Terror Detachment 88  – aka Densus 88…

    =

    ..

…have arrested a geezer named Ustaz ( Cleric) Farid Okbah, Ahmad Zain An Najah, who happens to serve on the Fatwa Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council ( MUI )…

    =

    ..

…in relation to terrorism allegations, has piqued our interest.

Of course sensible people will let Densus 88 do their job…

Makassar – One Less Foul Fiend In The World?

…which they usually do very well, and not jump the gun on the detained man’s innocence or guilt.

But it seems some are not content to wait, and may be pondering causing a ruckus.

So it’s good to hear a man from Muhammadiyah…

    =

    =

…one of the two largest Muslim mass organisations in Indonesia, expressing his trust in the police.
“I believe the police will be very thorough in handling it,” said General Chairman Haedar Nasir, on Thursday.

    AND

Mr.Haedar asked the public not to be provoked by the arrest. According to him, that would only create a rowdy situation and conditions.

Undoubtedly, but to whom might he be referring? Who might be ‘provoked?’

All decent Indonesians applaud action against terrorism, and will be content to wait for this case to be fully dealt with.

But alas, not all Indonesians are decent, any more than all Brits…

    =

    =

    …or Americans or Australians.

There are elements who hold fanatic sectarian views.

We have heard their voices before…..

Jakarta Echoes of Gibraltar – How Dare You Kill Terrorists?

…when Densus88 was doing first class work against the Forces of Darkness.

Regardless of whom the Anti-Terror cops capture, such elements will try to exploit the situation for malign purposes.

    Wait and see!

For more on this, there’s a good report, but you may need to use Google Tranaslate.  https://news.detik.com/berita-jawa-tengah/d-5816628/ketum-pp-muhammadiyah-angkat-bicara-soal-anggota-mui-ditangkap-densus

Bog-Busters In Indonesia? Trans-Freaks Arouse Islamic Ire!

Preface – for the benefit of North American readers, the word ‘bog’ is UK slang for ‘toilet’ in British slang!

    .

Not all Indonesia toilets as as awful as this – there are many much nicer!

But men ought not to be using those meant for women

    ….

While I can’t immediately recall many, if any, occasions on which I’ve found myself at one with the ‘scholars’ of the MUI here in Indonesia…

    .

…and in fact can recall innumerable times when they have appalled me…

“A Wise And Noble Step?” Islamic ‘Scholars’ On Terrorist Unleashed In Indonesia!

Bali Hindu King – Don’t Kill Our Cows! Muslim ‘Scholars’ – Get Lost!!

Islamist ‘Scholars’ – “Don’t Complain if You’re Attacked!”

…today I read that the Indonesian Scholars Council are quite rightly condemning cross-dressers, who use their gender-bender outfits to gate-crash women’s toilets.

The MUI’s branch in South Sulawesi has issued an angry reminder that men are not to dress as women, after males have been reportedly sporting not only head-scarves ( hijabs) but even face-veils to hide what they really are!
    .
    .
    .
There’s even a name been coined for the freakos – crosshijaber –
    – and the MUI branch chairman, a Mr. Renreng, has warned them not to show up in his province.
This comes after the bizarre phenomenon has been raised in the DPR (parliament) Anggota DPR Minta Kemenag Bina Crosshijaber and by both the mainstream Muslim organisations, the NU and Muhammadiyah.

( you can use Google Translate for the above links)

With Hallowe’en approaching ( an annual event which the NU and Muhammadiyah dislike! ) people in the West can expect weirdly costumed characters to appear in their streets.

But of course many Indonesians, not just Muslims but also the large Christian minority, are fully aware that the trans-freaks are not a fun phenomenon…

    ————

Macy’s has fired a Christian woman for refusing to violate her religious beliefs. Her offense? She prevented a man dressed as a woman from entering the women’s dressing room.  https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2011/12/08/boycott-macys/

….but seriously maladjusted individuals who refuse to seek help but are ever more arrogant in their assertion of  ‘rights.’

Few public figures are as brave as America’s Ben Carson.

Bravo Ben Carson! Freak Fans Flushed Out – Now Fire Them

So Sulawesi’s Mr. Renreng is wise to warn against the trans-freaks.

They may seem laughable as they mince about in women’s wear.

Yet when they start transgressing the bounds of decency, invading toilets ( bog-busting) and changing rooms, where women and girls should be able to feel safe from prurient perverts…

    .

Hallowe’en Horrors? But Are Target Toilets Scarier?

A very good alert to let Indonesians see how aggressive these trans are and how decadent Western society has become.

It is important also to ignore the distinction between cross-dressers who pretend they are female and the insane transgenders who cut away at their organs to try to make fantasy into reality.
Giving any of them access to women’s rest-rooms and changing rooms is criminally dangerous.

I agree with all the Indonesian commenters, it is disgusting that fake-women can walk into a women’s restroom. The English-speaking world is gone crazy.

Another Triumph For Islamist Bigotry In Indonesia!

Sad to see another triumph of intolerance in Indonesia, with Islamists gloating over the suppression of religious liberty in Depok.

As we predicted yesterday – West Java – Depok’s Damnable Dreary Bigotry, Again!  – a mob of bigots descended on the Ahmadiyah mosque,as the peaceful minority was about to carry out their Friday prayers at the mosque, on Friday (24/2) afternoon.

Bit of a waste of time, because  the equally bigoted City Government of Depok had already sealed the innocent dissenters’ house of worship.

    =================

“There have been no reports of resistance at Ahmadiyah mosques when we sealed the place again,” he told local media on site. ‘However,’ he added, “if the seal was to be removed, there would be strict sanctions.”-Local cop, quoted in http://timesofahmad.blogspot.com.au/2017/02/indonesia-ahmadiyya-mosque-in-sawangan.html

    oooooooooooooooooo

Depok’s record of intolerance is quite spectacular – if you want a laugh, read this one from a few years back.–Islamist Bigot Biter Bit in West Java

Among the sectarian mob this weekend was Abdullah Shafi, local Muhammadiyah notable.

    • “We deplore the attitude of Depok City Government, as discriminatory and does not carry out its duty to protect its citizens to practice their religion…the right to association and assembly are guaranteed by the state through the constitution…”
    • Ahamdiyah also asked for assertiveness from the President, through the Minister of Internal Affairs, to ensure the Depok City Government does not preclude the right to worship and assemble…
    • Ahmadis also ask police officers to ensure security and the activities of worship that group.

West Java – Depok’s Damnable Dreary Bigotry, Again!

No sooner have we reported on the Indonesian President’s alarm at the expansion of democracy in his country, than we have to highlight the shrinkage of religious liberty there.

    …………

    freedom-of-religion

    ………

Almost needless to say, it’s back to Depok, a West Java municipality that abuts Jakarta, and has been the scene of disgusting persecution for years.

Shariah City? Some 12,000 Reasons To Steer Clear of Depok!

    • The latest episode occurred this weekend, vicious victimisation of the peaceful and inoffensive Ahmadiyah minority.
    • There’s apparently a video via this Metro TV link.  http://news.metrotvnews.com/peristiwa/ObzB7mlb-muncul-seruan-aksi-242-menolak-ahmadiyah-di-sawangan
    • A mob-march on a small Ahmadi congregation, bigots determined to shut them down? Will the police drive the bigots back, or force the Ahmadis to knuckle under?
    • ..
    • If the cops allow suppression of religious liberty in Depok, it sure won’t be the first time. Even unlawful seizure of the minority’s property has gone unpunished in the past.

      • They make me want to vomit, all the usual suspects reportedly involved.
      • But a few others, people one might have hoped would speak up for pluralist values, have aligned themselves with Depok’s Dark Agers.
      • Metro reports the following have appended their names to an appeal for a bigot mob to prevent the minority creed worshipping God.
      • \
      • Ahmad Daman Huri, head of the Islamic boarding school Al Karimiyah;
      • Abdullah Syafii, MUI Chairman in Sawangan;
      • Syahlani, NU Leader in Sawangan;
      • Mustofa, Muhammadiyah Leader in Sawangan;
      • Agus Rahmat Djaelani, FPI Chairman, Depok City

        • The IslamoNazi FPI
        • The self-styled ‘scholars’ of the MUI…
        • fatwa mui sholeh
      • ….these outfits are infamous for their intolerance.
      • ————
      • But more depressing is the inclusion of the NU notable, and the man from Muhammadiyah.
      • Those organisations were formerly regarded as moderate.
      • Nowadays?
      • ——–
      • din-syamsuddin-_120703152435-684
      • Din Sanyuddin, MUI chief
      • ————
      • Who knows, since Muhammadiyah’s kingpin, Din, became MUI’s also? I’d hoped Din might stamp out the backward elements among the ‘scholars’ – like their neanderthal enthusiasm for FGM and stoning adulterers.
      • But so far no joy.
      • And now we read of the Depok Muhammadiyah man lending support to suppression of religious freedom.
      • —–
      • Indonesian_National_Police_General's_Visor_Hat
      • It’ll be down to the Depok cops.
      • Going back a year or so, we heard encouraging noises from the Presidential Palace. Jokowi Urges Cops To Protect Minorities – in Depok?
      • But will those police officers heed their president or will innocent people suffer once again at the hands of jihadist jerks?

So many stories from foreign places this week, Ross, and I know you are far away for now but I like that you do not forget Indonesia.
This Depok story makes me sad, why can the people not go to the mosque in peace and not get mob coming at them.
It is not right but I read today the city goverment in Depok act intolerant again and order mosque closed, and police do not protect the Ahmadiya right to worship in own mosque.
I hope President Jokowi will help them keep their freedom to worship.

Muhammadiyah Doesn’t Like Extremism? Avoid Mirrors, Pak!

Indonesia’s second-largest Islamic organization, Muhammadiyah, has said extremism is becoming more common around the world.

    ———————–

    ————–

Well, yes, the Green Party-– Daniel Cohn-Bendit and the German Greens’ pedophile problem ..is a growing menace in Germany…

    ———–

    • And extremism is not just a danger to Germany. Racist gangs like BLM in America are a serious concern.

Booed By Racist Mob For Saying “White Lives Matter,” Democrat U-Turns ASAP

    ———–

But Muhammadiyah is an Indonesian Muslim outfit, so right here should be their focus, if they want to help.

And Pak Haedar told the Jakarta Post that he does...

He further said Muhammadiyah was ready to cooperate with other societal elements to eliminate all forms of extremism in Indonesia.

They could make a retrospective start by condemning Nazi-style book-burning, like that carried out by Gramedia, which owns the Jakarta Post.

    • burning booksGramedia’s Hitlerite book-burning

    • …………………..

More recently, who was it joined in the fanatic chorus demanding that our good Jakarta Governor, Ahok, be prosecuted for the ludicrous offence of ‘blasphemy?’

     The Muhammadiyah Youth Wing!

“I have come here to be questioned as a filer of the report,” the youth wing organization chairman Khairul Sakti Lubis said….

Hasil gambar untuk khairul sakti lubis

The organization is one of several groups that reported Ahok for alleged blasphemy after he mentioned Al Maidah 51, a verse in the Quran, at an event in Thousand Islands regency.

Khairul said Ahok, a Christian, could not interpret verses in the Quran, because Islam was not his religion….

Police summon Muhammadiyah youth leaders in Ahok case

Perhaps Bapak Haedar could have a quiet word with young Khairul, reminding him that stomping free speech, on matters of religion as anything else, is clearly a manifestation of extremism.

As to the absurd arrogance of claiming that only followers of any particular creed are capable of interpreting that creed’s dogmas – go figure!

    ————

However, maybe the Boy Wonder’s extremism can be better understood when we remind ourselves of the MUI’s fanatical extremism.

The Indonesian Council of (self-styled) Scholars has long been the source of incredibly outlandish extremist outbursts, which we have featured here before and now do so again.

    ===================

Syamsul Maarif,  General Secretary of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Jakarta

“If the act of adultery is by a married person, then stoning is the sentence, while if unmarried, then it’s whipping,” he said.

    Din

None other than Din Syamsuddin, who also just happens to be top man in Muhammadiyah!

Is he ever going to take steps to root out the extremists from their positions of power and influence in MUI?

Until he does, ponder that old English adage…

Blasphemous Savages Wreck A Mosque in Java

Once again the peaceful and utterly inoffensive Ahmadis have been the target of pig-ignorant blasphemous brutes.

“All was destroyed, the walls of the recital room knocked down, and the roof,” said Ecep, the Ahmadi imam.

    Ahmadiyah burned Koran in Cisalada

    ———————-

In an unholy echo of a previous attack five years ago, in Cisalada, West Java, when a Koran was burned, even the holy books in the mosque were vandalised.

A swarm of savages caused Rp.200 million worth of damage to their mosque in Kendal, Central Java, the cowardly swine launching their onslaught in the wee hours when nobody was around to bear witness.

Typical of sectarian fanatics here, who do not respect houses of worship of any creed, even their own!.Jakarta Mosque Mayhem – IslamoNazi Louts Silence Moderate!

To their great credit, the local youth wing of the mainstream Muhammadiyah movement condemned the outrage in unequivocal terms.

Their chairman, Dahnil Azhar, called on the police to  investigate the attack thoroughly so that the culprits are prosecuted.   http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2016/05/24/muhammadiyah-youth-condemn-attack-on-ahmadi-mosque.html

“I do not share the same beliefs as the Ahmadis, but I believe that they have the same rights as other citizens of Indonesia.”

    Bravo!

But although the reports quote senior cops saying they’ll do right by the victims, many previous cases don’t make some of us overly optimistic.

Again, in Lombok, Islamist savages enforced ‘ethnic cleansing’ of an entire Ahmadi community, a hundred well-armed officers standing idly by.

But the root of the problem surely lies deeper than the constabulary’s inertia.

Despite loudly proclaiming his commitment to pluralism, President Jokowi has done nothing to revoke the iniquitous Tri-Ministerial Decree, which formalises anti-Ahmadiyah discrimination.

    Kill-Joy Kiss-Haters Also Detest Anti-Terror Cops!

Only last week we recorded the incandescent indignation expressed by one of Sulawesi’s leading IslamoNazis, Abdul Thoriq, at the heinous sacrilege commited by a couple of kids who dared enjoy a yummy snog by the sea-shore in Makassar.

    oooooooooooooooo

FOTO: FPI Makassar desak DPRD Sulsel Bubarkan Densus 88 - fpi_20160330_195932.jpg

    ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Now one his vigilante gang comrades is having a tantrum against Densus 88, the National Police’s Special Anti-Terror Detachment. The Commander of the South Sulawesi FPI, M Rahman, said that 120 people have been killed as terrorist suspects without going through the court process.
“Lately we have had issues with a motorcycle gang, and the police submitted them to court. Why were that 120 not sent to court – why they were killed?”

I can’t of course speak for the brave guys and gals of Densus…

    ———–

    Densus-88

    —————————

… but perhaps their response might be that bikers may well be a pain in the neck yet barbarous sectarians have murdered hundreds of innocent people, both Indonesian and foreign, and we saw not long ago, here in Jakarta, that they are still intent on doing so.

     oooooooooooooo

But while one expects nothing useful from the FPI, what’s astounding is that they were joined in their protests by Muhammadiyah, one of the largest ‘moderate’ Muslim outfits in the archipelago.

Their Makassar man,  Sirajuddin, is up in arms (metaphorically!) because a Koranic teacher taken by Densus died in detention, ‘so Muhammadiyah has set up a legal aid and complaints post.’

    http://makassar.tribunnews.com/2016/03/30/fpi-sulsel-minta-densus-88-dibubarkan

    muhammadiyah

And it turns out that a senior academic, from Makassar’s Muhammadiyah University, was also on hand, though his contribution to the show of strength was limited to this – ‘with trembling hands,  Irwan  Akib said the takbir repeatedly.

    So what does that mean?

The takbir is the slogan we’ve heard from the migrant rabble on the Greek-Macedonian border as they hurl stones at police officers defendng their country against crimmigration.

We also heard it during the Cikeusik Pogrom, here in Indonesia, when a thousand squalid hoodlums battered three innocent men to death.

Western readers may recognise it more easily as ‘Allahu Akbar!’

Post-Sarinah – Jokowi Faces Fanatic Challenge in Bangka

The post-Sarinah assertions that Indonesia is a beacon of tolerance unbowed by Islamist evil is about to be put to the test.

    ————————-

    •  Bangka Belitung (shaded)
    • —————————–
    • The bigots who run Bangka Regency, in Bangka Belitung province, are echoing ISIS’s eagerness to drive out a peaceful religious minority, the Ahmadis, simply because of how they worship God Almighty.
    • No official backing for violence, of course, but the intensity of the in-crowd’s intolerance is shocking.
    • And, as the innocent Ahmadis are apparently to be given a choice, turn apostate or face eviction, what happens to those who take a principled stand?
    • ——————-
    • ——————
    • jokowi

    ———————————————–

Now the ball is in President Jokowi’s court.

He can sit back and let it happen, or he can uphold the Ahmadis’ constitutional right to religious liberty. The Ahmadiyah population is tiny up there, and in any case they are a completely inoffensive group.

But still the haters want them gone.

    —————————

    • freedom-of-religion
    • ——————
    • “The government should protect the rights of citizens and promote dialogue among people, instead of getting involved in the conflict and making it worse,” Indonesian Ahmadiyah Congregation (JAI) spokesman Yendra Budiana said on Sunday.

The Ahmadi spokesman was referring to a letter urging Ahmadiyah followers in Srimenanti subdistrict, Sungailiat district, to convert to the mainstream Sunni teachings of the Indonesian Muslim majority or face expulsion from the regency.

    —–

Pemerintah Kabupaten melayangkan surat agar Jemaah Ahmadiyah di Bangka bertobat dan membubarkan diri, istimewa

    The Bangka bigots’ letter

Underlining the malevolent fanaticism behind the message was its aggressive assertion that the JAI was forbidden from spreading its teachings in the regency. One expects this kind of backward bigotry from Hizbut Tahrir or the IslamoNazi FPI thug-gang.

But the Jakarta Post report reveals that those attending the Religious Community Harmony Forum (what an incongruous name!) whence the diktat emerged included not  only the infamously intolerant self-styled ‘scholars’of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI)…

    —————–

    fatwa mui sholeh

    ————————-

….but also local representatives of two major organisations that like to parade themselves as ‘moderate.’

    •  oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    din-syamsuddin-_120703152435-684 Din

    —————–

    • Will Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah disown their district minions if they’re behind such jihadist nonsense? But then Muhammadiyah’s leading light, Din Syamsuddin, is also an MUI king-pin.

But what’s arguably even worse is that the Bangka Police chief was also involved, not to protect and serve the latest targets of jihadist bullies, but to facilitate the persecution.

In the meeting, the Bangka police chief and the district chief all called for the expulsion of Ahmadiyah followers.

What is the National Police Chief going to do about his subordinate up there? Instant dismissal would be a good start, if the JP report is true.

These disgusting antics are just another aspect of former President SBY’s legacy.

    —–

    sby300 SBY

    ——-

And he it was, also, who rubber-stamped the iniquitous Tri-Ministerial Decree.

I could refer you to many previous posts on that vile edict, but the JP gives a brief summary of its content. It ordered the Ahmadiyah community to “stop spreading interpretations and activities that deviate from the principal teachings of Islam.”.

And who gets to say what’s deviant and what’s not?

The MUI, of course! They are rather odd ‘scholars,’ in that they tend to skulk behind collaborationist cops rather than risk being bested in theological argument.

The MUI – Belligerence Is Bad News!

Those who violate the decree can face up to five years in prison.

    ———–

Following the decree, militant Islamists launched several violent attacks on Ahmadiyah followers including an attack in Cikeusik in February 2011 in which three Ahmadis were killed.

    So.

    Will Jokowi act?

Will the police replace their minion in Bangka?

Jakarta ‘Scholars’ Talk of Tolerance – Who’s Their Honoured Colleague?

    whatever__i_love_indonesia_by_NOF_artherapy

    —————————-

As a blogger who tries his best to defend Indonesia against present or possible criticism, by pointing out that sectarian nastiness, as exemplified by the FPI, the FUI and Hizbut Tahrir, in no way reflects the thinking of many decent Muslims here, I have to say my task is not always helped by the spokesmen of Islamic organisations which purport to be ‘moderate’ or ‘mainstream.’

    ——————————–

    • fpi kill busddhist
    • ——————————————
    • These terms are of course relative. Compared to the FPI, for example, the MUI ( not to be confused with the FUI) seems ‘moderate.’ Their self-styled ‘scholars’ do not go about revelling in thuggery and vandalism – though some of them are a bit slack about disowning it, and at least one of their senior members is a blood-thirsty bigot, but he’s the king-pin of the FUI.
    •    Lively Hustings Likely in West/North Jakarta!
    • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Today, flicking through the local news, once more this problem crops up, in respect of the news from Tolkara, in Papua, where a mosque was set on fire last week.

I’ll look at the arson shortly, but first what about the total of 33 scholars who are members of the presidium of the Alliance of Indonesian Ulema (AAUI) who have issued a statement – which actually sounds more like an ultimatum – on the arson.

These gents are given much prominence in Republika.com, which is not surprising, given that newspaper’s Islamic leanings. But who do they represent?

    ==

    Nu Nahdlotul Ulama

    muhammadiyah

    ==

Well, there are two representatives fom the NU, invariably characterised by all media as ‘Indonesia’s largest moderate Muslim group,’ and one from Muhammadiyah, equally invariably described as the ‘second-largest moderate Muslim group.’

But if you use our link and look at the photo of the platform party, who’s up there with them, speaking up against intolerance?

    ===============

    muchsin alatas fpi

From the left, Habib Muhsin Alatas,  Sekretaris Majelis Syura of the FPI….    http://www.republika.co.id/berita/nasional/hukum/15/07/18/nrn8xi-ini-8-sikap-aliansi-alim-ulama-indonesia-soal-pembakaran-masjid

Yeah, the FPI, the Islam Defenders Front, a paragon of pluralism, ever-ready to promote peace and goodwill, a champion of tolerance par excellence…like HELL!

Check out just a handful of our coverage.

Jakarta Ethnic Cleansing? Murder Threat No Big Deal?

‘Bunuh, bunuh, bunuh,’ – ‘kill, kill, kill!’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7RLCXNdKF4

–And the worst, arguably, of Muchsin’s comrades, still holding high FPI office, has to be Sobri Lubis, the savage who urged a mindless mob to go forth and murder members of the peaceful Ahmadi minority.

    000000000000000000

So what possesses high-rankers of the NU and Muhammadiyah to sit down with the likes of a leader of an IslamoNazi thug gang?.

By doing so they make an instant mockery of whatever decent cause may be concerned. They also, of course, tarnish the reputation of their own outfits. And if they somehow seriously regard themselves as ‘scholars,’ and treat a gang-leader as a ‘scholar,’ what does that tell us about their own ‘scholastic’ qualifications?

The proper thing to do, if you are up on a platform for something you believe is a worthy issue, and you find somebody unworthy is on that platform too, is either to find an alternative venue free from that taint, or to simply throw the blighter off.

    They did neither.

I’ll get back to the ultimatum later tonight.

‘Rise Against This Grand Design!’ Islamist Raves At ‘Red Threat!’

     anazifpi

    =======================

Good old Hidayatullah. com, a fanatical Indonesian website, reports, no doubt approvingly, a call from thug-gang leader Muhsin for a ‘Muslim rising.’

And the spread of jihadist paranoia in this country may be measured by the fact the IslamoNazi FPI leader was sharing a platfom with leading lights from, among others, the two largest ‘moderate’ Islamic organisations in the archipelago, the NU and Muhammadiyah. ( Shohibul Faroji Azmatkhan (NU), Dr. Amirsyah Tambunan (Muhammadiyah),

    —————

    • Muhsin-Ahmad-Alatas-1-jpeg.image_1 Muhsin

Muhsin, who’s no stranger to our reports, is all a-fret due to a combination of issues, one of them being the dreary drone about women denied the ‘right’ to don the scarf of subjugation at work.

Since there’s no religious obligation on Muslim women to do so….‘An Archaic Tribal Rag’ – Wise UK Muslim Imam Says ‘Ban the Burqa!’     It’s on the BBC! Bag-Head Bans Do Not Infringe Religious Liberty!    Fiery Islamists – ‘Head-Scarves NOT a Big Issue!’

…we’ll ignore that as a mere token yap, but there’s more to his indignation.

Muhsin reckons there’s a ‘grand design‘ high up, a conspiracy suggested by the fact that ‘many workers’ are prevented from performing Friday prayers.‘ In fact, that’s the headline in Hidayatullah.  http://www.hidayatullah.com/berita/nasional/read/2015/06/24/72850/fpi-di-indonesia-banyak-karyawan-sulit-shalat-jumat.html

Companies with non-Muslim directors even stoop to scheduling meetings that Muslim staff must attend when they should be toddling off to the mosque!

One thing’s for sure, if you go to certain government offices on Friday mornings, you may find yourself in for a long wait, because they double their usual hour of absence from their desks at lunchtime.

Pray during their own mid-day break? Not a chance! They expect, and get, extra time at the tax-payers’ expense, not so devout that they’ll forego a good guzzle/gossip session to make time for God.

But what IS the gang leader on about?

After our recent post on Amidhan, one of the senior members of the self-styled ‘scholars’ in the MUI, who fears the emergence of a ‘new-style communism..’

    Amidhan-MUI-2011 Amidhan

Top ‘Scholar’ Warns of Red Peril – If ID Cards Omit Your Creed!

     anti_communism_by_leandrotr

…now the IslamoNazis are getting all het up too, linking the President’s name with the hated PKI, the Indonesian Communist Party, whose attempted kudeta in 1965 led to a nationwide bloodbath.

Thanks to Rimanews.com, we learn that Muhsin’s Front Pembela Islam – a notorious sectarian gang who regularly commit vandalism and violent crimes – reckons that law enforcement agencies, namely the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has been trampling the rights of worship of prisoners detained at the detention center KPK KPK Pomdam Guntur branch.

OMG! Well, we’d best pay attention, because  these fanatics are certainly expert in these matters. They delight in trampling the rights of worship of religious minorities.

FPI in West Java – ‘Let’s Burn Out the Orphans!’  – flashback to when one victim of the FPI’s intolerance toldTempo that ‘none of the Ahmadiyah activities conflict with Islamic law…just like anybody else, we just pray, according to the Koran.” He repeated what he told Kompas, that there had been cries of ‘burn the place,’ from the mob.

    ……………..

But let’s not niggle about consistency in matters of religious rights and liberties.

“There are many complaints by prisoners who could not do Friday prayers…this is harassment of the implementation of worship.” .  http://nasional.rimanews.com/politik/read/20150623/220320/FPI-Revolusi-Mental-Jokowi-Gerakan-PKI

As noted, Muhsin is not unknown to RRA readers. But not as a rule because of his interest in people’s rights.

IslamoNazi Christmas Warning – Don’t You Dare Disturb Us Bigots!  flashback- Muhsin said that FPI was at ease with certain groups who might raid Christmas attributes in the shopping centers – FPI would not interfere with the sweeping.

    0000000000000000000000000000000

    fpi kill busddhist

Oh, yeah, and don’t forget the FPI’s overt urge to murder

    ————

Muhsin spot-lighted the “Mental Revolution.” That’s the election slogan coined by President Jokowi, but while most of us took it to mean  making the nation more forward-thinking, in terms of economic etc. progress, Muhsin has his own interpretation –

‘…the administration of Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Jusuf Kalla echoes the PKI and the communist movement, because it is considered the nation will progress if people break away from the shackles of belief and religious rules and godliness.

I’m more anti-communist than just about anyone else in the world. Jokowi and JK do not conceivably subscribe to that evil ideology.

    But how about that godliness?

FPI-style? Who’s On Da Booze? Mall Brawl Gangsters “Are An Asset!?!”

If anything, many of those who supported Jokowi are worried that he has not unsealed churches shut down by bigots like Muhsin, nor repealed the discriminatory anti-Ahmadi decree.

But Muhsin marches to the sound of a very different drum.

“It’s already come to pass that one can get an ID card without one’s religion recorded on it…

Oh, yeah, Amidhan had the same hang-up. But it REALLY stokes Muhsin’s revolutionary fervour.

“If the Commission is actually doing this, then it is time that Muslims should rise up. Don’t let Muslims in Indonesia become orphans in their own country,” he said.

Unfortunate choice of analogy, maybe, given those Ahmadi orphans mentioned above!
