One Word For Oxymoron Europhiliac Dorrell – “Wensum!” Look It Up!

Stephen Dorrell, former Tory minister, has declared himself a convert to Shrill Soubry’s cabal of Fourth Reich fans.

An oxymoron is the best way to describe how Dorrell The Drip defines himself.

If you’re not sure what an oxymoron is, it’s two words that cancel each other out in terms of meaning, e.g. the living dead. Or in his case –

    A liberal conservative!”

A better description might be ignoramus, viz.  his laughable bracketing of Churchill and Heath as –

both passionate advocates of the importance of recognising our common interests in Europe.’. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/apr/14/nationalists-grip-tories-i-now-support-change-uk-brexit-european-elections

That is grossly offensive to Churchill, who made it abundantly plain that his country would be a friend to Europe but would not be any political part of any “European Project.”

Heath the Homo, in contrast, disgraced himself..

….with lies about sovereignty which, as much as his shadow-life as a sexual aberrant, consign him to history as a vile and villainous figure.

But if you really want to get the measure of the man Dorrell, you only need one word.

Wikipedia is a start, but just put Wensom and Dorrell into Google Search together and you’ll see what I’m on about!

      Wensum was worth checking out.
I wonder if Dorell is the ‘former senior Tory minister’ that Soubry’s gang have recruited to be an MEP candidate.
They must be desperate if that’s who they want to represent them.

Moldovan Oxymorons Dump Bludgers on Europe!

When we were at school, our Latin and Greek teachers used to delight us with the word ‘oxymoron,’ denouncing certain class-mates as ‘diligent sloths,’ but the most impressive  example was surely the Swiss navy. How could a land-locked country have a fleet?

Even more so Moldova, a tiny land embedded in a land-mass ( I won’t detour into how it was stolen by Stalin from Romania, to whom it should have reverted after the fall of the Evil Empire! Romania, after all, was once known as Moldavia and Wallachia, in its happier days as a monarchy)

    • So how come the latest crimmigrant cargo was brought into European seas by a Moldovan ship?

I don’t know. Italy’s now lumbered itself with them. Maybe they should be put on trains or trucks and transported to the country whose vessel facilitated their passage? As it’s possibly the least prosperous place in Europe, for sure the welfare benefits will not be as munificent as within the EUSSR.

And welfare benefits, not ‘asylum,’ are what these illegal immigrants are all about!

PS -I hear today there’s been an action replay, this time a ship registered in Sierra Leone.

That African nation is not land-locked, but with its recent history of civil war and Ebola, represents an even less attractive destination than Moldova.  Makes you think that the threat of despatch to the registered source of the culprit armadas in this crimmigration racket might be another option in the defence of the civilised world.

      Happy New Year, Ross.
You haven’t lost your touch despite your holiday hurrah-hurrahs.
I don’t think the European Union really cares what happens to the people they rule over, so they won’t be doing what you propose. But after the anti-illegal rioting in Rome, I think the Italian people are ready to defend their country no matter what the Brussels or Italian politicians will or will not do.

So at last I have got what an oxymoron means. I have never been very sure.
It’s like an ‘honest lawyer,’ yes?
