    OMG! Vitalia Lagi?

One of our most delightful posts last year concerned that man-about-town Ahmad Fatanah, a gadabout Islamist apparatchik whose gadding about is now restricted to a somewhat confined area

Fatanah, a prominent cadre of the extremist PKS party, was famously quoted as modestly brushing aside the gratitude of a very hot model with almost unforgettable words.

Vitalia told the media how he showered her with gifts, and when she expressed mild curiosity at this, Fathanah responded with a piety we should all acclaim….he answered that Allah had given me all the things and money through him… http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2013/09/17/fathanah-showered-his-women-with-jewelry-cars-and-cash.html

Islamist to Sexy Model: ‘Don’t Thank Me, Thank Allah!”

    vitalia yummy

Yes, it’s the yummy Vitalia again, but alas, the news last night revealed she has been ARRESTED!

It seems the cops raided a party at a fairly posh hotel in Ancol, on Jakarta’s northern shore, and collected a lot of drugs. They also collected a number of people including V.

I hope she manages to prove her innocence, because to have such a gorgeous being out of circulation, even briefly, is..well, it’s sad, isn’t it?

And I must admit I felt sorry too for Ahmad, whose pursuit of fun made him seem a much more appealing figure than the PKS’s present leader, Anis Matta.

That’s the guy who wrote that nauseating ode to his personal pin-up – here’s a not very sexy picture of Anis’s object of adoration.

Good luck, Vitalia, in your current troubles. I’m sure justice will be done!

And if you appreciate my sympathy, I can only say, please feel free to thank me!

Islamist Bigot – “Why Should the Majority Respect the Minority?”

“Why should the majority respect the minority?” Ali Badri Zaini, the head of the East Java chapter of the Islamic Dakwah Forum..

    • Ratusan Habaib se-Jatim Deklarasi Dukung Prabowo
    • ==================

“The minority should respect the majority. The minister is [talking] nonsense. The Islamic faithful in East Java will never do as he instructs.”

He said it was considered customary for all warung to at least close off their façade with a tarp so as not to tempt those who were fasting.

    main-lukman-hakim4 Lukman

This arrogant bigot is up in arms because Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman last week tweeted an appeal for MUTUAL tolerance. His words, on the need for mutual respect and understanding for those who were not fasting, echoed the late President Gus Dur.

    gus dur fasting

‘We Muslims should fast with respect for those not fasting.’ -A REAL Muslim scholar, the late President Gus Dur

Regardless of the specific fasting issue, it’s hard to see how anyone could respect such a rabid ranter as Ali Badri Zaini.

But he is only one of many enemies of tolerance here.

Jazuli Jawani, a legislator from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), said Lukman’s call for those who were fasting to respect those who were not was highly regrettable.

    • Jazuli argued that it was only natural for those “carrying out the faith” to be granted greater respect than those who were not…

No it’s not. Those who are fasting only have to show a bit of self-discipline.

    • FPI_13
    • ———–

Those who are not fasting risk the brutal intimidation we often feature here, meted out by fanatic savages like the IslamoNazi FPI.

And how dare any member of the PKS talk about any statement from anyone being highly regrettable – has Jazuli forgotten his party leader’s sickening ode to the mass-murder Osama Bin Laden? Written AFTER 9/11?

    anisAnis Matta

    osama_bin_satan mass-murdering beast Bin Laden

    That’s regrettable!

But we can dismiss Zainal and Jazuli as outlandish extremists, singing from the same song-sheet as the IslamoNazis…...non-Muslim citizens who aren’t fasting, Zainal added, should take care not to disturb the sanctity of Ramadan. Especially eating and drinking in front of others at places open to public view…      http://nasional.news.viva.co.id/news/read/638009/fpi-janji-tak-lakukan-sweeping-saat-ramadhan That’s another Zainal,  Zainal Abidin Petir, FPI Gauleiter in Central Java.

Nevertheless, the same triumphalist tripe has just emerged from the Deputy Governor of Jakarta echoes this intolerance –  Djarot Saiful Hidayat also urged restaurants to install curtains on their windows during Ramadhan in order to respect those who are fasting. –http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2015/06/15/jakarta-administration-and-residents-prepare-ramadhan.html

Respect again. Beause they’re fasting, everyone else has to hide behind a curtain? And bars have to be closed? Because fasters might be tempted?

What’s self-denial worth in moral merit, if there’s not a scent or sight of anything one’s supposed to be denying oneself?

And how contemptuous these Islamist extremists are, of those they purport to represent!

Not all Muslims fast, by any means – it’s up to them, after all – but of those who do, it bespeaks a commitment that they choose to make.

Not eating during daylight hours is no serious hardship, but going thirsty, in this climate, is no fun. Yet they undertake to do so, and a lot of them stick to it. I can admire such tenacity.

But it’s a personal choice. Their personal choice. It should not impinge on anyone else.

Do bleating blow-hards like the Zainals really think that fasters will be subverted by the sight of me or anyone else sitting in my fave warteg having a plate of perkadel?

Sure, if I held out my plate enticingly, like one of Odysseus’ sirens, urging some poor faster to share my delight.

Tempting then like that would be mean, but nobody does that.

If some fasters walk by a bar and – inexplicably! – choose to peer nosily into its dimly-lit interior, and catch sight of me with a cold Bintang? Is either Zainal seriously saying the devout will at once cast off their self-control and rush in to join me in a binge?

    • bintang
    • Sure, if I sent out some lightly-clad bar-girl, extolling the joys of a cool quaff on a torrid arvo.

Tempting them like that would be mean, but nobody’s going to do that.

    The killjoys’ case is codswallop.

    And they know it!

Their only aim is to make minorities bow down. As Ali Badri Zainal, more honestly than the rest, indeed, puts it!

“Why Should the Majority Respect the Minority?”

But there’s always a silver lining in these stories, and in this one it’s an off-the-cuff remakr by one of Lukman’s critics, a legislator from ex-President SBY’s party.

Khatibul Umam Wiranu, a member of the Democratic Party, accused Lukman of trying to curry popular support through the media through statements like his call for mutual respect. .

Which means that Khatibul, at least, perceives that’ popular support’ accrues to leaders who publicly espouse decency, and not to intolerant undesirables.

Shariah City? Some 12,000 Reasons To Steer Clear of Depok!

And carrying on from the last post, more news from Depok, West Java – by the middle of last week, Habib Idrus al Gadri had collected 12,000 of the 106,152 voter ID photocopies he needs to get on the ballot paper.

    Now read on!

Depok, a city just beyond the capital’s city limits, is not a place where people who like living in the 21st or even the 20th century would choose to live. Islamist bigotry there is entrenched.

It’s not just the frothing fanatics of the FPI and their vicious vigilante raids, but was evident in the Communist-style expropriation by the city authorities of a minority house of worship a few years ago…  – https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2011/05/25/depok-jadi-kota-pki-islamist-council-grabs-private-property-communist-style/

….another sin of intolerance yet to be remedied by the Jokowi Government in Jakarta.

But the then Mayor, a follower of the jihadist PKS party (often said to be modelled on the Muslim Brotherhood) is approaching the end of his term of office.

The election is due later this year, in December, but already numerous luminaries have entered the fray.

Some are better than others, notably Rieke Diah Pitaloka.

    rieketetendalam Rieke

She is not only a spirited foe of the IslamoNazi element but is admired for her readiness to stick up for the downtrodden. We posted on one excellent example of this a while back.

Bravo RiekeHospital Caught in the Act!

However, although she’s pollng well, she lost her last battle in those parts…

West Java Votes for Dark Age, But Rieke’s A Ray of Sunshine

…and, after all,the current mayor is PKS. So maybe voters there prefer benighted rule to modern pluralism.

Certainly, if that’s so, they’ll love PKS.

    anisAnis Matta

    osama_bin_satan mass-murdering beast Bin Laden

That party’s national leader, Anis Matta, infamously wrote an adulatory ode to praise the terrorist mass-murderer Bin Laden after 9/11, a heinous thing to do but for which he’s never been called out by the major media or parties in Indonesia, which is sadly telling.

However, there is at least one other candidate who can out-jihad anyone else, none other than our frequent ‘star,’ the FPI Gauleiter for Depok, Habib Idrus. Damn sure he’ll not want to shake any voter’s hand if she’s the wrong sex! The white-shirt gangster group’s attitude on women has long been made clear, most famously by their Jakarta  leader, when he said.

Although some Dark Age dolls may cover their dainty fingers with a cloth, so as to shake without sin!

== –Idrus, Gauleiter of Depok FPI Depok’s FPI Gauleiter Habib Idrus

    • 000000000000000

Idrus was once described as looking berserk when he couldn’t break into the Mayor’s office –Islamist Bigot Biter Bit in West Java  – so he may feel that an electoral debut is a much less demanding approach!

Anyway, here’s a taste of what he wants for Depok.

The goal of Depok leadership is very clear…”Firstly, eradicate disobedience, with enforcement of shariah law. That’s most important, because we know immorality is rampant in this city…And also build Depok with a religious vision that can meet the needs of all its citizens.”

Nothing much new there that he hasn’t said before, EXCEPT that bit about a religious vision that can meet the needs of all its citizens.

    Really? ALL its citizens?

Including the innocent Ahmadiyah whose mosque was shamelessly stolen?

I’d love to believe him, but don’t.

I believe Habib Idrus is as much a friend to religious liberty as his movement’s Secretary General, Sobri Lubis, who is still available for your inspection here –  ‘Bunuh, bunuh, bunuh,’   – kill, kill, kill!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7RLCXNdKF4    –  on video, urging a pig-ignorant rabble to MURDER Ahmadis.

Tomorrow, Monday, is the deadline Idrus has to meet with all those endorsements.

    Will he make it?

Anyway, one of the local media has been running a poll.

Western readers won’t know many other names, but might find it fun to drop by this link  http://www.hariandepok.com/35698/fpi-depok-minta-satpol-pp-gelar-razia-di-apartemen-dan-tempat-kos which takes you to another Depok story, but on the righthand side of the page, you’ll see a list of calon walikota, mayoral candidates. It’s obviously open to anyone to participate!

Holy Bludger-Boats! Bin Laden Fan’s Party Calls for ‘Humanity?’

A leading member of the fanatical Islamist PKS party has urged the Indonesian Government to take in the hordes of Rohingya swarming the seas around the archipelago.

    • fahri hamzah

Fahri Hamzah, Deputy Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party, is quoted appealing to President Jokowi to create a special regulation on the issue. “Their suffering is evident. Do we, as a nation that believes in humanity, have the heart to see them suffer?”

    anis osama_bin_satan

    •  ====================

Noble sentiments, but his invocation of humanity as a guiding principle hardly sits well with the shameful record of his party leader, Anis Matta, whose humanitarian instincts were made manifest when he wrote that infamous ode of adulation after 9/11, singing the praises of mass-murderer Osama Bin Laden..

…..by Anis Matta about Osama bin Laden (transl. more or less):
    “A Letter for Osama
    You never told me
If you wanted to blow the WTC and Pentagon
Bush also had no evidence until now
    So I chose to believe
    In the love that emanates
Beneath the shade of your eyes
In the spirit of defence that is stored
Behind the denseness of your beard.
You are the one who taught
The dumb nations to be able to speak
    So they yelled.
You are the one who sowed the seeds of courage,
In the field of souls of those who were timid
    So they fought.
You are the one who spread the blessings of independence,
In the well of hearts of those who are oppressed
    So they struggled.
You are the one who stirred up the hopes in the sky
Awakening the hearts of the people
    So they rebelled.
You are the one who locked the mouth of the superpower nations,
    So they fell silent
And they can only run amok.
You are the one who undermined the pride
From the foreheads of the arrogant nations
    So they are silenced.
You are the one who robbed the sense of security
From the souls of the tyrannical nations
So they are never able to sleep soundly.
You are the one who snatched away the appetite for life
From the heaven of the hearts of those prosperous nations
So they are no longer enjoying life.

Osama oh Osama… Osama oh Osama
Let us sing the victory song’

Ya gotta be kidding! If Fahri’s concerns about humanity are serious, let’s hear him denounce Anis Matta!

And that ever-ready dial-a-shrill, Professor Hikmahanto  ‘The Mouth’ Juwana added his tuppence-worth.

“Don’t ever send them back to sea; don’t give them food and then send them away like Thailand and Malaysia have done.”

    juwonoarisaputra2 The Mouth

    • Well, sounds like he’s had a change of heart since his intervention in last year’s controversy over Oz-bound bludgers.

“Let the Australian authorities solve it…. If we can facilitate them going to Australia, there won’t be any more problems (for Indonesia).” Jakarta Prof – Send More Bludgers to Oz!

So The Mouth was keen to hasten crimmigrant cargos southwards back then, but now wants to welcome them into Indonesian ports?

But what’s his long-term strategy – feed them up, fix their boats, then point them towards Australia, a country on which his xenophobia is clearly fixated?

No More Drink? Jakarta on Brink of Prohibition

    Home early, with horrid news.
Lawmakers from secular parties have added their voices to those of their counterparts in Islamic parties in support of a bill prohibiting the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Fifteen years ago I’d have laughed out loud. Ten years ago I’d still have scoffed. Five years ago, I’d have said it was stretching things a bit.
=============================Now? Faced with today’s JP story, I’m reminded of the Sinclair Lewis novel…

    ‘It Can’t Happen Here!’

A disturbing tale of extremists coming to power in a society that naively took freedoms for granted. Thee so-called ‘secular’ parties appear to be crumbling before the advance of the worst elements in the land.

The JP lists ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), the Golkar Party and the Democratic Party as among those who have  agreed to the deliberation of the bill.

Golkar is no surprise. At local levels the party created by the late dictatorship has fallen into the hands of intolerant fanatics, like No-Shame Neneng in Bekasi, where religious minority citizens are shamelessly persecuted.

Hey, Golkar! Are You TRULY Proud of ‘No-Shame’ Neneng

Meanwhile, rather than acknowledge that it’s mere appeasement of nasty intolerants, any threadbare excuse is trotted out.

“It’s for reasons of health and safety,”said one Democrat Party leader. The DP is the party that put President SBY ( champion of worldwide censorship of ‘blasphemy’) into power.
Better then to ban the IslamoNazi thug gangs!
But no chance of that, for look who injected this latest toxic nonsense into the body politic.
Islamist National Development Party (PPP) and Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) initiated the bill in 2012…
Yes, the PPP, whose most infamous spokesman for years was Minister of Religion Suryadharma Ali, aka the Archbigot of Jakarta.
    ali heretical Ali’s archbigotry
    anis    Anis  Osama   osama_bin_satan

And the PKS? Their current leader tail-ended 9/11 by writing a sickening ode of praise for Osama Bin Laden.
If these are the parties setting the course for Indonesia, then Indonesia is heading for the rocks. The prohibition bill prescribes between three months’ and two years’ imprisonment for anyone caught consuming alcohol.

Interestingly, this monstrous scheme has been kept in the parliamentary shadows. A clap on the back to whoever whistle-blew the fanatics’ grand design, a copy of which has been obtained by The Jakarta Post.

The reassuring thing is that Indonesians, once alerted to a wrong, will not just bow down – the childish attempts by the in-crowd to emulate tiresome Western-style harassment of smokers has only partially cowed the populace.
Menaces to their modest intake of alcohol will face resistance too!
The bill apparently has some get-out passages, including one concerning tourists. No details, but while the posh hotels may well get to keep their bars..
… suppose you want to meet Indonesian friends or colleagues outside the luxury locations -say, a cold one on Jakarta’s Ancol sea-front?
I believe there is a cop-shop with holding cells in that neighbourhood….
    =====. .
This creeping shariah has already denied us the freedom to enjoy a beer at the tables outside the multitude of minimarts which Jakartans loved.
Nor can you even buy a bottle there to take home.
“The bill is aimed at ensuring public order,...” we hear that from a PDI-P man. That’s the party that put President Jokowi in the Palace, somebody we once thought liked freedom as an idea.

Public order?  Again, the best way of ensuring public order is to outlaw the sectarian thug gangs.

Sejumlah massa dari Front Pembela Islam (FPI) melakukan aksi di depan Gedung Mahkaman Konstitusi (MK), Jakarta, Rabu (27/1).

“But it should not contradict the long-held traditions of our society,” continues this PDI-P minion, Masinton Pasaribu, who has apparently forgotten this is NOT an Islamic Republic.

What next? Stoning ‘naughty’ women, as another means of ensuring public order?

In fact, as the JP points out, alcoholic drinks have deep roots in Indonesian society, from the many traditional spirits and bootleg liquor to Bintang — a beer brand globally synonymous with Indonesia, home to the world’s biggest Muslim population.

That last phrase has no place in a Pancasila state, guaranteeing fair play to all creeds, not just the one that is biased against beer..

Bintang boss Cosmas Batubara warns of the economic damage that would accompany the repressive aspects of prohibition – the business and investment climate would be severely disrupted if the bill were passed.

It would certainly create a HUGE new category of law-breakers.
And resident foreigners would be appalled – most of us don’t share the legislators’ opinion that Indonesians should be imprisoned for a harmless refreshment on a hot day.

Bill on Alcohol prohibition gets secular backing

I have been getting ready for this for the past year or three. It is a part of a creeping, now galloping, process and neither this president nor his fore-runners have done anything to slow it down.

Jakarta – Fanatics Fume at Shut-Down of Sectarian Websites!

Always a joy to catch up with the latest babbling of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) who are now accusing President Jokowi of ‘suppressing freedom of the press.’ This serious charge arises from the government’s move to close Islamic media sites spreading radicalism in Indonesia.

Having recently experienced symptoms of mild anxiety about Jokowi’s stance on various matters, this is encouraging. The President is lucky, of course, because unlike European leaders who show interest in fighting subversion, he does not have the decadent creeps on the European Court to hamper him on spurious ‘rights’ grounds.

Obviously porn is much more dangerous than these public-spirited citizens

It looks like the IslamoNazi thug gang are even missing ex-President SBY, whom the whiteshirt sectarians’ fuhrer once dismissed as a ‘banci‘ – that’s a transvestite hooker, BTW – because they nostalgically note that back in the good old days it wasn’t like this!

    • jokowi-kowi Jokowi

In SBY’s era, the Ministry blocked gambling and porn sites – in the Jokowi era, they’re blocking Islamic sites and leaving porn alone.

Jakarta Minister Can Ban A Bare Bum But Not ISIS Scum!

Of course SBY was fortunate to have a member of the fanatic PKS party at the Ministry – yes, the same party whose leader lauded Osama Bin laden in a post 9/11 ode.

SBY’s Minister gained worldwide fame when he got into bother for shaking a woman’s hand- Mrs. Obama’s.

I find porn a pointless pastime, okay for those who are without the pleasure of women’s company, maybe, but time spent studying fanatics is rarely wasted. So I suppose I spend much more time on Islamist sites.

Know your enemy, always a motto that makes sense. That’s why my own post-graduate course was in Soviet Studies.

The BNPT is the National Agency for Combatting Terrorism, and it was they who submitted the request for the shut-down.  The sites are listed – if you can find them, then they’re obviously not shut down!

Michelle, Marvel – A Rare ‘Hats Off!’ to Mrs. Obama!

Having just congratulated some judges (in Australia) it seems today is shaping up to be extraordinary at RRA HQ, because now I applaud Obama’s missus, Michelle!

For showing up in Saudi with her fine head of hair uncovered.

Apparently a lot of primitives there are upset (Reasons to be Cheerful 101) but apart from being a good thing in itself, Michelle’s move has had the spin-off benefit of causing even pinko papers, like the Sydney Morning Herald, to remind their readers of the iniquities that backward codes of law inflict on women, simply for being women!

. Genders are strictly segregated. Women are banned from driving, although there have been campaigns in recent years to lift that ban. Guardianship laws also require women to get permission from a male relative to travel, get married, enroll in higher education or undergo certain surgical procedures. http://www.smh.com.au/world/michelle-obama-forgoes-a-headscarf-and-sparks-a-backlash-in-saudi-arabia-20150128-130j5h.html

    A mediaeval midden, that place.

But I note too that the SMH mentions Indonesia.

Some users pointed out that, on a recent trip to Indonesia, Mrs Obama had worn a headscarf. Why not in Saudi Arabia?

Well, she didn’t on her most famous visit to Indonesia, when the Islamist PKS Tifatul Islamist Minister Demands Google Ban on Teen Dancers Video!  was captured on camera actually TOUCHING a woman’s hand – shock horror among fanatic freakos!

As to other visits she’s made, I don’t know what she wore – only she can answer that.

But if she wore the scarf of subjugation here in Jakarta, she’d not have resembled the majority of Muslim ladies here, who do NOT cover their lovely locks. Only in the hell-hole province of Aceh are they forced to.

    Islamist Prohibitonist Indignation? Cheers, Ahok!

I have many a time and oft praised Jakarta’s Governor Ahok, not just for what he does but for what he is.
Unlike so many of the political ‘elite’ here in Indonesia, he is NOT mealy-mouthed. As the IslamoNazi FPI s not long ago complained, ‘he calls people names!
    Good on ya, Ahok!
The sleazy creeps whom he thus calls out deserve a lot more than just name-calling!
But today applause for a more concrete step towards making Jakarta a more civilised city.
TEMPO.COJakarta – Tubagus Arif, Member of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of the Jakarta Regional House of Representatives, criticized Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama for allowing the sales of liquor. Arif said that liquor sale is against local regulation and public order.
He added local regulation forbids people from selling any kinds of liquor. Therefore, he asked Ahok to revise his policy that allows certain minimarkets to sell liquors..
On a hot day in Jakarta, it’s no bad idea to stroll into one of those minimarts and buy a cold beer to ease the stresses. I know that from personal experience!
I don’t know that much about Tubagus, but his PKS is generally seen here as the local version of the Muslim  Brotherhood.
    Remember them?
Their ( thankfully ex-) President of Egypt showed off his genealogical expertise by telling us that Jews are descended from dogs and apes…or was it pigs?
Nazi garbage – Morsi himself was the real swine.

    However, back to Indonesia.
In fact, Ahok has hardly unleashed a wave of drink-fuelled debauchery on the capital. He has attached very strict limits to his ruling  – the types of liquor available for sale should contain less than five percent of alcohol.
Moreover, the minimarkets should be located far away from school and religious places. Consumers wishing to purchase liquor must also be above 18 years old.
So it’s puzzling to normal people why the PKS should get their sectarian knickers in a twist about this.
It would be more useful if they spoke up more loudly in condemnation of their former leader Luthfi, currently doing time for his corruption crimes. Beef Scandal – Islamist Fanatic Luthfi Jailed ‘Till the Cows Come Home!’
Or they could loudly share their thoughts on their amazing apparatchik, Fathanah.

But the one man we REALLY should NEVER forget?

    anisAnis Matta
Their current leader, the infamous Anis Matta, who penned that unforgettable ode of adulation to the mass-murdering fiend Osama Bin Laden. I say unforgettable, but overseas readers may need this reminder. Bin Laden Fan Reckons ISIS Threat ‘Overblown!’
    a whiskey-glass

Normal people usually need a lot of alcohol before they talk such rot. With the PKS leader, it comes naturally.

    Cheers, Ahok!
