Lest We Forget – Cikeusik 2011 – Anniversary Of An Islamist Pogrom

It was on 6th February 2011 that we watched the news on Indonesian TV, the Cikeusik Pogrom, a thousand-strong mob…

…of vile sectarian savages swaggering along country roads not so very far from where we sat in our comfortable Jakarta home.

    Their objective?

A handful of innocent fellow-citizens, whose only ‘offence’ was to worship God Almighty in a manner different from their manner.

The filthy swine, under the watchful eyes of on-duty police, laid siege to a small habitation and in due course got hold of their prey, dragged them out and battered them to death.

Nobody has ever been charged with those murders, although everybody was well aware of the foul crime that had been committed.

Sometime Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa’s bizarre comment was, sadly, the nearest any major figure came to acknowledging the devastating effect the slaughter of innocent men had on Indonesia’s reputation.

…and until at least an attempt is made to bring such charges, I will continue to remind anyone who cares about religious liberty of what occurred that day.

PS –  Zuckwit’s geekstapo kicked me off Facebook for one of my reminders, a few years ago.

If you’re still free to use this anti-social media thing, try to put this on your page and see what happens.

Java Christians STILL Forced To Worship On Pavement!

A trip into town today, to observe the lack of religious liberty in Indonesia today.

Still There! Oppressed Christians Swelter In Jakarta!

In fact, the oppression of the GKI Yasmin congregation has gone on for years, since the Islamist bigot Mayor of Bogor shut them down by sealing the site of their house of worship.

Vicious savages and the Bogor civic militia physically prevented them exercising their right to worship there.

The police watched the victims of Islamist intolerance pray outside the sealed site.

Please note, decent Muslims, like Lily Wahid…

    Gambar terkait

…but neither former President SBY nor current President Jokowi ordered the police to enforce the high court order.

Meanwhile the old bigot mayor was replaced by a ‘moderate…’

    So today I went along…

Every other week, every month, for six  – or is it seven? – or more years

…and there they were, many years into their struggle for justice, on the pavement across the road from Jokowi’s State Palace. They have for long kept a vacant stool for their President, should he care to join them – he never has!

Elections next year, when Jokowi will again face his rival Prabowo, and it’s with a heavy heart that – since both have chosen shariah fanatics as their running mates – I must predict that the persecution of the Yasmin Protestants will not cease.

How sad for this lovely country!

An Incredible Betrayal – The Argie’s Beijing Pact

Not my words, but those of Cardinal Joseph Zen, ‘the most senior Catholic cleric on Chinese soil,’ his stinging denunciation of the dirty deal which he knew was about to be sealed by that swine Francis and the world’s largest totalitarian tyranny.

    Zen didn’t mince his words.

“They’re giving the flock into the mouths of the wolves.

    communism tyranny

pope- ‘’Martyrs? Big deal! I justa dunna mucho bigger deal!’

It’s an incredible betrayal,” he said.

But sadly he did then begin word-mincing, blaming a Vatican flunkey, a ‘diplomat’ named Parolin, instead of the slimy Argie rat on whose orders Parolin was acting.

Zen said Parolin was ‘someone who despised heroes of faith.

    “He should resign!”

Alas, after uttering those admirable sentiments, Zen declined to step up and name the real author of this betrayal.

“I would not come out to fight the Holy Father, that is my bottom line.”

He’s an old guy, schooled all his life to bow to the Bishop of Rome, no matter that the current holder of that title is a ratbag with no conscience, who has shown time and again that he cares naught for the Christians of Europe…

Dope! “Prioritise Migrants’ Dignity Over National Security!”

The sleazy creep repeatedly offers prayers for illegal aliens…

    Argie Dope’s Selective Prayers!

…but has never publicly lamented the rape of Christian girls by scum imported by Merkel.

Not to forget his involvement in the cover-ups on sexual abuse by his pedo-priests.

Hey, Dope Francis, Bring Your Pedo-Priest To Justice!

Those faithful Chinese Catholics who have suffered oppression for over half a century, including martyrdoms at the hands of the Reds, must be sick at heart at what Foul Francis has done.

I am no fan of Cromwell, but his words to the Long Parliament in London are worth echoing today when we observe this latest cynical betrayal.

Who’s ‘Moderate?’ Ask Jakarta Foreign Correspondents!

I had an email last week, from the Jakarta Foreign Correspondents Club, advertising one of their frequent meetings at which prominent Indonesians are invited to speak.

    Gambar terkait

Unfortunately, they often chop and change their times and dates, which makes one rather reluctant to attend.

This time, today, it’s Muhammad Zainul Majdi, Governor of West Nusa Tenggara Province, and I was fascinated by the JFCC’s laudatory description of His Excellency.

    • tuan-guru-bajang-kh-zainul-majdi-ma-pemimpin-ntb-baru_htm
    • The Governor
    • =======================

Also known as Tuan Guru Bajang, or TGB, he not only has a strong economic track record and reputation as a progressive governor of West Nusa Tenggara, but is also a highly respected Muslim scholar and proponent of moderate Islam.

I can’t comment on his ‘economic track record,’ but TGB’s ‘moderate Islam?’ Are the senders of that JFCC email unaware of his views on the persecuted Ahmadiyah?

Those Muslim dissenters have suffered monstrous maltreatment in recent years, in various provinces, like Banten, which is only a few miles from where I live in Jakarta…

Victim of Islamist Murder Mob Gets Six Months in the Slammer

…but also in Zainul’s own territory.

    ahmadis transito
Savage bigots in Lombok destroy Ahmadi homes -100 cops just watched – and that wasn’t this month, it was YEARS ago.
In Squalid Internal Exile, Lombok Ahmadis Denied Voting Rights

And while the scandalous bigotry pictured above was indeed years ago, only this month, moronic savages again ran amok in Lombok

Ahmadi community comes under attack in East Lombok, as homes and properties destroyed

“The attacks were based on similar reasons: hatred and intolerance,” said a spokesperson for the Ahmadiyah Indonesia Congregation.
“It’s not the first and definitely won’t be the last attack. It’s been years and the Ahmadi community continues to live under threats…”

So what do we know of TGB’s thoughts on this dire situation?  Have they become less intolerant than when he indulged in the following outburst?

Zainul Majdi says that he did not see why the Ahmadiyah should be part of the island’s plans to follow in the footsteps of neighboring Bali, a noted tourist hotspot.

Ahmadis, Zainul said, would be better off moving out of the province entirely or agreeing to a proposal to relocate to a remote island in West Nusa Tenggara. The governor said the sect…did not fit into his drive to ramp up Lombok’s tourist appeal.

Instead of blaming the foul bigots harassing the peaceful and inoffensive Ahmadis, Zainul went on to claim it was the victims’ own fault –

‘It was only after they formed their own community, maintaining their exclusivity and proselytizing their faith did friction with surrounding areas occur.”

Why on earth should they not proselytise?

Do not Zainul and many other Muslims believe they have a duty to spread their faith?

Does Zainul not think others should enjoy the same right?

It’s true the man has criticised the vigilante gangs, and he does not endorse violence, but he is surely, on the evidence of his own words, no ‘moderate’ on matters of religious liberty UNLESS he has had a dramatic change of heart!

But perhaps the ‘foreign correspondents’ who sent out that email did not know of his blatant victim-blaming.

Or, who knows, they have evidence that he has repented…

    Gambar terkait

….and apologised for his erstwhile intolerance.

Nobody would be happier than me to hear their proof that he’s a reformed character!

If that’s not the case, if he still sticks by his previous appalling assertions, and the JFCC are ignorant of those assertions, then they’re doing a shockingly sloppy job and should be replaced by journalists who know what they’re talking about.

My initial remarks about how JFCC chops and changes their meeting schedule?

    YUP, they’ve done it again.

When I got home last night, another email was waiting for me, to say today’s meeting has been changed to tomorrow.

The reasons for the change is that the Governor is naturally prioritising the earthquake in Lombok over lesser matters.

Also, I am honestly asking, are these JFCC people real foreign correspondents?
Uninformed comments like they made to show off their guest as more ’moderate’ than he really is makes me wonder if its just a group of Walter Mitty types.
I can imagine some expats like to pretend they are 21st century versions of the journalist Mel Gibson played in Year of Living Dangerously. I lived in Jakarta for years and I know it has an effect on expats.

I have no idea who or how many are their members.
So far there has been no excuse offered on why they portrayed this man as a moderate.

Pancasila? Seven Years Post-Cikeusik, Ahmadis Still Suffer

It was on February 6th, 2011, not so very far from Jakarta, that the infamous Cikeusik Pogrom occurred, three innocent Ahmadis….

Cikeusik – cowardly scum commit sectarian murder

Watch the pigs at their bloody work on this link..   http://www.liveleak.com/view.

…savagely bludgeoned to death by a mob of cowardly Islamist fanatics.

Victim of Islamist Murder Mob Gets Six Months in the Slammer

We lament this atrocity every year and remind all prepared to listen that no justice has yet been done, no charges of murder brought against the swine responsible.

But the persecution of, the denial of religious liberty to, this peaceful and decent community continues today.

    It’s never stopped.

Just put ‘Ahmadis’ into our search box over there to the right and you can see the endless saga of vicious sectarianism that afflicts them.

Just a week or so ago, just a few miles from where I live, just across the city limits that separate Jakarta from Tangerang in the Province of Banten, Islamist bigotry reared its ugly head,

I quote from the local newspaper.

Pemuda Pancasila (PAP) Ciputat, accompanied residents and a number of community leaders to reject the construction of the Ahmadiyah Jemaah Mosque in Ciputat,  South Tangerang, on Saturday (20/01/2018)

Dampingi Warga Serua Indah, Pemuda Pancasila Tolak Pembangunan Masjid Jemaah Ahmadiyah

Their rejection of the Ahmadiyah Mosque was also demonstrated by the installation of banners at the entrance of the empty land.

Needless to say, the notorious thug-gang, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) was reportedly present. But that’s par for the course whenever intolerance is in the air.

FPI in West Java – ‘Let’s Burn Out the Orphans!’

    Eager to kill!

IslamoNazi Gauleiter – “Women Already Have Limitations, Let Alone Non-Muslims!”

Again, search ‘FPI’ and you’ll see what we mean.

It was the presence of the Pemuda Pancasila that caught my attention more than anything else.

Pemuda simply means Youth, but Pancasila is Indonesia’s national ideology, a key tenet of which is pluralism, respect for all Indonesians’ right to worship Almighty God.

Except it seems, if they upset the so-called ‘scholars’ of the MUI, the Indonesian Scholars Council, whose fatwas are sometimes just laughable…

    …but not always.

The bigoted fatwa they unleashed some years ago against the Ahmadis has been invoked by fanatics over and over to stomp their right to worship, often by wicked, violent means.

So an outfit using the word Pancasila ought to be defending religious liberty, you’d think. Instead, astonishingly, the PP spokesman at the scene declared that –

” Then the basis of our rejection was quite clear, that there is no last Prophet other than the Prophet Muhammad SAW, “said Abdul Aziz.

Another protester told the media –

“So in addition to the rejection of the construction of the mosque, we also reject the Ahmadiyah congregation…”.

So the objection to the proposed Ahmadi mosque is NOT based on anything that you or I would deem planning grounds, no access problems, no infrastructure problems, no…

It’s purely because the peaceful minority holds views at variance with Islamist dogma. Very sad, that seven years after the Cikeusik Pogrom, there’s no sign of any mind-set revolution in Tangerang, nor in many other places…

“Mohon Ma’af?” Blasphemous Brutes Vandalise Depok Mosque!

In Squalid Internal Exile, Lombok Ahmadis Denied Voting Rights

…nor of any moves by the Government to quash the grotesque discriminatory Tri-Ministerial Decree which has made the Ahmadis second class citizens, and in some cases refugees, in their own country, of which they are loyal and law-abiding citizens.

PS – here’s a list of examples of oppression which we reproduced last year –In Jakarta, Persecuted Ahmadis Seek Justice!  – there have been other incidents since then.

    Christian Faith A Hate-Crime? May’s Flunkey Won’t Say!

British Government refuses to say whether proclaiming divinity of Christ is a hate crime?

    Gambar terkait

That’s the headline in the UK’s Catholic Herald, and the report below it bears out its truth.

As Christmas draws nigh, the cringing appeasement of a government owing allegiance to a monarch whose titles include ‘Defender of The Faith’ is glaringly exposed, thanks to UKIP peer Lord Pearson of Rannoch.

    Gambar terkait

    Lord Pearson

Lord Pearson says that he put this question to Theresa May’s spokeswoman, Charlotte Vere ( a rabid Remainer,BTW) in the House of Lords –

‘Will they confirm unequivocally that a Christian who says that Jesus is the only son of the one true God cannot be arrested for hate crime or any other offence, however much it may offend a Muslim or anyone of any other religion?’”

    Gambar terkait

Not in the Houses of Parliament, it seems!

Vere, Theresa’s faithful flunkey, offered the following non-reply:

“My Lords, I am not going to comment on that last question from the noble Lord.”

She added that the legal definition of “hate crime” has been the same for the past 10 years.

So what’s the daft young (-ish) bat on about?

A question on religious liberty gets an ‘answer’ about ‘hate-crime?’

Pearson was interviewed later and noted the current ‘double standard.’

“You can say what you like about the Virgin Birth, the miracles and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, but as soon as you say ‘come on, is Islam really the religion of peace that it claims to be’, all hell breaks loose.”

Come on, indeed. There are of course good, decent, peaceful Muslims, some of whom are frequent guests in my home.

But the phrase ‘religion of peace’ is not what springs to mind when you see the FPI, Islam Defenders’ Front, marching through Jakarta…

…nor is the indubitably Islamic organisation called Hizbut Tahrir notably shy about their beliefs.

Hizbut Tahrir UK – “When ‘Moderates’ Talk of Peace, They’re Lying!”

Not just Pearson but all Brits should be concerned about Vere’s vacillation on whether or not Christians, whose creed, in its denominational variants…

Hasil gambar untuk monarchy defender of the faith

….is the creed established by law in both England and Scotland, are any longer free to proclaim their faith without fear of legal reprisals.

     Once they criminalise Christianity…

Oz Opts To Wallow In The Mire! Turnbull Turns On Tolerance, Of Course!

Australia has voted to legalise homo-weddings,  and it’s a black day for every Australian who cares about common decency.

Meanwhile, as some of the worst elements in Oz are mincing with glee, Malcolm Turnsteer has already nailed his true colours to the maladjust mast.

When some brave law-makers made clear they’d fight for protection for dissenters’ rights in any forthcoming legislation, Turnbull slapped them down…

Tony Abbott, in contrast, has declared that whatever changes may be made in marriage law, they must “entrench the right to dissent from any new orthodoxy.”

And that ‘new orthodoxy’ is showing scant interest in tolerance for its critics.

     So much for religious liberty!

Turnbull’s preferred legislation, which he wants rammed through ASAP, would offer no such respect for conscience, and if he gets his way, Australia could well see scenes of disgusting persecution…

A Coalition for Marriage spokeswoman said the no campaign found Turnbull’s comments “surprising” because he had recently said “he believed more strongly in religious freedom than in same-sex marriage…”

“During the Senate select committee hearings earlier this year and … throughout the campaign, many Australians have raised concerns about the consequences of redefining marriage and these have been ignored in the Smith bill,” she said.

Turnsteer is a funny name that’s true, but now we should name him U-Turnbull, after his betrayal of anyone dumb enough to believe that he for a minute meant what he said about the importance of religious liberty.

You are bang on target, Ross, and thanks by the way for your encouraging posts during the campaign,

These ‘gay’ buggars who are never gay in the real sense of the word they stole, never happy, always aggressive and vicious and intolerant.
Those examples of Christians in America being persecuted for standing by their beliefs are going to be replicated now in Australia and U-Turnbull has made it clear he will ‘slap down’ anybody who tries to protect dissenters.”
He is one total sh–t and we have GOT to get a proper conservative party, Bernardi maybe or better still Abbott.rr

We lost to those queers because of the media bias and the corruption of young minds in the education system but also because the ‘right-wing’ Coalition has for years been infiltrated by the left.

Though it goes back to Malcolm Fraser and his multicultural rubbish, Malcolm Turnbull, the ones who staged his coup against Tony Abbott are worse, they are the ones we need to get rid off.

Pauline is good on a lot of issues but I would say the new Conservative Party is the better bet.

Good News – Wow! – For Indonesian Religious Freedom!

A rare victory for religious liberty in Jakarta, where Indonesia’s Constitutional Court last week issued a decision  to allow followers of indigenous faiths to state their beliefs on their national identity cards, or KTP…

These cards are important, essential even, for they give citizens access to state services of every kind. Without them, life is more than arduous.

So well done, the Constitutional Court.

“… the word ‘religion’ on Article 61 [1] and Article 64 [1] of the Civil Administration Law contradicts the 1945 Constitution and is not legally binding.”      http://jakartaglobe.id/news/indonesias-constitutional-court-says-yes-indigenous-faiths/

In place of the discriminatory articles, the justices have sensibly urged a new category – “believers of the faith,” or penghayat kepercayaan – in addition to the six officially recognized religions – Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Confucianism. –

These kepercayaan creeds arguably deserve pride of place, not a mere additional status, because they pre-date the imported religions and have thousands of followers.

They could have been listed alongside the other years ago, but I’ve read that even the iron regime of President Suharto…

….felt reluctant to risk the wrath of bigots who feared many of their theoretical followers would switch to kepercayaan..

It always makes me wonder how strong a faith is, if its leaders are forever fretting that their flocks will desert them when given the chance.

Islamist ‘Scholars’ Quail as ‘Christianisation’ Looms!

However, there’s many a slip twixt cup and lip.

The court’s recommendation is only that, and some fanatics in the administrative levels may drag their feet about implementing the ruling.

And it would be a nice gesture to supplement this brave step towards fair play in matters of faith if President Jokowi could repeal the intolerant Tri-Ministerial Decree…

…which is one of the most oppressive edicts ever issued. and has resulted in widespread persecution of the peaceful and inoffensive Ahmadi minority.

However, I am not going to hold my breath on that one. If justice for Ahmadis caught on, there might even be fresh demands for a re-opening of the Cikeusik Pogrom case…

…when three brave men were murdered – martyred- for their Ahmadiyah religion by a mob of stinking cowards…

Victim of Islamist Murder Mob Gets Six Months in the Slammer

…and no murder charges were ever brought, despite a sickening video record of the entire vile episode.

Nevertheless, this has to be welcomed, after a previous ruling from the same court that left intact the bizarre ‘blasphemy law.’

Always nice to see you havent given up on Indonesia.
I agree the court did well with this but I think youre right, who knows if the government officials will act on the ruling.
Youre right too to keep raising the Cikeusik case but I have no hope those three murdered men will ever get justice..
      Dont let it go though..

Sectarian Barbarism – Alive And Thriving In Pakistan!

Three members of Ahmadiyya community sentenced to death in Pakistan

Three Ahmadis, to die at the hands of primitive savages?

The report from Pakistan immediately brought to mind the Cikeusik Pogrom here in Indonesia, February 6th 2011, three blameless Ahmadis slaughtered by an evil rabble, a thousand sectarian scumbags…

Victim of Islamist Murder Mob Gets Six Months in the Slammer

    …but there’s one key difference.

The innocent victims of wicked Islamists then were bludgeoned to death by a mob of cowardly swine, not one of whom was ever charged with murder.

Disgraceful and a stain on Indonesia’s reputation  – but down to inaction, not directly done by the judicial arm of the state.

The latest news, in contrast, refers to what Pakistan presumably  would have us believe is a court of law!

    • Three members of the persecuted Ahmadiyya community have been sentenced to death in Pakistan’s Punjab province for committing blasphemy by tearing up posters that demanded boycott of the minority sect.

    • Law, maybe, but a parody of justice!

    • In fact what was done there last week exposes Pakistan as one of the most backward and bigoted countries in the world, downright wickedness dispensed by judges who are beneath contempt.

    • Persecution of people for how they choose to worship is intolerable, especially people like the Ahmadis, who are absolutely peaceful, good citizens wherever they live…

    • ….and in every way inoffensive, except to benighted brutes, is an affront to humanity.

    • According to police official Muhammad Ashar, the people had displayed posters in the village urging social boycott of the Ahmadiyya community which three people had teared down. “The posters carried Islamic verses,” he said.

    • If it weren’t such an affront to decency, the scandalous ‘proceedings’ would be near laughable!

    • They have also been fined Rs 200,000 each and in case they don’t pay the fine, they would undergo six months of rigorous punishment.

    • Well, Hell, I’m sure that’ll vex them no end!

    • Will their six months of rigorous punishment.be imposed before, during, or after their execution?

    • Speaking of Hell, I reckon one individual who will end up there sooner or later is the person who presided over a ‘trial’ more reminiscent of a mediaeval witch-hunt…

    • ==
    • ….than an exercise in dispensing justice.

    • ======
    • District and Sessions Judge of Sheikhupura district of Punjab province Mian Javed Akram  announced the verdict on Wednesday after the prosecution submitted evidence and presented all witnesses in the case…
    • ….The convicts admitted before the court that they had removed the posters for demanding social boycott of Ahmadiyya community but not to commit blasphemy.
    • Oh, yeah, it was those verses that did for them!

    • All hope is not lost.

    • Their counsel will challenge the verdict in the higher court.

    • But let’s look at the broader picture.

    • The report reminds us that it was the military dictator Zia ul Haq who made it a punishable offence for Ahmadiyyas to call themselves Muslim or to refer to their faith as Islam.
    • =
    • The community is also banned from preaching as well as from travelling to Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. They are also not allowed to publish any material propagating their faith.

    • ….should tell the government there that until the monstrous persecution of Ahmadis ( and not only Ahmadis – Memo – Satanic Taliban Are NOT Pakistan Christians’ Only Enemies!  ) is extirpated from their state system, no further Western aid of any sort will be provided.

    • And it might be no bad idea to add Pakistan to the list of countries that The Donald drew up as sources of mischief.

Another USA Petition – Thank You, Mr. President!

Some people ask why I bother to include so many petitions and appeals for protests on behalf of causes around the world.

It’s simply a courtesy, and a recognition that the forces of darkness, eg liberals, reds, pinkos, etc…

…never hesitate to make their voices heard when they are upset.

Having once been in politics myself, at a fairly grassroots level, I know from experience that most mail comes from those with a grouse.

But when you get a letter applauding something you’ve said or done, it’s a tremendous fillip…

….a boost to morale that you keep in your file as a reminder that you got it right – and somebody noticed!

So no apologies for aiding and abetting this new one, from FRC, to thank The Donald  – and Jeff Sessions- for taking steps to curb the gaystapo menace.

    October 06, 2017

Today, the Department of Justice (DOJ), issued guidance directing federal agencies to respect religious freedom.

As you may remember, President Trump issued an executive order on May 4 making clear that the administration will pursue policies that “protect and vigorously promote religious liberty ” and thus directing the DOJ to issue guidelines ensuring religious liberty is protected.

Today that guidance was issued and another step was taken toward undoing the anti-faith policies of the Obama administration.

President Trump and now the Department of Justice are placing federal government agencies on notice: you will not only respect the freedom of every American to believe, but the free exercise of religion.

Today, Family Research Council is launching a hotline for federal employees, contractors and citizens who believe that they have suffered discrimination in the workplace based on their religious beliefs or practices. The ‘Free to Believe’ hotline will help ensure that no one will have to choose between their livelihood and their faith.

Please join me in signing our thank you petition to President Trump and the Attorney General expressing appreciation for their efforts to end government discrimination on the basis of religious beliefs or practices. Click the petition below to sign!

    Tony Perkins

I thank President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions as they work to vigorously defend religious liberty.

The Department of Justice guidance makes clear no federal employee, contractor or citizen should be forced to choose between their livelihood and their faith.

I stand with the president and attorney general as they follow through on their promise to undo the anti-faith policies of the previous administration and restore true religious freedom.

Sign this petition to President Trump and Attorney General expressing appreciation for their efforts to end government discrimination on the basis of religious beliefs or practices.
