    A Warning To Australians – Triumphalism V Freedom!

    Good to see John Howard is alert to the threat!

    John Howard accuses government of “washing its hands of any responsibility” to protect religious freedom…

    John Howard

    ….. if Yes vote wins… .Howard savages PM over SSM vote

    000000000

    We had already had to laugh – no, grimace – when Malcolm Turnbull proclaimed his certainty that homo weddings would not change Australia.

    He cited other countries which have taken the decadence route,

    Hasil gambar untuk malcolm turnbull yes

    “Now, in any one of those nations has the sky fallen in?

    ========

    Apart from divorcing the countries concerned from the  civilised values on which Western society stood for for centuries, I suppose that might be a persuasive line – the sun always rises..etc..

    =

    =

    UNTIL you recall how the vicious gaystapo inquisition in America has not lost impetus since the Supreme Court’s irrational ruling.

    Far from it!

    ======

    ========

    The persecution of Christians proceeds with ever more spite and venom, and a bulletin from FRC tells us about one particular case that shines a bright light on how mean-spirited and intolerant triumphalist queers can be.

    Unlike Turnbull, President Trump – whose own views on that ruling are admittedly somewhat opaque – cares enough about religious liberty that he’s seen fit to send his Justice Department into battle, so appalling are the circumstances.

    It’s all about a baker, named Jack Phillips, who had the temerity to turn down a wedding cake order for a ceremony that contradicts his faith.

    The comments in the bulletin are worth quoting.

    “The government may not compel an unwilling speaker to join a group or event at odds with his religious or moral beliefs,” Attorney General Jeff Session’s team argued. “Otherwise, a graphic designer whose clients include ‘a Jewish affinity group’ could also be forced to make fliers ‘for a neo-Nazi group….'”

    An apt analogy, when one compares the way how one act of appeasement after another failed to placate the Nazis in the 1930s.

    Thing is, the baker treated his customers with unimpeachable civility.

    Jack offered to sell the men anything in his store.

    http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=WA17I11&f=WU17I04

    But does anyone imagine that gaystapo witch-hunters would be content with a courteous and helpful response, any more than Hitler was content with any of the concessions made to his aggressions.

    =

    Not those nasties, who were determined to coerce everyone to exalt their aberrant aspirations.

    Although the area was full of bakeries they could have gone to, they commenced what their intolerant sort do best – whining for vengeance against the Christian!,

    they wanted to force Jack to use his creative talents to celebrate a message that violates his beliefs.

     Of course this case is far from unique. We have covered plenty.

    Crucified by ACLU Gaystapo, Christian Gran Faces Easter Hell!

    Spittle-Specked Spite of America’s Gaystapo!

    The FRC bulletin provides more info.

    =====

    Already, bakers, florists, website designers, and dressmakers have been sued, fined, and harassed for trying to live as openly about their faith as the Left has about its sexuality.

    As we’ve said from the beginning, tolerance is for everyone — or else it isn’t tolerance at all. Taking a wrecking ball to a young couple’s business  or threatening a grandmother’s home isn’t a down payment on “equality;” it’s a death warrant for freedom.

    There is discrimination in this case — but not against people who identify as LGBT. It’s against Jack Phillips and the millions of others who share his views about marriage.

    ========

    Please note, many examples of gaystapo anti-Christian activity occurred BEFORE the high court ruling, but despite the queers getting all they wanted from a narrow majority of wayward judges, the hate campaigns continue.

    Australians have no reason to expect they will not experience the same bitter queer bigotry if they give in and vote Yes.

    ====

    Hasil gambar untuk just say no

    BTW…

    Another pro-decency organisation has organised a petition, and I append it below,

    In a decision with potentially huge ramifications for religious liberty, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has directed the Department of Justice to side with a Christian baker in a case that will soon be heard by the Supreme Court.

    Sign the petition to tell Attorney General Sessions “thank you” for supporting religious liberty.

      What these queers are doing in America is dire news for Australians.
      We have seen the hate they have for Christians already, and what we should be doing is not giving in to them but rolling things back, get rid of ‘gay’ adoption for a start.
      There is a real danger for any children they get hold of.

    ASEAN And ‘Rights’ – Empty Vessels Best Not Make Noise!

    “In the end we remember, not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”

    http://www.thejakartapost.com/academia/2017/09/12/asean-rights-body-absent-in-massacre-of-rohingya.html

    The article is all about Myanmar, or at least the role of ASEAN, whose Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) was established in 2009, as part of ASEAN’s effort to respect human rights…

    ……

    • Indah P. Amaritasari
      =======

    Indah Amaritasari, the attractive academic who writes in the Jakarta Post, is concerned about the seeming inability of this outfit to do much, or anything, about the current situation with the Rohingya, but really, what else can one expect?

    If ASEAN were serious about ‘human rights,’ it would never have accepted Vietnam or Laos as members.

    =====

    The peoples of those two countries have not had the basic human right to choose the governments which rule over them for over forty years.

    Talking of human, or any rights, in Communist dictatorships, is akin, in its oxymoronic connotations, to talking about dry water.

    It doesn’t make sense.

    So why expect ASEAN now to have any significant impact in Myanmar?

    Not to mention the shortcomings on rights in other ASEAN members…

    Theresa’s Lesbian Warns Churches – Bow To Gaystapo Diktats!

    This notorious lesbian has issued a clear warning to British Christians.

    ===

    Hasil gambar untuk justine greening husband

    =

    Abandon your values and bow down to the gaystapo’s PC diktats!

    That’s the message, and it’s not from some nutjob Trot in an Islington gentrified squat!

    Elevated to high office by Cast-Iron Cameron and maintained therein by Turncoat Theresa, Justine Greening holds no less than TWO jobs,  Education Secretary and Equalities Minister…

    ======

    …a dangerous combination for a woman with pretensions to the role of theological arbiter.

    Greening’s only virtue, arguably, is that she’s a walking, talking example of how being homosexual is not innate…

    From NYC – Proof Positive, ‘Gays’ Can Be Cured!

    …a distinction she shares with the wife of the Mayor of New York, BTW.

    Greening had an apparently normal relationship with a male Tory, before she owned up to her new-found lesbian preference.

    An ideal candidate for curative therapy, but helping these sad ‘gays’ is becoming a prohibited treatment –

    Malta bans ‘gay cure’ conversion therapy – BBC News

    –  thanks to militant homos who fear they’ll lose recruits if help is avaiable to unhappy maladjusts.

    But there’s no virtue whatsoever in her rant against Christianity, viz. that she did not want to “prescribe” how faith groups deal with the issue, but that “it is important that the church in a way keeps up and is part of a modern country”.

    Churches should ’embrace gay marriage‘, says equalities minister

    Fortunately, some people in the UK remain unintimidated by the gaystapo, people like Melanie McDonagh, who recognised the evil that stalks the realm, asserting that it was only a “short step” from the minister’s assertion to “enabling the church to conduct those marriages and then obliging them to do so.”

    “It’s the authoritarian aspect of modern liberalism, outside the church and in it.” McDonagh said Greening should not interfere at all with churches’ decisions on same-sex marriage.

    =

    =

    As I have observed before, liberalism is a cancer to which democracy is the only possible cure.

    Just as there is no democratic mandate for the vile nonsense being pushed by her demented Tory colleague, that we all must lie and say that a man is a woman if some deranged tranny insists he’s not what he is…

    …equally Christians should be free to follow Christian teachings without being subjected to the rants of a middle-aged scold.

    • Jenny 3:52 pm on August 19, 2017 Permalink | Reply

      Theresa May is every bit as bad as Cameron. What this lesbian is doing is not in the least conservative and her ‘gay’-friendly plan is to put back the clock to Bloody Mary and religious persecution.

      No burning at the stake in our modern world, just get people fired, or fined or locked up because they think perversion is wrong and act on their beliefs.
      That is not a prediction, it’s already happened, more than a few times, and street preachers bullied off by the police.
      Inquisition all over again.

    Shariah Menace In Malaysia – But Freedom Fights On!

    As July ends, time for a brief look at poor Malaysia, if only because we have not examined the situation there for quite some while!

    Yet another on civil liberties by Islamist bigots, the notorious PAS party’s leader tabling  proposed law changes for harsher Shariah punishments…

    —–

    Hadi’s private member’s Bill, which is raised in the form of a parliamentary motion, is listed as item number 10. — Picture by Yusof Mat Isa

    —–

    Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang-  hereinafter referred to as Hadi – is eager to drag his country deeper into darkness.

    And by God, it’s already mired in intolerance, as we’ve noted often before…

    ooooooooo

    Now there’s Hadi’s call to ‘increase the Shariah courts’ maximum sentencing limits to 30 years’ jail, RM100,000 fine and 100 strokes of the cane.’

    Nothing wrong with tough punishments, but when you contemplate what constitutes ‘offences’ under shariah ‘law,’ you realise the magnitude of the iniquity Hadi proposes.

    Holding hands with your girl-friend. Drinking a bottle of beer on a hot afternoon. Playing cards for a few cents.

    …that’s as mean-spirited as it gets, but up to them.

    ==

    However, how dare they claim the right to punish ‘miscreants’ as if their sectarian dogmas have the force of law?

    The report leaves open the question of whether this ghastly motion will in fact reach a vote, due to a crowded legislative time-table

    But it’s a timely reminder of how Malaysia, could end up in as benighted a situation as the Indonesian Province of Aceh, just across the straits, where primitive shariah law prevails…

    =

    =

    …with cowardly masked brutes publicly flogging defenceless young women before  moronic rabbles of salivating savages.

    =============

    =

    However, on the bright side, there have been genuinely positive amendments proposed, not, of course, by Hadi, aiming to defend helpless kids from being coerced by an apostate parent.

    ———

    The amendment would stop a Muslim convert from unilaterally converting children from a non-Muslim marriage to Islam.

    http://www.themalaymailonline.com/malaysia/article/shariah-bill-proposed-unilateral-conversion-ban-back-in-parliament

    So the forces of good are not giving in to the shariah fanatics.

    Get Your Tickets Soon – Jakarta Shariah Tourism Boom?

    We did report on Sandiago Uno’s astounding promise prior to the Jakarta election – as a  result of which he’s now Deputy Governor – that he envisioned a sharia-inspired nightlife entertainment network in Jakarta.

    But we merely noted it, in a post which covered all the issues that were alarming normal people.

    The Ugly Face of Islamist Intolerance!

    Not that Sandiago Uno himself is in any way unprepossessing. On the contrary, he comes across as very presentable and personable!

    =====Gambar terkait

    But now this rich, American-educated ( yes, truly!) entrepreneur has shown he’s a man of his word.

    Sandiaga Uno to establish sharia tourism zone in Jakarta

    http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/06/28/sandiaga-uno-to-establish-sharia-tourism-zone-in-jakarta.html

    Note, no question mark! This guy is serious about his plan, for the Senen area of  the capital.

     “I think it will be interesting if there is a religious tourism zone [in the area], which is properly arranged with tents. Hence, mobility can be ensured.”

    I welcome that last sentence. Mobility – the ability to get through Senen as fast as possible – would need to be an integral part of any such scheme, as many of us encounter horrendous traffic jams there.

    ……..

    …..

    I sat on a  bus a month ago for nearly an hour, just waiting to get through the underpass beside the big shopping area.

    But what delights would await folks who flitted in and out of Sandiago’s tents?

    Many places popular with tourists who come to Jakarta feature what are invariably described as ‘sexy dancers.’

    =

    =

    Not just ‘dancers,’ NB, which has always made me smile, wondering if the proprietors fear that patrons would not recognise the dancers’ sexiness without being told of it!

    —-

    However, I somehow doubt that the tents would accommodate any spectacle of that sort.

    Sandiago previously talked of such joys as Koranic readings, but would that really draw shariah-fans to Jakarta when they can easily find THE REAL THING…

    =

    =

    …by taking a short flight up to Indonesia’s most northerly province, ACEH, proudly dubbed by some of its inhabitants as the ‘Verandah of Mecca,’ the ONLY province in the archipelago where shariah is enshrined in the local legal code of law.

    No tedious tents required there, because the quintessence of shariah morality is displayed in the main squares…

    …..

    ….

    …….

    ….young women being beaten by cowards too ashamed to show their faces, before a salivating rabble of voyeurs and fanatics.

    Nor are dancers, either sexy or otherwise, a popular phenomenon up there, where such repositories of wisdom as this kindly old gent have made plain their demerits…

      Sandiago must make up his mind.
      Aceh shows how shariah is cruel,for all but most specially for women.
      I wish Ahok was still our governor. He made mistakes but he is not in prison for that. Only for free speech.that we no longer have and soon we women will have no freedom if shariah comes. .

      Congratulations, Ross.
      You said everything I wanted to say when I read this but you said it better than I could, all those quotes and humorous angles that make fun of the whole thing.
      A lot of Arab tourists come here but not to go to shariah shows. You must have seen them, chasing the working girls in the hotel bars.

      I never go to Senen market for many years because there is too much pickpocking there. I do not want to loose my money or bag.
      Now I think even more it is good idea not to go shopping there with too many FPI who think woman is less than man.
      Better I will go to the Atrium mall near it but better still to nice place like you like at Citralan , It is safer there.
      I think only fanatic same like FPI will use the place Sandiago is making so it is no good plan.

    • JazPen 3:16 pm on June 29, 2017 Permalink | Reply

      I wont be going to Senen but I never do anyway. Cnce was enough, hot and crowded and prices that rose soon as they saw I was foreign.
      Shariah tourism is a joke, who would come here for that ? If they like watching women getting hurt for holding hands with their boyfriends they can go to Aceh as you say or some other terrible place, Iran or Saudi Arabia
      More reasons to be cheerless but thats what Shariah is all about.

    • Rawel 6:49 pm on June 29, 2017 Permalink | Reply

      Happy when I read this. Indonesia is not Arab and no need for shariah.
      Thank you.

      Goodevening, Ross, such a long time I do not comment but often I read an think you are doing good work for Indonesia and so tonight I say to myself, do not be lazy to comment.
      This is all true and these FPI and the other fanatics are taking over. We lowly people have no way to stop them so we believed Jokowi will do it.
      But sad to say it, we are mistaken.
      Who will save our country?

    President Wins ‘Praise’ For Sitting Down With Fanatics?

    Did everyone in Indonesia ‘praise’ President Jokowi for meeting the most intolerant Islamists in the archipelago?

    I doubt it, but the sycophantic headline in the Jakarta Post…

    Jokowi praised for meeting with opposition Muslim organization during Idul Fitri

    …might lead readers to think so.

    In fact, what appeared under that headline included only one voice of ‘praise,’ and that was from his very own fan-club, the ‘President’s Volunteer Forum (Bara JP)’

    ……..

    Gambar terkait

    …..

    Others may take a different view from that expressed by Sihol Manullang. For the JP to describe those Jokowi met as an ‘opposition’ movement is somewhat gilding the lily.

    One can oppose some or all of the President’s polices but the  the ‘Muslim orgainsation’ referred to is none other than that inveterate enemy of free speech, the National Movement to Safeguard the Indonesian Ulema Council’s Fatwa (GNPF-MUI),

    Indeed, the JP correctly reminds us of that gang’s role as the mastermind of a string of mass rallies protesting the leadership of former Jakarta governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, using his backgrounds as a Christian of Chinese descent as one of its objections.

    Those hate-demos were a blight on the face of Indonesia’s image as a pluralist country once famous for its tolerance and commitment to religious liberty.

    Ahok, now imprisoned for ‘blasphemy’  – seriously, in the 21st century!

    The protesters, most of whom were men dressed in white Muslim attire, were heard yelling, “We want a Muslim governor,” “Burn Ahok!” and “Kafir!”   http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2016/10/14/thousands-hard-liners-march-against-ahok.htm

    ==

    The photo of the meeting in the JP does not include one of the GNPF-MUI’s most infamous notables, Habib Rizieq, the ‘grand imam’ of the white-shirt vigilante gang that calls itself the FPI, the Islam Defenders Front.

    But Rizieq’s absence is no indication that the fanatics who did attend the chummy chat with Jokowi omitted the ‘grand imam’ from their delegation out of choice.

    Fact is, Rizieq is not ANYWHERE in Indonesia at the moment.

    Police Add FPI Leader Rizieq Shihab to Most Wanted List

    But individuals. albeit fascinatiing, are secondary.

    The President’s guests, and the MUI itself, represent the most extreme sectarian elements in this country.

    Many MUI ‘fatwas’ have long been either a matter for jest, like their anti-yoga decree, or examples of quite terrifying hostility to religious liberty, such as that notorious anti-Ahmadiyah diktat. Since that edict was issued, the totally peaceful and  inoffensive Ahmadi minority has gone through hell.

    Even during the recent ‘holy month,’ we had to read about monstrous anti-Ahmadi hate-crimes..

    Trans-Atlantic Christophobia – Tim Farron And Bernie Sanders

    After Bernie Sanders’ near spittle-flecked inquisitional tirade against  Christians was captured live on TV at the United States Senate a few days ago…

    Hate-Freak Sanders Savages Christian At Senate Hearing!

    .

    Gambar terkait

    =============

    ….we now see, in the UK Guardian, that Liberal Democrat Tim Farron, has quit as party leader –

    “To be a political leader – especially of a progressive, liberal party in 2017…

    ..

    ..

    …and to live as a committed Christian, to hold faithfully to the Bible’s teaching, has felt impossible for me.”

    Tim Farron resigns: fresh-faced Lib Dem hampered by his faith

    We hear a lot, far too much, about “Islamophobia,” a carefully manufactured buzz-word deployed to ward off criticism of backward shariah ‘law.’

    =====

    =

    But what we are now witnessing is ‘Christophobia.’

    The Liberal Democrats apparently felt Farron’s timidly expressed, and often trimmed, Biblical beliefs lost them votes in ‘metropolitan progressive’ areas where exaltation of the ‘gay’ agenda is pervasive.

    ==

    Farron’s resignation comes after a notorious ‘gay’ LibDem, Brian Paddick, put pressure on him by resigning from a party position.

    Lib Dem peer resigns over Farron’s views on homosexuality
    ————

    Clearly it’s hands-across the sea, for liberals, because Bigot Bernie specifically declared that a man with Christian convictions is…

    …is really not someone who this country is supposed to be about…

    Bernie Sanders ruled out public service by Christians

    Sanders is a veteran politician who is well aware of the orchestrated hate his fellow-leftists have been promoting against Donald Trump in particular and Republicans and conservatives in general.

    Only this past few weeks we had ‘Shakespeare in the Park’ in New York, featuring a Trump look-alike playing Caesar and being assassinated.

    Shakespeare in the Park Show Features Stabbing of Trump Look-Alike

    =======

    Prior to that there was the sleazy ‘comedienne’ holding up a Trump head, dripping blood.

     On many American streets, vicious violence by antifa red nazis has been unleashed.

    Counter-demonstrations, a facet of democracy, have been deliberately turned into a war on Trump supporters’ right to free speech and assembly.

    ==========

    Democracy is all about debate.

    We have long understood that the ‘metropolitan progressive’ elites regard it as more appropriate to shout down, or simply shut down, conservatism, social or political, rather than engage in proper argument.

    Now it seems that, in both the USA and the UK,  Christianity too is to be excluded from the sphere of political discourse.

      Your Crusader armor doesn’t look familiar to anyone who’s seen you throwing beer down your throat with a cigarette hanging out your mouth while busy chatting up women in Jakarta’s less salubrious bars.

      We hope your Christian fanatic fundamentalist readers come here some day and see you in action.

      Might damage your aisle-cred, wouldn’t you say? .

        Good evening, Bonzo,or whoever you really are.
        I would have to applaud anyone who can simultaneously conduct those three activities mentioned in your first sentence. Such agility! Is it even possible to down a pint while a cigarette is hanging from one’s mouth. Would any of those women understand a word uttered by anyone whose mouth was biting a cigarette and awash with beer?
        Pray tell, please, where in the Scriptures it says that beer, cigarettes or girls are disallowed?

        I don’t think we have too many fundamentalist readers, whether Christian or Muslim as they might not enjoy my frequent photos of nicely clad and fetching fillies.

        Seriously, though, how come my previous posts in favour of religious liberty of Ahmadi Muslims did not provoke your righteous indignation but this one, on behalf of Christians, got you grabbing for your key-board?
        Have a nice evening!

      Hahaha, Ross.

      Is Bonzo who I think? If so he is half your age and doesnt have nearly as much fun as you do.
      You must be at least 10 years older than me and I hope in 10 years I am having as much fun as you do.
      Oh and I saw The Mummy and it was nof funny like the Brendan Fraser mummy films but a very good horror.
      Go and see it. .

      Bernie Sanders is now telling us that violence ‘sickens’ him, after one of his campaign volunteers tried to massacre Republican congressmen.
      I am sure Sanders would never lift a gun himself but all that intolerance he shows and that of all the other liberals whose hate has been splashing over conservatives for the past eight months has made America a very much worse place to live.

    Happy Pancasila Day – Is ‘Brotherhood’ Worth A Hundred Yard Walk?

    It’s Pancasila Day, a new public holiday in Indonesia, declared by President Jokowi to promote the pluralist vision of the nation’s founding fathers, who had no time for the Islamist bigotry which is increasingly blighting this lovely country.

    The national ideology is all about unity in diversity, and although I myself have no work to go to, being happily retired from the daily routine, I shall enjoy the relaxation thus mandated.

    Pak Presiden wants everyone to feel as if they are ‘brothers’ and we might assume he agrees with his son, Kaeseng, who’s reported in the Jakarta Post to have published these admirable sentiments.

    “We need to work together to build a better Indonesia, not by slandering each other or claiming others as infidels. Moreover, there was campaign to not provide proper burial rites to Muslims on the basis of voting preferences, how did that come about?”http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2017/05/29/kaesang-criticizes-viral-video-of-children-chanting-hate-speech-calls-for-tolerance.html

    Wonderful words, but how about deeds?

    How about some Sunday morning, this Ramadhan month, Jokowi emerges from his palace downtown and walks a hundred yards across the road…

    With Jokowi’s Palace in the background, the victims of Islamist evil proclaim their faith

    ………

    Oppressed Christians In The Street Heat, In Pluralist Indonesia

    X-Rated Xmas – Foul-Mouths Bully Christians, As ‘Moderate’Mayor Denies They Exist!’

    …to where his persecuted Christian brothers and sisters are forced to worship by the roadside because intolerant Islamists have sealed their churches in West Java.

    “We are Indonesia, we live in diversity,” says Kaeseng.

    It would be a fine reaffirmation of that principle if his illustrious Dad joined the victims of sectarianism…

    ==

    …and ordered his National Police Chief to enforce the Supreme Court ruling that the GKI Yasmin congregants have every right to access their church and use it to practise the religious liberty that Indonesia’s Constitution affords them.
