Little Napoleon and The Burning Bush…

That Le Muppet has delusions of Napoleonic grandeur is a view hardly unique to this blog.

    ……

    napoleon

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson criticized the decision, after Chancellor Angela Merkel’s office did the same in Berlin.    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-g7-summit-mercosur/britain-joins-germany-in-criticizing-macrons-mercosur-threat-

    ….

    Wow!

Leave Bojo out of it for now.

    macron-merkel

    …..

When even Le Muppet’s pro-crimmigrant comrade Mama Stasi Merkel disavows Le Muppet’s latest and most abrasive petulant hissy-fit, a single-handed veto of a major trading deal between the Brussels Empire and Latin America, methinks the Elysee Eejit may have bitten off more than he can chew.

I have nothing to say about the Mercosur pact, though who knows that I might some other day.

But I do have to contemplate changing Macron’s blog nick-name from Le Muppet to Le Meddler.

    .

    meddling

    ..

Again, the forest blazes in Brazil are a matter for another day, and more importantly a matter for Brazil!

The Euro-Commissars have the same rights I have to make observations in their personal capacities on any issue…

    evilempire

….but they have no more right than I have, to dictate how another nation’s problems should be tackled.

Threatening diplomatic or commercial sanctions against Brazil is plain proof of the EUSSR’s calculating and hypocritical double-standards.

If the EUSSR can get uptight about a bunch of bush-fires on another continent…

    ….

    Tibetan+exile+Janphel+Yeshi+runs+as+he+is+engulfed+in+flames+after+he+set+himself+on+fire+during+a+protest+in+New+Delhi

…then one has to wonder why no serious steps were ever taken in response to much more tragic burnings, in Tibet.

After all, the forests are in Brazil.

    Tibet_map

Tibet is under Red Chinese rule, but is a proud nation which should be afforded self-determination.

The ‘European Union’ isn’t interested in that.

Nor really in democracy at all. Commercial contracts with the Reds come first.

That brings us back to Le Meddler.

    macron bankerUntitled-23A

While Mama Stasi’s bad, she’s not stupid.

Bringing social mayhem to Germany by her multicult open-door policy was no foolish error but was done deliberately.

    .

    multicult3

    .

Bringing in South American produce, in contrast, is merely practical economics, daily business, which she sees no point in disrupting.

Like most of the European elite, she will bleat a bit about Brazil, and she doubtless detests President Bolsonaro…

    JairBolsonaro-Bolsonaro-FPA-28nov2017-FotoSergioLima

     Jair Bolsonaro

….because he represents traditional values,  which elites abhor –  but that’s as far as it goes.

Le Meddler, obsessed with his vision of himself as Master of Europe, driven by his inner flame of megalomanic wrath, has gone off the deep end.

I’m sure millions of French patriots share my sincere hope that he sinks.

Then France might get the leadership that France deserves…

    ….

    1757e-marine

    …a pro-French President.

    .

This was a very good read, Ross. I like your blog best when you lash all kinds of targets at one go and you certainly do that with this.
The Napoleonic complex is valid but you should also have taken note of Macron’s diminutive stature, another similarity.
Poor France, to have that ngry little man in charge.
I hope Le Pen wins next time. She is so much more impressive.

The last Algerian president had a stroke. He no longer could function as a rational man but he was permitted for many months to continue as president.
France has a problem. There is a man in the presidential palace who has become over-excited and even his allies see he has lost all judgement and proportion.
In Algeria, the army saw the need to respond to the outcry of the people.
Who will make the necessary move in France?

I am not French, despite my name, but I have been there many times and enjoyed both long and short stays in Paris and other cities, as recently as last spring.
Macron was not a popular figure but after the conservative candidate was knocked out of the presidential race by scandal, it was between Macron and Le Pen.
I have never seen such ferocious media hostility as there was against her. The nearest thing we have seen in Britain was Project Fear and that very nearly worked.
Now they have had plenty of time to dwell on their choice and the new voters, the young people, are very pro-Marine.
Macron will lose next time but how much damage can his egomania do before the next election?

After Notre Dame Fire, A Trendy Spire? Already Macron’s Up To Something!

I see Le Muppet Macron’s top flunkey ( prime minister) has questioned “whether we should even recreate the spire as it was… or if, as is often the case in the evolution of heritage, we should endow Notre-Dame with a new spire…”

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-47959313

I suppose it was almost inevitable that Macron would start thinking of ways to exploit the ghastly inferno.

It’s in his nature, as a Europhiliac pipsqueak with an outsized ego.

    =

    =

Given his notorious Napoleon-Complex, we might end up seeing Paris’s magnificent cathedral not even topped off with any proper spire at all…

    =

    =

    • …but instead fitted with some grotesquerie to commemorate his own glory as ‘master-mind’ of the renovation.

    • One can only pray…

    Seriously, though.

The whole point of heritage is what a person, or a nation, INHERITS, from its past.

So the old spire should be reconstructed, with sturdier materials, perhaps, but not with some sort of glitzy trendy 21st century ‘new look.’

It’s just my opinion – but before Macron imposes his own, how about letting the French people choose?

He did make noises recently about referenda -though only on things that would not transgress his ideological hang-ups…

Muppet Macron’s Mock-Consultation -“We’ll Only Talk About What WE Value!”

So, if and when he keeps his word on even that much limited democracy, why not stick on an extra ballot paper to let the citizens decide, the Notre Dame they wept for yesterday, or a cool hipster millennial monument?

An interesting change of theme, Ross, and I am with you on this as on most subjects you like to write about.
When Windsor went on fire, did we make the Queen restore it with furnishings from IKEA?
Nothing against IKEA but that would have been glaringly, laughably, out of place.
Paris’s 800 year old cathedral, so central to her history, should not be ‘modernised,’
      The very idea is repulsive.

Thank you, Fiona, you say it in English much better tham I am able to say it.
Macron must not be free to remake Notre Dame with a ‘modern’ spire or modern anything.
It is an ancient treasure of France and we want it back like before the fire and like all the visitors to Paris since I was born have seen it.
Ross has the best idea, let the French people vote to decide.
It is not the property of Macron to decide.

Cultural marxists hate beautiful traditional architecture, not because of what it looks lke but because of its appeal to normal people, who identify with it as their heritage.
The pioneering cultural marxists in Germany focused much of their energy on architecture and while the bulk of Notre Dame is still standing and therefore not obtainable by Macron’s men, the spire is down and gives them an opening to insert something unpleasant in its place.

Firefly, you may be tongue in cheek but it would not one bit surprise me if they wanted to instal a minaret in Notre Dame.
After all, Macron’s creed is all about inclusivity, not French national pride.

This made me look back at when the Sydney Opera House was built.
A lot of us didnt take to it right then but it grew on us.
Not the same at all with Notre Dame.
In Sydney the Opera House it was brand new but in Paris it must be about a thousand years so I am told that their cathedralhas stood.
You dont go tinkering with history.

Little Napoleon Lets Down France, Lectures Italian Hero!

It would not be the first time Macron has been accused of some sort of Napoleon Complex.

Students of modern European history will recall that the Corsican treated Italians as mere vassals, even installing one of his brothers as the King of Naples…

    =

    =

…and that arrogant Muppet this week was downright imperious, to talk down the way he did to an allied government with a strong democratic mandate to defend itself from alien invasion and supranational bullying.

“You can’t create a precedent that will enable one European country to offload onto other European countries,”    https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/eu-tensions-flare-over-migrants-as-macron-blasts-italy-10424968– said a Macron mouthpiece named Griveaux, insulting Matteo Salvini, Italy’s Interior Minister…

…and hero of European patriots everywhere. .

But Macron’s not just condescending – he’s hypocritical!

Was it not France that unloaded a bunch of crimmigrant louts, the notorious ‘age-liars’ known as Amber’s Army, onto the UK?

Little kiddies dumped into UK by Macron

    • Interesting to note that various news sources have said that the Aquarius illegals include what are termed ‘unaccompanied minors…’

Arrest Amber Rudd? Calais Crimmigrant “Age Checks Not Carried Out! “

    • …who will likely turn out to be as ‘under-age’ as the hulking brats/brutes whom Macron dumped on the Brits.

    • Adding gross offence to this insolence,we had another obnoxious Macron flunkey…

What is sickening is the way nobody slapped down that ‘NGO’ which arrogated to itself the right to give assurances to the crimmigrants that they’d not be sent back to where they commenced their illegal incursion into European waters.

Rewarding the lawless for their crimes against civilised countries’ borders is a sure-fire recipe to have more boat-loads of bludgers setting sail.

That’s right, France was so happy to ship those illegals out and more fool May for taking them in.
After that, he is in no position to criticise the Italians.
What is really needed though is a common declaration by all European countries that anybody arriving without a visa will be sent back. Anyone asking for asylum has to be remanded in detention until their case is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Until Merkel is carried off to jail for treason or a padded cell for delusionals, we might have to wait a while before we get such a common declaration.

It is so. Macron should not have turned them over to England but returned them to their own countries. The Calais migrants are no good, maybe the worst.
Now he should move all of them into detention and never take more.
Ciotti is correct but his party is the new version of the Sarkozy party that let so many in and Sarkozy took no significant action to expel them when they had the chances to.
Marine still the best hope for France. How great a misfortune that she lost that election.

Napoleon Complex? Little Corporal Macron Scolds Poles!

How dare Muppet Macron lecture Poland!

    =

    =

The Poles – unlike Macron and his mentor Mama Stasi Merkel…

    ====

    ===

….represent real European traditional values and expect respect for sovereignty – their own and other people’s too.

Poles are a courageous breed, and their current government is carrying on Poland’s historic heroic role, standing up against hostile powers, bullies, just as they did back in 1939.

    =

    =

Muppet’s rant last week, that Poland “marginalises” itself in the EU “on a number of issues” is frankly offensive.

The diversity-obsessed ‘EU’ has long since divorced itself from the real Europe, which sees itself as a patchwork of Western cultural entities, intent, as that nasty Dutchman made clear, not that long ago…

    =====

    .Hasil gambar

Frans Timmermans, the Dutch vice-president of the European Commission, said that “diversity was the future of the world,” and that Eastern European nations would just have to “get used to that.”

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/hungary/11893375/Hungary-to-EU-migrant-quotas-will-repeat-Western-Europes-failed-attempts-at-multiculturalism.html

….on obliterating the distinct peoples who form the nations that exist all across the Continent.

However ‘marginalised’ Poland may be in the EUSSR, its values and standards are irreproachable, and on the issues identified by EUObs namely migration and its domestic rule of law situation, they are the envy of millions…

    =

    =

…who want leadership that takes a stand against the migrant menace, and courts that defend the rights of their own people and are not packed with place-men beholden to the left-liberals who appointed them.

That goes for millions of ordinary folks in France, among all the patriots who voted for Marine, in the UK, where the majority voted to free their realm from Brussels rule, and in most, probably all, the other lands still under supranational control.

But Macron’s vision of Europe has little room for democracy.

    ===

    Gambar terkait

    ====

He seems to have developed, or maybe has always had – just previously disguised – a Napoleon Complex, delusions of grandeur which permit him to talk down to other governments and insult the nations they represent.

He has talked about referenda to boost parts of his own economic agenda, but, like his predecessor, Le Retch Hollande, he disdains any democratic consultation on key issues like the illegal immigrant crisis…

In France Today, Democracy’s ‘A Threat To Public Order!’

…and the return of the guillotine to deal with the threat of Islamist terror.

    I don’t think Muppet Macron is a fool…

    – – after all, anyone who gets away with ripping off a daily fortune from the tax-payers for his make-up is no dimwit –Macron Spends Thousands On Makeup

…but he’s blind to what democracy’s all about.

He rounded off his arrogant barrage last Friday by telling his counterparts in Warsaw that the ‘Polish people,’ who gave the Polish Government a handsome victory in elections less than two years ago, “deserved better.’

But what about his own people, in France?

“France is not a reformable country. Many have tried and they have not succeeded because the French hate reform.” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/aug/26/emmanuel-macron-reform-france-labour-laws-challenge-unions

That’s what he said last week!

Do the French too deserve better than what they voted for?

In France there was a good President De Gaulle but no good president since then.
I was there on the street in 1968 when we had to fight what is now called Antifa but De Gaulle defeated them by democracy. He called the election and he took a big majority.

This Macron is like Merkel’s French poodle and now he turns his little biting teeth on Poland that was always our friend.
      He shames France.
