GIANT WARNING: any instances of othering that you participate in intentionally (racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, sorophobia, transphobia, classism, mocking of mental health issues, body shaming, etc) in class are grounds for dismissal from the classroom.

.The same goes for any papers/projects: you cannot choose any topic that takes at its base that one side doesn’t deserve the same basic human rights as you do (ie: no arguments against gay marriage, abortion, Black Lives Matter, etc).
I take this seriously.
The nasty nazi-like numbskull goes on to initimate her very low opinion of the young people she sees as so mentally malleable.
There may, she warned, be material not consonant with her own bigot brainwash intentions.

think the Professor had the right to do so- change classes- It is their class, it was stated and not “hidden” or taken out on grade, etc. and it PROMOTES “real” critical thinking too not do what “most” do that don’t want to put time into their products- & utilize the top topics on news, twitter, etc and chose a side and write. These topics are all HIGHLY public, may infringe on classmates if orally shared and critiqued by classmates for discussion, etc.
I think that being a “whistle-blower” and HIDING and “telling your YAF instead of confronting professor among class and questioning it a real cop-out- like telling mom instead of being a young adult and discussing . Shame on the University for following “peer pressure of media-
