Yesterday, I happened to switch channels mid-morning, and finally learned the outcome of the trial – broadcast live.

Incredibly, another mob had assembled outside the court today, fans of the accused, Moch Subchi Azal Tsani, alias Mas Bechi (aged 42)

..has just been released by the BNPT’s Komjen, Boy Rafli Amar, but, regrettably, he chose not to name the ‘pondok pesantren‘ concerned..

What exactly does the MUI man mean?

If he were to call for each suspect ‘religious school’ to be named, so that decent parents could remove their offspring from undesirable influences, I’d agree and applaud.

But on the contrary!

Amirsyah wants the BNPT to make sure that…

Then, sad to say, he played the ”Islamophobia’ card.

He asked BNPT to explain to the public so as not to cause negative stigma, especially for Islamic boarding schools.
