Castrate Grooming Gangs? UK Should Learn From Indonesia!

I see one usually sensible source ( which I won’t name here, because it’s needless to quarrel with people who are mostly on the right side of big issues) Is still lauding UK Home Secretary Priti Patel…

    Priti Patel

Nor has she introduced legislation to restore either corporal or capital punishment.

    .

She used to support the death penalty, then suddenly u-turned in order to get a ministerial post under the blubbing weasel Theresa May.

Navalny’s In The News, But Keep Munir In Mind!

I have to say something before the day is over about the case of Munir, the man murdered for his fight against the evil elements in the Indonesian elite.

Like the Russian dissident, Munir was poisoned on a plane. Unlike Navalny, he died.

The Jakarta Post had an article about him today…

In light of Munir’s murder, Sept. 7 proposed as ‘national human rights defenders day’

    https://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2020/09/07/in-light-of-munirs-murder-sept-7-proposed-as-national-human-rights-defenders-day.html

….and it is impressive how his brave widow, Suciwati, is still seeking justice for her husband after all these years.

I wrote about the case years ago and append a couple of links for those interested.

Why Not, Pak Wiranto? Avenge Munir – And The Martyrs!

    Munir, Don’t forget him!

    .

No NEED To Tell Munir Murder Story? But CAN They?

The only criticism I would make of the JP piece is that they say nobody knows who killed the man in such a cowardly way.

It’s true nobody has been definitively convicted of the murder, but I think many people know very well who carried out the crime, and a lot of people have a fairly good idea of who ordered the hit.

    .

    .

Until charges are laid and a court reaches a verdict, however, we are obliged not to name names.

In September 2016, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo made a public pledge to resolve the case of Munir’s murder.

But the Indonesian authorities have yet to publish the report into the investigation, in violation of Presidential Decree No. 111/2004 on the establishment of the fact-finding team on Munir’s killing.. https://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2020/09/07/in-light-of-munirs-murder-sept-7-proposed-as-national-human-rights-defenders-day.html.
    ..

It would be pleasing if President Jokowi opened up the findings for public inspection.
Surely, it’s the least Suciwati deserves!

Beijing Virus-Villains Menace Indonesia – “Our Fishermen Feel Scared!”

Red China may not, yet, have been found guilty, in a formal sense, of crimes against humanity…

Beijing Despots Should Face A Nuremberg-Style Trial!

…as we suggested recently should happen…

    .

    .

…but Beijing’s responsibility for the corona plague is not the only reason its ruling marxist cabal deserves universal obloquy.

Here in Indonesia, there is growing concern, rightly, at the gun-boat bully-boy tactics of the Communist super-power.

While most countries in the Indo-Pacific region are battling the coronavirus pandemic, China has been active in the South China Sea, taking aggressive action against Indonesia and Vietnam...
    ASEAN Members

    .. ASEAN countries

Please take time to read the long but very readable article about how Red China’s aggressive behavior, in the midst of a crisis that is itself blamed on China, is only likely to further antagonize China’s Indo-Pacific neighbors.

The Danger of China’s Maritime Aggression Amid COVID-19

While many ASEAN countries, like The Philippines and Vietnam,  have suffered the malevolent attentions of the Beijing bandit fleet..

    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/04/philippines-backs-vietnam-china-sinks-fishing-boat-200409022328432.html

….Indonesians have a collective memory of how Mao’s local puppets, the PKI ( Communist Party of Indonesia) tried to enslave the entire archipelago in the 1960s – the Reds were put down, luckily…

….and that treason party is still outlawed here!

So any action President Jokowi authorises against the ChiComs would get overwhelming support, not only from the fisherfolk facing the villainous gun-boats…

Chinese fishing fleets with the support of armed Chinese Coast Guard ships have been encroaching into areas that Indonesia considers exclusive.

…but also from the general public!

Indonesian fishermen are perturbed that the government in Jakarta is not doing anything to protect them.

I’m sure the President hears their voices.

    .

    ..

And those of their elected representatives..,

Ngesti Yuni Suprapti, the deputy regent of the Natuna archipelago – “There was a vacant period, then China came back. Our fishermen feel scared..”

And I am sure that, although naturally pre-occupied by the fight against the Chinese Virus…

China is Lying, Coronavirus started in Wuhan

..he will be taking action against the expansionist aggression of the Red Chinese whose lies and prevarication have inflicted untimely death on so many, in Indonesia and around the world.

I would agree most Indonesians will support Jokowi if he gets tough on the Chinese, who are no better than pirates.
I was talking to a very non-political Indonesian lady today and showed her your blog. She has an awareness of the trouble in those fisheries that surprised me. She fully supports any action Jokowi might take. Every time another Indonesian dies of the virus, she says, she gets angry against China.

The problem is the military power the Chinese can use against anybody who stands up to them.
If ASEAN organised a combined ‘task force’ then that might work but they need American and other Western countries to back them up.

    ‘Nationalism’s The Basis For Advancement….’

Imagine if any European leader had spoken those glorious words above!

    =

    =

Every Sorosoid leech in the subversive NGO network would have fast begun spouting vitriol at the patriotic speaker for being ‘discriminatory,’ aka putting one’s own people first.

    =

    Gambar terkait

    ======

Ephialtes The Traitor, aka Guterres, in his UN lair, would have deplored such heresy.

    =======

    ……

Liar Juncker would have denounced the audacity of whoever committed the heinous sin called love of country.  Jean-Claude Juncker: “Nationalism is poison”

    ============

    As would Merkel’s Muppet Macron

Macron: Europe is too slow, blind to dangers of nationalism

But then you can’t imagine it, can you?

    ======

    Gambar terkait

Not one of them puts the nation first!

    =

It’s impossible to think of  Merkel or Macron or May, even for a fleeting moment, issuing such a clarion call to patriots in their countries.

Or rather they might, but everyone would know it was an exercise in dissimulation.

And as for Canada’s unspeakable Justin Turdo, he has pronounced ( proudly, to make matters worse!) the death of his own country’s national identity.

    —–

Canada’s Turdo – national pride out, ‘gay’ pride in

    =============

“There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada. There are shared values…those qualities are what make us the first postnational state.”

    https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11542/multiculturalists

    • So all credit to Indonesia’s President Jokowi, who this past weekend used those very words that constitute our headline today.

    • ==

    Jokowi

    ======

“For me, nationalism is the basis for the advancement of this nation,” said Jokowi…

    Bravo!

And nationalism should be the path for the advancement of every nation! Jokowi’s welcome words should, and will, resonate with the overwhelming majority of Indonesians, not just for young people to hear and applaud.

Yet in the Western world, such sentiments are anathema to large swathes of the population…

    =

    =

…especially among the so-called ‘millennials,’ who exhibit symptoms of a sort of degenerative spiritual disease, and exhibit them very publicly, like the repulsive creatures in that photo above.

Oh, and before anybody draws my attention to his use of the word ‘diversity,’ please note it has a somewhat different connotation here from the West.

Indonesia, for those not familiar with this vast country, is diverse, and multicultural, BUT NOT, as in many European lands, due to heedless importation of hordes of alien ingrates.

Here there have been, for many centuries, Balinese in Bali, Javanese and Sudanese on the island of Java, Bataks and others in Sumatra…

    =

    =

…and many other ethnic groups on other islands, each with their own culture and language, who usually manage to get along reasonably well.

That’s the diversity Jokowi meant, I’m sure!

Indonesia is not perfect, and there’s work to be done to stem the tide of Islamist intolerance – and, one hopes, roll it back.

But credit where credit is due.

A national leader who grasps the virtues of nationalism would gladden the hearts of millions of patriots in the Western world, where, outside the USA, they’re in sadly short supply.

Inconsistent Agitation? Woe To Jakarta Commuters!

    Here we go again.

Another Friday demo, which could just as easily have been arranged for Sunday, minimising disruption.

    =

The participants will protest against what they perceive as a revival of communism in the country.

    http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/09/28/5000-brimob-personnel-to-guard-fridays-anti-communist-rally.html

Nobody hates communism more than I do.

But apart from some burbling ‘intellectuals’ and journo-hacks who have long sought to muddy the waters of Indonesian history by refusing to distinguish between innocent people who suffered in the 1965 turmoil on the one hand…

    =

…and the evil PKI Communists on the other, there’s little sympathy with the satanic marxist creed in this country these days

Jakarta traffic is almost always a nightmare, and on Fridays it worsens.

    =

    =

Today it will be worse still!

This demo that will exacerbate commuter misery apparently will include members of conservative Muslim groups, so there’s a certain inconsistent aspect to it, because…

…they will also protest the newly-issued regulation in lieu of a law (Perppu) on mass organizations, which is being used as a legal instrument by the government to disband Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), an Islamist organization that seeks to establish a global Islamic caliphate.

The PKI has long been banned here.

    =

    =

Given its totalitarian ideology, allegiant to supranational class-war hate-think, and not to Indonesia, most Indonesians see nothing wrong with the ban on the red rats.

And following logically from that, there’s a strong case to be made for outlawing HTI, which can fairly be called califofascist…

    =

Hizbut demo – ‘Charlie Hebdo proves how rotten democracy is!

    ====

…because it’s anti-democratic and loyal to a global sectarian ideology rather than to Indonesia.

    =

    =

President Jokowi appears to be pondering an HTI ban, and that would perhaps be a first step towards prohibiting other fanatic gangs.

But my immediate concern this morning is how to do a spot of shopping before demo-caused congestion makes that an unappealing quest.

I dont know how your shopping went today but the traffic up in the north of the city, around Matraman, was no worse than usual and maybe better.

Hizbut Ban -Will Jokowi Put Canberra To Shame?

How nice to wake up and get a pleasant surprise from Indonesian politics for a change.

    =

    =

That’s my initial reaction to the news that President Jokowi’s Security Affairs Minister Wiranto told the media yesterday that Hizbut Tahrir has been promoting values that contradict Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

    Wiranto

    =

It’s hard to see how anyone aware of HTI’s ideology, which I’ve summed up as ‘caliphofascism,’ can disagree.

Not only has the fanatic group openly denounced democracy…

    =

‘Charlie Hebdo – Proof of Democracy’s Rot!’

    =

…but they are explicitly hostile to national sovereignty, their aspiration being the subjugation of all independent countries to a supranational Islamist regime, harking back to the despotic Ottoman Caliphate which was admirably scrapped by Kemal Ataturk after the First World War.

    ——-

    caliphate

    ——

If the government here keeps its word, Indonesia won’t be the only Muslim country to outlaw these fanatics. However, Wiranto had best make sure the country’s security services are on board with the plan. We have seen police actually consigning helpless children to their clutches…

    …….

Muslim School Burned by Angry Crowd –Police Enlist IslamoNazis to Counsel Kids!

ipso facto enabling indoctrination by both that gang and with other unwholesome elements here.

True, that was a local decision but did national police HQ step in, rescue those kids and fire the senior officer involved?

Hizbut Tahrir is a trans-national organisation.

Hizbut Tahrir UK – “When ‘Moderates’ Talk of Peace, They’re Lying!”

There’s been talk – only talk, thanks to weak-kneed British and Australian politicians – of banning them in both Australia and the UK.

Petition · Hizb ut-Tahrir: Call to ban group in Australia · Change.org

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is being urged to ban Islamist extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir from Australia…

‘Ex-Muslims should be free from death threats’

So, although in Jakarta there’s always a risk of ‘many a slip twixt cup and lip,’ it looks like Jokowi is showing more grit and guts in his handling of the Islamist menace.

It would be churlish not to applaud him, though let’s hope this ban won’t be the last.

    • Rightly, the  PKI (Communist Party of Indonesia) has long been prohibited from spreading its vile marxism here.

I’ve drawn the parallel before – Indonesia Retains Red Ban – So Why Not HTI Too?  – that there’s no reason why similarly toxic jihadism should not be dealt with in the same way.

Will Indonesia Settle For ‘Fake Peace?’

So President Jokowi welcomed some Muslim clerics to his palace, in order to get them ‘in line amid tension?’

Jokowi gets clerics in line amid tension

And one of them afterwards admirably told the media that- “As we live in a pluralistic country, we want real peace, not fake peace.”

But whatever that particular cleric meant meant by ‘fake peace’ -and who knows, for Pete’s sake – it’s a great pity that Lukman Hakim Saifuddin…

Lukman Slams Pesantren Fanatics – Can One Brave Man Slay The Hydra

…admitted that the clerics had not specifically discussed sectarian issues plaguing the Jakarta election, as they were focusing on maintaining harmony across the country.

It’s true that other blots on the country’s copy-book do exist, as our various reports have noted last year and this year…

Bekasi Jihadist Jerks Amok – Police Tear-Gas Hate-Gang!

Tanjung Balai’s Burning Temples – A History of Bigotry!

…but the horrifying spectacle of Jakarta’s Christian Governor, Ahok, being put on trial, in the 21st century, for the mediaeval ‘crime’ of ‘blasphemy’ is surely THE outstanding example of what’s going wrong with this lovely archipelago.

What would have been a refreshing outcome of the presidential conclave would have been a joint declaration by Jokowi and his guests that the ‘Mind-Set Revolution…’

    ..

    President Jokowi

    ..

…which he promised in his hard-fought election, two years ago, has to include an end to timidity in confronting and defeating the backward brutes we have seen marching – shuffling, actually – through Jakarta, shrill savages demanding that Ahok be ‘burned.’

“We encourage the government to process the death penalty for Ahok as soon as possible,” said Rizieq.  http://www.suara.com/news/2016/10/14/134313/

The MUI should be isolated and denied a single rupiah of state funding, until the self-styled ‘scholars’ repudiate the primitive pronouncements we have heard from them, those awful voices extolling FGM as a ‘human right,’ or demanding that ‘adulterers’ should be whipped or even stoned.

Ain’t Just Ahok – More Indonesian Dissenters Behind Bars!

What decent Indonesians, of all creeds, would surely cheer to hear is a clear, unambiguous assertion by all parties and every cleric with a commitment to a civilised democracy that it is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable to use, or incite others to use, violence, state-sponsored or not, against so-called ‘apostates’ or ‘blasphemers.’

    • Such savages are not unique to Indonesia

Naturally, there are many – both politicians and clerics – who will not join in such denunciations.

Anyone who wants to see a shariah state – whether they call it an ‘Islamic Republic’ or not – will not, cannot, be part of any ‘mind-set revolution.’

    They should be its targets.

As for those who serve the caliphate cause, who would see their country subordinated to an alien authority located in Istanbul or Mosul or anywhere – is that not grounds for the police to look into treason charges?

The fact that some Western non-Muslim nations…

…lack the guts to do so should not hinder Indonesia in using legislation to express its abhorrence of subversive sectarian ideologies.
