Melbourne Cops? Better Call ‘Em Storm-Troops!

Much anguish about the anti-lockdown demo in Sydney, and those poor horses.

But in another Australian city, Melbourne, it’s press freedom that deserves our concern, with thugs in uniform…

    Victoria Police - Wikipedia

‘Uphold The Right?’  More like ‘Silence The Opposition!’

    =

    ….aka the Victoria Police.

Their goon-squad officers deliberately targetted a journalist from Rebel News, whose reporting is disliked by the Socialist State authorities.

If it were just hearsay, I’d be less vexed, but there’s video evidence to back up the report.

    Decide for yourselves.

    ==============

    “Grab this fella!”

That’s what the commanding officer of the Victoria Police shouted at his shock troops. And nine of them did grab him.

And throw him to the ground.

    And punch him.

    And knee him.

And put handcuffs on him so tightly that an hour later, his wrists were still bright red.

Click here to see for yourself. Viewer discretion is advised.

That “fella” that they grabbed is Daniel, my bodyguard. I don’t talk much about him, but he’s always there with me, watching my back when I work in case Antifa or someone else tries to attack me.

But what if the violent attack doesn’t come from criminals — what if it comes from out-of-control police?

Daniel is a licensed, insured, professional bodyguard who knows that the best way to win a fight is to never get in one.

He keeps me out of trouble. 99% of the time, viewers never even know he’s there. In fact, all the TV crews covering yesterday’s major protests in Melbourne had bodyguards with them.

But the police only attacked mine.

As you can see in the video, I was walking away from police, and Daniel was behind me, following me, walking away from police, too. He wasn’t a protester; he was my quiet shadow.

The cops knew that. Which is precisely why they attacked him, slammed him to the floor, beat him up and took him to the police station — releasing him with the threat of a $1,817 fine.

The police knew exactly who I was and exactly who Daniel was. When they grabbed Daniel, I objected firmly but politely — so they started to threaten me, too.

I immediately called our lawyer, Madeleine Smith, to ask for legal advice. I tried to get police to talk to her, but they refused. When I asked police where they were taking Daniel, Inspector Jamie Templeton suggested I’d be arrested, too. You can hear him telling the other cops,

“Avi is starting to become a bit more problematic. So we might need to look at what Avil’s role is here in the moment.”

Really? My role is that of a reporter, covering the news — just like a dozen other reporters there that day, covering the news, each with their bodyguards, too.

The fact that Inspector Templeton knew my name shows he knew exactly who Daniel was. And his brazen suggestion that if I dared to keep asking about their misconduct, I’d be next, shows that he’s actually the lawless one.

As you can see at the end of the video, Daniel isn’t deterred — and neither am I. We’ll continue to honestly and independently cover the news in Australia, no matter what Dan Andrews’ bullies say.

And there’s simply no way we’re going to let Daniel pay that $1,817 ticket by himself. But we’re not going to pay it for him, either. We’re going to fight it for him — all the way to the High Court if necessary.

If you are appalled by the misconduct of the Victoria Police, and the transparent targeting of my crew and me, please join with me at http://www.FightTheFines.com.au to help us cover the legal costs of fighting Daniel’s fine.

They’ve tried to hassle me, threaten me, tire me out and scare me, but it hasn’t worked so far. So now they’re targeting my team.

    No way.

I’m going to fight for Daniel as hard as I fight for myself. If you can help me, please click here, and chip in a few dollars to help cover the costs of our excellent lawyers.

    Yours gratefully,

    Avi Yemini
    Chief Australia Correspondent

P.S. There were literally nine cops that jumped on Daniel. He didn’t resist, but they punched and kneed him anyways. It was their way of showing me who’s boss.

P.P.S. The proper way to resists isn’t by physical force. The proper way to fight back is in the court of law, by showing a judge what these brutal cops did, and demanding justice. Please click here, or go to http://www.FightTheFines.com.au if you want to help us do just that. (Thanks.)

There’s two sides to wvery story and quite right you let this be heard.
Victoria cops have a bad reputation and when they know the state government wants this journalist shut down, they must think they have a license for violence.
All these thugs should be fired but most of all the dick in charge named in the story.

Victoria’s Stasi-Cops? In The Service Of A Police State?

We know that the State of Victoria in Australia is run by some of the worst, most intolerant leftists in the land.

    =

Jaclyn ‘Jackboot’ Symes – Most Totalitarian Vixen In Oz?

So when I received this email, I wasn’t as surprised as Avi Yemini was, when he was given cause to send it to many thousands of people around the world.

    oooooooo

I received a surprise visit last night.

Three Victoria Police officers arrived at my door to deliver a letter from the Victoria Police commissioner, threatening me not to show up at today’s lockdown protest in Melbourne.

The police also let it slip that they would be delivering more letters to others.

Will reporters from Channel 7, Channel 9, or Channel 10 get the same treatment? Not a chance.

WATCH and SHARE what happened here:

Police deliver warning letter to Avi Yemini's home ahead of protest coverage

I will not be intimidated. I will not cower. And I will not back down.

I will be at today’s protest, and I will continue to expose Victoria’s police state whether they like it or not.

Who else is going to report on their intimidation tactics and expose these thugs to the world?

This is precisely why I’m suing the Victoria Police. If you want to support my lawsuit and help me cover my legal fees, visit StandWithAvi.com.

Watch this space — I’ll have more to report from today’s protest in the days ahead.

    Montreal’s Finest – Jackboot Cop-Thugs Amok Again!

Needless to say, there was not a word on ‘BBC World News’ about the jackboot goons –

    aka Montreal Police!

    – who went in mob-handed to attack press freedom this week.

As to what happened, I let this extract from Rebel News speak for itself…

...when we refused to let them rifle through our reporters’ rooms without a search warrant, they declared us a crime scene, and wouldn’t let us enter or leave the houseboat. For the next ten hours police tried to find a judge who would give them permission to raid our rooms and search our belongings.

Thankfully, no judge would allow it.

But the police used every minute of those ten hours to brutalize us, including physically assaulting our team — including young women.

See for yourself. Warning: I get very, very angry here.

The most outrageous moment was when police arrested our great reporter David Menzies, and took him to a filthy jail cell. The police commander told us that he’d let David go right away if we just let him search our rooms without a warrant.

Sorry, isn’t that like demanding a ransom?

After ten hours, police realized no judge would give them their illegal warrant. And we didn’t cave in. So without apologizing, the police just left. And set David free.

Police told a left-wing Montreal newspaper that they plan to send us massive fines in the mail.

Obviously we’ll fight those in court, and we’ll fight the trumped-up criminal charges against David, too.

But it’s not enough to play defence.

We have to sue Montreal’s corrupt police. For months they’ve been harassing our journalists — arresting them, handcuffing them and using racist epithets, too. It’s simply got to stop, and it sounds like they won’t stop until a court tells them to stop…

And please note the PS from Rebel News’ Ezra Levant!

P.S. The most disappointing thing about the whole day wasn’t watching Montreal’s corrupt cops violate the law.

The most disappointing thing was watching the Media Party — from CTV to Global to La Presse — cheer on the police brutality. They hate us more than they love freedom.

    .

    =

Ezra should add BBC to that list of rotten media.

Canadian media are notoriously, even viciously, left-liberal, but they must have learned a lot of their lousy style from UK Pravda.

    .

…but once you have read that, ask why BBC is complicit by its silence.

    Quebec Klutz-Cops Grab ‘Jew-Media’ Journos!

This was just passed along to me from Rebel Media and tells you all you need to know…

….about press freedom – or lack of it – in today’s Canada.

…50 heavily armed police just raided the hotel where our Rebel News reporters were staying in Montreal.

I told them they couldn’t come in without a search warrant. So instead they manhandled me. They handcuffed Keean Bexte. And They just put David Menzies in the back of a police car.

Police have sealed off the AirBnb we were staying in with police tape — they say it’s a “crime scene”.

    ===

    my inserted illustration

    ====

Of course it’s not. In fact, when we asked them what the “crime” was, all they could come up with was that our staying in the hotel was an illegal “gathering,” contrary to Quebec’s lockdown laws.

That’s obviously not true. It is a registered, legal hotel rental on Airbnb. In fact, we had fewer guests than the facility is built for.

This is the same Montreal police who have harassed and assaulted our reporters for weeks. This is their revenge. Because we report on their misconduct.

I’m very upset by this. And I remember that, several times, Montreal police have pulled our reporters over and called us “Jew Media” or asked if we’re “Jews.”

    ….

    my inserted illustration

    ……

I can’t help but think that’s a bizarre anti-semitic motivation. That sure isn’t professional policing.

David is still in the back of the police car. Our lawyer is on the scene. I’m mad as hell.

I need your help. Please go to http://www.LockdownReports.com and help us. We have to defend David. And we have to sue the police. Enough is enough. I’m sick of them assaulting our people.

What about what this very week we heard in Britain, a massive threat against media freedom in the UK, issued by the doyenne of the leftist media there, in the wake of the nutjob duchess/actress’s outburst!

BBC Cover Up BLM Hoodlums Attack On Journo.

After our thoughts on the situation in Australia, as published earlier today…

I thought it would be interesting to see if the BBC even mentioned the racist gangsta group who erupted into violence against a young lady journalist.

Emulating their Red Nazi Antifa comrades…

    =

    =

…the filthy BLM savages showed their true colours ( yellow, not black!) when they went after the defenceless Tara Anne Szczepanski mob-handed.

Tara Anne, who, as a Polish-Filipino American could, I suppose, claim to be what woko-nits call a ‘person of colour,’ can be seen in the video included in the New York Post link, under attack by cowardly brutes screaming –

    She supports Trump!’

    ==============

    caught-on-video scuffle

Fortunately, not all so-called mainstream media showed UK Pravda aka BBC’s crass  indifference to the attack on press freedom!

The NY Post had that report from which we learn that two of the gang arrested were not kept behind bars but turned loose pending trial!

Saqunn Jackson, 23, of University Heights, was arrested late Tuesday afternoon and charged with aggravated harassment and stalking. Jackson was released under supervision, court documents show.

Juarde Benn, 20, of Flatbush, was busted Friday in connection to the attack and charged with attempted assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and stalking, according to police. He was released on his own recognizance. https://nypost.com/2021/02/10/two-busted-for-dirty-diaper-attack-on-conservative-reporter/

RT too has given the incident fair coverage.

    https://www.rt.com/usa/515581-blm-diaper-attack-journalist-szczepanski/

But although I searched diligently on the BBC’s own website for even a hint of interest in BLM’s hatred of honest reporting, I could find nothing….

    0

…which may be what they think of violence when perpetrated by their ideological allies.

The Double Standards of The Australian Media!

Usually I just let this brave Avi guy speak for himself, but this morning, I feel obliged to emphasise how hypocritical much of the Oz media can be.

Outrage, over the detention by dumbo Oz goon-cops, aka Victoria State police, of a Herald-Sun journaless, and fair enough.

Victoria is getting to be something of a police state…

    Another Oz Goon-Cop Update!  .

BUT WHERE was the outrage over Avi Yemini’s detention by similar uniformed thugs last month?

    —————————————-

He had indeed ‘warned the mainstream media about this months ago. Of course, they didn’t listen.

This past weekend they found out that being part of the media elite is no longer enough to protect them from the unlawful arrests faced by scores of peaceful protesters and independent journalists like me.

On Sunday, massive protests against mandatory vaccines broke out in every capital city in Australia. Every single one of those protests was peaceful except for one: Melbourne.

Melbourne police pepper-sprayed, kettled, and violently arrested protesters.

And in the melee, police arrested and frog-marched Herald Sun journalist Olivia Jenkins and a photographer (welcome to the party).

WATCH and SHARE the shocking footage of Melbourne police violently breaking up the protest.

This is why the media should STOP ignoring what happened to Avi Yemini

Oz Cops Colluding With Un-Australian Reds?

    ==

Olivia and her photographer are out now, and the police have apologised for their conduct.

It was quite the response, not just from the police but members of the media as well, who were shocked that any of them could possibly be arrested for simply doing their job. I don’t remember such an outpouring of support after my arrests for doing the same thing.

That’s why we’re fighting hard to end these lockdowns and defend our right to free expression.

If you want to join my fight to ensure this never happens again, please visit StandWithAvi.com.

Aussies! How About Melbourne’s Keystone Klutz-Cops?

I am passing this directly on, because Australians can judge for themselves how to react.

    =

    =

Two weeks ago, I was reporting the news from a peaceful protest in Melbourne, Australia, the most locked-down city in the world.

I had all of my permits and papers in order and I had even been inspected and approved by a roadside police checkpoint.

(That’s how crazy the Australian state of Victoria is these days — lockdowns, curfews and police checkpoints.)

I was reporting on an anti-lockdown protest by Australian citizens fed up with China-style infringements on their civil liberties. I wasn’t there to protest — I was there to report, with my camera crew. We were standing with other journalists and I was clearly holding my Rebel News microphone.

Suddenly, a police commander walked up to me, jabbed me in the chest, and ordered his troops to arrest me. You’ve probably seen the video — I was picked up, smashed to the ground and arrested, and led away in handcuffs.

    For no reason whatsoever.

I was later grudgingly released by police without charges. But incredibly, late that same night, police came to my family home to threaten me — to tell me I had been put on a “list”, and that police were watching me.

This really is like China, isn’t it?

Well, I’m fighting back. Not just for my own rights and safety, but for that of all Australians.

I’ve taken the Australian state of Victoria to the Supreme Court — the highest court in the state. In a 9-page Statement of Claim, my civil liberties lawyers outline the illegal misconduct of the police.

Click here for a short video explaining the lawsuit:

I’ve taken the Australian state of Victoria to the Supreme Court
— the highest court in the state.

You can see the entire lawsuit for yourself by clicking here.

I’ve spent $11,000 on lawyers so far, and that’s just the beginning. By suing the state of Victoria, I’ve kicked a hornet’s nest. Premier Dan Andrews has been governing like a little tyrant, and if anything he’ll probably try to smash me even harder now. As you can see in the lawsuit, it’s not the first time his police have come for me.

That’s why this lawsuit is so important. If other Australians follow my lead, and maybe even other people around the world, and stand up for our freedoms, these brutal lock-downs will have to stop.

But I need your help. This lawsuit will likely cost $50,000 or even more. The government has unlimited resources and top lawyers at their disposal. It really is a David vs. Goliath battle.

But I’m up for it. If you give me the tools, I’ll finish the job — and fight for freedom for all of us.

Can you please chip in? Whether it’s $5 or $500, I sure need the help.

You can donate securely online here and 100% of the funds will go to our legal battle.

    Thank you.

P.S. Australian police are out of control — did you see the video of them bursting into a pregnant woman’s home and arresting her for the “crime” of making a Facebook post against the lockdown? It’s time someone fought back in the court of law!

P.P.S. I promise to give you regular updates on this lawsuit. Hopefully that will inspire other Australians — and other free people around the world — to stand up for our rights! Click here to read the lawsuit for yourself. What do you think of it?

No Baton Charge? Herts Cops Need Chief With Cojones!

A while ago, we had to give serious consideration to the calibre of Hertfordshire’s Chief Constable, Charles Hall, when the man in charge of law and order there…

Petition HM! Remove Hertfordshire Cur Cop’s Medal!

    Chief Constable Charlie Hall (1)

Get Hall Of Hertfordshire Fired! Contact This Police Commissioner!

…crawled on his belly to the far-left BLM mob, instructing his officers that ‘although the gesture is “optional,” those who refuse to bend the knee “may become the focus of the protesters attention.”

At the same time, kneeling “has a very positive and engaging effect,” and draws “a positive reaction on the protest groups.”

Appalling behaviour, on the part of a top cop, to suggest that law enforcement should somehow NOT be ‘the focus of the protestors attention,’ when of course the whole point of pro-active policing in a free society…

    .

…should be to make sure subversive trouble-makers are very much focused on the cops’ readiness to maintain law and order, no grubbing about for any ‘positive reaction’ – no kow-tow kneeling tom-foolery.

Now we learn that during the scandalous X-Stinko assault on press freedom last week…

X-Stinko Revulsion. Green Nazis Make War On Press Freedom!

…Hall appears to have exhibited the same kind of flaccid response to that Green Nazi rabble!

More than 100 protesters used vehicles and bamboo structures to block roads outside Newsprinters works at Broxbourne….

….Hertfordshire police said delivery lorries had not left the Broxbourne site as of 6am on Saturday, and that 42 arrests had been made. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/sep/06/extinction-rebellion-organised-crime-group-ridiculous-uk

Why the HELL were a mere hundred far-left fanatics…

One XR statement said the action was about racism, as well “immigration policy, the rights and treatment of minority groups and dozens of other issues”. Daily Telegraph

…and they were, and are, far-left fanatics, able to blockade a public highway?

Bulldozers should have been brought in to crush the obstructions off the road!

Herts Police water-cannon should have been deployed – or borrowed from other constabularies if Hertfordshire has none of its own.

I don’t have access to data on whatever constitutes the equipment armoury of Herts cops, but it’s safe to say they have batons.

Why did the HELL did HALL not give the order to clear the road at once, or send in as many bobbies with batons as it took…

    ..l

    Maggie had the right idea!

    ..

…to teach those swine that British freedoms will not be surrendered to mob-rule without a fight?

One show of force to break the bullies ought to be enough to quell the Stinko Rebellion!
