The Uppity Arrogance Of UK Pravda

I of course provide a link at the bottom of my page so you can read the whole story.

It’s a revelation of BBC hubris.

It’s about Scottish politics, so unless you’re into that febrile blend of oddities…

    Something Weird About SNP?

    …and intolerants…

    Asinine SNP Ideologue Shames Scotland!

….you may not be too interested – …

…except insofar as UK Pravda’s malpractice is concerned…

The devil is not in the detail…

Ofcom said that was insufficient because of the gravity of Davidson’s allegations; the fact World at One broadcast them at length without any alternative perspectives, such as Sturgeon’s stance; and its failure to tell listeners they could hear more on this later that day on Radio 4..

…but in the denouement, the stunningly arrogant UK Pravda response!

The BBC said it noted the Ofcom ruling, but is not obliged to broadcast or announce it…

    What the Hell?

No matter it’s the SNP ( which I detest) that’s got a judgement against BBC for unfair treatment.

Who do these uppity BBC elitists think they are, to boast that they’ll simply shrug off…

….and cover-up a ruling that damns their disregard of  professional standards?

    Hubris is indeed the word!

Their supercilious, condescending, downright contemptuous retort to a well-deserved slap-down by a statutory body….

( and again, I have no high opinion of OfCom  but when it’s rulings are made, a snotty brush-off by those ruled against is not the usual outcome!)

…should be the main story in UK media…

    ….and around the world.

They look down on the people that are forced to pay for their licensed bias. That statemenr you show us is elitism writ large.
      Quite infuriating, as you say.

Reminder – Why OfCom Needs Gutted!

Further to our post earlier today, it looks like quite a lot of uptights and whiners got involved in the vote that gave disgusting ‘Diversity’ their win…

…and unsurprising that most decent Brits declined to take part.

After all, when 25,000 good people complained to OfCom last year about the scumbags’ exaltation of the BLM  cop-hate message…

Diversity’s routine included a white performer kneeling on Banjo’s neck, a reference to George Floyd’s death in police custody, and dancers dressed as riot police. It also featured themes about the coronavirus pandemic, poverty and capitalism…

    Gramsci would have loved it!

…concluded the programme did not raise issues which warranted investigation under its broadcasting rules.

…the decent people’s complaints were dismissed disdainfully, by an unelected clique of leftist bums…

…who, BTW, deliberately altered their terms of snooper reference last year to include the BLM catch-phrase ‘diversity.’

I haven’t bothered to look for the voting figures – which don’t seem to be mentioned in many of the gloating left-media coverage of the rat-bags’ BAFTA triumph…

…but I imagine they came both from areas infested with undesirable anti-socials..

    …and from gentrified districts…

…populated by pinko creeps, e.g. sociology lecturers and ‘NGO’ flunkeys.

Don’t Just Moan About Channel 4’s Marxist Mafia – Here’s the Complaint Form!

Many’s the time and oft we hear or watch some pinko cr#p on tv or radio.

We complain to whoever’s with us, or to ourselves, about the cultural marxist clique that infests the media.

“That programme is a damned disgrace. They ought to be put off the air!”

    Or something to that effect.

Then we change channels or open a bottle and move on…

    Here’s how –  the Ofcom form –  https://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/tell-us/specific-programme-epg

PS – And don’t say ‘it won’t do any good!’  It’ll do more good than sitting on your backside belly-aching! And trust me, you’ll feel better!
