Double Standards? Indonesian Clerics Ignore Red Imperialism

Big headline from one  of the Jakarta English-language newspapers this month.

Citing Human Rights Violations, Religious Organizations Call for End to Red China’s Occupation of Tibet

    Gambar terkait

The real headline, in the Jakarta Globe, was this –

Citing Human Rights Violations, Religious Organizations Call for End to Israeli Occupation of Palestine

Sad, truly, to realise that those clerics of all the recognised religions here in Jakarta, could be so selective in their righteous indignation that they urged the international community to take “concrete steps” to end human rights violations against Palestinians…

Hamas boss with IRA’s Blood-Beast Adams -two of a kind?

…yet failed to speak out on the arguably much worse, and indubitably of longer duration, ‘violations’ perpetrated on the completely innocent people of Tibet.

UN Double Standards Brightly Held Aloft! Free Tibet!

But they were only taking a leaf out of the UN book, after all!

The exercise in double-standards was approved by representatives of organizations of six officially recognized religions in Indonesia, including Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and the Bishops’ Conference of Indonesia (KWI).

They made a point of saying this was NOT a ‘religious’ issue.

So how come they did not sign up as individuals, or members of whatever political party they support, rather than as members of religious outfits?

“We condemn the Israeli occupation in Palestinian territories…

That bleat was followed a litany of whines, some by the Palestinian ‘Ambassador’ here and some of no clear origin, such as that Palestinian children are reportedly deprived from receiving education because many schools have been destroyed by Israeli forces.

The Jakarta Globe made no mention of the Israeli children not reportedly but actually deprived from receiving education because they had been murdered by savage Palestinian terrorists.

2014 kidnapping and murder of Israeli teenagers /

The media here are fairly despicable in their one-sided approach.

.Hamas Pigs Gloat Over Baby’s Death! Will TVOne in Jakarta Highlight Their Sin?

One would not expect much concern for Israelis from Amnesty International, whose fatuous researcher, Lina Fattom…

…. apparently ‘highlighted’ ( that’s Jakarta Globe-bias-cr-p for ‘claimed’) that the conflict “is not one of religion, but it is one based on the need for control of resources that uses religion and culture as a way to divide.”

As I say, fatuous! Marxist jargon!

But it’s a pity the Protestant representative, Penrad Siagian, joined in with inane complaints that ‘Israel has used forbidden weapons…’

    Protestant Penrad

Nothing in the report on Penrad’s view of cowardly Palestinian attacks on Jewish women and children…

Brits! Tell Boris – No More Cash For Palestinian Terror!

….or on how anyone can justify the morality of the evil assertion below.

My Fake News – Amnesty, With Islamic Group, Condemns Red China!

    Fake news story –

Amnesty International and Nahdlatul Ulama, Indonesia’s largest Muslim organization, have called for the end of human rights violations in Tibet in light of the Communist Chinese government’s 60+-year occupation of the territory.

That of course is satire. No way the Jakarta Globe would publish that!

    HERE is the…

    REAL news story –

Amnesty International and Nahdlatul Ulama, Indonesia’s largest Muslim organization, have called for the end of human rights violations in Palestine in light of the Israeli government’s 50-year occupation of the territory,

    So how come?

How come Amnesty isn’t loudly launching a campaign against importing stuff from the brutally colonised country invaded, occupied and terrorised by the Beijing marxist dictatorship?

More interesting would be to put the same question to the NU, who are actually one of the most ‘moderate’ outfits here.

Are they concerned with Palestine merely because of the irrelevant fact that most Palestinians are Muslim?

    If so, up to them.

Rights allegedly taken from their co-religionists are more important than rights ripped from other peoples?

    Okay, up to them.

But what about the Jakarta Globe?

    Gambar terkait

Not a word from any Israeli source to balance the numerous whines included in their report?

And the JG even includes a direct link to an anti-Israel petition. And a big Palestinian flag at the top of their report?

That’s what caught my eye, because it reminded me of the bigoted bias of TVOne here, which I covered more than once…

.Hamas Pigs Gloat Over Baby’s Death! Will TVOne in Jakarta Highlight Their Sin?

…that ghastly pictorial background, and the miserable pro-Palestinian dirge droning away, when we naively expected them to do their duty and cover the conflict with professional objectivity.

No petition links from me, except THESE –

You should know by now, Ross, the media here is not worth reading for the most part.
      The TV is worse.
I would make Tempo an exception to the above. They are a cut above the rest, but who are we from the West to complain, when we have CNN and ABC to be embarrassed by!
You sure cover a multitude of news.in a lot of countries, but I liked that dangdut story earlier more than all the political stories. .

Hizbut Hate-Group – East Java Muslims Set Canberra A Fine Example!

Since I finally mastered the trick of scheduling publication of my blog-posts (a very recent technological triumph on my part!) I have also learned its downside, that scheduled posts can be overtaken by events.

    • Hence this story of admirable Indonesian Muslims taking a stand against evil is a week old, but I’ve amended it to include some Australian news.

…hundreds of members of Banser NU Tulungagung forced the HTI group stopped at the Terri border. They then forced all participants to remove all their banner attributes.

Terri is located in East Java and HTI, of course, is the infamously intolerant Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia.

“We staged the ambush and forced them to disperse. That’s because their activities, spreading their concept of the caliphate…has the potential to divide the community.”

    • ====

    • That’s Syahrul Munir speaking, head of GP Ansor’s Tulungagung branch speaking.

    • GP Ansor is the security wing of the NU, the largest Muslim grass-roots organisation in the archipelago. Banser is their youth section.

There were about 130 of these local heroes.

“Ansor and Banser firmly rejected that activity because it is contrary to the principles and commitments of the NU, which are to maintain the integrity of the Republic. Homeland No Surrender!”

It wan’t only on the Terri line that these Tulungagung patriots stood guard. Banser Ansor were also observed on standby at Kediri, Blitar, and Malang…

    • Hasil gambar untuk tulungagung

    • That’s a lot of ground to cover.

    • ==

So good on these guys, whose responsible conduct contrasts with the Australian Government’s shilly-shallying, which began with Abbott reneging on a pledge to deal with the Oz part of this hate-gang, and continues under Malcolm Turnsteer.

He has so far shown no sign of any positive response to a petition demanding a ban on the vicious fanatics, whose ‘Australian’ leader was recently exposed reiterating its murderous call for ‘apostates’ to be put to death.

    • ……..
    • This savage insanity is not unique to HT but is common among Islamists, who genuinely believe that ‘apostates’ ( that means anyone who uses his or her God-given brain to decide to worship God Almighty via a different creed,or not to worship at all) deserves to be killed!

    • …..

    • Of course there are apostates and apostates- those who abandon their Christian faith ain’t so bad! An Apostate Attacks Ahok – Denies Right To Criticise!

    • …….
    • Clearly such people do not belong in any civilised country and should be deported, but if they have organised themselves into a movement, like Hizbut Tahrir, a ban is the minimum step that governments need to take. Several Muslim countries have done so.

    • So now an Aussie patriot group, AltCon News, has gotten busy and launched a petition.

    • Hasil gambar untuk altconnews

Petition · Hizb ut-Tahrir: Call to ban group in Australia · Change.org

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is being urged to ban Islamist extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir from Australia…

‘Ex-Muslims should be free from death threats’

As AltConNews quite rightly says –

‘Hizb ut-Tahrir calls for the removal of the Australian way of life being as they claim our freedoms and rule of law as ‘corrupt society that is to be transformed into a Islamic society’,’ the petition said.

‘Hizb ut-Tahrir calls the for removal of the rule of law in favour of sharia law and to use any means possible to achieve these changes.

Alas, Mealy-Mouth Malc is very unlikely to do the decent thing.

His chummy embrace of that repulsive extremist, the ‘Australian’ Grand Mufti, has demonstarted that he lacks the will and/or the grit to take on the Islamist Enemy Within. Australia, Deport This Sex-Obsessed Sectarian!

It says a lot about Turnbull that Javanese Muslims will take action to stop Hizbut getting into their township while he follows Abbott’s spineless failure to roust them out of Australia.
Thanks to you, I just started chasing up that petition and will get it signed soon,

That Banser group are more intelligent than the Australian Liberal Prime Minister.
Hizbut Tahrir are like demonic, totally wicked those calls to spill the blood of people smart enough to switch religions.
Everybody in Australia knows what they are unless its people who never pay attention to the news.
So any government, no matter which party has a job to do, ban them and get them to hell out of our country.

Ahok Defies Back-Stabbers And Sectarian Fanatics!

Since the bloody riot two Fridays ago, when gangs of Islamist hoodlums attacked police and shamed Indonesia before the assembled cameras of the world’s media, a lot of that overseas media have lost interest in what’s happening in Jakarta.

    • Hasil gambar untuk Zuhairi Misrawi

    • So for the sake of fair play, I must mention today a young Muslim leader named Zuhairi Misrawi.
    • Despite the Jakarta Post branding him an ‘intellectual,’ he sounds a sensible fellow. He belongs to the NU, the Nahdlatul Ulama, a very large organisation, which sometimes comes out with rational thoughts, and this is one of those times.

    • Nu Nahdlotul Ulama
    • Zuhairi is urging the extremist so-called ‘scholars’ of the MUI, who are still state-funded, so far as I know…

    fatwa mui sholeh

….to back-track on their peculiar accusations of ‘blasphemy’ against Ahok, the Christian Governor of Jakarta.

As has been obvious to everyone from the start of the controversy, Zuhairi points out that it’s based on a misquote of a speech the governor made that was uploaded to the internet.

We reported on Ahok’s reference to a Koranic verse before, and you can check that out…

Half-Million Fanatics Descending On Jakarta? Peacefully!?!

…but it’s undoubtedly true that, if the issue had remained a case of notorious jihadist gang-groups caterwauling as usual, few normal Indonesians would have given a tinker’s cuss.

    But Zuhairi’s right.

“The MUI is the source of all of these problems.”

    • mui hq

The self-styled ‘scholars’ will be miffed, I guess, but again overseas readers need to see some examples of what sort of thinking permeates their opulent HQ downtown.

    • ma'arruf amin

    • Ma’aruf

    • ———-

It was MUI’s Deputy Chair, Ma’aruf, who kindly advised everyone that FGM is a ‘human right!’

And here’s another of their ‘scholars’ talking.

Syamsul Maarif,  General Secretary of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Jakarta

“If the act of adultery is by a married person, then stoning is the sentence, while if unmarried, then it’s whipping,” he said.

    • Would you take anything they say seriously?
    • So why do the Jakarta Police?
    • However, encouragingly, the Jakarta police have also started to take a careful look at a certain Buni Yani.

Hasil gambar untuk buni yani ditangkap

He’s the character who uploaded the video which the nastiest elements in the archipelago then spread around to foment hatred against the Governor.

Foment other people’s hatred, that is, because the nastiest elements have always hated him Jakarta Jew-Haters Boo Chinese Christian Candidate  , simply because of his race and religion and his habit of calling a spade a spade.

Fanatic Islamist Wails At Christian Governor – “He Calls People Names!”

It seems this geezer has admitted making errors when transcribing the governor’s words before posting the footage.

Bizarrely, Buni was quoted in Republika, a newspaper that might charitably be described as ‘Islamic,’ on Friday, as demanding that   Ahok supporters stop their provocations.

Buni Yani Minta Pendukung Ahok Hentikan Provokasi

Meanwhile, Ahok is showing he’s made of the right stuff, refusing to stand down as a gubernatorial candidate despite chicken-sh-ts behind the scenes seeking to dissuade him.

    • ahok

    • Without naming the parties, Ahok said he had been asked to drop out on security concerns in the capital. He claimed the parties said demonstrations against him would continue if he stayed in the race.

I wish he’d ID the culprits, but good to see the good guv ain’t taking any cr-p from creeps that crawl to the sectarians behind the ‘blasphemy’ ballyhoo.

“I’d rather be arrested and jailed than drop out of the race,” Ahok said in the Pantai Mutiara area, North Jakarta, on Thursday

Good for Ahok! I hope that the many millions of decent Muslims who live in Jakarta will endorse his courageous stand.

If people must make an issue of religion in the election next year, which of course it shouldn’t be, my own view is that they should focus on ex-president SBY’s son, Agus Yudhoyono,  who is also running for Jakarta Governor.

UK Ambassador in Jakarta Joins Muslim ‘Mass Movement!’

And even more surprised to read that Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador in Jakarta is now a member of the NU. During the signing of the MoU, Malik was awarded honorary NU membership for being a foreign Muslim who promotes moderate Islamic values.UK, NU sign MoU to promote religious tolerance –

Mr. Moazzam Malik is said to be a very pleasant gent, and no doubt tries his best to win friends and influence people all over Indonesia.

But after recent events, with a moronic mob of Islamist bigots in Bekasi, one of Jakarta’s satellite cities, preventing the construction of a Christian church which has all the permits and approvals required by law…

…and the brazen denial of religious liberty in Subang…  https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2016/03/29/sectarian-intolerance-rules-in-subang-west-java/ …

…my rapidly decreasing ability to be surprised was tapped once more by His Excellency’s words as quoted in the Jakarta Post, viz. Indonesia had firsthand experience in promoting pluralism and moderation in religious practice.

Having spent several Sundays in recent years across from the Presidential Palace in downtown Jakarta, with the GKI Yasmin Protestants forced to worship on the road because the Government of Indonesia refuses to enforce its own Supreme Court’s ruling in favour of the dispossessed congregants…

Still Shunned by ‘Pluralist’ President, Java Christians Observe Easter On the Street

…I would welcome some clarification of the Ambassador’s assertion.

However, let’s move on, examining the NU, of which he’s now a proud member.

    Nu Nahdlotul Ulama

I’ve covered their activities often enough over the past decade, and they are certainly among the better Islamic outfits in the archipelago. Their youth wing, Banser, are noted for their courage in standing up to foul fanatics.

Only a month or two ago I noted approvingly  that ‘the IslamoNazi FPI was facing significant resistance in Banyumas, Central Java.’ Bravo, Banyumas! Decent Muslims Stand Up To IslamoNazi FPI!

‘Organisations affiliated to the NU reject the intended arrival of Habib Rizieq,’ says the report ,http://utama.seruu.com/read/2016/02/15/272680/antipati-pada-radikalisme-agama-meluas-fpi-ditolak-di-banyumas.

Rizieq is a ranting jihadist, the so-called ‘high priest’ of one of the most unpleasant gangs in Indonesia.

And if we look back a bit, the senior levels of the NU have also been a source of good sense.

    • For example, Said Aqil Siroj, who was surely echoing the thoughts and prayers of every decent human being, of all creeds when he toldthe media…

    • And more than adequately answer his rhetorical question…
    • “So, what need of organizations like that?!?!  http://nasional.republika.co.id/berita/nasional/politik/15/12/14/nzclld330-said-aqil-sejak-lama-pbnu-desak-bubarkan-fpi

    So good for Said.

But what about this NU luminary?

    Slamet Effendi Yusuf

NU said governors’ prohibition of Ahmadiyah had their support. This was delivered by the Vice Chairman of the NU, Slamet Effendi Yusuf, on Monday (28/3). According to Slamet, it is a local government duty to maintain order….NU boards in certain areas, for example in West Java, East Java, and Sumatra, strongly expressed support for the governors’ rule…

And then there’s the infamous case right here in Jakarta, where the NU raised hell about the inclusion of a Christian church in Gandaria City Mall.

warga islam tolak gereja di gandaria

‘The Community and Citizens of the NU Reject a Church in Gandaria City!

    Bigot banner at Gandaria

It was sheer ignoramus bigotry, because nobody protested when a mosque was included in Blok M Square mall.

And when I say ‘ignoramus,’ I mean it, because no church was ever scheduled for Gandaria -it was all much ado about nothing, sectarian nasties frothing about a non-existent ‘threat of Christianisation!’ ‘

That’s a big phobia here, among crack-pot clerics who fear their flocks will do a runner if exposed to other ways of worship!

And what about this NU notable?

In the Yasmin, Bogor case, continued Hasyim, that cannot be the measure of Indonesia’s religious intolerance.  “I have been there many times, but it seems they do not want to get it settled…,” he said.

Hasyim, full name Hasyim Muzadi, is a VERY prominent NU spokesman, chairman when he spoke those words which expose his outlandish intolerance.

Because he KNOWS those Yasmin Protestants  – the ones who worship every second Sunday across from the Palace – fought for their rights all the way to the highest court in the land (most judges there, if not all, are Muslims who plainly understand civilised values like fair play and freedom of religion rather better than Hasyim) and they WON.

So Hasyim just hogwashed when he said they don’t want to get it settled.

It IS settled, for law-abiding citizens. Bogor’s Islamist bigots were and still are, alas…

X-Rated Xmas – Foul-Mouths Bully Christians, As ‘Moderate’Mayor Denies They Exist!’

…in the wrong when they sealed that church.

What a shame Hasyim’s so content to leave that wrong unrighted.

And here’s Hasyim,  showing he’s a man untroubled about company he keeps, because that character dressed up in what you might think is fancy-dress, is none other than the afore-mentioned Habib Rizieq, darling  of IslamoNazis everywhere.

But don’t for a minute think it’s only persecuted Christians for whom Hasyim doesn’t give a monkey’s! Here’s his follow-up rant  on the most persecuted people in this country, the Ahmadis –

If the measure ( of religious intolerance) is the problem of Ahmadiyah, Hasyim said, that’s because Ahmadiyah deviates from the basic teachings of Islam, but always uses a “rubber stamp” to call themselves Muslim and is politically oriented towards the West.

    So HE thinks they deviate?

Big deal. Anyone in a free country can deviate from the established religious in-crowd. Again, as Hasyim certainly knows, that is NOT the problem. The Ahmadis never bother other creeds, They worship peacefully and are exemplary citizens.

The PROBLEM is ignorant bigoted Islamist intolerance.

ahmadiyah2 Evil Sunni pig revels in the martyrdom of Ahmadis

“It is very important for people in the UK to see Islam in Indonesia,”says the current British Ambassador – does he know that nobody was ever charged with the murder of those Ahmadi victims?

Innocent Ahmadis have been murdered by moronic mobsters. Hasyim’s hogwash take on this is an affront to reason.

As was his other rant when he hyper-ventilated that reporting Islamist thuggery was a form of ‘white-collar crime!’ Read it here! …https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/the-moderate-view-reporting-sectarian-violence-to-un-is-white-collar-crime/.

So Her Majesty’s British Government should NOT be signing up to deals with the NU unless it purges itself of extremists like Hasyim, and Slamet Effendi Yusuf and the obnoxious clowns we saw at  Gandaria.

And His Excellency should reconsider accepting his honorary membership, unless he carries a VERY long spoon in the boot of his ambassadorial limo.

NB for English students  – ‘boot’ is British English for the American English ‘trunk.’

Bravo, Banyumas! Decent Muslims Stand Up To IslamoNazi FPI!

Good to read in Seruu.com that the IslamoNazi FPI is facing significant resistance in Banyumas, Central Java.

‘Organisations affiliated to the NU reject the intended arrival of Habib Rizieq,’ says the report ,http://utama.seruu.com/read/2016/02/15/272680/antipati-pada-radikalisme-agama-meluas-fpi-ditolak-di-banyumas.

The Nahdlatul Ulama is the largest Muslim movement in Indonesia and they they see his appearance as a prelude to a formal launch of the white-shirt thug gang in their area.

Habib Rizieq (left) with Abu Bakr Basyir (currently doing time!)

Rizieq was in the news only a week or so ago, when he attended a case review hearing to speak up for the evil old brute Abu Bakr Ba’asyir, who’s currently behind bars for involvement in terrorist activity.

Neither of these men should be given house-room by any responsible person, Indonesian or not.

Nor should the organisation of which Habib Rizieq is the ‘high priest.’

This is seriously good news. And not unique – we saw recently a massive demo by decent Muslims in Purwakarta, when Rizieq’s appearance there had to be protected by police.

Bravo, Purwakarta! IslamoNazis Cower Behind Cops – Again!

Jakarta ‘Scholars’ Talk of Tolerance – Who’s Their Honoured Colleague?

As a blogger who tries his best to defend Indonesia against present or possible criticism, by pointing out that sectarian nastiness, as exemplified by the FPI, the FUI and Hizbut Tahrir, in no way reflects the thinking of many decent Muslims here, I have to say my task is not always helped by the spokesmen of Islamic organisations which purport to be ‘moderate’ or ‘mainstream.’

    • ——————————————
    • These terms are of course relative. Compared to the FPI, for example, the MUI ( not to be confused with the FUI) seems ‘moderate.’ Their self-styled ‘scholars’ do not go about revelling in thuggery and vandalism – though some of them are a bit slack about disowning it, and at least one of their senior members is a blood-thirsty bigot, but he’s the king-pin of the FUI.
    •    Lively Hustings Likely in West/North Jakarta!
    • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Today, flicking through the local news, once more this problem crops up, in respect of the news from Tolkara, in Papua, where a mosque was set on fire last week.

I’ll look at the arson shortly, but first what about the total of 33 scholars who are members of the presidium of the Alliance of Indonesian Ulema (AAUI) who have issued a statement – which actually sounds more like an ultimatum – on the arson.

These gents are given much prominence in Republika.com, which is not surprising, given that newspaper’s Islamic leanings. But who do they represent?

    Nu Nahdlotul Ulama

Well, there are two representatives fom the NU, invariably characterised by all media as ‘Indonesia’s largest moderate Muslim group,’ and one from Muhammadiyah, equally invariably described as the ‘second-largest moderate Muslim group.’

But if you use our link and look at the photo of the platform party, who’s up there with them, speaking up against intolerance?

    muchsin alatas fpi

From the left, Habib Muhsin Alatas,  Sekretaris Majelis Syura of the FPI….    http://www.republika.co.id/berita/nasional/hukum/15/07/18/nrn8xi-ini-8-sikap-aliansi-alim-ulama-indonesia-soal-pembakaran-masjid

Yeah, the FPI, the Islam Defenders Front, a paragon of pluralism, ever-ready to promote peace and goodwill, a champion of tolerance par excellence…like HELL!

Check out just a handful of our coverage.

Jakarta Ethnic Cleansing? Murder Threat No Big Deal?

‘Bunuh, bunuh, bunuh,’ – ‘kill, kill, kill!’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7RLCXNdKF4

–And the worst, arguably, of Muchsin’s comrades, still holding high FPI office, has to be Sobri Lubis, the savage who urged a mindless mob to go forth and murder members of the peaceful Ahmadi minority.

So what possesses high-rankers of the NU and Muhammadiyah to sit down with the likes of a leader of an IslamoNazi thug gang?.

By doing so they make an instant mockery of whatever decent cause may be concerned. They also, of course, tarnish the reputation of their own outfits. And if they somehow seriously regard themselves as ‘scholars,’ and treat a gang-leader as a ‘scholar,’ what does that tell us about their own ‘scholastic’ qualifications?

The proper thing to do, if you are up on a platform for something you believe is a worthy issue, and you find somebody unworthy is on that platform too, is either to find an alternative venue free from that taint, or to simply throw the blighter off.

    They did neither.

I’ll get back to the ultimatum later tonight.

IslamoNazi Slams Jew-Collaborating Fascists Who Say 'Good Morning!'

    Pass the valium, please.

That’s about the only response feasible to yesterday’s amazing rant by the ‘Chairman’of the self-styled ‘Defenders of Islam,’ Sobri Lubis.

    • anfpi2
    • The white-shirt thug gang has made a name for itself by repeated acts of sectarian violence and vandalism, and there have been numerous calls from decent Indonesians for a ban, notably from Jakarta’s excellent Governor Ahok.
    • Islamonazis on the War-Path

      Islamonazis Hide Behind Masks.

But today’s outlandish outburst makes us think the FPI have finally flipped their fanatic lids.

Lubis’ rant results from the decision by the Nadhlatul Ulema, the NU, the largest Muslim movement in Indonesia to use the term Islam Nusantara, ‘the Islam of our Archipelago,’ at its conference in Jakarta’s top mosque this weekend.

    • Nu Nahdlotul Ulama
    • Islam Nusantara is nothing more than a liberal agenda which collaborates with the Jews,” he railed, and went on to elaborate his disdain for such revisionism. Ostensibly nationalist, the words carry very ugly implications, according to Lubis, who calls it racist and fascist.

    Fascists collaborating with the Jews?

Okay, let’s hear this vicious bigot out. I use that description because that’s what Lubis is. If you read our blog a lot, you’ll have seen the linked video, in which he howls ‘Kill, kill, kill,” inciting a rabid mob of jihadist savages to murder members of the peaceful Ahmadi religious minority.

    • alubis

‘Bunuh, bunuh, bunuh,’ – ‘kill, kill, kill!’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7RLCXNdKF4

    •  Lubis is so alienated from his own country’s culture that he is infuriated by how Islam Nusantara appears to be ‘anti-Arab.‘ It defames Islam as if Indonesian culture is under occupation and needs to be re-Indonesianized.”

Sounds like the NU are on the right track! But Lubis is beside himself – “it’s an extraordinarily wicked way of thinking.”.

The deranged IslamoNazi offers us an example of why.

One of the teachings of Islam Nusantara is the replacement of the Salaam Aleikum with Selamat Pagi.   http://news.merahputih.com/nasional/2015/07/04/fpi-islam-nusantara-agenda-liberal-yahudi/ .

So if you set off for work after breakfast and greet your neighbours with a cheery Good Morning, you’re a revisionist renegade?

    Looks like it!

Muslim Leader of Largest Muslim Country – An Apostate? Ho-Ho-Ho!

    jokowi-twitter President Jokowi

The Muslim President of the world’s largest Muslim country has been accused of  ‘apostasy’  -why?

He intends to wish his Christian fellow-citizens a Merry Christmas!

    • =======================================

That’s the take of the Chairman of the Shura Council of the FPI, the self-styled ‘Islam Defenders Front,’ Misbachul Anam-

    • anfpi2
    • =======================
    • “It’s forbidden to Muslims to say Merry Christmas. No exception for President Jokowi,” said Misbach.
    • ——–
    •  Misbach

Misbach said Christmas greetings make Muslims apostates because it means acknowledging the existence of other religions.

    Aaah, so we don’t exist?

    Sad, really!

Yet few sane Indonesians agree with the bigot.

    • agreenerchristmastree

My frequent Muslim visitors wish me a Merry Christmas, as I greet them at Idul Fitri, when Ramadhan ends!

And every one of them regards the FPI as a disgrace to their creed.

    • Nu Nahdlotul Ulama

In contrast to the FPI, the Board of Nahdlatul Ulama – a very big Muslim organization in Indonesia, 100 times the size of the FPI –   – argued that Christmas greetings are a form of religious tolerance. That attitude is not considered to affect the faith and identity of a Muslim. “The attitude of mutual respect has nothing to do with religious recognition,” said Yusuf, one of the Chairman of NU.

Yet there’s many a nasty sectarian here who thinks DEATH is the right penalty for apostasy!

PresidentJokowi, the best President ever, it’s said, should beware of backward IslamoNazi brutes!!
