So Mouthy Murphy Thinks ‘No-Go’ Areas Are Back?
Having Ulster on my mind today…

…I felt I must look at a news item from a few days ago.
Who the Hell does Niall Murphy think he us, reviving the outrageous notion of “No-Go Areas” in Ulster?

Some of us are old enough to remember giving a cheer on the morning of the happy day of Operation Motorman, when UK armed forces put an end to the arrogant Sinn Fein/IRA no-go zones…

Operation Motorman was a large operation carried out by the British Army in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. The operation took place in the early hours of 31 July 1972 with the aim of retaking the “no-go areas” that had been established in Belfast and other urban centres. Wikipedia

…so it’s irritating that some upstart lawyer in Belfast this month has the nerve to declare that police have ‘no right’ to operate in the city’s Ormeau Road…
I won’t go into the details of the incident, caused by republican trouble-makers, from which the PSNI high command does not emerge with much distinction.
You can read about that here….https://www.newsletter.co.uk/news/troubles/psni-free-say-if-it-investigating-criminal-offences-sean-graham-bookmakers-commemoration-says-police-ombudsman-3131235

…to stop weaselling and get cracking with the case of the person referred to as ‘Mr. Sykes.’
I simply report what the local newspaper reported.
‘Speaking after his release from police custody, Mr Sykes’ lawyer Niall Murphy of KRW Law said the PSNI had “no right” to be at the commemoration event.
”The only disorderly behaviour that happened on the Ormeau Road today was by the police who had no right to be there…”

I’m not sure if there’s anything on the statute book to cover ‘incitement to establish safe havens for scum,’ but since clearly Mouthy Murphy fails to realise that law enforcement has EVERY right to patrol the public highways of British Ulster, including Belfast’s Ormeau Road…

The PSNI are screwing this up
They cower away fron the Sinn Fein lot.
Even though, they let the side down, still they have the right to police all over Ulster.
Murphy should shut it.

Murphy loves seeing his name in the papers.
He must know he’s talking sh-te when he says police aren’t allowed on the Ormeau Road but he gets a headline.
Even if it’s only in your blog!
