Good Shooting, Riau Cops! Four Less Foul Fanatics In The World!

Just got home and turned on the TV an hour ago, .

Sad to hear that one police officer was killed in Riau today, up near the northern end of Indonesia, across the straits from Singapore.

But three  – or more – cheers for his comrades in arms who took out a quartet of jihadist vermin who attacked Police HQ there.

You can read more details here=

Riau Police succeeded in stopping attack: National Police

I’ve never spent much time in Riau, except when using the post city of Batam to take the ferry to Singapore, but I have had cause to write about the good people there….

Bravo, Batam! Young Indonesians Challenge IslamoNazis

    ..and the not so good…

    …and the BAD….

Bigot ‘Scholars’ Back IslamoNazi Call – ‘Ban Christian Public Worship!’

This Club’s Not For Burning! Islamist Thugs Thwarted!

Unlike today’s bloody news, of course, the above examples of Islamist  iniquity did not result in innocents dying.

Intimidation and thuggery by sectarian louts is a lesser affront to civilised society.

Yet if one level is tolerated, what must we expect but that even more savage brutes will emerge to plague the community?

      No doubt about it, Ross,
Riau has had its share of intolerant thug activity, but the whole country faces a serious threat and I think if the thuggery had been put a stop to years ago then this jihadism might never have gotten off the ground.

The police and esp Densus 88 do a pretty good job but if they dont follow up on the dissolution of HTI by banning all those extremist organizations, we wont be seeing any end to the trouble soon.

Thanks to you Mr Ross for telling that there are many good people in Riau.
We hate the fanatics and we want to be free from them.
We need to get our army and police to stop them like this because prison will not reform them as we have only seen this month.

I got home late tonight but heard the news in town.
Reading this reminded me of all those good stories you used to write about what was going on here.
We may be seeing the last of the best days but even so you should keep covering more of the local news.
I enjoyed your blog a lot more when you did.

A Tropical Calais? Indonesian Mayor Wants Migrants “Removed!”

Batam Mayor Muhammad Rudi said Thursday he asked for the minister’s guidelines about how to deal with the “social problems caused by the immigrants” in Batam…

    • Hasil gambar untuk batamsend-them-back

    • =======================

    • “We are asking for the immigrants to be removed from Batam,” Rudi said..

    • Batam is a bustling port at the northern end of Indonesia, just across from Singapore.

    • I’ve passed through it a couple of times, and taken the international ferry, a short, pleasant journey, on which you can see lots of small boats going to and fro, many of them fishermen. It must be quite easy to sneak into quiet spots along the coast if one wishes to deposit a cargo of crimmigrants.

    • But this JP article nowhere specifically says Mayor Rudi is talking about legal or illegal immigrants…

…until we reach these two consecutive paragraphs.

Batam Immigration Office recorded 362 immigrants in Batam, 280 of whom live at Kolekta Hotel and 61 at the Immigration Office Detention Center. The immigrants’ cost of living is funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Does this mean that some government apparatchik has chosen to emulate Cameron, instal illegals in hotel accommodation, instead of slapping them behind bars where they belong?

There are also 82 immigrants living at Aspirasi Park in Batam. They are from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia and Ethiopia.

Aaah! Same allsorts with which poor Calais is burdened.

The municipality said the immigrants have made the park “dirty.”  http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2016/10/13/batam-wants-govt-to-remove-immigrants-from-city.html

And another Batam official had another thing to say which made me think of Calais, and the long failure of French authorities to crack down on the undesirables –

“There is no supervision of them. This is dangerous. The central government has to consider the local wisdom when they decide to accommodate immigrants,” he said.

British Lying Press V French Patriot Mayor!

Sounds just like that fine French mayor we wrote about last week!

In France Today, Democracy’s ‘A Threat To Public Order!’

The report concludes with a most peculiar sentence.

I’m not sure if it reflects the versatility of undesirable aliens or the the Jakarta Post’s infamous grammar issues.

Recently the Immigration Office arrested several male immigrants suspected of soliciting themselves.

Thank you for reminding us that it isn’t the AfD in Germany and Marine Le Pen in France and the FPO in Austria who see the illegal immigrant problem clearly.
Like many Australians, I fully agree with the Batam Mayor.
I also remembered your blog post nearly three years ago, when the Indonesian judge described how some of those ‘poor persecuted Rohingiya refugees’ behaved.
‘ – the defendants have been proven legally and convincingly guilty of working together to blatantly carry out violence, which resulted in the loss of human lives.’ https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2013/12/05/heading-for-oz-murderous-rohingya-asylumers-out-in-nine-months/
Indonesians naturally don’t appreciate ungrateful migrants.
I understand that perfectly but just the same, it’s a pity that they don’t deport them back to where they come from. I read too many times that they try to pass them along to long-suffering Australia!

That’s an outstandingly good Jakarta Post grammatical bolzup!
Soliciting yourself must be easy but not profitable.

Why doesn’t that newspaper employ people with a minimal command of English?..

How nice to know that our refusal to be cowed by the political elite is echoed by a mayor in distant Indonesia. Well done, Batam..
Everywhere around the world we read of these unwanted people just sneaking or even barging into places they don’t belong, no respect for the places they invade, causing crimes and making as dirty a mess where they squat as they did in their own countries..

Indonesian Victims of IslamoNazi Thuggery ‘Apologise!’

I wish I could call this story ‘shocking’ but I personally am running out of ‘shockability.’ Indeed, the more time that passes under President (‘Pluralist’) Jokowi, the less shocking this kind of appalling new report becomes.

What happened in Pekanbaru seemed so outlandish that I used three different media sources to make my account as accurate as possible. But one phrase, from Riau Online, sums up the frail state of religious freedom in Indonesia today.

After Attacked by FPI, HMI Pekanbaru Apologize

FPI, as regular readers know, is the violent vigilante gangster group which styles itself the ‘Islam Defenders Front.’ Their victimisation of minority creeds here is infamous..
…but their latest target, HMI, is the Muslim Students Association, a nationwide organisation..

What happened was that the Pekanbaru branch of HMI, along with another group,  Activist Network Islamic Philosophy (JAKFI) decided to hold a discussion forum last Friday.

As their coordinator, Diman, later explained in a statement to situsriau.com, the IslamoNazi thugs not only broke up the meeting but kidnapped one of the speakers, a man from Jogjakarta named Safman.

Diman says the actual theme of the talk was “Identity of Women in Indonesia, Progressive Historical and Spiritual.” Dikait-kaitkan dengan Syiah, Ini Kronologis Pembubaran …

Well, that would catch the attention of IslamoNazis, who think women should know their place – which is somewhere way down below that of men.

As one of their Jakarta jerks once put it….

IslamoNazi Gauleiter – “Women Already Have Limitations, Let Alone Non-Muslims!”

But even so, while using stormtroop tactics on meetings, or even against inoffensive food-stalls…

    • FPI_13
    • ———-

…is nothing new for these jihadist hoodlums, unlawfully carrying people off for ‘interrogation’ is certainly an expanded interpretation of their vindictive vision and mission!

Diman –“We greatly regret the dissolution, with even our speaker forcibly taken away without the consent of those who invited him.”

It seems that when Safwan arrived at 8pm, FPI louts were already on the scene, and he tried to have a ‘dialogue’ with the gang. Then ‘about 50 FPI members came in and immediately took action, and Safwan.’

Safwan – the middle-aged scholar seized by 50 IslamoNazi hooligans

“We did not know where our speaker was taken. He could not be contacted, but around 23:00 pm, online media announced he was at the FPI headquarters in Tanjung Rhu and was being interrogated.”

Diman sensibly reported this astonishing news to Pekanbaru Police and requested help.

Two hours later he got word Safwan was going back to Yogyakarta by plane..

“Safwan advised, for the sake of our mutual safety, not to accompany him to the airport,” said Diman, who concluded that his guest was being forced by the hoodlums to leave town.

“Most importantly, he was okay,” said Diman. We deeply regret this incident occurred...we are open if the parties seek a dialogical approach.”

Poor Diman, if he’s really naive enough to think that the FPI’s vile thugs are either willing or even able to engage in rational dialogue. It is not in the nature of Islamists to debate, if the option of intimidation is available.

We have seen that often enough, not only with these white-shirt bullies but also with the state-sponsored Indonesian ‘Scholars’ Council –

Cops – “Islamist ‘Scholars’ Can Veto Religious Liberty”

‘Adam Created By Angel?” Islamist ‘Scholars’Call the Cops

Islamists cower from critical thinking. Rather than defend their dogmas in honest argument, they suppress those who’d argue back! And the Government has not disowned the ‘scholars’ – nor subdued the thugs.

“Moreover, we are disappointed that this incident occurred one day after President Joko Widodo ordered the Chief of Police to crack down on intolerants who disperse discussions in the name of religion; we also ask that media reports are balanced, “pleaded Diman. http://www.situsriau.com/read-1-22829–dikaitkaitkan-dengan-syiah-ini-kronologis-pembubaran-diskusi-jakfi-oleh-fpi-versi-hmi.html(Rls)

Another media source says the kidnap victim was ‘beaten’ by the gang. http: //www.riauonline.co.id/2016/04/02/usai-diserang-fpi-hmi-pekanbaru-minta-maaf

And another source,GoRiau.com, says that along with the victim, the perps grabbed several books and a laptop that allegedly contained material to be presented to the participants of the meeting.
“He admitted he was Shia…” said Ustad Ade Hasibuan, the local IslamoNazi gang-leader. “Inevitably we were forced to stop that…”

http://www.goriau.com/berita/peristiwa/breaking-news-massa-fpi-riau-hentikan-kegiatan-berbau-suatu-aliran-1-orang-diamankan.htmlkepentingannya,” that report adds that ‘the action was led by the Regional Army Commander (FPI) Ustad Muhammad Zein.’
Please understand, Zein is no more an ‘Army Commander’ any more than I am a tee-totaller! These IslamoNazis just love to give themselves fancy titles and prance about up in Arabesque fancy-dress.
Sejumlah massa dari Front Pembela Islam (FPI) melakukan aksi di depan Gedung Mahkaman Konstitusi (MK), Jakarta, Rabu (27/1).
FPI ‘warriors,’ clowns hiding behind masks!

Their ‘warrior’ prowess we’ve noted before, as in Sukorejo when the yellow-bellies had to seek sanctuary in a mosque prior to scuttling out of town after dark under police escort.

But speaking of police…where were they?

    Kidnap, theft, violence and vandalism!

A lot of sectarian brutes should be under lock and key by now, but none of the reports refers to this obvious consequence of lawless barbarity.: http://www.goriau.com/berita/peristiwa/breaking-news-massa-fpi-riau-hentikan-kegiatan-berbau-suatu-aliran-1-orang-diamankan.html#sthash.U0VgtQ1F.dpuf

     And what about the HMI?
Did they at once call the cops, demand hot pursuit of the cowardly white-shirt criminals?

After Attacked by FPI, HMI Pekanbaru Apologize

The pathetic little wets said sorry!

The Chairman HMI Pekanbaru Branch, Syuib, said that what happened Friday night was a misunderstanding between the FPI mob and the HMI members who wanted to hold discussions in the building.

“The discussions yesterday evening were just on the role and position of women in the context of Indonesia. There were absolutely no plans to spread false teachings here…” said Syuib .

The student of government at the University of Riau apologized if there was a misunderstanding occurred between HMI with FPI and the community.“We apologize…”

God help Indonesia if this ‘student of government’ ever makes it into government. What he SHOULD have said is that they’ll discuss whatever they like, and invite dissidents, infidels and heretics, if they feel like it.

    • freedom-of-religion
    • AND they’ll call out every member to confront ignoramus interference.

    But if they were outnumbered?

Could the Pekanbaru Police be counted on to safeguard citizens’ rights?

IslamoNazis Rip Academic Freedom – At Another Uni, Their Fuhrer Is Honoured!

You might recall our post last year on the splendid young Muslim students in East Java, with their challenging banner.

‘Tuhan Membusuk’ Banner On Campus? ‘Worse Than ISIS!’ says FPI Fanatic

Back then, the Head of the Philosophy of Religious Studies Program, Department of Islamic Theology and Philosophy, State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Ampel, an academic named Helmy Umam, defended his students.

The students had not intended to insult God. According to Helmy, “God rot” in question refers to degradation of the divine. The students think that the name of God is always being used for the benefit of specific groups to justify killing and war, as well as certain political interests.

    • godsname

    And that is SO true.

But the backward mentality that pervades much of public life in certain areas of Indonesia is not so easily denied its prey.

In beritajatim.com we read that one of those youngsters now faces blasphemy charges arising from that brave banner, no doubt to the delirious joy of the FPI IslamoNazis. Their East Java Gauleiter, Khoiruddin, who instigated the witch-hunt, made that clear.

FPI : Spanduk Yang Dipasang Itu Penistaan Agama

“…a lot of scholars, religious leaders, and leaders of Islamic organizations are angry, because the installation of the banners clearly had insulted Islam. All parties responsible should be severely punished….blasphemy like this is much worse than anything ISIS may be doing.  http://beritajatim.com/politik_pemerintahan/237786/mahasiswa_uin_jadi_tersangka_kasus_dugaan_penistaan_agama.html#.VVAV646qqko .

As he indeed said last year.

Even to compare the vile blood-thirsty rape-gang ISIS with the exercise of academic freedoms is grossly offensive, never mind to seek to have the young man jailed.

But meanwhile, I have to say that this other news is arguably even more pathetic, the IslamoNazi Fuhrer, Habib Rizieq, preening himself as the honoured guest at another university’s ceremony.

    • habib_rizieq_temui_hasyim_muzadi Rizieq

Rizieq is about as rabid a jihadist fanatic as you’ll find in Indonesia. He served time after the Monas Riot in 2008…
FPI_1_Juni victim monas Victim of IslamoNazi thuggery, Monas, 2008
…and his cowardly roving bullies are notorious for violence, vandalism and bitter hatred of religious liberty.

FPI in West Java – ‘Let’s Burn Out the Orphans!’

Despite being fully aware of this heinous record, the Islamic University of Indragiri (Unisi), invited the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Center, KH DR Habib Riziek Shihab, Lc MA to give the religious lecture for last week’s Isra and Miraj anniversary celebrations.
Disgracefully, the Chairman of Riau Provincial Assembly also attended and did not walk out in protest at the presence of the infamous IslamoNazi.
There’s no indication of any protest from any of the academics present at the occasion either, certainly not from the Unisi Rector, a certain Doctor Sri Handayani, whose name indicates that she’s a female.
Peringati Isra Miraj, Unisi Undang Imam Besar FPI Pusat

Sri Handayani, giving Habib Rizieq what? But who’s that looming behind HR? .

Sri made a (no doubt rivetting) speech about how ‘we continue our work on our university campus which is building  Islamic civilization which can bear generations of intelligent insight into the establishment of the symbols of Islam on this earth…”

But regrettably, she didn’t even mention Rizieq’s famously ‘intelligent’  assertion that ex-President SBY was a banci (transgender hooker) for not outlawing the harmless Ahmadiyah religious minority.   https://rossrightangle.wordpress.com/2012/09/01/islamonazis-at-play-fpi-turns-14-still-rabid-after-all-these-years/

Nor did Ms Sri quote another FPI bigot’s ‘insightful’ view that women have their limitations…

…though I suppose her readiness to welcome a thug-gang leader into her university tends to boost that view.

And  I have to ask who that tall white-shirt is in the photo. It looks very much like their most vicious hate-monger, Sobri Lubis, who has never yet been prosecuted for his incitement to murder the Ahmadis  –

Bunuh, bunuh, bunuh,’   – kill, kill, kill,’ he shrieked…urging the murder of the peaceful Ahmadiyah religious minority (video link here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7RLCXNdKF4 )

What was that Sri had to say about ‘civilisation?’

So what gems of sage advice did the High Priest offer the faithful?

He warned the students that the Islamic message has today has been torn apart by liberalism and atheism.
” We as Muslims, especially Unisi academics, should be upholding the greatness of Islamic Shari’ah commands.” http://www.goriau.com/berita/indragiri-hilir/peringati-isra-miraj-unisi-undang-imam-besar-fpi-pusat.html
Sejumlah massa dari Front Pembela Islam (FPI) melakukan aksi di depan Gedung Mahkaman Konstitusi (MK), Jakarta, Rabu (27/1).
I trust those serried ranks of profs and lecturers will currently be getting kitted out in new and more suitable attire.  Many Islamic Scholars Are ‘Former Prisoners and Thugs!’ Gosh! If WE said that…

Bigot ‘Scholars’ Back IslamoNazi Call – ‘Ban Christian Public Worship!’

Islamist intolerance showed its ugly face in Pekanbaru this week, with both the state-funded Indonesian Ulema (‘Scholars!?!’)  Council and the IslamoNazi thug gang demanding that a Christian worship service scheduled for tonight on a public field be banned by the local authorities.

    openair service

The event is part of the National Faith Renewal Day for Riau Province and is the final part thereof, two others already held this week at different venues. It’s organized by Stephen Tong Evangelistic Ministries International.

“We urge the Mayor of Pekanbaru that the Christians be transferred to their places of worship, not in the open field,” said Secretary MUI Pekanbaru City Hashyim.

    mui hasyim pekanb MUI’s Hasyim

The MUI man sought to justify his own intolerance by citing reports from various elements of society, community leaders and Islamic organizations throughout Pekanbaru.

“Earlier, every Islamic organisation in town came to us. The planned worship is getting a serious response from the community,” he added.

The IslamoNazi FPI (self-styled ‘Defenders of Islam’) was quick to join the bigot chorus.

    fpi pekanbaru Pekanbaru IslamoNazis

“Our hope is that they will accord with what has been decided by the meeting of Pekanbaru MUI,”  That from the local FPI Gauleiter, R. Ade Hasibuan.

So why the hell should Christians, or anyone else, ‘abide’ by any ‘decision’ reached by a gaggle of un-elected fanatics?

“This is a country that has high Islamic values…,” explained the IslamoNazi.

As so often, the FPI’s deeds and words embarrass decent Muslims, who surely have no problem with their Christian neighbours holding an open-air service.

There is no rational basis on which to object, and Hasibuan’s claim, that his hate gang operates on a basis of high Islamic values, actually taints the creed his white-shirt louts purport to defend.
