Paradox – Gagged Amber Rudd Spawned A Foul-Mouth!

It’s impossible, I am sorry to say, to feel sorry for Amber Rudd.

    .

    Awful Amber Rudd

As Home Secretary, she behaved disgracefully, allowing young alien brutes of military age to barge into Britain as ‘unaccompanied minors’ – she refused point-blank to subject the hulking crimmigrants to simple painless age-checks.

Little kiddies imported into UK by Rudd

Arrest Amber Rudd? Calais Crimmigrant “Age Checks

    ……

    Why?

Only she knows for sure, but she has been a rancid liberal for as long as she’s been in politics.

Until that Windrush episode upset her ideological soul-mates!

Now she has been ‘no-platformed’ by a pack of pinko bints at Oxford University.

    ..

That phrase is the dilletante left-liberal version of the thuggery preferred by the storm-troops of Red Nazi Antifa…

    .

    ..

…not violent, like the Antifa louts are violent, but displaying the same intolerant mind-set, totalitarian really, nonetheless.

Obviously it’s deplorable, and Rudd’s daughter, a nonentity named Florence Gill, is angry on her mummy’s behalf:

I don’t care if you disagree with her. Its fucking rude This is NOT how women should treat each other.”

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/mar/06/amber-rudd-hits-out-at-rude-oxford-students-after-talk-cancelled

Which demonstrates very clearly that Mummy did a poor job of bringing up her daughter.

While people ( including Yours Truly) often use bad language to vent emotions…

(as last month, when part of the cornice on my ceiling fell on top of me while I was drinking morning coffee – NB, I didn’t spill a drop!)

…people who were raised to be civil do NOT use such words where anyone and everyone can read or hear them.

    Only foul-mouths do that.

    ooooo

Liberals do little to defend free speech when patriots get hammered, ‘No-Platformed’ by pig-ignorant students.

Some of the worst censorship laws, indeed, have been passed with the support of ‘conservative’ liberals like Rudd.

But boy-oh-boy, the liberal elite sure rally round each other when it happens to one of their own!

A number of former politicians also came to Rudd’s defence.

Responding to Gill, the former chancellor of the exchequer George Osborne tweeted: “Don’t worry about your mum – ‘no platforming’ one of the most senior female politicians of our generation at an International Women’s Day event just makes the Oxford students involved look stupid & small-minded, the very opposite of what that great university stands for. Their loss.”

So it’s ‘stupid’ if it’s done to a ‘senior female politician’ – but did Osborne make his voice heard…

UK Gaystapo War On Freedom – Red Queers Get Preacher Banned!

    …when Franklin Graham was banned?

The former Labour deputy leader Tom Watson posted: “If you’re trying to silence Amber Rudd you really are being anti-democratic.”

But if you try to silence other people with other points of view…? Are you then less ‘anti-democratic?’

The former Conservative and Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Wollaston tweeted: “No platforming of @AmberRuddUK by Oxford is absurd & worrying. Why are universities allowing ideological fringes to crush freedom of speech in our centres of excellence?”

    Good question?

But did Wollaston ask about freedom of speech when Katy Hopkin’s Twitter account was suppressed last month?

Costa Oz-Cop? Bill The Red Nazis, Not Their Victims!

Good to see that Victoria Police have backed off their irrational attempt to present outrageously expensive bills for doing what cops are there to do, uphold the law!

In this instance, we’re talking about the law that affords people the right to speak at legal, peaceful, political gatherings, at events they have arranged entirely lawfully…

….and should not be subject to violent disruption by mobs of leftist thugs.

The rather sensible Laura Southern, whom not only intolerant antifa scum but also the Google/YouTube censorship axis…

Similarly, Milo Yiannopoulos got ‘a $50,000 bill following violence between rival protesters outside his Kensington event. Three people were charged.

Those ’protestors’ were not there to protest.

    .

The marxist rabble went there to prevent the speakers from talking to people who wanted to hear what they had to say.

The red louts do not accept that rightwingers have the same rights as everyone else to express their views and promote their entirely democratic anti-left message.

Free speech for all is a concept beyond the comprehension of Red Nazi Antifa.

    True, policing is not cheap.

So charge those whose known, notorious propensity for vicious aggro requires a massive police presence.

Organisations which incite onslaughts on legitimate conservative or populist or nationalist rallies, or conferences, or demonstrations anywhere in Victoria, or anywhere in Australia, or in the UK, or in America…

The leftwingers are the ones at fault. They are not content to hold their protests peacefullly and only want to shut down other peoples meetings..
That is fact, so if anybody has to pay for all those extra police, it has to be them.

Al Jazeera’s Myopic Look Back At May ’68 “Events!”

I almost laughed out loud this morning, but didn’t, since at 7.30am I’m not really into ‘loud…’

    =

….esp. after a few drinks last night with my most welcome holiday weekend visitor from overseas!

    =

…when the presentrix of a retrospect on the May 1968 ‘events’ in France displayed typical Al Jazeera objectivity.

Speaking of the revolting ‘students’ then, she said they were motivated by the ‘suffocating conservatism that held sway under President Charles De Gaulle.

    =

    ====

In fact, they were ‘motivated’ by infantile marxist ingratitude for the excellent educational facilities provided them by the terribly cruel country they lived in. Nobody had bullied them into universities, but they inexplicably imagined that these groves of academe somehow belonged to them.

That was when all this ‘occupation’ nonsense began.

That photo above shows one of the rabble-rousers most notorious at the time, ‘Danny The Red,’ aka Daniel Cohn-Bendit, whose very presence in France was a cause for curiosity, exacerbated when, in later life, he became a prominent politician…in Germany!

    =

    =

But his choice of party then confirms what we often say, that Reds shape-shift very easily into Greens.

Daniel Cohn-Bendit and the German Greens’ pedophile problem

Where I was then, at a grand old university in the United Kingdom, we had nothing so riotous as Paris suffered, but there were still ‘dilettante revolutionists’ about, who tried to arrogate to themselves whose voices might be heard and whose might not.

    =

    ==

We confronted these prototype Red Nazis, the political grandfathers of the Antifa scum we see today…

    =

…and we put them in their place.

As indeed did De Gaulle, who, as the Al Jazeera witter-woman had eventually to admit, called for a counter-demonstration, which was massive…

    =

People Power-  on 30th May, 1968, Parisians showed support for De Gaulle

    =

…then called an election and his regime of ‘suffocating conservatism’ was returned to power ‘with an increased majority!

Then, as now, democracy was the best cure to apply in lands afflicted by marxist (or liberal) maladies.

A pleasant and educational break from your usual topics, and I can remember that insane time, though I was not a university student then.
So many of us who were not, or not yet, privileged to enjoy higher education ourselves, were shocked at the behaviour of those who were.
If the authorities then had expelled the uncouth spoiled brats who invaded and occupied property not theirs, many years of disorder might have been nipped in the bud. ,

Shock Poll – Most UK ‘Students’ Infected With Red Nazism?

    • Interesting story on the BBC last month, about how  Britain’s Universities Minister Jo Johnson has pledged to curb the Red Nazi storm-troop tendency in publicly-funded colleges.

    • ==
    • =
    • Johnson is surely correct to declare that “no-platforming”, the policy of banning controversial speakers, is stifling debate.

    • =====

    Johnson

    =

We have covered this issue before, on imbecilic intolerance in UK universities as far apart as Warwick…Warwick Wallies Weasel Out of War on Free Speech – For Now! and East Anglia

If anyone needs background on how Red Nazi censorship began ( in the 1960s) you can see what I wrote in Crack-Down Time In Canada – Smash The Red Nazis!  –  the problem of leftist intimidation is as big in Canada and in the USA as it is in The Old Country.

If you’re already au fait with the issue, you’ll applaud Johnson’s speech, in which he recognised realities.

“In universities in America and worryingly in the UK, we have seen examples of groups seeking to stifle those who do not agree with them…   http://www.bbc.com/news/education-42481329

    ======

…We must not allow this to happen. Young people should have the resilience and confidence to challenge controversial opinions and take part in open, frank and rigorous discussions.”

The BBC also offers some background on ‘no-platforming’ of people the uni-reds dislike but also on the moronic ‘safe space policies!’

    =

“Safe space” policies are intended to protect students from views and language they find offensive, including discrimination.

    =

    BOO-BLOODY-HOO!

No Platform is simply jackboot fanaticism…

    =

    =

…a hatred of patriotic or conservative ideas, which the college commies cannot defeat in debate  – hence they want them silenced.

    But this ‘safe space’ slop?

    Pathetic!

Smarmy little brats need to be PROTECTED from ideas?

If they are THAT immature then they have no place in institutions of higher education at all.

Best put them back in kindergarten, or a toddlers’ creche, where they can throw their tantrums under proper supervision.

But this next part’s where my headline came from –

In 2016, nearly two thirds of university students believed the National Union of Students was right to have a “no-platform” policy. That approach means people or groups on a banned list for holding racist or fascist views are not given a platform to speak on student union premises.

First of all, it’s ridiculous that self-confessed marxists are allowed,  yet racists and fascists (designated as such by NUS retards, of course) are banned.

    =

Communism has killed more human beings than ever the ‘fascists’ did!

Even if a banned speaker chooses to show up dressed as Mussolini, why shouldn’t he or she be free to speak? Were Il Duce’s thoughts so grand that no undergraduate today can challenge them?

More realistically, we have seen many examples of non-‘fascist,’ non-‘racist’ speakers, like spokespersons for UKIP, blacklisted by Red Nazis who call the shots in student affairs. That East Anglian example near the top of our page is one such.

But who puts the red scum in charge of student unions?

    The ‘students!’

The reds are elected by ‘students,’ in elections where all students can vote. The reds use ‘mass meetings’ to push through their infantile repressive resolutions, meetings at which every student is entitled to attend and vote.

So that poll seems to be accurate.

Most students’ are either complicit in Red Nazi intolerance, or, if not, too slack-brained to do anything about it.

    =

    Collaborators or creeps!

    ==============

Maybe Johnson’ new Office for Students will preserve freedom of speech with its proposed fines for universities that don’t actively move against threats. They could even be suspended or deregistered.

Or why not look at bolder ideas!

Might be better to provide student services via the universities rather than the student unions. Then make union membership voluntary rather than  automatic. The student unions represent very little

    • Pamela 18:07 on January 4, 2018 Permalink | Reply

OMG, Ross, you are on top form today! So much of interest for us to read and enthuse over.

I have relatives who are recent graduates and I have asked them why so many student unions are run by enemies of democracy. The answer is always the same, that they and most of their friends never have anything to do with union politics because they prefer to study or ‘have fun.’

I am very glad our parents and grandparents did not prefer to ‘have fun’ when required to fight in WW 2.
Those who came back from the war did study at universities, some of them, but appreciated their opportunities and were grateful to their country for them.
Even those who ran the student unions then were interested in providing services.and kept politics out of it.

There are some good young people around who do their best to oppose the bad marxist element, but nt enough.
The college principals should expel anyone who wants to stifle free speech. If they are too stupid to argue and debate ideas they find ‘offensive,’ they should not be enjoying the privilege of education.

Crack-Down Time In Canada – Smash The Red Nazis!

A good article in  the Sun last week, by Candice Malcolm, but although she makes plenty of useful points, there’s one sentence, admittedly a quote from one of her colleagues, that needs to be challenged –

“…the ‘Antifa’ movement has always had at its core a group of masked violent thugs who delight in assaulting innocent people and destroying property.”

    http://www.torontosun.com/2017/08/30/undeserved-praise-for-antifas-thugs

The problem with that assertion is not in its description of the storm-troop mentality and the consequently outrageous behaviour of the hoodlums…

    =

    =

…but the suggestion that the evil in Antifa  is limited to its core.

Antifa is entirely rotten, not only at its core but in its entirety.

    And it’s nothing new.

Anyone who went to university in the Sixties – certainly in the UK, where I was a student, but, I suspect, in North America too – will remember the so-called ‘No Platform’ censorship movement, not something restricted to fringe marxist cliques but fully endorsed by the official representative student organisation, the National Union of  Students.

    =

Hasil gambar untuk nus no platform list

    =

Not only was anyone deemed ‘far-right’ to be denied the right to speak but even denied the right to stand for election to NUS office.

And despite continuous opposition from students who understand that democracy requires all opinions to be heard and debated, that intolerant policy is still in place today.

One NUS ratbag even ordered fellow-students to ban a speaker, with these ominous words –

“…if any students are hurt in and around this event responsibility will lie with you..”

    – and that wasn’t in the ‘revolutionary’ Sixties, but just a couple of years ago!

What made the 1960s adoption of ‘No Platform’ most outlandish was the composition of  the NUS leadership back then. Most of those who said ‘fascists and racists’ had to be silenced were in fact active in parties utterly hostile to freedom.

The nearest thing to ‘moderates’ then were leftist Labour Party members (some of whom rose to high government office) but Communists were riding high.

    =

    =

At least one activist in the CPGB, Digby Jacks, became NUS President – yes, a leading light of the Communist Party, which had acted as the handmaiden of a foreign totalitarian power since its foundation…

    =

    Gambar terkait

Violence cannot be a principle that we oppose or support. It is a tactic, a tool that can be used by anyone. In order to be for or against a tactic, we need to examine who is using it and, most importantly, to what end….

What do socialists say about violence? – Socialist Worker

…and Trotskyists, the Socialist Workers’ Party, who openly despised British democracy, abounded.

Like Jeremy Corbyn, they were fans of the Sinn Fein/IRA murder gang. SWP was in fact simply a new name for the group known previously as IS (International Socialism Group) –

IS’s position was always one of unconditional support for the IRA in the struggle against imperialism..”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialist_Workers_Party_(UK)

So the readiness of the far-left – the cultural marxists – to resort to vicious violence when they – as they invariably do – lack the wit or the courage to defeat nationalists or conservatives in free and fair debate is nothing new.

    =

    =

What is new is the eager embrace of people in the media and major political parties to excuse these scum, exalt their violence even, as a means of suppressing opposition to the multicult agenda.

We saw it in the USA, with the disgraceful RINO bleating…

McCain claimed they were simply “Americans standing up to defy hate and bigotry.”

Hillary Clinton’s campaign spokesman attempted to legitimize Antifa, comparing these masked radicals to Allied soldiers who fought against the Nazis during WWII.

And we know that Turdo, who took such strong exception to alien barbaric practices being called barbaric practices…

    =

Turdistanada Nixes Condemnation Of Barbaric Practices!

…is of a like mind to those guilty of such pathetic pronouncements.

If the problem had been tackled back when it surfaced, the nasty elements expelled from universities and those convicted given meaningful sentences by courts, it might have been stamped out.

Unfortunately, ‘occupations’ by uppity undergrads of college property were usually allowed to go unpunished, as a rule. Much as the ‘Occupy’ movement, a year or so back…

‘Occupy’ Vagrants Cling on in Glasgow, Crime Rampant in US Counterparts

Proof Positive – OCCUPY is What We Knew It Was!

…. was not dealt with promptly and forcefully, by armed police with clear authorisation, where necessary, to use lethal force against the filthy savages.

Politicians like Scheer in Canada have made noises about free speech, but shown little appetite for putting their words into action, double standards on display on the media…

    =

Hasil gambar untuk scheer the rebel

Scheer says he’ll reject interviews with The Rebel until it changes

…and the right of ALL Canadians to demonstrate peacefully…

Take away federal funding if universities don’t protect free speech ..

Brave words, but what a difference a few months were to make!

    Conservative leader’s free speech pledge wouldn’t apply in U of T ...

No wonder the cowardly Red Nazis of Antifa, hiding behind their masks…

I too attended an English university in the 1960s into the 1970s and I saw with my own eyes the RSSF and the RSA and the Communists all out to shout down and silence conservative speakers and the occupations they organised.
They would hold what they called mass meetings to support their actions and many students never bothered to attend because they wanted to study.
It was the fault of the majority of the students who did not care enough to oppose the left. I was one of the the ones who did attend and speak and vote against the left but we were outvoted most of the time.
There was violence sometimes but it is so much worse now.

American Red Nazis Amok- As Anti-Trump Thugs Exculpated By Kasich and Cruz!

Anyone who went to a British university in the sixties and/or seventies will be familiar with the red nazi phenomenon, ‘No Platform,’ they called it then, whereby marxist gangs, SWP, WRP etc, having found themselves intellectually inadequate to debate rightwingers, openly resorted to hoodlum tactics to silence their opponents.

    ———–

    • The foul phenomenon never went away, and gangster groups like UAF and ‘antifa’ have been active against patriot parties like UKIP in recent years.

We now see the same intolerance in America, hordes of hooligan leftists pouring into a Trump rally NOT to engage in intelligent heckling but PURELY to shut it down.

Black Lives Matter Activists Take Online Victory Lap

I just watched an obnoxious bigot on tv boasting of their success in stopping normal political activity, and on more than one news-site we read that louts and loutesses wearing “Black Lives Matter” shirts were prominent among the rabble, so not just reds but racists too.  –

    ==================

    ———————–

What is more offensive than the hooligan mob, however, is the way some politicians who ought to know better are now blaming the mayhem not on those who caused it but on Trump’s ‘rhetoric.’

The contemptible Kasich spouted typical liberal double-talk.

    ———–

    –

    ———–

Ohio Governor John Kasich, also battling Trump for the Republican presidential nomination, said the protests occurred because “the seeds of division that Donald Trump has been sowing this whole campaign finally bore fruit.” Rivals say Trump’s rhetoric partly to blame for protests

Sadly, Ted Cruz made similar mealy-mouthed comments, which I hope he will reconsider.

    BUT..

I must – for the first time ever – congratulate Rubio, who observed that protests in Chicago had become “an industry” and some of the people involved were “probably being paid to do this.”

Only retards respond to words with thuggery.

One might wish it were still 1968 and the Chicago cops had emulated their predecessors’ handling of the Communist sympathisers who tried to storm the Democratic Convention back then. Most Americans saw through the media’s slurring of the police and applauded the then Mayor and his police.

Daley shared he had received 135,000 letters supporting his actions and only 5000 condemning them. Public opinion polls demonstrated that the majority of Americans supported the Mayor’s tactics.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1968_Democratic_National_Convention

New Intolerance on Campus? An Event Brits Should Attend!

    The New Intolerance on Campus

I see there’s a conference on campus intolerance coming up, organised by Spiked!

They talk in terms of a ‘new’ intolerance, but having attended a UK university in the Sixties, let me assure younger readers that the Left back then was just about as nasty as today.

See our post on one university which has resembled a loony-bin almost since it was founded!

Warwick Wallies Weasel Out of War on Free Speech – For Now!

Free speech has been an endangered species for AGES!

However, Spiked! are an interesting bunch and whilst not always in tune with my views on the world, I’m happy to give details of their event so Brit readers can attend if they wish.

    ==================

The conference titled The New Intolerance on Campus is on Wednesday, 17 February 2016 from 12 to 5pm at Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London, WC1R 4RL.

With sessions on Safe Spaces, the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, No Platforming and hate speech, we will explore if the New Intolerance on campus is producing a generation of intellectual bigots, young minds that would rather censor or boycott their opponents than argue with them.

    • 11.55am:                     Doors open
    • 12pm – 12.40pm:       Lunch provided
    • 12.40pm – 12.45pm   Welcome
    • 12.45pm – 2pm:         Safe Spaces: education or therapy? debate
    • 2pm – 2.15pm:           Tea & coffee break

    • 3.40pm – 4.55pm:      ‘No Platform: is hate speech free speech?’
    • 4.55pm – 5pm:           Closing remarks

    (Speakers TBA)

Anti-UKIP Freaks Face Threats? Reaping What You Sow…

I’m sure most decent people in Britain shared the disgust I felt for the filthy freaks who barged into a pub where Nigel Farage was having lunch with his family.

If there are honourable, decent people in the media bothered to investigate the scum’s background, I strongly suspect they’ll find that at least the ring-leaders are ex-SWP, the red nazis of the Socialist Workers’ Party.  Much like the UAF hoodlum outfit whose violence we have all witnessed.

That more or less defunct SWP marxist thug-gang was notorious in the 70s and 80s for its hateful and desperate efforts to intimidate students whose views they disliked.

They were ardent enforcers for the NUS ‘No Platform’ policy which sought to silence opposition voices on university campuses.

So why on earth does the Guardian deem it a big story that the filthy morons are facing a backlash.

Demonstrators who forced Nigel Farage to flee pub receive abusive messages by text and email as well as on Twitter and Facebook.   http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/mar/25/police-investigate-ukip-protest-threat-nigel-farage-pub

WHAT THE HELL DO THESE SCUMBAGS EXPECT???
