    Good Luck, Jose Antonio Kast!

    Never heard of him?

Well, with a bit of luck he could soon be President of Chile…

…though today’s vote is only the first round.

Nobody’s expected to get over 50% of the vote this time.

But Kast is said to favour a large moat to stop illegal immigrants…

…and, another plus point, is very much disliked by Chilean gaystapoids.

Like all decent people, he detests communists.

Prabowo Faces Jakarta Post Quadrennial Gibbering!

And off we go again, an outstanding display of double-standards by the Jakarta Post, which re-hashed its long-winded explanation from four years ago on why it is anti-Prabowo and pro-Jokowi!

We are encouraged that one candidate [Jokowi] has displayed a factual record of rejecting faith-based politics. At the same time we are horrified that the other [Prabowo] affiliates himself with hard-line Islamic groups who would tear the secular nature of the country apart…    https://www.thejakartapost.com/academia/2019/04/09/we-may-ruin-our-incredible-democratic-achievements-since-1999.html

The Jakarta Post unequivocally deplores religious thugs who forward an intolerant agenda.

    Oh yeah?

How often does it get thus HORRIFIED at involvement with such unspeakable people?

Has the JP a consistent record of being ‘HORRIFIED’ by people who collaborate with religious thugs who forward an intolerant agenda?

Regular readers here at RRA will remember the infamous Nazi-style book-burning in Jakarta, sponsored not only by the most backward Islamist fanatics…

…but by Indonesia’s largest publishing empire, Gramedia, of which, last I heard, the Jakarta Post is part.

That was a Hitlerite atrocity against free expression.

If the Jakarta Post, even so late as this election eve, now condemns its Gramedia overlords, then perhaps they may be forgiven the sin of selective indignation.

Prabowo Disavows Califascism – Now How About Vigilante Gangs?

Interesting to read that the self-styled ‘Defenders of Islam’ in the FPI apparently were on the receiving end last week.

Given the white-shirt gang’s rotten record of violence and incitement…. ..

…it’s hard to summon up any sympathy for the Islamist extremists..

    Ifpi kill busddhist

….but let’s not overlook one small part of the report in the Jakarta Post.

The scene of the clash was the FPI premises in Jogjakarta, which, we read, is the HQ in that vicinity of Prabowo’s presidential campaign team.

Oh! But is that just a local arrangement?

Their ‘grand imam,’ Habib Rizieq, whom we used to feature here a lot, prior to his decision that it was more prudent  to take up residence in Saudi Arabia…

..recently  issued a list of reasons to support  Prabowo….

Hardline Indonesian cleric Rizieq Shihab (pictured right) smiles at the camera

…who has in the past seen no shame at having a cheery photo taken with the fanatic.

Prabowo recently, admirably, disowned any intentions of collaborating with those crazies who want to impose theocratic caliphate tyranny on Indonesia.

Would it not be very welcome, and very reassuring, to everyone who cares about Indonesia’s future as a pleasant, pluralist, peaceful place to live in, if he were also now to disown the apparent support he’s receiving from Rizieq and his white-shirt gang?

And just to show I am being even-handed ( and I am genuinely neutral in this year’s election) would it not be even more welcome and reassuring if BOTH presidential candidates…

Rizieq, far-left, shares a platform with President Jokowi

So Has Indonesia Come To This? Paradise Lost?

….before Wednesday’s vote, were to make a JOINT declaration, making it clear that they want nothing to do with the FPI and/or its exiled (self-imposed exile, remember) ‘Grand Imam!’

And pledge never to legitimise Rizieq’s extremism by sharing a platform or allowing him into their presence again.

It isnt anything new but it has got worse. It seems worse since Ahok was jailed. Even he wont call himself Ahok any more.
I used to hope I would be here till my dying day. But now, who knows?

And In Costa Rica, Another Good Example!

Still looking at Latin America, after our perusal of Colombia in our previous post!

…Fabricio Alvarado Munoz is backed by 57.35 percent of the vote, while former center-left minister Carlos Alvarado Quesada has backing of 42.65 percent…

Evangelical Holds Double-Digit Lead Ahead of Costa Rica Election …

The report, offering news of a poll in Costa Rica, tells us that Fabricio is the candidate of the  National Restoration Party (PRN) and that homo-weddings were one of his key issues – he’s strongly opposed.

Hasil gambar untuk costa rica candidates alvarado

But there’s more to it than that.

The obvious solution to that issue – a proper democratic referendum – would be simple to arrange, giving Costa Ricans the opportunity denied Americans, Canadians and Brits to decide what sort of country they want to live in.

But an arrogant alien court has seized power and issued a diktat, and that’s what’s riled up the people.

    Gambar terkait

After the ‘Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ decree declared international law required governments to recognize so-called ‘gay rights…’

…Fabricio denounced the diktat as a violation of Costa Rica’s sovereignty, and he threatened to pull the country out of the court if he is elected.

This ‘Inter-American Court’ has no democratic mandate and is in fact as anti-democratic as its notorious European counterparts, the ECHR and the ECJ.

    Brexit Legal Forum? Good Idea!

Europhiliac View – Ask The People? That’s ‘Playing With Fire!’

Europhilia, like demophobia, is not a form of mental aberration unique to the UK elite.

Another shocking outburst hit the headlines last week from Vienna, where, exemplifying those who abhor the common people’s right to self-determination, a far-left Green in Austria was in extravagant rant mode.

Alexander Van der Bellen’s short-lived ‘victory’ in the June Presidential election was overturned by the country’s highest court after major irregularities were uncovered.
Now he and the FPO candidate, Norbert Hofer, are fighting a re-run in October.
Austrian far-right 'playing with fire' over EU referendum
    Alexander Van der Bellen
Maybe this Green geezer is simply ticked off with the nuisance value that voting represents to his chances of achieving his ambitions.
Because, please note, it’s not just the idea of an Austrian exit from the EUSSR that Bellen abhors, but the very idea of ASKING the Austrian electorate what they think about that idea.
    FPO’s Hofer
Herr Hofer has only mooted a referendum, saying that if Brussels rules continues to develop along current dangerously authoritarian lines, his fellow-citizens deserve to be consulted on the issue.

“…and if Turkey joins, then for me it would be time to say that Austrians must also be asked (about membership),” Hofer said after the “Brexit” vote.

Yet even this basic acknowledgement of democratic principle provoked a bout of characteristic Bellen bleating.
Even to think about escape from rule by the EuroCommissars…
     god of hellfire
…if the patriot party “are going to fantasise about an EU exit – they are playing with fire!”
So there’s the Left’s October platform, just so Austrians are under no illusions.
If voters imagine it’s their country, not the property of the rotten political establishment (who are lining up to back Bellen’s bid) then…
    Schweigen Sie, Untermenschen!
    (Silence, Subhumans!)
Not since Hitler’s 1938 Anschluss, the expansion of Nazi rule which annexed Austria to the Reich, has naked hatred for democracy had such currency in public debate.
The Fourth Reich mirrors the Third.

And just a little more insight into why this re-run, for a mostly ceremonial position, is said to be raising concern that apathy could result in a lower turnout than last time (about 73 percent).

The biased journos on EU Observer ( and I say biased since they perpetually slur Hofer as far-right but never ID Bellen as the far-left fanatic he is) don’t explain why lower turnout enhances Herr Hofer’s chances.

But they fear it could be a development that could play into the hands of the far right.

Maybe their bias arises because they see themselves among the ranks of the righteous in the apartheid-like ‘divide’ they describe.

The electorate is divided between educated elites and the working class, the city and the countryside, liberal EU idealists and nationalist EU critics.

Elites are not so much educated as indoctrinated, otherwise how could they write such pinko piffle, as if ‘idealists’ can only be found on the Europhiliac side.

But never mind. Their minions on the EUObs pay-roll staff, by their final words…

…the outcome of this election will determine whether Austria is fortified as a bastion of EU values, or becomes another domino waiting to fall.

…may have given some European readers an incentive to take a late summer break in beautiful Austria…

…and lend a hand to the FPO campaigners.

    But girls should bring pepper-spray….

BBC’s Sly Bias On USA Election…

Illegal immigrants in the US often get better care than the nation’s military veterans, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has said.  Donald Trump: Migrants treated better than US military veterans

And then, for no apparent reason, the BBC News report went on – Mr Trump – who has made controversial comments on a number of issues..
    trump The Donald
The BBC is thus implying that the Vets V Illegals assertion was controversial.
Well, suppose a vet breaks the law?
Police will bring him in and once he’s arrested and charged, he will probably end up in court,
Crimmigrants are only in the USA because they’ve broken the law. The police can check their documents anytime and bring them in.
Or is that how it really works?
No, very often, the cops cannot!
Entire cities have ORDERED their police forces NOT to detain aliens for illegal immigration offences, and NOT to alert federal agents who might see to it that the wasters are punished for their  violation of US immigration law.
That’s just one example of the way these sleazy queue-jumpers are pampered under the reign of the loose-cannon poser in the White House, who has made it very clear he’s on the side of law[breakers rather than law-enforcement.
So illegals are treated better than vets, so Trump’s comments were TRUE, hardly controversial.
Certainly, in a rough, tough election campaign, Trump has made and will make  controversial comments on a number of issues…
His foolish comments on North Carolina, that he’d allow that wretched man/woman Jenner to use the women’s restroom, sure caused controversy.
But why does the BBC single out Trump as the candidate who is note-worthy for making controversial comments...

    As if Crooked Hillary hasn’t?

Hillary Clinton Endorses Obama’s Decree on Transgender

The BBC’s bias is as glaring as a skull-and-crossbones flag on a sunny day on the 17th century Caribbean Sea.
Not a word about Clinton’s controversial comments, not least about her wealth…

…nor about her brazen U-turns ‘Will you say anything to get elected?’ …nor about her own controversial aka scary pro-crimmigrant comments.

Instead of saying in fairness that she too makes controversial comments on a number of issues, the BBC ignores her readiness to endorse the enormous and escalating sums lavished on crimmigrants and ignores her refusal to condemn the dozens, hundreds maybe, of municipal authorities that operate the subversive ‘sanctuary city’ system…

Those are deliberately designed to shield undesirable aliens from the consequences of their illegal activities.
The BBC rounds off its ideology-driven jihad against Trump ( and for illegals) by adding only that many states have written an assortment of laws and policies designed to restrict government services to people in the country illegally.
Selective journalism, a key characteristic of the dishonest media.
    • Matt Farren 02:48 on June 1, 2016 Permalink | Reply

Sometimes I think you are a little naive, Ross, although maybe it’s just your way to make the point.
What I mean is that in cases like this, you write as if the BBC sees the world the way most normal people do.
To BBC journalists, a promise to amnesty over ten million illegal immigrants is not in the least controversial. \
To point out the factual truth that illegals commit rape and murder. is controversial.
When a President orders schools to let men into women’s restrooms, and and a presidential candidate supports him, that’s not at all controversial.
When another presidential candidate says that vets deserve more help than illegals, and that they’re not getting it, that’s controversial.
In America, it’s been surveyed and proven that most journalists hold a leftist world-view, so naturally they think most Trump opinions are controversial.
Most normal Americans are not leftist, so they are delighted when Trump does what few presidential candidates have ever done and not only disagrees with the media but attacks their shibboleths in the bluntest possible way.

I personally would prefer somebody who is truly conservative, which Trump isn’t, but he delights me when he infuriates the media class. They are the most Un-American people and Americans therefore dislike them intensely. .

More Good Reasons For Austrians to VOTE HOFER!

    Silhouette weeping

The student had been on the way to a night out with her friend when she stopped off to use the public toilet but was followed in to the unlocked toilet by three teenagers, all Afghan asylum seekers aged between 16 and 17-years-old.’

    evil children

Those sweet little  ‘unaccompanied minors’ again?

An Austrian mayor has evicted asylum seekers from student accommodation after a refugee was arrested for reportedly raping a 13-year-old girl whom he met online.
I naively thought, when I read that the Greens had organised a demo, that they had woken up and were protesting about the threat to Austrian children posed by these undesirable crimmigrants.
    But no, foolish me!
The Greens were demonstrating against the Mayor, not the primitive savages who are in his city and his country uninvited!
Remember, the presidential run-off next month is between the patriot FPO party’s Hofer and an elderly Green ( running as an ‘independent’ pro-crimmigrant candidate)
    green party red
Yet the in-crowd parties are said to be mobilising support for that old extremist and against Herr Hofer.

Just as we warned, the rotten establishment – in Austria now as in France earlier this year…

‘A Fascist Green Dictator?’ D-Day for Austria!

Austria’s patriot party, the FPO, led by Hans-Christian Strache, has been surging since the crimmigrant crisis broke.

The Freedom Party came close to winning the local elections in Vienna last year, campaigning to get real on the undesirable tsunami .

    Oesterreich Wahlen

But now the FPO faces a  fresh hurdle, if Austrians go nuts and elect an authoritarian leftist in tomorrow’s presidential election.

Van der Bellen, a soft-spoken independent with Green backing, said he would refuse to swear in Strache as chancellor, prompting Hofer to call him a “fascist green dictator.”

    Hasil gambar untuk norbert hofer

FPO’s Hofer -Your Homeland Needs You Now!

What a slap in the face for constitutional principle. If a party wins a parliamentary election, of course its leader should be given the top job.

Norbert Hofer is the candidate from Strache’s party, and he too is riding high in the polls, just a point or two behind the anti-democratic Greenster.

Austria – Infested Italy Could Push Herr Hofer To Victory

You’d think there’d be an outcry from the left-lib media or the Council of Europe, which waxes loud and shrill about perceived but illusory ‘threats’ to fair play in Poland.

Deutsche Welle – Merkel’s Media Lap-Dog Snarls At Poland!

Bellen – no nonsense about democratic principle from this Green gargoyle

    But I’ve heard nothing.

Certainly not from Deutsche Welle, which, next door to Austria, might have been thought to express at least concern, if not alarm, at the rise of Van der Bellen-style extremism. Instead, we get a weird report about how Austria’s ‘press freedom’ is endangered.  http://www.thelocal.at/20160420/press-freedom-under-more-threat-in-austria

Because journos demanding entry into a crimmigrant holding centre at Transkirchen had to apply several times before gaining access!

Their purpose of course was to collect and transmit whines on behalf of and about aliens who shouldn’t be in Austria anyway!

    Double-standards in there somewhere.

Austria – Infested Italy Could Push Herr Hofer To Victory

As Austrians face the chilling reality that their southern neighbour, Italy, under the pro-crimmigrant Renzi regime, is being overwhelmed by undesirable aliens (‘not an invasion,’ squealed Renzi, as the current infestation was topped up with 6000 more illegals in a matter of a few days this week!)  one spin-off benefit from this disagreeable situation could be victory in Vienna for a sound patriot.

FPO’s Hofer -Your Homeland Needs You Now!

    • Wih only days to go before Austria elects a new president, Norbert Hofer, of the Freedom Party (FPO) is said to be running neck and neck with an elderly Green. What’s significant is that the two ‘main’ parties, the so-called ‘conservative OVP and the leftist SPO are way behind both these outsiders..

If nobody gets a majority in the first round on 24th April, the FPO could be in with a grand chance in the May run-off.

Another reason to get up early here in Jakarta to see if voters back West are waking up!
