Biased BBC Opts For The Name, Not The Knife!

    Having a slothful morning today…

    ..

    ..not!

The man who’s removing my leaky water pump and installing a new one arrived at 8am, thus waking me up.

Yesterday he arrived at 7.15am to inspect it!

However, thus dredged from the depths of sleep, I let him get on with it, and tuned into my daily dose of masochism, UK Pravda.

    .

    .

Along the bottom of the screen, they have an ever-changing series of news updates.

Today’s included ‘Police officer in Kenosha shooting named.’

Not ONE WORD on the big news from Kenosha!

Breaking: Investigators say knife recovered from car that Jacob Blake reached into…

    ..

Not the knife in the report – no picture yet available

    ..

The report from The Blaze, a non-left source, gives us this key info courtesy of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation … Read more

…and The Blaze headline also includes what the BBC graciously decided to let us know.

…identity released of officer who shot him.

Breaking: Investigators say knife recovered from car that Jacob Blake reached into; identity released of officer who shot him

In other words, a small right-of-centre part of the media in the USA gives us fair and balanced news…

…not the pinko pablum we are fed by the BBC.

Morning, Ross. I sympathise with you on the workman issue. A lot of my neighbours in Jakarta rise at dawn. They don’t appreciate the advantages of WFH.
I watched the BBC World News after I read your comments on it and you are correct.
I also noticed, never used to notice but more alert these days, that on their news at the top of the hour that they now refer to Blake as a ‘black man,’ but not an ‘unarmed black man.’
A reality check? Then they switched to the Sports News and the little man there went back to the ‘unarmed’ script.
      Hopeless!

…and noted that Toady was calling the riotous mob depredations ‘uprisings!’

As if mob thuggery can be equated with something like the Hungarian people’s 1956 revolt.

Abdullah was on at 10am, given free rein, leading questions, talked rot, about how policing ‘evolved from slave-catching,’ blamed Trump, and blamed LA police for their attempts to enforce the law.

Asked about her view of the savage ‘protesters’ bad behaviour, Abdullah showed us she wasn’t in the business of giving straight answers.

Your BBC must be really committed to the cause of mob violence.
Most people I know will be on the side of law enforcement, but would be happer if cops were given orders to shoot as many rioters as they can.

Unrest in Indonesia – The BIG Issue?

Having lived in Jakarta or thereabouts for more than two decades, I have come to love the city, despite it’s frustrations, notably the traffic…

    .

    .

..but I still use public transport, which has certainly improved over the years…

    .

    .

…with the TransJakarta buses a big improvement on those old kopajas.

The bonus from using buses is that I get to talk to lots of local people and often see the same folks on the same buses they use every day to work or college.

One such is an undergrad guy, who likes to talk politics.

He used to say he was only interested in the subject academically, but he was impressed that I had once been a student anti-communist activist.

Like most Indonesians, he understands how evil communism is.

However, this month has changed him.

He just told me today that he had joined the turbulent demo last week!

    Why?

    Because he likes freedom.

Much media coverage has concerned the benighted moves to jail those ‘guilty’ of extra-marital sex…

…which has been happening for thousands of years in every country but seems to get uptight old (and younger) windbags here terribly steamed up.

    oooooooooooooooooo

    Especially when they’re caught!

Far worse, in my view, is the ‘blasphemy’ nonsense – various Western media have mentioned this as a cause of the rowdy unrest, but I cannot pin-point any specific alteration planned.

As if the law were not already quite oppressive enough, as shown by the imprisonment of Jakarta’s best-ever governor, Ahok, two years ago, merely for quoting a verse.

    =

    Ahok

Slouching Towards Shariah, Indonesia Jails Ahok

Some malevolents even wanted to have him executed!

There’s also an imbecilic clause about insulting the head of state.

And there are issues about the campaign against corruption, which is at least as offensive to decent people as the Brussels/Strasbourg rip-offs are to the subjects of the EUSSR…..

“I’m Interested In…”“Oh No You’re Not,” Say Strasbourg Slugs!

Brussels Lush Again – Your Taxes Pay For This Bum’s Booze!

…which are not oftimes reported here, although local scandals are!

Beef Scandal – Islamist Fanatic Luthfi Jailed ‘Till the Cows Come Home!’

I offer you a link with more details on the demo and the reasons.

    https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/indonesia-protest-against-proposed-law-changes-criminal-code-11941522

So which did my commuter-pal object to most?

Not the so-called ban on ‘free-sex’ – ‘but you foreigners must beware,’ he laughed!

Nor the ‘blasphemy’ blather. ‘It will make no difference,’ he said, ‘Ahok never blasphemed but they jailed him anyway!’

Nor even the corruption issue. With a ruling class like ours, he shook his head sadly, corruption will never end.

    NONE OF THE ABOVE!

My bus buddy wants to be free to insult heads of state.

    .

    .

Not that he especially dislikes President Jokowi  – in fact he says the incumbent is ‘not a bad guy.’

But he savours what he reads about life in the West, where EVERYBODY insults every politician every day!

    .

If They Were Your Daughters? Merkel’s Never-Ending Evil

And with good reason, I had to admit!

B Specials Wouldn’t Have Been ‘Chased Away!’

I take my headline today from that above The Times report on the shameful scenes in Ulster this week, when ‘police withdrew from a stand-off with republican youths over a bonfire in Belfast.’  https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/psni-chased-away-from-anti-internment-bonfire-jr5x3k5x8

The phrase ‘chased away’ is the very opposite of fake news, for those in command of the Police Service of Northern Ireland personnel…

    .RAT-facebook

    .

…in the notorious republican rats-nest called the New Lodge estate, did indeed order their men ( and women, presumably) to depart ‘at speed in a hail of missiles.’

I’m not blaming the individual cops there.

I AM blaming those who ordered them out, instead of telling them to use their guns to clean up the scum attacking them.

    ..

    shoot terrs

A brief look back, to the days when I was hitching around British Ulster as a much younger fellow.

A friendly old farmer stopped and took me through a lovely stretch of Country Antrim. He, like most Ulsterfolk, was more than ready  to talk about the ‘Troubles’ and what a mistake it had been to get rid of the Royal Ulster Constabulary’s B Specials.

”They knew where the IRA lived and where they worked, they could get right in there after them. They kept them in check.”

Hence Sinn Fein/IRA hated the B Specials.

And the powers that be, or were, in those days, buckled.

    The B Specials were abolished.

    .

    appeasement

    .

Appeasement merely whets the appetite of evil, and in due course the RUC itself was wound up, on the recommendation of that wet Tory Chris Patton’s ‘report,’ an act of abject cowardice, motivated not so much by anything the RUC was doing,  but by the force’s name…

Ulster Top Cop – Lying, or Grovelling to Sinn Fein?

…a name which collaborating curs have continued to seek to erase.

    .

    ruc

    .

That ‘Royal’ had to go, and the name ‘Ulster’ with it, along with the Union Flags which proudly flew from each and every RUC police station.

    .

    union-jack2

…and still the appeasement continues, with Belfast’s New Lodge abandoned to disloyal swine –  ‘the estate was barricaded with metal fencing as teenagers held their hands up in triumph atop the anti-internment pyre.’

The best response to those rioters, as it should have been but wasn’t in the 1980s London riots…

    .

    .london riot

Riot Rat Still Squealing in Tottenham!

…would have been to go in heavy, disperse the rabble with gunfire, batter any recalcitrants down and haul them off roughly to enjoy a spot of the internment they were whining about.

In other words, read the riot act!

    Riot Act has been read

    Not a chance!

Instead there’s a big broad evil grin on every Sinn Fein traitor’s face this weekend.

Oh, for a British Government that would wipe that treasonous leer off their uppity faces.

We could do with the B Specials today.

Cops Face Savages in North London – Best Just Shoot Them!

I heard that Britain has been having its hottest weather for years. That’s when rioting can get started – if it’s not stamped on promptly.

People in the large group at Stamford Hill were reported to have machetes, swords, hammers and bats, and threw bottles at police…

Stamford Hill placed on lockdown as London riot cops called

Hasil gambar untuk stamford hill machetes police

    =

Why not just arm the cops and take the scum out?

    Pour encouragez les autres!

—said ironically of an action (such as an execution) carried out as a warning to others  https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pour

Then have Prime Minister May warn any other savages showing signs of similar mayhem that there will be orders to shoot them down if they step out of line?

If all the rabble get in the way of consequences is one or two arrests, as I believe was the case the other night, what kind of deterrent is that?

Britain is ripe for another nationwide bout of rioting.  There are treasonous swine in high places whose past record amply demonstrates their morally vacuous view of politically-motivated violence aka terrorism.

    =

    =

For sure, such disloyals regard mob violence with equal indifference and would take pleasure in exploiting disorder to push for power.

Even we who hold May in something near contempt for her u-turns cannot contemplate with equanimity the animosity towards democracy displayed by so many people in the UK, not confined to the callow, semi-educated millennial asses.

It’s time to enforce laws against riotous assembly!

By Any Means Necessary, as the reds on their Day of Rage put it so succinctly.

We can see how it happens in the USA, cop shoots thug or thief, criminal class begins wailing and weeping, then rioting, with support from media.
Then a jury finds cop innocent, then his city or county fires him anyhow, rioters figure they always win, on it goes.

One day the criminals and the media will run into some governor or mayor who will not bend over backwards, then it will be a day of reckoning.
Who wins the day of reckoning will inherit our country. I hope Donald Trump is still president when it happens, because he will stand by the police.

Riot Rat Still Squealing in Tottenham!

And now we read of the ‘man who sparked riots’ in 2011 telling us it could ‘happen again.’

Well, yes, it could, but not if the government makes it very clear there will – for a change- be consequences.

The lesson should have been taught them thirty years earlier, after the riots when PC Blakelock lost his life to an evil mob.

    0000000000

    PC KEITH BLAKELOCK/SILLCOTT CASE

    000

Had Maggie listened to Oliver Letwin, rather than that wet weasel Heseltine, things might have been put right.

“Lower-class, unemployed white people lived for years in appalling slums without a breakdown of public order on anything like the present scale; in the midst of the depression, people in Brixton went out, leaving their grocery money in a bag at the front door, and expecting to see groceries there when they got back.

    • ………………………………………..
    • “Riots, criminality and social disintegration are caused solely by individual characters and attitudes. So long as bad moral attitudes remain, all efforts to improve the inner cities will founder.”

Letwin apologises over 1985 Broadwater Farm riot memo – BBC News

    ——

But millions were pumped in and thirty years later, it was made manifest that bribery doesn’t work. The savages went rioting again.

The obvious consequence for any savage who runs amok should be a bullet in the brain, a ‘shoot-to-kill’ policy that would restore law and order inside 24 hours if applied wherever outbreaks of mayhem occur.

Incredibly, a convicted malignant called Mark Knox-Hooke (where do these louts get their double-barrelled names!?!) is described as one of the stars of a new film…that explores the root causes of anger and alienation in the community  – not bad for a jail-bird who appears to have, like the post-French Revolution Bourbons, learned nothing and forgotten nothing.

    Scumbag extraordinaire –

Knox-Hooke was also caught on CCTV kicking police cars and holding up the shutters of the Paradise Gems Jewellery store as rioters burgled it and burnt it to the ground.   https://www.pappzd.com/2012/11/tottenham-riots-london-riots-uk-riots/

    ========================================

    • Knox-Hooke makes this absurd, arrogant declaration.

“…my fight was towards the police. The riots could happen again. If you oppress a people for too long, eventually they’ll want to stand up to you. Because they look at it like,

‘We ain’t got nothing to lose’.’

    ===========

    • london riot
    • ———————–
    • They would have their lives to lose, if law enforcement was properly equipped, with the right weaponry and authority to use it.

But sensible measures are unlikely, given the police personnel quoted.

‘To see that burning bus, to see crowds, to see officers who were fearful, it was a completely disturbing image, a disturbing time,’ said Commander Mak Chishty, the Met’s hate crime lead, who was area commander for north London during the 2011 riots.  http://www.skynews.com.au/news/world/europe/2016/08/06/man-who-sparked-riots-says-it-could-repeat.html

    Disturbing?

A wake-up call, more like, as to the menace of undesirables, so unlike the decent people who went through years of hardship and unemployment in the inter-war years and did not resort to foul lawlessness. Letwin knew that, saw that, said that, but was subsequently coerced into a pitiful apology.

And for sure, Chishty is hardly a man to rely on, a man whose men were cowed by the rabble, but whom we can’t blame because that clown Chishty didn’t give them the high-powered guns they could have used to put the scum to flight.

And now he’s the go-to guy for the nonsense offences called ‘hate-crimes?’  Are there no real cops in the upper ranks of the Met these days?

My maternal grandparents and great-grandparents lived all their lives in Tottenham, and maybe theirs before them. They went through two world wars and the depression years in between, and never complained. Life was hard, very hard, but they were secure in the knowledge that they lived in a community of decent British people with decent British traditional values.
Nobody rioted, or launched mob attacks on the police.

The area is repulsive today and I would not walk its streets at night. Letwin was right in 1980, but so wrong to apologise for telling the truth.
This nasty Knox person sums up how insane governments were to replace the natives of Tottenham with thousands of shameless individuals like him who turn to crime but can then be transformed into film stars.

Before anyone says it, I know there are decent people who came to Britain in the Fifties but they are not the majority in Tottenham today.
We only need to see what they elect to Parliament to see that.

I remember that Broadwater Farm riot. It was terrifying just to be out on the streets of some parts of North London that day and for days after.
We kept indoors with doors locked. That poor policeman was hacked to death in broad daylight and if I’m not wrong, nobody was put in prison for his murder.
If the government had taken measures like you are talking about, things would have quieted down PDQ.

Who Do Think You Are Kidding, Mama Stasi?

Even the left-lib media recognise the crass stupidity of this Lammy louse.

But those like Lammy who want to spit in the face of democracy are merely reflecting the arrogance of the EuroCommissars who are busily stomping on unrest elsewhere in Europe.

Sweden – Rude Little Rat Plays Race Card!

“For many people it will be a symbolic act. But for me it is a consequence of my faith and my religion, and I have to be respected for who I am,” he said of his reluctance to shake women’s hands.”

    http://www.thelocal.se/20160502/this-would-not-have-happened-if-i-was-white

    • I suppose if he spat on passing Jews, he’d say the same?

This mangy little sexist oaf named Yasri Khan, a freako fanatic forced to resign from his job with the Green Party last month, clearly doesn’t grasp that he does NOT ‘have to be respected.’

    Respect has to be earned.

Many Swedes might reckon he has to be despised, for using a cloak of religion to try to justify his backward bigotry.

    The man’s a liar.

    ————–

    • sexism
    • ————-
    • Most Muslims here in Jakarta are happy to shake hands with women. And when the same issue arose recently in Switzerland, decent Muslims there rebuked the nasty little sectarian sexist who wouldn’t shake hands with a lady.

There was no reference in the Koran justifying a refusal to shake a woman teacher’s hand, said the Swiss Federation of Islamic Organisations. Saida Keller-Messahli of the Forum for Progressive Islam urged the Swiss not to give in to extremist demands.     http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35967349

But what gets me is his pathetic attempt to play the race card, whining that he had been the victim of an Islamophobic, racist campaign which risks turning Sweden into a divided society.

    ———–

    • racist
    • “I am quite sure I would not have been treated like this if I’d been a white man. “

    ———————

First of all, Sweden has already been turned into a divided society, by its own stupid governments, which have allowed benighted brutes like him to settle there, people who can’t adapt to Swedish ways and insist on imposing their own alien customs and cultures.  http://www.thelocal.se/20160421/young-extremists-in-sweden-must-be-taken-seriously

Secondly, if he’d been white, there’d have been an even greater uproar over such a display of crass discourtesy.

    • political-correctness_submission
    • Instead we have the politically correct Enemy Within rallying to his cause because, they say, alien imports like Yasri should not be expected to accord with civilised standards of basic good manners.

Thirdly, of course, Muslims are NOT a race.

I have personally met white, brown, black and yellow Muslims. So ‘racism’ does not come into questions of being pro- or anti- Muslim.

But what makes this little obnox so offensive is the barely veiled threat of violence, if Swedes don’t kow-tow to his sort of fanaticism.

Otherwise, this is not the end. We could end up in a situation similar to France and see the suburbs burn.

Actually, ignoramus, the burning began in Sweden several years ago.

Sweden in flames: As gangs of migrants riot for five nights …

    But we take your point.

It’s not only in Sweden, Ross. In France, according to what I’ve been reading, there are soccer players who ‘refused to shake hands with the female delegates of the football federation..”
Mr.Eric Borghini, a regional President of the French Football Federation told the media.-“There were even referees who refused to shake hands with female players.”

I honestly can’t see why they should be allowed to play again if they don’t apologize for their bad manners.

Migrants aka ‘refugees’ aka ‘asylum-seekers’ have been the cause of soaring crime against women, including rape, in Sweden for years and this Khan thinks he deserves ‘respect’ for disrespecting women?
Quite right, Ross, he and his kind have to be repatriated and not only from Sweden.

‘Refugee’ Savages’ Mayhem? READ THE RIOT ACT!

Greece arrests six people for forging asylum seekers’ documents

    Hasil gambar untuk forged passports

Slack lot, these phoneys. Few Greeks like being invaded so their police will be under pressure to make an effort, and the dumbo fakers get nabbed.
The smarter ones get it done in Afghanistan. Eighty per cent of my customers go on a fake passport to Britain…” Boom time for Afghanistan’s people smugglers | World news …
    ========

It’s hardly news that many, if not most, of these so-called ‘refugees’ are lying fakers. Ask Australia, one smart country where folks got wise to the con game played by the boat bludgers.

‘A Soft Touch!’ Truth Will Out on Asylum Parasites! Oz Officials ‘Know You’re Lying’ but ‘You’ll Be Fine!’

But slack in their preparations or not, the illegals’ arrogance remains unparalleled, their rage against responsible governments which refuse to allow their sovereign borders to be trampled and gate-crashed mounting daily, with yet another outbreak of violence last week, police officers doing their duty pelted with rocks and stones by the brutal swarm at Idomeni.

Tension flared as police officers tried to move people away from the railway tracks, where there have been daily protests calling for the Macedonian government to reopen the border crossing…“Shutting the border has had the general effect of angering people,” said Anestis Ischnopolous, a field coordinator for the NGO Praksis.  http://www.euronews.com/2016/03/29/greece-stranded-refugees-and-migrants-clash-with-police-in-idomeni/.

    ooooooooo

    The Enemy at the Gate!

    ————

Actually, shuttng borders makes good citizens nod with approval,

Bu that pinko Greek is another good argument for keeping some of these NGOs out of the trouble-spots. Instead of expressing outrage that his country’s guardians have come under attack, he rabbits about the ‘angered’ aliens, who have no right to be there, never mind run amok. There’s a video of the scene via that Euronews link.

And last night, again, more reports, foul alien louts brawling in Piraeus, stabbings on the island of Samos, more violence on Chios.  http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35940868

If these crimmigrants are so unhappy, they should get the hell back to whence they came. The Greeks certainly neither want nor need their tantrums. Nobody in his or her right mind would wish to let barbarous brutes like that anywhere near family or friends

But EXACTLY such uncivilised antics were predicted, last week, with a serious warning that cimmigrant violence will engulf all Europe!

Bursts of violence have aready broken out between migrants and Macedonian police along the border – but police now warn this could soon rupture into all-out migrant-led riots across Europe.

Explosion of migrant violence predicted as countries crack down

SECURITY officials have warned a growing bottleneck of migrants could trigger an unprecedented wave of violent riots as tension surrounding …

    Only one sane response.
    READ THE RIOT ACT!
That was the traditional prelude in Britain when mobs showed signs of running amok.
I particularly like that bit which orders them to ‘depart to their habitations’ – and that was worded long before the modern phenomenon of parasitic country-shoppers!
    ===========================
The officer in charge, by reading the law out loud, was thereby warning them that this was their last chance to mind their manners.
Time to do the same today – with each European nation producing its own version but with identical consequences, which should be…

Keeping some of these NGOs out?
You are on the right track but after the news this morning it looks as if some of the NGOs are pulling out of their own choice, realising how ungrateful the illegals can be.
I’m forwarding the link so you can comment on it but knowing you, you’ll be on it already.
I try to read your blog every day, it’s a tonic after what we are fed by the BBC. Well done!
